Super romantic for our honeymoon! Great drinks and pleasantly surprising food! Super fresh food and lots of options! The roast beef was by far my favorite! The hosts were very accommodating and did everything they could in their power to make us feel special! After dinner show was also very entertaining and fun to watch. Everything else was a bonus because the sunset was the real star of the show! Take as many pics as you can!

Anniversary Sunset Cruise

The pickup was quick and efficient and comfortable from the bus tour company. The guide told us what to expect before we arrived and showed a safety video while we were driving. From there we were escorted to the boat. Then swiftly seated at our table. The inside of the ship was very nice and tables were set and ready to receive us. We were right next to the stage. The live music was awesome and our entertainment was nonstop from a ukulele Hawaiian singer to Jazz saxophone player with a singer, then an amazing array of traditional Hawaiian dancers that brought excitement and energy to the cruise. The day went was Friday so the captain stayed out longer for the Fireworks at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. (Caution if you get motion sickness take precautions Dramamine or motion sickness bands are a must. No joke) It was our wedding anniversary we had the best time and the lobster and steak were amazing.

The ship was almost full, mainly with tourists from the mainland United States. It was Friday night, and the fireworks from the beach near the Hilton Hotel were beautiful, even if just for a short time. The food was plentiful, with a buffet of fruits and cheeses as well as course meals, which was great, but unfortunately, the tables were small and the spacing between seats was cramped, which was disappointing. You can easily go outside to see the ocean, so I don't think it's necessary to request a seat with an ocean view. Two drink tickets are included, but there were few waitresses, and if you're not careful, you might miss ordering your second drink. I did give a tip, but hardly anyone around me was tipping.

丁度金曜日の夜でヒルトンホテル辺りの海岸からの花火が短時間ですが綺麗でした。

私は一応チップを渡しましたが、周りほとんど渡している人は居ませんでした。

Our servers at the event made a huge difference. Although busy, they were attentive to the guests.

Table setting was elegant. Flowers decorating the meals were beautiful. Didn’t enjoy the drinks as much. Lava flow did not taste right.

The dinner cruise is worth it. We had the crab legs, steak, and bbq chicken. The crab legs were a little small, but everything else was very tasty. I would recommend this activity and may do it again if I go back to Oahu. The entertainment was also great and enjoyable to watch. The staff on board was also friendly and attentive.

From the moment we boarded the ship, we were welcomed with dancing, and all the staff greeted us warmly! When they asked about our drinks for the toast, I couldn't catch the English right away, but they kindly used a translation app to help me. Their flexible and friendly service was impressive.

We chose the lowest-ranked buffet course, but all the food was delicious! However, the cake was very sweet, typical of American desserts, so I mostly ate fruit.

Listening to Hawaiian music while watching the sunset over the calm sea made for a perfect memory, and I was able to take lots of photos.

I participated in the 3-star course on the day of the fireworks on Friday. I also signed up for the window-side option and commemorative photos.

The dishes are served in order. I joined after seeing a comment that "the plates were taken away while I was taking pictures of the sunset," but if you time it right, that won't happen.

There was also a comment about the shrimp being watery, but I didn't particularly feel that way.

As the start time for the fireworks approaches, everything starts moving at once, so it's a good idea to get there a bit early. You can't see from behind the Americans. However, the duration is shorter than Japanese fireworks festivals (10-15 minutes?), and since it's from a distance, the impact is somewhat lacking.

As it gets closer to the end, it turns into disco time, with female staff bursting into dance, creating a lively atmosphere.

The instructions mentioned that "the fee does not include tips," so I was prepared for that, but I didn't find the right moment to give one.

Near the exit, you can take commemorative photos with a male and female hula dance pair (free). It became a nice memory.

I received two free drink tickets per person. I ordered a drink, but after waiting for many minutes because they were busy, they brought me something without any decorations like flowers. When I tried to use the second ticket, they refused me while speaking rapidly in English. I thought maybe it was already last call and was about to give up when they started taking orders from other guests. I pressed them on why they didn't take my order, but I couldn't understand what they were saying at all. I did receive the ticket, but in the end, they never brought me my drink. It might be due to a staff shortage after COVID, but I think they have the worst staff. Previously, when I participated in a countdown cruise with Five Star, the service was exceptional, but this time, instead of enjoying myself, I felt discriminated against and it made me sad.

