I participated on a Friday in February 2008. I love Hawaii and have been there many times, but this was the first time I felt so much like I was in a foreign country. No matter where I went, there were Japanese people, and even when I spoke in English, I was responded to in Japanese in Waikiki... but this tour was different. My husband and I participated, but everyone else was foreign.

All the staff were also foreign, but the captain had lived in Osaka before and spoke Japanese well. The others probably spoke only English, so I think it's good to be able to speak at least a little English. It's really fun to be able to talk with other guests too.

Also, a jacket is absolutely essential! Other foreign guests were fine in sleeveless tops, but my husband, who usually gets hot easily, was freezing.

The sunset and fireworks were beautifully visible, and I was very satisfied.

By the way, the crew was full of handsome guys.

2008年2月の金曜日に参加しました。
ハワイは好きで何度も行っていますが・・こんなに外国を
感じたのは初めてでした。
どこへ行っても日本人がいて、英語で話しても日本語で
返されるワイキキ・・でもこのツアーは違いました。
夫婦で参加したのですが、他の方はすべて外国人でした。

スタッフも全て外国人でしたが、キャプテンが以前に
大阪に住んでいたそうで、日本語が上手でした。
それ以外の方は恐らく英語オンリーなので、
やはり多少でも英語が話せるといいと思います。
他のお客さんとも話せると、とっても楽しいですよ。

それから上着は絶対必須！です。
他の外国人の方々は平気でノースリーブでいましたが、
普段暑がりの旦那も凍えてました。

サンセットも花火もキレイに見えて大満足。

余談ですが、クルーはイケメン揃いです。

We participated as a couple. We were the only Japanese people there. In Hawaii, where there are mostly Japanese, I felt a sense of "foreignness." The female bartender was also sexy, and the food was decent and good. Above all, I felt like I was on my own cruiser, which was the best part. I've been to Hawaii over 30 times, and each time I always experience "Hawaii for the first time."

I participated with my mother and husband on September 16, 2007. I was worried because I had read in past experiences that the meeting place was hard to find, but I found it right away.

I've been to Hawaii quite a few times, but it was my first time seeing Waikiki from the ocean, and it was very refreshing and truly beautiful. The main sunset was also wonderful, and it was a moment where I could forget the busy days in Japan.

On that day, there were only about 12 guests in total, including the five groups, and we were the only three Japanese people, which made it feel relaxed and homey, which was even better.

The conversations with the crew and other passengers, as well as the simple orientation that takes place right after boarding (like how to handle a situation if you fall into the sea and introductions of the crew), are all in English, so it might be a bit tough for those who can't speak at all.

2007年9月16日に母親と主人と3人で参加しました。
過去の体験談で集合場所が分かりにくいと書いてあったので
心配したのですが、すぐに分かりました。

ハワイにはかなり行っていますが、
沖からワイキキを見るのは初めてだったので
とても新鮮で本当にキレイでした。メインの
サンセットも素晴らしくて、忙しい日本での毎日を
忘れられるひと時でした。
当日は、私たちを含めて5組計12人くらいのお客さんしか
おらず（日本人は我々3人のみ）、ゆったりとアットホームな感じだったのも更に良かったです。

乗組員、他の乗客との会話はもちろん、乗船後すぐに
行われる簡単なオリエンテーション
（万が一、海に落ちた場合にどう対処すべきかとか
乗組員の紹介など）は全て英語なので、全く話せない
方は少し辛いかもしれませんね。

We went on our honeymoon. I thought it was wonderful that we could see fireworks from the ship, so I made a reservation. However, we were very hungry as soon as we got on the ship and started eating a lot of spring rolls, and about 15 minutes after departure, my husband started to feel seasick... What was supposed to be a lovely fireworks cruise turned into me taking care of him as he felt unwell and cold. For those who are going, I recommend bringing seasickness medication and a jacket! With those, I believe it will definitely become a wonderful memory.

There’s no experience quite like sailing on the dark waters of Oahu after sunset! I took your advice and brought a jacket. That was a great decision! At first, it was so warm that I thought I wouldn’t need it, but it got cold at night. For adult couples, it’s lovely to chat on the slowly moving boat. There was quite a bit of time before the fireworks, so I found myself eagerly waiting… Before the fireworks, they turned off the boat's lights, which felt quite mysterious. It was surprising how hard it was to see other boats, almost like Captain Jack Sparrow had appeared! The crew was friendly. The netting was scarier than I expected, so no one really wanted to go on it… but once you’re on, it feels amazing! I was careful not to lose my flip-flops, but it was definitely worth it to sit down! Lying back and relaxing, my husband seemed satisfied while enjoying a drink and smoking a cigarette. The fireworks were beautiful too! And the moment they unfurled the sails was incredibly cool!

