I considered various locations to watch the fireworks limited to Friday, but to secure a spot, I signed up for this tour. As the meeting time approached, the meeting place was extremely crowded with people participating in the same tour, and I wondered how it would turn out. However, once we boarded the bus and arrived at the port for departure, we were smoothly guided to our seats on the boat.

We took our plates from the dinner buffet in order from the nearest seats, and when everyone had finished, the hula show began. We enjoyed various hula performances with changing songs and costumes. The fireworks started right at 8:00 PM. For about five minutes, watching the fireworks and the night view from the boat was truly an amazing experience.

Our seats were on the edge, but the hula dance show featured dancers coming to the sides as well as the center, so we could see it up close and it was very impressive! During sunset, we were able to leave our seats and watch from the deck. It was amazing to see the beautiful sunset and the red Diamond Head! We were also very satisfied because we got to see fireworks at the end of the day!

The sunset dinner was truly a great experience. Everything was very well organized. We were served champagne to begin with and helped ourselves to fresh cheese, crackers and fruit trays. And those were left out for everyone the entire trip, which is beneficial when you have kids who might not like the whole dinner but still want to eat something. The entire dinner was fresh and tasty, and plentiful. Beverages were refilled as necessary but there weren't a lot of soda options. The sunset was beautiful. You just have to keep watch for the ideal time to take pictures of your experience. The entertainment was great, with music and dancers. Great experience overall!!

I usually avoid these typical places, but this one was quite entertaining.
Honestly, I didn't expect much from the food, but the crab was delicious.
I was pretty much silent while eating, and there was unlimited refills.
Since I was eating crab, I completely ignored the show and the scenery.
Actually, the sunset only lasts about 20-30 minutes, so I wasn't sure which was the main attraction, but I did manage to get some nice photos of the sunset.
There were fewer Japanese people, and it was a mix of people from various countries, so I enjoyed the overseas vibe in Hawaii more than in Waikiki.

As mentioned in other reviews, the cruise turned out to be the worst due to troubles with the shuttle service, ruining what was supposed to be a wonderful trip. I arrived at the designated location 15 minutes early and showed my voucher to the staff in cruise uniforms near the bus that was parked at the bus stop, but I was told to wait in the waiting room and was left unattended even after the scheduled time had passed. I showed my voucher again since other tour guests from different travel agencies were being picked up, but I received the same response that the driver would come in and call me, so I should just sit and wait in the waiting room. I complied quietly, but there was no announcement or call, and after 10 minutes past the scheduled time, I became extremely anxious. I called the Japanese support line for VELTRA, but was told that there was no one who could speak Japanese at the moment and that my name was not on the reservation. I persisted, and it seemed they called the staff at the pickup point, and finally, my name was called, allowing me to board somehow. Meanwhile, I received a follow-up email from VELTRA stating, "We received a notification from the cruise company that we would depart if we couldn't meet you on time, and refunds are not possible in case of cancellation," which only added to my anger. It was a cruise experience that left me feeling utterly frustrated.

However, for those who prioritize the atmosphere and scenery of the dinner cruise, even the most affordable buffet can be enjoyable! We didn't have high expectations for the food with this plan, so we finished eating in less than 30 minutes and spent the rest of the time enjoying the view from above!

Although it wasn't sunny, I was very moved by the beautiful orange sky, even though we couldn't see the sunset properly. Additionally, the staff took photos for us, and they made sure to get my partner to smile, resulting in some really great pictures! Although there is a fee, the quality is professional, so I recommend purchasing them! (Of course, you can check them first, so if you like them, it's a win!)

However, depending on the weather and wind conditions, there was more rocking than I expected that day, so I recommend taking motion sickness medication just in case. Neither my partner nor I usually get motion sickness, but we both felt a bit queasy even while enjoying the breeze outside.

