On Friday night, there were fireworks, so since I had come on a trip, I made an early reservation for this tour to watch the sunset and enjoy Hawaiian music while viewing the fireworks from the boat.
My biggest concern was the boat rocking. I tend to get motion sickness, so I took medication, but as the sun set, the wind picked up quite a bit, and the boat rocked a lot. However, while watching the cheerful Hawaiian songs and dances inside the boat, it quickly became time for the fireworks. The moon was very beautiful that night, and it was wonderful.
The food was also great; my son had chicken and devoured it, saying it was delicious. I had lobster, which was too big for me to finish.
Since I didn't book through a travel agency like JTB or HIS, I was honestly worried about whether my reservation was properly made when I arrived at the crowded meeting place. It was convenient because I had an e-voucher and it was ticketless. I highly recommend this if you're going to Hawaii at least once.

お料理も、息子はチキンで美味しい美味しいと平らげていました。私はロブスターで、大きすぎて食べきれず。
JTBやHISなどの旅行会社経由で申し込んだわけではなかったので、集合場所の人混みに行った時は、正直予約がちゃんとされてるか？心配になりました。eバウチャーで、チケットレスだったので、楽でした。ハワイに行くなら是非一度はおススメ。

Two years ago, in 2015, my family and I experienced the same tour course and had a great time, so I thought it would definitely be enjoyable for our honeymoon trip as well and signed up.

However, when we actually went on the day, the content was completely different from two years ago, and I couldn't enjoy it.

Considering just this time, I booked a lower-priced, casual course, so I can see how it might be appropriate for that. However, I was very disappointed because I was expecting the enjoyable experience from two years ago. I thought there might have been a mistake and that I had booked a different rank of course, but upon checking, it was indeed the same course. I wish I could get my money and time back.

To explain this year's experience specifically:
Location: It was on the first floor of the boat, at the tail end, in a space that was indented in the center, so I couldn't see the whole thing and it felt cramped.
Show: The hula dancers in costumes performed for only about 15 minutes, and then it turned into something like a presentation by the serving staff, followed by an elderly man's ukulele show (just karaoke level). There were also some participatory elements. (By the time the hula and other performances were happening, it was already dark, and we couldn't see the sunset.)
Food: I wasn't expecting much, but even so, there were very few dishes, and I was really disappointed.

Two years ago, we were seated on the first floor of the boat, in the central area, which was spacious and allowed us to see the whole performance. The show featured men and women in authentic costumes performing hula and dances one after another, and sometimes the serving staff would dance as well. The participatory events were also a lot of fun.

I cannot consider participating again next time.

今回だけで考えると、全体の中で値段は低くカジュアルなコースを予約したので、相応な内容なのかとも思えますが、二年前の楽しかった内容を期待していたので、とてもがっかりでした。
手違いで違うランクのコースを予約したのかと思ったのですが、確認したところ同じコースの予約でした。お金と時間を返してほしいくらいです。

今年の内容を具体的に説明すると、
場所　　：船の一階、尾の部分だったのか中央に凹の形の空間で、全体は見渡せず、手狭でした。
ショー　：衣装を着たフラや踊りは15分ほどしかなく、あとは給仕スタッフの発表会のようなもの、老齢の男性のウクレレショー（カラオケ程度）が続きました。
参加型のものもありました。
（フラなどの出し物があっているまにすっかり日がおち、サンセットは見れませんでした）
ごはん　：期待はしていなかったのですが、それにしても品数も少なく、本当にがっかりでした。

２年前は船の1階、中央部分、広く全体が見渡せる席でした。
ショーも、本格的な衣装を着た男性・女性が次々にフラダンスや踊りを披露してくれ、ときに給仕のスタッフの子が踊ったり、参加型のイベントもとても楽しかったです。

次回の参加は考えられません。

Since we participated on Friday, we were able to see the Hilton fireworks from the boat! The staff were all friendly, and the captain talked a lot with the kids, making it a wonderful memory for the whole family.

It was convenient to be picked up at the hotel. There was a dedicated waiter at the assigned seat who brought drinks and food. The all-you-can-eat crab was especially impressive; I ate several additional servings of boiled crab, leaving no time to watch the show. It was nice to receive a complimentary commemorative photo on the way back.