日が沈んでからの暗いオアフの海上を走るなんて経験はこれ以外ないでしょう！アドバイスどおり上着をもっていきましたよ。大正解！初めは暑いくらいで上着いらなかったなーっておもったら夜は寒い。おとなのカップルならゆっくりと進む船の上で語り合うのも素敵ですよ。花火が上がるまでかなり時間があるので、まだかまだかと首が長くなりましたが・・花火前には船の電気を消すのでまた不思議な感じ。ジャックスパロウ出てきたかと思うくらい他の船も見えにくくなっててっびっくり　クルーの方はフレンドリーですね。あみ網の上は思った以上に怖くてみんな乗らなかったけど・・乗っちゃえばすごく気持ちイーよっビーサンが落ちないように気を使ったけど　気持ちいいよっ絶対座ってみるべき！ねころがったりしてみたりっ旦那は御酒を飲みながらタバコがすえたので満足そうでした。花火も綺麗に見えましたよ！あとっあの船の帆を出すときがたまらなくかっこよい！

I have taken several sunset dinner cruises in the past, but I was getting a bit bored with the early dinners and the lively hula and live performances. However, I couldn't miss the tradition of watching the sunset from the sea on the last day, so I found this activity while searching. As mentioned in the reviews, besides our family, there was only one other couple from Japan.

The light snacks served for dinner were first come, first served, including wrap rolls, small Vietnamese spring rolls, and pound cake for dessert. However, since there was an unlimited amount relative to the number of people, our family, who wasn't very hungry, leisurely enjoyed the scenery and ended up missing out, getting only one piece of wrap roll each. However, we were all very satisfied with this cruise, which allowed us to directly feel the Hawaiian breeze on the yacht's deck, rather than eating a not-so-tasty lobster and steak dinner on a cruise. Since it was Friday night, we were also able to see the regular Hilton fireworks from the sea. The crew was all friendly and it was wonderful. I recommend this for Hawaii repeaters. We boarded on August 31, but it gets chilly at night, so a light jacket is necessary. Next time, I want to enjoy a daytime sailing.

夕食として出る軽食は早い者勝ちで、ラップロールや小さなベトナム春巻き、デザートにパウンドケーキが出ていましたが、人数分の割りに取り放題になっているので、お腹が空いていなかったのでのんびり風景を眺めていた我家族は取り損ね、ラップロールを一切れずつになってしまいました。しかし、おいしくもないロブスター＆ステーキのディナーをうやうやしく食べるクルーズより、直接HAWAIIの風をヨットのデッキで受けるこのクルーズに家族全員大満足です。金曜日の夜だったので恒例のヒルトンの花火も海上から見る事ができました。クルーが皆フレンドリーで最高でした。HAWAIIリピーターにお薦めです。８月３１日の乗船でしたが、夜は冷えます。上に羽織る物が必要でした。今度は昼のセイリングを楽しみたいです。

The clear blue sky and intense sunlight made for a refreshing experience as the catamaran dynamically raced through the waters of Hawaii! The high speed was incomparable to a large ship's dinner cruise, and we sped through the high waves without a care! It's amazing that we're moving just with the sails!

Viewing Waikiki Beach from the sea and seeing Diamond Head from the back offered new discoveries. I got to experience the differently shaped Diamond Head as well.

The captain and crew were quite handsome! They didn't pay much attention to the guests, but it felt refreshingly foreign. There were only about two groups of Japanese guests, with mostly Westerners on board.

For those who are sensitive to the boat, I think it's best to enjoy the sea on the deck first, avoiding the sun and not eating beforehand, and then enjoy drinks after getting used to it.

A big wave suddenly hit us, soaking us from head to toe, but I was fine since I was wearing quick-drying clothes.

In the second half, we were thrilled to encounter a pod of dolphins. It's incredible how they swim alongside the boat! I participated in a tour where I swam with dolphins in the sea, but it was too fast to see them well. The catamaran was so fast that the dolphins desperately kept up with us, almost playing with us. I had a blast with a Latin family. I want to ride again!