ただ、天気や風の状況にもよりますがこの日は思ったより揺れがありましたので念の為酔い止めを飲む事をお勧めします。

I participated in the same course last December and had a great experience, so I joined the same course again this time. However, the service from the staff was so terrible that it turned into a nightmare.

There were three of us, and three chairs were prepared, but four plates were set on the table, so we asked for them to be cleared. They took a long time to respond, and another staff member kindly removed them. After that, the main staff member came to our table, glaring at us, saying things like, "I'm the one in charge" and "Don't ask anyone else." They continued to complain as they walked by (unfortunately, I had no trouble with everyday English), broke a glass, and insisted we "finish, finish" while we were still eating, as if they wanted us to hurry up. The timing of the food being served was also much slower than at other tables, and when the steak was served, we had no drinks.

The person at the next table received an apology after breaking a glass, but of course, we were ignored! In the end, we received only one survey form for the three of us, and when they took it, they slammed it down on the table. They probably crumpled the survey as well. We had a participation of four parents with two girls, aged 6 and 3.

The food was exceptional especially considering the number of people being served. The staff was polite and very accommodating. The young entertainers interacted with the crowd and performed in their traditional attire. We came back to the port with a bang, singing and dancing. I would definitely recommend this cruise. Now it’s just empty with a few eateries.

It was more fun than I expected! This time, I stayed for three weeks, and this was the last tour. That said, I only organized three tours, all through Veltra. Since it was Friday, there were five buses at Aloha Landing, which shows its popularity. First, we had dinner on the Star of Honolulu. There was a service ticket for two drinks (including alcohol), and my wife was satisfied with her Blue Hawaii. We reserved a bottle of champagne but couldn't finish it. The appetizers were quite good too. The main attraction was the lobster, which I haven't had since I ate it in Los Angeles ten years ago. Compared to Ise lobster (I might get scolded by the Ise lobster), it was a bit coarse, but still quite nice. I couldn't finish the steak. The dessert cake was delicious as well. The fireworks were beautiful, but it's more impressive to watch them closer to the beach. The live show was of a pretty high level. Just listening and watching was enough, but there were also opportunities to participate, which was a lot of fun! I enjoyed it more than the price suggested. I will come again next time. Highly recommended!

I used Three Star with my family.
The table was small and felt cramped.
The entertainment show started just before we docked, and we were left waiting in the heat without any breeze until it ended.
There was a lack of crew assistance, and the atmosphere was lacking excitement.

This was a GREAT sunset cruise - food was good, drinks were good (and they did not even make you give in your drink tickets so not trying to get more out of you) and the show was good.

Just one thing to improve upon:
1. Seating took way too long. You know who is coming so you should have assigned seating and it should be really quick - not making people stand in stairwell for 20 minutes just to get seated

The last time I came to Hawaii, I signed up for the buffet plan, and the sunset was incredibly beautiful, making it a lot of fun. However, the people in the next room were having an even better time... so I decided that next time, I would upgrade (laughs).

This time, I upgraded and boarded! Unlimited crab... I didn't expect much, but it turned out to be surprisingly delicious♪ The steak was incredibly tender and juicy, with a deliciousness that brought a smile to my face!!!

The weather started off a bit disappointing, but I was able to see a mysterious sky. Only part of the sky in front was raining, and it looked as if a lace curtain was drawn, changing colors... it was truly a strange sky. In the end, I was very satisfied to see the sunset through the gaps in the clouds.

前回ハワイに来た時にビュッフェのプランで申し込んで、サンセットもめちゃめちゃ綺麗で、とっても楽しかったのですが、隣のお部屋の方がもっと盛り上がっていて…次回はランクアップするぞと心に決めていました(笑)

カニ食べ放題…期待はせず食べてみると意外と美味しい♪

お天気はイマイチなスタートでしたが不思議な空を見ることができました。
前方の空の一部だけ雨が降っていて、そこだけレースのカーテンを引いているかのように色が変わったりして…本当に不思議な空でした。
最後は雲の切れ間からサンセットもしっかり見れ大満足でした。
