There were many people from Japan, and many of them participated in aloha shirts and dresses. I think the Japanese guests probably chose the lobster course, but even the one-star option was more than satisfying! The crab legs, in particular, were very delicious!! The entertainment during the meal and the views from the cruise were also fantastic, making for great memories!! I think this tour is perfect for anniversaries and special occasions!!

Pick-up was perfect, complimentary Mai Tai was lovely, but the sunset was hard to savour in the middle of queuing, collecting food and eating! The food was okay.
We chose the trip for the sunset and traditional dancing, but the dancing was evidently lovely BUT hard to see as the girls were not raised up and one needed to look round other people and tables.
We had a nice wander to the top of the boat which was great! BUT the ‘entertainment’ was done by a guitarist who couldn’t sing above a certain pitch and girls who followed his very out of tune singing. I suppose the other passengers got up and took part, as they felt that was expected but we found that part excruciating!
Overall not worth the money.

The cruise and dinner content were satisfying. We could also see the fireworks from the Hilton from the ship.

However, the bus from the meeting point to the ship took a long time to depart, and I believe we arrived quite late compared to other guests boarding the cruise.

As for the seating, it seems that aside from the reserved seats, it was on a first-come, first-served basis, and our seats were not very good. That was disappointing.

We used the 3-star window-side guaranteed plan for our honeymoon with my wife. This is my third time boarding since I was a child. The seating space on the ship is narrow, but considering the age of the ship, I think it's reasonable. Some people have given poor reviews about the food, but considering the cost of living in Hawaii, I actually think it's quite good. Plus, there are shows included with the cruise. The sunset is very beautiful, and the night view of Waikiki is also stunning. The shows are impressive for what is offered on the cruise.

I've written a lot, but I was very satisfied with this boarding experience. I plan to use it again when I come to Hawaii for a special occasion.

Went on a Friday, the boat was crowded and the seating was shoulder to shoulder. I could not really see the show from where I was seated I just had to listen to it and get a glimpse whenever I could. The fireworks were nice but EVERYONE on the boat was trying to see them so you have to get out of your seat early to get a good spot to see.

Ruined by 3 drinking moms. There was an announcement to refrain from standing on the benches. 3 drinking moms stood as soon as the fireworks started and blocked our view. None of the crew reminded them to sit so others could enjoy the fireworks. The fireworks were not very high as they are for other shows I have been to. The captain could have turned the boat so they were not in the front towards the fireworks and give others a chance to see. The crew was nice, played music, and appeared to want everyone to have a good time.

For our honeymoon, we chose a 3-star cruise. To be clear, as a standalone cruise, it doesn't have many standout attractions. It's just a simple cruise where you go a little offshore, anchor, and then turn back, which isn't particularly exciting. However, when considering the overall experience of the tour, I think it offers value for the price.

We don't usually dine at high-end restaurants, but for our honeymoon, we wanted to enjoy a slightly special atmosphere in a casual way, and this was perfect for us. The food was delicious, and the shows towards the end, including hula dancing and haka, were quite impressive. We received a framed photo as a gift before leaving, which made for a lovely keepsake.

A 5-star experience that requires full formal attire is, frankly, too high a barrier for the average person in Japan for various reasons, so unless you're someone quite exceptional, I strongly recommend this 3-star option.

Overall an enjoyable sunset cruise but a bit rushed boarding the boat. We were served and eating our meal while the boat was still in dock. Our meal was the first out and surrounding tables took a while before theirs came out. Our crab leg shells were soft and impossible to crack open. Otherwise the food was enjoyable. Entertainment was fun and lively. I would recommend this experience.

Great cruise, all staff, especially our service assistant, were extremely pleasant, professional, and efficient. A very good buffet with carved roast beef, delicious chicken and fish, everything. Fireworks show a bit difficult. In order to see it well people had to run to one side of the ship, not only tilting the ship a bit but making it even more difficult for people who didn't want to dash to the side to see. This was only a minor observation.

We participated as a family with our two small children! The food was delicious, the sunset view was absolutely wonderful, and the show lasted a long time, so we were able to enjoy ourselves thoroughly without getting bored! The perfect sunset cruise! Beautiful view of Honolulu. Great buffet and great crew. Great live music and Luau performance. Nice experience to share with family and friends.
Dinner food was superb also, you get a free drink (Mai Tai) on the house.
The top deck is a great spot for pictures and videos of sunset and Waikiki Beach.
We had such a Great time.

We booked on our first day in Hawaii with a 3-star rating. Since check-in was at 16:45, we arrived in front of the Star of Honolulu by 16:30, and we were welcomed with hula dancing even before check-in, which made us feel the aloha spirit while waiting (laughs).

We boarded at 16:45 and were about the fifth group from the front, so I thought we might not have needed to rush. The communication on board was only in English, but we were given tickets for four drinks for the two of us, and after the first drink, we could request more as needed. The appetizers of cheese and fruit were served buffet-style, so even if you don't understand English, I think you can get the vibe. Our server, Ally, was incredibly kind, and we were really grateful for that.

After watching the dances and enjoying the scenery, we thought we were heading back to port, but then everyone started dancing to YMCA, which was chaotic but created a fantastic atmosphere. This is definitely one of the optional tours I would want to join again if I go back to Hawaii. Thank you, Ally! And thanks to the photographer with the distinctive countdown of 3, 2, 1!

船内は英語のみでやり取りでしたが、2人で4杯分のチケットを渡されてファーストドリンク以降は適宜お願いする形なのと、前菜のチーズとフルーツは適当なバイキングスタイルで簡単でしたので英語が分からなくとも雰囲気で分かると思いました。担当してくれたホールの方、アリーさんがめちゃくちゃ親切で本当に有り難かったです。
踊りを観て、景色を観て帰港かと思いきやみんなでＹＭＣＡ踊る流れになってハチャメチャでしたが凄く良い雰囲気で過ごせて良かったです。
再度ハワイに行くとしてもまた参加したいオプショナルツアーのひとつです。