On the way back, we had a leisurely shopping and dining experience at the Ward Center right in front of the port, making for a fulfilling day.

大型船のディナークルーズとは比べものにならないほどのハイスピードで高波もなんのその！どんどん駆け抜けていきました。これが帆だけで進んでるんだから風ってすごい！
ワイキキビーチを海から眺め、ダイヤモンドヘッドを裏側から見ると新たな発見。形の違うダイヤモンドヘッドも体験できました。
キャプテンもクルー達も男前！お客をろくに構ってくれないけど結構サッパリした感じで外国って感じで良かった。お客さんも日本人は２組くらいで殆んど欧米かって感じ。
ただ船に弱い人は、日差しを避けて日陰にいたり、食事を先にとったりしないで、まずは甲板で海を楽しんで、馴れた後に飲物を楽しんだりすればいいと思いました。
大きな波が突然来て頭から被っちゃいましたが、乾きやすい服装だったのでＯＫでした。
後半にイルカの群れに逢えて感動。イルカってあんなに船に並走するんですね。イルカと海の中で一緒に泳ぐツアーにも参加したけど速くてよく見れなかった。その点カタマラン号はすごく速いから、イルカも必死でついて来るって言うか、じゃれてきた。ラテン系の家族と一緒に大はしゃぎでした。また乗りたいです。
帰りは、ポートの目の前のワードセンターでゆっくり買い物して食事もできるので、充実した一日になりました。

We participated as a couple. This was our third time in Hawaii and our first time sailing. About 80% of the participants were foreigners. The sunset was somewhat cloudy, but it was refreshing to sail with the wind. We enjoyed the night view of downtown Honolulu from the sea, and the fireworks were beautiful. The meal was just light snacks. It's advisable to prepare motion sickness medication and a jacket. Overall, it's more of an activity with an adult atmosphere.

　夫婦で参加しました。ハワイは３度目で、セーリングは初めて。周りは外国人が８割ぐらいでした。やや雲の多いサンセットでしたが、風に乗って走るのは爽快でした。ホノルル市街の夜景を海から眺め、花火もきれいでした。食事は軽食程度です。酔い止め、上着は準備しておいたほうがよいです。どちらかというと、大人向けの雰囲気のあるアクティビティです。

Since it was a sunset sailing on Friday, I was supposed to see fireworks, but we drifted in the best position for over 20 minutes past the scheduled launch time, and ultimately, the fireworks for that day were canceled. It wasn't the fault of the Makani, but due to the Hilton's circumstances, so I was very disappointed since I was looking forward to it.

Additionally, I had to wait nearly 30 minutes for the pickup. I became worried and inquired several times. The inquiries were only handled in English, so it might be difficult for those who are not good at English. It might be better to take a taxi to the pickup point by yourself.

The staff on the Makani were friendly, which was nice. About 20% of the passengers were Japanese.

I decided to participate in watching the Hilton fireworks from a boat on Friday. We walked from Ala Moana to the meeting point, which was just under 2 km (about 20 minutes), so I think it would be better for those who are not confident in their physical fitness, have small children, or are elderly to take a taxi. The ticket booth is in a yellow building right next to Fisherman's Wharf.

While walking in Waikiki, I thought, "Is this Japan?" because there were so many Japanese people, but as the reviews said, there were actually few Japanese, and about 70% were foreigners. Naturally, there was no explanation in Japanese from the crew.

Once we set sail and headed out to sea from Waikiki, the sunset was incredibly beautiful. It was a breathtaking sight. However, after the sun went down, it became quite challenging. It was cool... or rather, cold!!! Even though I was wearing a hoodie, I got so cold that I neglected the beautiful night view of Waikiki and ended up retreating to the cabin. The captain was also wearing a fleece and windbreaker partway through, and some foreign women were wearing knit cardigans. I recommend preparing for the cold!

We didn't particularly mind the rocking of the boat, but if you're prone to motion sickness, taking anti-nausea medication is a must. There were indeed some people who got seasick.

Despite everything I've written, the most disappointing part was that there were no fireworks, which were supposed to be the main event. While that can't be helped, there was no explanation about it during the trip, and at the end, we only heard, "I'm sorry we couldn't show you the fireworks today." I thought there could have been a bit more explanation. On the other hand, if you are fluent in English, you could have asked for the reason.

