It was a three-star course. I was excited from the bus ride there. We were welcomed with hula dancing before boarding the ship.
Once we arrived, a staff member placed a flower from the table in my ear.

The view from the ship was beautiful, both the sunset and the night scenery.
The staff took photos for us, and they were all very thoughtful. They captured a photo of us making a heart shape with our hands against the setting sun, which was very moving.

The music ranged from authentic Hawaiian tunes to the Japanese YMCA and Southern All Stars, and we all danced in a circle at the end.

We were blessed with beautiful weather, and since our seats were on the west side, we were able to enjoy the sunset perfectly. It was so bright that I could hardly keep my eyes open.
The food was generally satisfying. I got a bit greedy with the cheese selection from the buffet, and by the time I got to one of the main dishes, the beef steak, I was already full.
We were also able to watch the Friday night fireworks at Hilton Hawaiian Village (although they were a bit far away) from a great vantage point.
However, there was one disappointing thing... While we were out on the deck watching the fireworks, all the untouched desserts for everyone were taken away. We should have communicated better with the staff before leaving our seats, but I regret it since we were looking forward to that last treat.

The only thing we didn't like too much was the crowdedness. My wife is claustrophobic, so she didn't like that the tables were very close together. Other then that being our one complaint, this is a cruise worth doing. The sunset is beautiful!

For a sunset dinner cruise, it really needs to go out to sea to capture the atmosphere. This cruise takes you out to the waters off Diamond Head.

The food is all-you-can-eat and quite filling, so I don't think you'll go hungry. I chose a seat by the window, but since everyone was seated for dinner, it might not have mattered much.

We were also able to see the fireworks on Friday, and the whole family was satisfied.

サンセットディナークルーズとなると、やっぱり沖に出てくれないと雰囲気が出ません。このクルーズはダイアモンドヘッドの沖まで出てくれます。
食事はまあ食べ放題のボリュームなので足らないことはないと思います。窓際の席にしたのですが、みんな着席しての食事だったのであんまり意味はなかったかもしれません。
金曜日の花火もしっかりと見れて家族一同満足でした。
