My fiancé and I went on the Snorkel and Sunset cruise the second week of November. The bus pick-up was extremely easy and allowed for worry-free drinks on the cruise.

The cruise was spectacular. The orientation was clear and made us both feel comfortable. The snorkel spot selected was stunning and quite safe feeling. We saw many tropical fish and even had a ray breeze past! We spotted a humpback whale breaching and so the captain took us on over for a closer look.

The Kalua pork was tasty for dinner and the crew went out of their way to make sure we were all satisfied. We were treated to a beautiful sunset and leisurely cruise back to harbor.

Setting sail at dusk allows for a fulfilling daytime experience. There’s a welcome dance performance, and as soon as you take your seat, a welcome drink is served. After departure, you can enjoy various activities in the venue and on the deck. The food may not have a wide variety, but it's hearty and there's plenty of time to enjoy it! The sunset is stunning, and the night view afterward is incredibly beautiful! Various events are prepared throughout the time, and moving between floors lets you sneak a peek at performances from other classes, plus there are plenty of photo spots. The crew is friendly and readily accommodates photo requests, and the atmosphere is quite inviting, making it easy to participate in the performances. By the time we return to the port, we were exhausted! (laughs)

The family trip with 10 adults and 3 children was a wonderful memory for my brother, sister's family, and our parents in their 80s, especially since it was their first trip to Hawaii. Even though we didn't have a window seat, we could see the beautiful sunset, and during dinner while watching the hula show, we enjoyed an all-you-can-eat crab that was very delicious and full of meat. On the way there, we took a shared bus from the hotel, but it was nice to be driven back to the hotel in a private car.

Let me start off by saying I NEVER post reviews...which I need to work on because I am always checking them out before I do/buy things. This was my boyfriend & I first trip to Hawaii so we were very excited! We chose the Five Star package because of the jazz music (we attended a luau the night before & did not want to have the same theme).

They picked us up from our hotel at 4:30 pm. From the very beginning we were treated like VIP. We were led to the top deck to have champagne & o'dourves with the captain. We also got to take a professional pic with the captain, which was cool. After that, we were led to our seat inside the ship. We had a window seat & loved it. We were a little worried about getting seasick, but it wasn't a problem. I was a little concerned about the food at first because neither one of us are into fancy food, but it was pretty good (as stated before we chose that package specifically for the music). Instead of the lobster we chose a stuffed chicken option which was my favorite! For our steak entree we asked that it was cooked well done & it was the most tender steak ever! Throughout the dinner you can step outside as you please to feel the breeze, take in the views, & take pics.

The ambiance was beautiful! There was a live pianist, saxophonist/flutist, & singer. They were great! In the end they gave us the photo we took with the captain in a nice album cover with a pic of the ship on the water. Also, all of the ladies were given a rose. The only thing I WISH I would have did was asked for another copy of the photo so my boyfriend & I can both have one :-( I didn't even think about it until we returned back to our home state. I called 3 days later to see if we could get a copy; they sent an email to the photo dept. but almost 2 weeks later & I still haven't heard anything.

Overall, I highly recommend! This is perfect for a romantic date night! The cruise lasted about 2 hrs. This was a great way to end our trip in Hawaii.

Both the shows and the food were fulfilling, and I was very satisfied! However, I was a bit disappointed that I didn't reserve a window seat, so I had to share a table with a couple next to me. The drinks were included, and since I didn't have to order anything, the departure was smooth. I would like to use this again when I go to Hawaii!

The pickup at the Hyatt at 4:30 PM was very crowded, so I had my elderly parents sit down and boarded the bus last. After walking a bit from the bus to the boat, almost all the seats were filled, but we were able to sit at a spacious table next to the dancers, which was convenient since the restroom was nearby. It would have been difficult for my mother, who has trouble with her legs, if we had been seated in the middle.

The lobster was delicious, and my parents were happy. We chose Friday for the fireworks, but it was unfortunate that they were canceled due to strong winds. However, we were satisfied because we could see the sunset and the night view from the sea.

On the way back, we joined a tour that stopped at Tantalus, but the Japanese driver was a bit too talkative, and everyone seemed a bit uncomfortable. Also, I got bitten by a lot of mosquitoes during the brief 10 minutes for photos at Tantalus, so it would be better to bring insect repellent. Since this was the last shuttle ride, I was worried because my mother, who has difficulty moving, was seated far away from me. It seems that we can’t expect much consideration in such cases, so it’s best to arrive early.

刺されましたので虫除けをして行った方が良さそうです。
またこの乗合シャトルで乗るのが最後最後だったので
肢の悪い母と席が離れてしまって心配でした。
そういった配慮は期待できないので、早めに行くしかないようです。

３スターだとカジュアルで、なおかつ一応コース料理が楽しめるので
テーブルマナーが心配な方や、堅苦しいのが嫌な方、ビュッフェが
面倒な方などにはオススメのクラスのようです。

I think this is the perfect tour for anniversaries. I definitely recommend it for honeymooners. During the meal, I was moved by the sunset. After the sun went down, I was again touched by the night view of Waikiki! To top it off, we watched a show, and it was a satisfying cruise.