We scheduled our evening on the Prince Kuhio Sunset Cruise for our 26th Wedding Anniversary. It wasn't a large boat but I will tell you the Captain and the crew had big hearts and were full of BIG surprises.

We had a sumptuous dinner that was better than any meal I had had on the island. The chef should be commended. The food was served quickly and it was hot when you got it. The crew swiftly took your beverage orders and made sure you were happy. Their customer service was exemplary!

Then we were entertained to a hula show and a fire dance. The evening was capped off by a spectacular fireworks display from the shore.

This crew worked their tails off: they drove the shuttle buses, they served food and beverages, and they put on a show.

It was a magical night that I will never forget as long as I live! Thank you Prince Kuhio!

This was my first time using Veltra. I had some concerns about it being cheaper than optional tours from travel companies, but I was able to experience it without any issues.

Now, regarding the actual tour, I was very satisfied. Here are my thoughts:

■ Can you enjoy it even if it's not a 3-star or 1-star experience?
I was wondering if I could enjoy it at Pacific Star, but since I had kids with me, opting for the buffet instead of a course meal was the right choice.

■ Sunset view
The view was from the second floor this time, and it was sufficient. I would have been satisfied even from the first floor, and since the top floor is an observation deck that you can access anytime, I think there wouldn't be any issues even in the worst-case scenario. *There was also a smoking area here.

■ Food
Rice dishes, salads, chicken dishes, noodles, roast beef, cakes, cookies. I can't remember exactly, but that was the lineup for the buffet. There might have been a couple more items? The food was delicious, and the service was smooth as we were guided in order.

■ Performance
I thought it wouldn't be much since it was on the lowest level, but there were songs and dances, and I enjoyed it. At the end, everyone dances together, and I was able to have fun with my kids.

■ Seating
This is a matter of luck. Some spots might be a bit cramped? However, I think it's also nice to move to the observation deck or hallway to enjoy the view.

■ Motion sickness
The boat sways a bit when it stops moving. If you're prone to motion sickness, it might be best to be cautious.

I can't speak English, but the service was kind, and I felt it was a great experience to have on my last day in Hawaii! It might have been worth the price.

うろ覚えですがブッフェのラインナップです。もう2点ぐらいあったかな？
味も美味しく、順番に案内されるのでスムーズでした。

■演出
最下層なのでたいしたことないかなと思っていましたが、歌、ダンスとあり楽しめました。
また、最後に全員でダンスをしますが子供と一緒にはしゃぐことができました。

■座席
これは運です。少し狭い場所もあるかも？
ただ、展望台や廊下に移動して景色を楽しむのもありだと思います。

■船酔い
船の動きがとまると少し揺れます。乗り物酔いする人は油断しないほうがいいかも。

当方英語が話せませんが、接客も親切でハワイ最終日にくんでよかったな！と思える内容でした。
値段に見合ってたのかも。

I made a reservation for pickup at the Ala Moana Hotel, but when the pickup time came, no one showed up. After 30 minutes, I called the tour company but couldn't get through, and 45 minutes later, I had to take a taxi to the location and barely made it onto the ship just before departure.

I recommend caution for those requesting a pickup. It was the worst experience. I would like a refund for the taxi fare.

Later, I received a contact from VELTRA, and they coordinated with the tour company to refund the taxi fare. Since I received the refund, I will revise my rating from 1 star to 3 stars.

アラモアナホテルお迎えで予約しましたが、ピックアップ時間になっても来ないため、30分後にツアー会社に電話かけても繋がらず、45分後に急遽タクシーで現地へ向かい出航寸前の船に飛び乗りました。

We boarded the Star 3 as a couple.

Since we were at the Sheraton Waikiki, it was great that the bus came right up to the hotel, but I felt that the bus fare was a bit pricey. On top of that, there were hundreds of people at the meeting point, which made it very crowded.

After boarding, the Star 3 had dining on the second floor, but it was obviously crowded and fully booked. It wasn't a relaxed dining experience.

