We used this service during our trip to Hawaii to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary.

Since it was during the Obon season, we made a reservation six months in advance through Alan1.net from Japan. We chose the window seat guaranteed couple plan with transportation included. One star.

We gathered at the back entrance of the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa at 4:30 PM. We took a large bus to Honolulu Harbor, where Aloha Tower is located.

We were welcomed by cast members and a hula dance before boarding the ship. The cast guided us to our reserved window seats. Our class was fully booked, and there were people from various nationalities.

The meal included steak and crab, but since we could change the crab to chicken when making the reservation, we opted for steak and chicken. I think that was the right choice. Those who chose the crab seemed to have a hard time eating it. The food was delicious.

The ship departed from Honolulu Harbor at 5:30 PM and headed towards Waikiki. The views of Diamond Head and the city of Waikiki from here were lovely. Perhaps due to the season, the ship's rocking was minimal.

It might have been because of the good weather and lack of clouds, but the sunset was surprisingly subtle. Still, it was great to see planes taking off from Honolulu Airport alongside the sunset, making the experience worthwhile.

Onboard, there were live songs and dance shows to keep the atmosphere lively. With the couple plan, the cast took commemorative photos with a DSLR camera and presented them nicely. This became a wonderful keepsake.

For couples, I highly recommend this experience!

料理はステーキ＆殻つきカニでしたが
予約の際にカニをチキンに変更できたのでステーキ＆チキンにしておきました。
これは正解だったと思います。
殻つきカニをチョイスされた方は食べ辛らそうでした。
料理は美味しかったです。

PM５：３０ホノルル港を出航した船はワイキキ沖へ向かいます。
ここから見えるダイアモンドヘッドやワイキキの街も素敵でした。
季節がらなのか船の揺れは少なかったです。

良い天気で雲がなかったからかもしれませんが
サンセットは意外とアッサリしてました。
それでも、ホノルル空港を飛び立つ飛行機とサンセットが一緒に見れるなど
利用して良かったと思います。

船内では、生歌とダンスショーで盛り上げてくれますし
カップルプラン利用では、キャストが一眼レフカメラで記念写真を撮ってくれ
ちゃんと装丁したうえでプレゼントしてくれます。
これはとても良い記念になりました。

While gazing at the shimmering Waikiki during sunset as the sun sets over the ocean, I was captivated by the beauty of the sunset. The meal was of the lowest rank, but the roast beef was delicious and all-you-can-eat. Before the tour bus arrived, I went directly to the boarding area and was the first to board, so naturally, I got a window seat! All other seats are shared. However, everyone can enjoy the sunset from the deck on the fourth floor.

Since my partner requested to go on a dinner cruise, we participated in the Star of Honolulu Sunset Dinner Cruise. I didn't have many good memories from dinner cruises at other beach resorts, but as expected in Hawaii, this one was much better than any I had experienced before. This time, I used the venue for a meal with family after the ceremony. My impression is that it was average. My suggestion take this event as your grand finale of your vacation, probably on the last day of your trip. Thanks so much hawaiian activities, they added Hanauma Bay trip as a extra bonus at no cost( but you need to pay for the entrance fee)which you can not missed! My family and I had a wonderful time.

I participated with my mother in her 60s. The interior of the Star of Honolulu was smaller than I expected, and the distance between tables was quite close. When I was picked up by the bus, there were only Japanese people, and I thought, "What a shame to come all the way to Hawaii for this." However, the attention to detail, the way they got everyone excited, and the enthusiastic service were absolutely delightful. The food was delicious, and the camaraderie and enthusiasm among the Japanese participants were fantastic! I really had a great time.

Beautiful views from the boat, areas on boat need work

My grandmother and I chose this as something different to do from the sightseeing and beach time we had been enjoying. The transportation is great even for those of us that are familiar with the island, and well worth the additional cost. The seating area is packed and truly would be more enjoyable with fewer people crammed in. The food and service were far better than expected and the "All You Can Eat" crab truly lives up to the name. The boat from an external view is beautiful and makes a striking appearance out on the open ocean. On the decks there are areas that could be maintained better, especially the areas that food is served from and are in plain view of guests. The top deck is amazing for catching sight of the city line and would be a great place to spend a romantic evening with a significant other. Overall this is something that I am glad we experienced and would be willing to take others on.

This was my second time participating. Last time it was a three-star experience. This time I tried a one-star, but I preferred the three-star. It must be the difference in price. The food wasn't that different, but the show was different. The three-star experience had more flair. However, the staff's smiles were great, and I was satisfied as I enjoyed my meal.

２度目の参加でした。前回は３スターでした。
今回は１スターにしてみましたが３スターの方が良かったです。やはり値段の違いでしょう。
料理はさほど違いは無かったですが、ショーが違ってましたね。
華やかさが３スターの方がありましたよ。
でもスタッフの笑顔がいいし、楽しんで食事が出来て満足でした。