The food was delicious, and the night view from off Waikiki is amazing no matter how many times you see it! For first-timers, it’s sure to be an unforgettable experience. If you're bringing your wife or girlfriend, this is definitely a must-do! They will be very pleased if it's for a special occasion, and I recommend spending a bit more to participate in the five-star experience! Also, I recommend joining on a Friday! On Fridays, you can see the Hilton's famous fireworks.

This time, we participated with 9 adults and 1 child aged 6, so I thought a buffet style at Pacific Star would be more casual and suitable.

The sunset and night views from the ship were truly beautiful. Even though the child was getting tired and sleepy, seeing the outside scenery while feeling the wind seemed to wake them up, and they were excitedly exploring the deck of the ship.

The shows were also interactive and a lot of fun, creating wonderful memories of Hawaii.

The food was good for adults, but there were hardly any options for children, so I felt we should have thought a bit more about the menu when choosing the course. It would have been reassuring if there were options like a children's lunch.

What I'm about to describe is a three-star cruise, so it might be different for a five-star one (but you probably shouldn't get your hopes up). In a word, it's "disappointing." If you're genuinely expecting a romantic dinner, you'll be completely let down. It's quite common for more than half of the passengers to be Japanese in Honolulu, so let's overlook the discomfort of having identification stickers suddenly slapped on our chests at the meeting point. After getting off the bus, you pass through a rundown shopping street behind the port, and the boarding area is next to Hooters. You board while glancing at the cold, touristic hula performances. Depending on the day, there might be some variation, but you're crammed into extremely small tables that are almost like shared seating. I paid an extra $30 per person for a window seat, but since there's a passageway around the outer edge of the boat (which you can't directly access), you should think of "window seat" as "a seat facing the passageway." Tables are crammed throughout the floor, and the waitstaff, far from being elegant, clumsily weave through the narrow aisles. Soon, music starts on a small stage, and this continues until we disembark. The "cruise" takes you a bit offshore from Waikiki, and if the weather is good, you can see the sunset and the city lights in the distance (you can go up to the upper deck), but it takes a long time for dinner to be served, so you can only go in and out during that time.

Lobster. The waitstaff, perhaps for the sake of the Japanese who aren't used to it, come around in plastic gloves to dismantle it. I was momentarily stunned by the mangled lobster. There's not much to eat anyway. Next up is the customary tough steak. The cooking level is irrelevant. It's like airplane food. The music ranges from Hawaiian to jazz, and by the time dinner ends, a Polynesian dance show begins. It's tough to perform in such a cramped space. I had already seen something a bit more authentic (probably) at the Polynesian Cultural Center, and the same performers switch between different dances, giving it the feel of a talent show. Well, they must be trying their best. Then, after we had already been in port for quite a while, we wrap up with the YMCA. Everyone lines up and dances and sings together. I don't know why it's YMCA. Many people seemed to be having fun, so if that's your vibe, it might be good for you, but if you spent a lot of money thinking it would be a "romantic dinner cruise," you'll feel pretty blue. Newlyweds, be cautious. However, Hawaii itself isn't really a destination for a quiet, intimate getaway. The cost of living is ridiculously high, and it’s not worth it at all. Wealthy individuals who could charter a yacht probably aren't looking at sites like this.

After disembarking, we were lined up by bus number, and there are always those who arrive late for these things, so we couldn't leave for a long time. Some groups went to Tantalus afterward. Good luck to them. Well, it might make for a good story, but you might be better off going to a decent restaurant. I definitely do not recommend this.