Overall, it's a good activity to enjoy the atmosphere, but you definitely need to prepare for the cold, have anti-nausea medication, and have a bit of language skills!

金曜日のヒルトンの花火を船上で見ようと思い参加しました。
私たちはアラモアナから歩いて集合場所まで行きましたが、
距離にして2Ｋｍ弱（20分位）あったので、
体力に自信の無い方や小さなお子さん、高齢の方がいる場合はタクシーを利用された方が良いと思います。
チケットブースはフィッシャーマンズワーフのすぐそばにある黄色の建物です。

ワイキキを歩いていると『日本か～』と思うほど日本人が
溢れ返っていますが、
口コミ通り日本人は少なく、７割方外国の方でした。
当然クルーからは全く日本語での説明がありません。

出航し、ワイキキの沖へ出ると
とーってもキレイな夕日が☆
感動的な光景でした。
･･･と、最初のうちは良かったのですが、
日が落ちてからが大変。
涼しい･･･というか、さ、寒い！！！
私はパーカーを羽織っていたにもかかわらず、
ワイキキの綺麗な夜景もおざなりになるほど冷えてしまい、
キャビンに引きこもってしまいました。
キャプテンも途中からフリース＆ウィンドブレーカーを
着ていたし、外国の女性の方はニットのカーディガンを
着ている方もいました（Θ щ Θ）
防寒対策をしていくことをオススメします！

船のゆれも私たちは特に気になりませんでしたが、
乗り物に弱い方は酔い止め必須です。
やっぱり船酔いしてる方もいました。

なんだかんだ書き込みさせて頂きましたが、
何より残念だったのはメインの筈の花火がなかったことです。
それは仕方のないことですが、
その説明が途中一切無く、
最後降り際に「今日は花火が見せられずに申し訳ない」と
一言あっただけでした。
もう少し説明があっても良さそうだなと思いました。
逆に英語が堪能であれば理由も聞けたんですけどね。

総じて雰囲気を楽しむには良いアクティビティですが、
寒さ対策と酔い止め、若干の語学力は必須です！

Seeing the fireworks from the boat was my first experience, and it was amazing. It was truly a prime seat. The sunset was also incredibly beautiful.

While my husband and I were taking pictures of each other, people around us were friendly and engaged, which added to the pleasant atmosphere on the boat. Additionally, we were lucky enough to see dolphins along the way!

However, there were way too many people! There were so many that not everyone could find a seat (we had to sit by the stairs because there were no seats available), which felt a bit overcrowded. I also heard that they provided safety instructions in Japanese, but perhaps due to the crowd, that didn't happen. I understood most of what was being said, so I was fine, but those who can't speak Japanese might feel a bit anxious.

It might have been because it was a Friday, but I think it would have been perfect if there were fewer people. The boat sways quite a bit, so it's a good idea to take motion sickness medication beforehand.

船上から見る花火は初体験だったので、すごく良かったです。正に特等席でした☆夕日もすごくキレイでした。
主人と２人で写真を撮り合っていたら周りにいる方が声をかけてくれたりと、船上の雰囲気も良かったと思います。
あとラッキーにも途中でイルカが見れました♪
ただ、人が多すぎです！全員が席に着けないくらい人が多くて（私たちは席がなかったので階段の脇に座ってました）詰め込みすぎってイメージです。また書き込みでは日本語で注意事項の説明をしてくれたって事でしたが、人が多かったせいかそれもありませんでした。私はだいたい言ってる事は分かるので大丈夫でしたが、英語が話せない方はちょっと心配になるかも知れないです。
金曜だから仕方がないのかもしれませんが、もう少し人が少なかったら最高だったと思います。
船はかなり揺れるので、酔い止めは飲んでおいたほうが良いですね。

We visit Hawaii almost every year with my husband, but this time we participated in the Makani cruise for the first time.

It became a wonderful memory. The sunset was beautiful, and the night view of Honolulu while waiting for the fireworks was also great.

Just being out at sea, feeling the wind, and enjoying the cruise was a luxurious and lovely moment.

As time passed with the sunset and night view, the couples participating (including us) became more intimate, which was nice.

I participated for the first time. I was looking forward to it because I heard great things from others.

I joined because it wasn't as extravagant as a dinner cruise, and I had participated in a dinner cruise before.

I prepared it as a little hidden gift for my girlfriend, and it was a complete success!!