It was just okay. Boarding went quickly and was fairly organized. You weren't too crowded in the dining room, however it was HOT. They need fans. We were sitting on the sunset side on the outside and the sun was in my face the entire meal. Between the sun, heat and movement of the boat I was miserable. I don't normally get seasick, but combined with the extreme heat and lack of breeze I felt like crap. I couldn't wait to get up top where there was a breeze.
The buffet had what was advertised, but it was a minimal selection. In my opinion it left something to be desired, I didn't even eat one plate. The desserts were okay, the fruit was fresh. The wait staff was friendly and efficient.
We did have a spectacular sunset and it is amazing to see from the ship. We missed most of the entertainment because I needed to be up where there was a breeze but people seemed to be enjoying themselves. We went on Friday to see the fireworks. There were so many people topside that we couldn't stand on the side of the ship you needed to be on to watch them. (You want to be on the right side.) We wound up going back to our seats (2nd level) and had a perfect view of the end of the fireworks display. Overall I couldn't wait for the evening to end so I could get off the ship and get into the air conditioning. Personally I would not go again, but as I said a lot of people did seem to be enjoying themselves. I should mention, I'm not overweight, so that is not why I was so hot, they really need fans in those lower areas. Had I not been so miserable because of the heat I may have had a better experience.

The meeting place was quite far from the hotel, so I thought it might have been better to include round-trip transportation, but I managed with a taxi. On the way there, the road was congested, and I was worried about whether I would make it on time, plus the transportation costs were high, so if you're concerned, you should consider arranging for transportation. On the way back, it wasn't crowded, so it ended up being cheaper (^^).

It was unfortunate that the space between the tables was narrow and felt cramped, but the food was delicious, and having a whole lobster was very impressive! It was tasty!

We used this for the celebration of my parents' longevity (3 people). From departure to return, both the meals and programs were fulfilling, and we had a wonderful time without getting bored at all.

* One person used a wheelchair, but since they could walk a little, we used the regular pickup bus. Upon boarding, we were able to use the elevator preferentially to take our seats.
* The tenderloin steak seems to be part of the regular menu. Since we were a group of five, we included fish (we had the sautéed tuna with butter) in the menu, but I think the steak was the right choice. The fish was also delicious, but the tenderloin was like a filet steak and very tasty (overall, there was nothing that wasn't delicious).
* We boarded on Friday night, and the fireworks from the Hilton were quite impressive. By the way, you might want to choose seats on the ocean side, but the fireworks only go off from one side. If you're not on that side, it will be hard to see (since the fireworks are high, you won't see the whole display), so it might be better to not pay extra for seats and instead step away during the fireworks and sunset to enjoy the view before returning.
* In the show, the jazz part was good, but the Polynesian dance was really great. Even when the ship arrived, it was still ongoing. The finale was a fun, participatory moment for everyone. By the way, if you sit on the ocean side of the stage, it might be hard to see. The opposite side might offer a better view, but there is a chance you could miss out, so it might be best to stay in the middle without paying extra.

In Hawaii, due to the weak yen, everything tends to be expensive, but considering the meals and program content, I think this is a good option.

