Day 5 in Hawaii: We were blessed with wonderful weather and spent the afternoon playing at Waikiki beach. After taking a shower at the hotel, it was time for the sunset dinner cruise in the evening. While waiting for the pickup at the designated spot near the hotel, I was surprised to see that the vehicle was a large bus. I thought it was because there would be that many people for the boat, but when we arrived at the dock's parking lot, there were more than ten similar buses. Amazing!

Following the crowd, I boarded the ship while catching a glimpse of the welcoming hula dance and made my way to my assigned seat. After a while, the announcement was made, and we slowly set sail. Once we were out at sea, the sunset over the horizon was stunning, with the waves reflecting a beautiful red hue. I lost myself in the moment on the deck, soaking in the twilight, when my friends pointed out, "Other people are getting food from the buffet." The sunset was likely enhanced by the great weather, low humidity, and clear air.

It can get a bit chilly in the evenings in late December, so I recommend bringing a jacket. However, it was fine inside the ship without one.

I participated in the reasonably priced buffet type. There weren't many Japanese people, and there were a lot of lively Latin individuals. I had pre-ordered red wine, so ordering just a Mai Tai for drinks was sufficient. The food was better than I had imagined, with plenty of delicious roast beef available, and I was able to eat a lot. However, the atmosphere and shows on the upper deck are a bit different, so for those who want to create special memories, the course option would be better, while the buffet type is great for those who prefer a casual, lively experience! The three-star venue had no dress code, but I dressed up a bit for the outing. Choosing a window seat was a great decision since it was filled with newlyweds. When I asked the staff about the smoking area, they said it was on the aft deck. That spot was perfect for watching the sunset and the night view of Waikiki, and I took a ton of photos. At the end of the show, we had a group dance during the cha-cha, and it was a lot of fun.

I used the service on Christmas Eve.
The service was far from what I imagined or expected, and I was disappointed.
The food selection was not enough to be called a buffet.
The guidance after boarding, the service, and the cleanliness of the ship made my partner and me feel bad, despite it being Christmas Eve.

Both the food and the night view are definitely a perfect score of 100 points. The contrast of the sunset and the city skyline creates an undeniably romantic atmosphere. On top of that, the dinner show and dance were a huge hit and left us very satisfied.