Being out at sea and feeling the wind during the cruise was refreshing and helped me forget about everyday worries.

The sunset was especially beautiful after it had set, and we had a wonderful time together. While waiting for the fireworks with the night view of Honolulu, we relaxed.

I think the price is reasonable and I highly recommend it. I would like to participate again.

P.S. Taking motion sickness medication was definitely the right choice.

I had an amazing time!
There weren't any staff who spoke Japanese, but the captain could speak a little, and there was another person who spoke broken Japanese and always checked in and talked to us, which made it enjoyable.

The boat was really rocking, and my friend got seasick, but I think it would be fine if you take motion sickness medication beforehand.

Everyone was friendly, and the wind felt great. The sunset was incredibly beautiful, and the fireworks that started at 8 PM afterward were lovely!

The snacks were limited in variety, but they were quite tasty.

All the staff were friendly, and I had a fantastic time!

I definitely want to use this service again.

It gets cold at night, so I think it's a good idea to bring a jacket.

I initially hoped to book for Friday night, but as I relaxed, it filled up. When I reserved the morning tour, I received a cancellation email after they had already processed my registration. I felt frustrated and thought about canceling the tour altogether, but my desire to ride on a yacht was strong. I decided to go, accepting that the afternoon sun would be intense. Once we set sail, the captain's playful spirit made for a fun experience, and most of the people at the front ended up soaked. I had a great time! If I had managed to book the evening tour, I could have enjoyed the fireworks and sunset. Next time, I will book earlier. I definitely recommend it!

申し込みの時には、金曜の夜が希望だったのですが、のんびりしているうちに埋まってしまい、午前のツアーを予約したら一度は受付していただいたのに、突然キャンセルのメールが来て、何だ~詳しくキャンセルの事情ぐらい説明しろよ~・・・（プンプン）みたいな気分で一時はもうツアーは止めようか~みたいになったのですが、やっぱりヨットに乗ってみたい~というのが強くて、まあ午後からの日差しがきつくてもしょうがないから行ってみるか~程度で行ってみたんですが、いざ出航してみたら船長のいたずら心一杯の内容で前方にいた殆どがずぶ濡れになったりで、十分に楽しめましたよ~
これが夕方からのツアーが取れていたら、花火もサンセットも楽しめたのに~と、

We were the only Japanese people there, and even though we had an 8-month-old baby with us, he slept well, probably because of the gentle rocking. So we took turns going outside to enjoy the scenery of Waikiki, the breeze, the ocean, and the fireworks. The light snacks were delicious, especially the wrap sandwiches, and there were also cookies and chocolate brownies. My sister tends to get motion sickness, but she was fine as long as she stayed on the outdoor deck. If you sit in the chairs inside for too long, you might feel nauseous... The wind was stronger and colder than I expected, so I recommend bringing a warm jacket rather than just a light cover-up.

I participated on June 14.

When I arrived, I was instructed to register my contact information with the toll-free number, but it was constantly busy and I couldn't get through at all. Is there only one line available? I could reach the operator, but it wasn't a toll-free number and was only in English, so I wish they could be more reachable.

I'm not sure what the basis is for saying it's a 10-minute walk from Ala Moana Center. To be honest, it's impossible to arrive in 10 minutes. If you choose not to use the shuttle, I recommend allowing extra time for your participation. It would definitely be better to have a simple map in addition to just the text. We used the trolley and got off at Ward Warehouse, but we were a bit lost for a while. Anyway, since it's a cruise, I thought it would be on the seaside, and when I found the landmark, Fisherman's Restaurant, I felt relieved. Once you find the restaurant, you can see the cruise ship nearby, and the ticket booth is also close.

レストランを見つけられたら、もうすぐそばにクルーズ船も見えますしチケットブースもそばにあります。

クルーズに関しては大満足。
参加は私たち２人と日本人ファミリー１組、外国人ファミリー１組、外国人カップル１組と少なかったです。その分、船のいろいろなところで景色を楽しめましたし、スタッフともたくさんお話できて良かったです。
スタッフの方はとてもフレンドリーで気さくに声をかけてくださり、盛り上げてくれますよ。ただ、のんびりと静かにサンセットを楽しもうとしていると船酔いしてるのかな？と心配して何度も声を掛けてこられます・・・