水平線に沈む夕日や、夜景などは非常に綺麗だった。
ただし、夕日などのタイミングはみんな同じように写真を
撮影するので混雑します。

【ショー】
楽しかったし、非常に盛り上がっていた。
今回、ハワイでこういったショーを見に行く予定を立ててなかったので
非常に楽しくて、良い体験ができた。

まぁ、感想としては普通だなぁーといった感じ。
次回ハワイに来るときは参加しなくても良いかな。といった感じ。

I boarded the same ship as I did about 15 years ago. Last time, I only remember enjoying a course meal and admiring the breathtaking views, but this time, we opted for the buffet course. It was the right choice. The crew provided the best entertainment. They performed hula dancing until we reached the port, and towards the end, the passengers joined in the dancing and took photos together.

On the lower deck, they were having a course meal, but it didn't seem very lively. I'm glad we chose the buffet, and my family and I returned home with smiles, saying it was the best dinner cruise ever.

I thought there wouldn't be much rocking since it's a large ship that can hold hundreds of people, but it swayed more than I imagined.

We participated as a pair, but the two-person tables were already taken, so we shared a round table with someone who came alone.

何百人と乗れる大きな船なのでそんなに揺れはないかな～と思いましたが、
想像以上に揺れたので、

酔いやすい方は酔い止めを
飲んでいたほうがいいです。

スピードもゆっくりなので余計揺れるのが分かります。

2名で参加しましたが、2人席が既に埋まっており、
1名参加の方と相席でした（丸いテーブル）

サンセットは出発後すぐに見れるので、
まず食事をとったらすぐに写真を撮りにいったほうがいいです。
（すぐに夕日が沈んでしまいます）

ビュッフェは卓ごとに並んでとり、
その後は各自好きにとれますが、
2杯目とりにいこうと思ったら既に片付けられてしまっていたので

食事をとるなら早めに確保しておいたほうがいいです！

ディナークルーズというよりは、
ダンサーの方々のパフォーマンスの方がメインでした＾＾;

最後には私たち参加者も交えての
ダンスになり、とても楽しかったです！

My wife and I booked this during our honeymoon and definitely enjoyed ourselves! The food was delicious, the view was spectacular and gave us plenty of picture opportunities at sunset on the back of the ship! We definitely enjoyed the on board entertainment with the hula dancers, the gentleman on the ukelele, solo vocalist, pianist and they even had a saxophone player who dabbled in the art of the jazz flute! What a great night out!!

I signed up in June. The weather was perfect, and it was the best sunset cruise. The lobster was incredibly delicious. When the sunset came, I was busy taking photos and couldn't eat calmly (laughs). However, there were many people who enjoyed their meals slowly while watching the hula show, and towards the end, everyone was really excited. The view of Diamond Head from the boat was also lovely.

ロブスターもすごく美味しかったです。
サンセットになると、写真を撮ったりで忙しく、私は、落ち着いて食べれませんでした（笑）
でも、フラのショーを見ながらゆっくりお食事をされてる方もたくさんおられて、終わりの方はみなさん、すごく盛り上がっていました。
船上から見るダイヤモンドヘッドも素敵でした。

I signed up to see the fireworks in Waikiki. I registered late, so this was the only course available, but the food was even better than I expected, and the performances on the boat were enjoyable.

The weather was nice that day, and the sunset was beautiful. If you want to sit on the ocean side, it's better to book that option in advance.

Time flew by. I was entertained from start to finish without getting bored.

That day, since Japan was on a long holiday, most of the participants were Japanese, with a small group of Koreans mixed in. A lot of old Japanese pop songs were performed, which were mainly aimed at the Japanese audience, so I think it might have been a bit boring for the Koreans at times.

I thought the fireworks would look big from the boat, but since we were quite far from the beach, they were smaller than I expected. However, I still enjoyed it. Next time, I want to see them up closer.

韓国人のクループが少し混じっていました。日本のかなり昔い歌謡曲が
かなり演奏され、主に日本人向けとなっていたので、韓国人の方にとっては、
ところどころつまらなかったのではないかと思います。

花火は船上からでも大きく見られるかと思いましたが、
ビーチからかなり離れていたので思っていたより小さかったです。
でも、楽しめました。今度はもっと近くで見たいです。

このクルーズは、初めてハワイに参加される方にはお勧めではないかと
思います。値段が少し高いと思いましたが、お料理とエンターテインメントが
予想以上だったので結果的には満足しています。