ここに記すのは三つ星クルーズについてなので、五つ星だと違うのかもしれない(が多分期待しない方がいい)。一言で言えば「ショボい」。本気でロマンティックディナーを期待して出掛けると完全に裏切られる。乗客の半数以上が日本人なのは、まあホノルルではありがちのことだし、集合場所で識別シールをいきなり胸に貼られる不快も目を瞑ろう。バスを降りると港の裏寂れた商店街を抜け、フーターズの隣に乗り場がある。いかにもツアー客向けの寒々しいフラを横目に乗船。日によって差はあるのかもしれないが、相席に近いような極めて狭いテーブルに押し込められる。窓際確約に一人30ドル余計に払ったが、船の外周に(直接出られるわけではない)通路があるので「窓際」といっても、想像するようなそれではなく「通路に面した席」と考えるべき。フロア中所狭しとテーブルが配され、僅かな通路を上品とは無縁のテーブル係がガチャガチャと行き交う。間もなく小さいステージで音楽開始。これは下船まで延々と続く。「クルーズ」はワイキキのやや沖合いへ出て、天気が良ければ日没と街側の夜景を遠くに臨めるが(上部デッキへ出られる)、ディナーが出るのに時間がかかるので、合間に出入りするしかない。ロブスター。食べ慣れない日本人のために(？)テーブル係のお姐さんがビニール手袋で解体に回る。ぐしゃぐしゃにされたロブくんにしばし呆然。大して食べるところはないのだけど。お次は恒例の固いステーキ。焼き具合もへったくれもない。機内食レベル。音楽はハワイアンからジャズ、ディナーが終わる頃に、ポリネシアンダンスショーが始まる。狭いところで大変だね。ポリネシアンカルチュラルセンターで既にもう少しオーセンティック(多分)なのを見ていたし、同じ出演者が取っ替え引っ替え別の踊りを披露するので、隠し芸大会の趣きも。いやまあ頑張っているんだろうけど。で、もう入港してだいぶ経った時分に締めのYMCA。みんなで一列になって踊り歌うのだ。なんでYMCAなのかは知らない。楽しそうにしている人も多くいたようなので、そういうノリが好みの向きには良かろうが、大枚はたいて「ロマンティックディナークルーズ」と思って参加すると、かなりブルーになる。新婚さん、ご用心。もっともハワイ自体、二人きりで静かに楽しむような旅先ではないからね。物価が無茶苦茶高いし、全く割に合わない。ヨットをチャーターできるくらいの富豪はこういうサイト見てないだろうし。さて下船後もバスの号車毎に並ばされて、こういうのに必ず遅れてくる輩がいるもので、いつまで経っても帰れない。この後タンタロスとか行ったグループもあるんだよね。ご苦労様。まあ、話のネタにはなるかもしれないが、まともなレストランでも行ったほうがいいかも。私は全然お薦めしません。

Ah Man! What an amazing trip. I was a bit weary on the afternoon of since the weather report was not promising any sun. But the sunset was probably the most beautiful I have ever seen. The colors that crusted the clouds were just tear jerking. The crew was so friendly and laid back, food was healthy and tasty, beer was cold, the coastline was misty, water dark blue ... it felt so good to be there at that moment. Cheers to Ocean Joy and VELTRA for making this short trip back to the islands so much fun.

The best sunset on Oahu!

This sail packs in so much in the perfect amount of time. Not only do you get to sail along the west coast of Oahu, but you get to visit a great snorkel spot, eat your fill of delicious food and guzzle down lots of drinks!

I have done a lot of regular dinner cruises in Hawaii and in other states, but this one is definitely the most unique and you totally get a great bang for your buck. Since you are on the west side, you are literally right there as the sun dips below the horizon, and with a steady stream of drinks and as much food as you can eat, there isn't anything better!!!

The drive is like 40 minutes from Waikiki, but the transportation was comfortable and on-time. Great option if you don't want to drive and definitely a "must do" if everyone in your party is planning on knocking back a few.

Be sure to bring some cash to buy the photos that they take of you. The photographer is fantastic and takes TONS of pictures throughout the cruise, both in and out of the water. They put it on a USB drive for you and that way you don't have to worry about snapping shots and can just focus on having fun ^_^

Best. Dinner. Snorkel. Sunset. Cruise. EVAR!

Best snorkel cruise I've been on! The crew were great and you can tell they enjoy their jobs. They were all friendly and personable. They made the experience what is was. Unfortunately I am bad with names, but the crew member who spoke all the different languages was fantastic and so was our photographer (local girl).

Since I had previously used the 3 Star cruise twice, I decided to change things up this time and chose the Pacific Star. Compared to the 3 Star, it definitely felt like you get what you pay for. The buffet doesn't have a wide variety, but I think the quantity is sufficient. There were only two dancers (one male and one female), so unfortunately, the show lacked a bit of glamour, but there were interactive dance segments that were enjoyable. The sunset and night views from the deck are truly wonderful, so I think it's a great option for a casual dinner cruise. The bus transfers to and from the cruise were also smooth and reassuring.

3スターと比べてしまうとやはりお値段なりの内容という印象でした。
ビュッフェは種類は多くないですが、量は十分だと思います。
ダンサーが２名（男女各1名）だけなので、ショーの華やかさは残念ながらありませんでしたが、客参加型のダンスもあり、それなりに楽しめます。　
デッキからのサンセットや夜景は本当に素晴らしいので、気軽にディナークルーズを楽しむには良いと思います。
行き帰りのバスの振り分けもスムーズで安心です。

There was a lot of crab being served, but I couldn't eat that much. Each table had one staff member assigned to it, and when I ordered drinks or photos, I had to give the money to that staff member, but I never received my change back. Even after the ship returned to the port, the staff member did not come. I started to feel anxious and told another staff member about it, who then said to follow them, and they helped me look for the original staff member. In the end, my change was completely forgotten, but I was able to get back the crumpled bills that had been in my pocket.

The weather had been bad since the day before, so the boat was rocking a lot. We don't usually get seasick, so we were fine, but I think it's better for those who are a bit worried to take some medicine!!

The food was very delicious, and the staff were interesting people! There is a designated server for each table, so you can't ask someone else!

We didn't get to see a beautiful sunset, but we were so focused on the lobster that we didn't mind (laughs). After finishing our meal, we enjoyed the night view.