食事は人数が少なかったから？か、本当にスナック程度。
カラーマカロニのサラダ、揚げ春巻き、春巻き風のサンドイッチが２種類、それと噂のクッキーでした。クッキーおいしいですよ。甘いのが苦手な方はどうかな？
サンドイッチもあっさりとして日本人の口にも合います。
ドリンクはクルーズオリジナルのカクテルとソフトドリンク。２杯無料券で充分かなと思います。カクテルは大きなカップになみなみと入れてくれました。ミネラルウォーターはボトルで１本くれます。
エンジンの音や匂いも少なく、多少波が強いところもありましたが船酔いはしませんでした。大きい船よりこのくらいの規模の方がいいのかもしれないですね。

It was our first yacht experience as a couple! The weather was great! The boat didn’t sway as much as we expected (but those who are prone to seasickness might need motion sickness medication…). We comfortably arrived off the coast of Honolulu! The snacks on board were delicious, and the staff was attentive! However, they can't speak Japanese fluently! The beautiful sea and pleasant sounds... the sea breeze felt so nice that I dozed off. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see any marine life, but I thoroughly enjoyed the blue waters of Hawaii. Night cruises are great, but the daytime sea really captures the essence of Hawaii. Listening to Hawaiian music on the boat is wonderful. I even stopped by a CD shop on the way back.

I participated with my mother. We were the only Japanese people there, but everyone was very kind and spoke to my mother in broken Japanese, which was thoughtful of them. It wasn't too cold, and the beautiful sunset and fireworks were stunning. They docked in the best spot to see the fireworks. I recommend going on a Friday! There was no shuttle service, so we took a round-trip taxi, which cost about $13 to $15 to Waikiki (including tip).

I participated on November 3rd. It took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to walk from the zoo to the location. There were a total of 5 groups with 13 participants that day. I participated on October 18th. The weather was cloudy but sunny, and I was able to fully enjoy the sunset. The light of the sunset reflected on the clouds, creating a very magical view. Unfortunately, the wind was weak, so we cruised using only the engine instead of sailing, but I still had a great time. The captain mentioned that it would have been more exciting with wind. The boat had carbon parts used throughout, including the steering, and it was equipped with GPS navigation for autopilot. It was a new boat, less than a year old, and very clean. Each person received two drink tickets, and there were three types of food (fried spring rolls, salad, and vegetable or chicken wraps) along with cookies, all of which were tasty. After leaving the harbor, we gradually transitioned from sunset to twilight, and afterward, we enjoyed the night view of Waikiki from the sea. The staff were cheerful and friendly, well-versed in handling seasickness, and the captain had experience staying in Japan, speaking Japanese well. 10/18に参加しました。コンディションとしては雲はありましたが晴れていて、夕日は十分に堪能出来ました。夕日の光が雲に写りとても幻想的な景色を楽しめました。残念ながら風が弱くセイリングではなく、エンジンのみでのクルージングでしたが十分に楽しめました。船長さんは、風があればもっとエキサイティングだよと言ってましたが。船は、舵をはじめとしていたるところにカーボンパーツを使用してあり、GPSナビでの自動操縦が出来たり、船自体出来てから１年たってなくてとても清潔感ある新しい船でした。ドリンクはチケットが一人二枚までもらえて、フードは３種類（揚げ春巻き、サラダ、野菜やチキンの巻物）とクッキーがあって味も良かったです。港を出て、徐々に夕焼けからサンセットをむかえ、その後は海からのワイキキの夜景も楽しめます。スタッフの方々も、明るく気さくで船酔いの対処も慣れていて、船長さんは日本滞在暦もある方で、日本語も上手、大きな船のクルージングとは一味違った、一言で言えば、知人の船に乗せてもらったような感覚のアットホームなクルージングでした。

Recently, I participated in my first trip to Hawaii with a friend. At first, we had a hard time finding the meeting place (it was farther than we thought), and I was worried we might not make it in time while dashing to the departure. However, the staff was waiting for us and welcomed us warmly.

Also, since it was Friday, we got to see not only the sunset and night view but also fireworks launched from Hilton H., which was truly wonderful.
I highly recommend this for those who want to experience the Hawaiian vibe and enjoy a different Honolulu from the Japanese-dominated Waikiki!

