During our stay, we were blessed with good weather, but on the last night, we had planned a slightly luxurious dinner cruise... only to be surprised by rain! Since our seats were on the inside, we couldn't enjoy the night view, but the crew kept the atmosphere lively, making the time fly by. The kids also had fun dancing. When we waited at the front entrance of the nearby hotel, the van arrived on time. There were ten of us in total, sharing with other guests, and it was fully booked (laughs). We arrived at the location without stopping at other hotels.

After arriving, we waited a little in line to board the boat, but it wasn't too crowded, and we smoothly got on board.

We were seated on the first floor, where there weren't many guests, and the empty seats were noticeable. We participated in a one-star all-you-can-eat crab and steak course with six family members. My mother, who cannot eat meat, was relieved to be able to switch to crab and fish. I believe that was the main reason we couldn't fully enjoy the cruise.

Specifically, even though we were guided to our table at first, we waited a long time without receiving our welcome drinks, while drinks were served to those who arrived later. We were left waiting until we were parched. When the staff was serving food to the neighboring table, the tray she was holding came right over our heads, showing a lack of consideration, and we had to eat while worrying about whether it would spill on us. カニのお代わりを配る時も、子供の服や腕にポタポタと汁を垂らしながら配るのに、謝ることも一切なく小学生の息子も怒りだす始末。

ベルトラさんの対応（予約や料理の変更など）は、とても迅速で丁寧で申し分なかったのですが、この船には二度と乗ることはないと思います。

This time, since there were some people with small appetites, we opted for the buffet course only. Upon boarding the Star of Honolulu, we were first shown to our seats. There, cakes and coffee were prepared, along with a welcome drink. After departure, we were called in order to go get our meals.

The dining area was quite cramped, and we had to fit everything onto one plate. I wish I had known this in advance.

My first cruising dinner. I usually don't go much because I get seasick, but it did sway a bit. However, the food and live music made it enjoyable. This course includes three drinks, but since the portions are large, it might be better to order on the day rather than in advance. It's a double whammy with seasickness and alcohol ( ´д｀ll)
It was a fun time.

This is my second time participating in the sunset cruise, but last time we were hit by a typhoon and just went around in circles in the bay. This time, it was a revenge trip, blessed with good weather, and I thoroughly enjoyed the beautifully crafted hula performances. My first time in Hawaii. I heard from a local that "the sunset cruise is beautiful," so I decided to sign up for it.

The day I booked was a Friday, so I was able to see the fireworks from the Sheraton from the boat, which was lovely (I booked on Friday specifically for that).

I paid an amount that would be unthinkable in Japan for hotel transfers and securing a window seat (laughs), but since we had a window seat, it was just the two of us (if you don't book, you share a round table with about six people), and we could relax.

I wasn't expecting much from the food, but it was delicious, and we had a really fun time.

申し込みをした日は、金曜日だったので、シェラトンの花火も船上から見れて、綺麗でした（それを狙って金曜日に申込みました）。
ホテル間の送迎、窓際の席確保など、日本では考えられない金額を払いましたが（笑）、窓際だったので、自分たちだけの席で（申し込みをしていないと丸テーブルで6人ぐらいが相席？）、ゆっくりできました。

Anyway, the sunset was beautiful and it was the best location. The singing and dancing show was fun, and the food was delicious. Finally, dancing together with everyone from the tour became a wonderful memory.