＊一人車椅子の利用だったのですが、少し歩けたので、通常のピックアップバスを利用させていただきました。乗船時は優先的にエレベーターを利用して着席させていただきました。
＊テンダーロインステーキが通常メニューのようです。5名での参加であったので、魚（頂いたのはツナバターソテー）もメニューに入れたのですが、ステーキが正解かと思います。魚も美味しかったのですが、テンダーロインがフィレステーキのようで、とても美味しかったです（全体的に、美味しくないのはありませんでした）。
＊金曜日の夜に乗船したのですが、ヒルトンから上がる花火はなかなかのものでした。ちなみに、座席を海側にしたくなりますが、あがるのは片側からのみです。そちらでなければ、見えにくい（花火の高さがあるいので、全体は見えない）となりますので、追加で座席にお金を払わず、花火のタイミング、サンセットのタイミングで離席し、景色を楽しんでから戻るのが良いかもしれません。
＊ショーにおいて、ジャズのパートも良かったのですが、ポリネシアンダンスがとても良かったです。船が着いても、まだ終わってませんでした。最後は全員参加型の盛り上がりで楽しかったです。ちなみに座席は、舞台サイドの海側に座ると見えにくくなります。反対側だと見やすいかもしれませんが、外れる可能性もありますので、追加料金を払わず、真ん中で良いかもしれませんね。

ハワイでは円安もあり、全てが高額になりがちですが、食事及びプログラム内容から、悪くない選択肢かと思います。

Go on a Friday to catch the Friday night fireworks sponsored by Hilton Hawaiian Village. Usually after dinner is done, and while the performers entertain, guests usually hangout by the side rail outside the dining area, or at the top deck to get good seating/viewing spots until the fireworks. Otherwise, food was mediocre good (we had the crab, steak, and mashed potatoes deal) and complimentary Mai Tai was too sweet with little to no alcohol. Dessert was brought out while guests were in the deck plates. It was between the boat cruise or a luau....we should've tried the luau.

Getting to the boarding area takes some time, and even though drinks are included once you're on board, you can't really enjoy them on the deck. There wasn't much to see on the way to the fireworks location, and it would have been nice if there was a bit more fun along the way.

It was a tour I boldly joined among the still few Japanese tourists. However, I was very happy that the staff spoke Japanese and were very kind, allowing us to enjoy a delightful meal. The food was also delicious. At the end, the staff made sure everyone had a great time, making it a fun tour. I definitely want to participate again if I have the opportunity.

Great welcome on ship, platters were waiting and salad, great entertainment and staff. The lobster was not what i am used to, so would not select this option again.Was beautiful and seeing the fireworks out in the sea was amazing. Would go again and highly recommend.

The male staff near the entrance left a very good impression. He had a great vibe and seemed like someone who could get along with anyone.

The food was delicious, and I had a great time throughout.

Points to note:
- Japanese is not spoken here.
- There are no chopsticks available.
- If you leave your seat for things like sunset photos, your food will be cleared away.
- You have very little time to eat, and everything will be cleared away once time is up.

They never came to take our order, and we could only use one drink ticket. While we were outside, the coffee spilled and spread all over the table, but they didn't change the tablecloth. I also asked for a refill of coffee, but it never arrived until the end. It was quite disappointing, especially since the sunset was also underwhelming due to the clouds. The only saving grace was the Hilton fireworks.

There were people from various countries on board, and by the end, many were dancing to YMCA together, creating a party atmosphere. For those who are not comfortable with a lot of excitement, the deck is quieter, but it can get chilly with the wind after sunset, so I think it's better to have something to wear.

Even though it's a large ship, it was quite rocky the whole time, so if you're worried about motion sickness, it might be a good idea to have some medication on hand. Regarding COVID-19, I felt a bit uneasy because the spacing between tables was narrow. Most people weren't wearing masks, and since everyone touches the same areas at the buffet, I think it's better for those who are concerned to bring their own disinfectants.

多国籍の方が乗船していて、最後は沢山の方が一緒にYMCAを踊ってパーティー状態でした。あまり皆で盛り上がるのが苦手な方は、デッキだと静かにいられますが、日が沈むと風もあり肌寒いので、羽織る物があった方が良いかと思います。
また、大きな船とは言え、結構常に揺れていたので、心配な方は酔い止めの薬があった方が良さそうです。
コロナに関しては、テーブルの間隔が狭く、少々不安でした。ほとんどの方がマスクをしていないですし、ビュフェは皆触る所が同じなので、気になる方は消毒等個人で持参された方が良いと思います。
ビーチからのサンセットも勿論素敵ですが、クルーズサンセットも良い思い出になりました。