つい先日、友人と初Hawaiiで参加しました。
初めは集合場所がなかなか見つからず（思ったよりも遠い…）ダッシュしながら出港に間に合わないかと心配しましたが、スタッフの方達が私達を待っていてくれ、暖かく向かえてました。

また、金曜日だったので夕日＆夜景のみならずHilton H.から打ち上げられる花火も見れて、本当にステキでした。
Hawaiian気分を味わいたい方、日本人だらけのワイキキとは違ったホノルルを楽しみたい方には是非ぜひお勧めでっす！

Recently, I participated in a catamaran cruise during my first trip to Hawaii. First of all, it was a super cheap tour at $7.77, but it didn't include transportation, so I used THE BUS (which costs $2 one way). I had some sense of direction since I had been to the Ward Center the day before, but it might be a bit confusing if you go there for the first time. (I took the bus from Kuhio Avenue since my hotel was Sheraton Waikiki.)

Overall, the cruise was a fun experience. However, I was feeling a bit seasick, so I couldn't fully enjoy it, which was disappointing. There were staff members who spoke Japanese, so I didn't have any language issues. They were friendly and made an effort to engage with us, so if you try to enjoy yourself, I definitely recommend this cruise over others that have larger groups. If you're prone to seasickness, I suggest taking motion sickness medication in advance.

先日、初めてのハワイ旅行でカタマラン号のクルーズに参加してきました。まず、７．７７ドルの激安ツアーで送迎つきではなかったので、ＴＨＥ　ＢＵＳ（片道２ドル）を利用しました。ただ、前日にワードセンターに行っていたので方向感覚がありましたが、いきなり行くと分かりづらいかも。。（宿泊ホテルはシェラトンワイキキだったので、クヒオ通りからバスにのりました。）
クルーズ全体は、楽しい印象です。ただ、私自身が船酔いをしかかっていたため、十分に満喫できなかったのが残念です。日本語を話せるスタッフもいたので、言葉の問題は特に感じませんでした。フレンドリーですし、気を遣って話しかけてくれるので、自分から楽しもうとすれば、他の団体が参加するクルーズよりも断然お勧めかと思います。船に弱い方は、ぜひ事前に酔い止めを飲んでおくとよいと思います。

I participated in the campaign. Since there was no shuttle service, I took a taxi in the morning. It cost about $15 including the tip. I saw a review saying someone walked from Waikiki, but I think that distance would be quite tough to walk. There were nine participants, including us. Only two of them were Japanese women. The captain speaks Japanese well, so I don't think there will be any worries. The boat is also clean. I heard we would get wet, so I wore a swimsuit, but even though I was on the net, I didn't get wet at all (^^;). On that day, we didn't see any dolphins or flying fish... However, since I was able to participate at such a low price, I have no complaints. The wind felt really nice~☆

キャンペーンで参加しました。
送迎がなかったので、朝はタクシーで行きました。
チップ込みで＄１５ほどです。
ワイキキから歩っていったというレビューをみましたが、あの距離は歩くにはつときついかと思われます。
参加者は私達を含め９人でした。
日本人は女性組２人のみです。
キャプテンは日本語が達者なので、不安はないかと思います。
舟も綺麗です。
濡れるとの事でしたので、水着で行きましたが、ネットの上にいたにもかかわらず、
全く濡れませんでした（＾＾；）
この日は、イルカも飛び魚も見れませんでした・・・
ただ、激安値段で参加出来たのですから、文句は無いです。
すっごく風が気持ちよかったですよ~☆

I was lucky to participate for the unbelievable price of $7.77. I really wanted to see dolphins, so my friend and I made a reservation over two days. However, due to the circumstances of the Makani, the second day was changed to a sunset cruise! Unfortunately, we didn't see any dolphins on the first day, but the sunset on the second day was breathtaking! It was quite fast-paced, so we got splashed with water, and it was very thrilling and fun. Above all, the crew members were all really nice, making for an enjoyable cruising experience.^^

＄7.77という信じられない料金で参加できてラッキーでした。
なんとしてもイルカが見たい！ということで、
２人で２日間かけて予約をとったのですが、
マカニ号様の都合により２日目はなんとサンセットクルーズに変更！
１日目はイルカちゃんは残念ながら見れなかったけど、
２日目のサンセットは絶景！
結構ハイスピードなので水もばっさばっさ浴びて、
かなりスリリングでおもしろかったです。
それになんといってもクルーの皆さんがとってもいい方たちばっかりで、
楽しいクルージングでした^^
