My husband and I took the Star of Honolulu Dinner Jazz Cruise on 10/22/2017. This was one of the best meals I have ever had. You are treated as royalty as soon as you check in. On check in, we found out that this level of dinning (there are 3 levels) requires men to wear long pants. This was booked as a surprise gift for my husband and I totally forgot to have him pack pants. The staff was great and got my husband a pair of slacks that they keep on hand. We were escorted from the check in to the boat and then by another attendant to the ship were we took photos with the Captain. Then the luxury begins. We have complementary welcome about cocktails and 3 amazing appetizers. Our waiter Forrest escorted us to our table. The meal is 7 courses, but each is small so you are able to finish. Each dish was amazing. At desert you are offered a coffee and can include an addition of coffee liquor. They have premium spirits aboard and you get two free drink tickets in your package. There a constant flux in hula shows and then a jazz show. They were very good. I highly recommend the rainbow colored martini, yummy. The staff all went an extra mile to make this the best experience ever.

I was able to spend a graceful time. We had transportation to the hotel, but I think we could have easily made it to the port on our own. The cruise had the best views! The dinner show also gave a sense of being in a foreign country.

ドリンクも1人3杯までドリンクチケットがあったのに飲むことができず、水ばかり飲むことに…。
とても残念。
他の方々はとても幸せそうにしてたので悲しかったです。
船酔いしたことのない方も、私のような場合があるので酔い止めを飲むことをオススメします。
サンセットや夜景は本当に綺麗でした。
スタッフの方々の接客も素晴らしかったです。
下船前にはバラも一輪頂けます。

私は具合が悪くなってしまい残念な部分もありましたが、特別な夜を過ごすことが出来る素敵なクルーズです。

I thought it was taking a while for dessert to arrive, and just before the end, we were handed a cake in a box without a "congratulations" plate. I originally thought we wouldn't be able to finish it, so I was hoping they could just add a plate for dessert. However, I was told that if we ordered the cake as an option, we could have the plate, so I requested it, but it was a bit disappointing that there was no celebration aspect.

As soon as we set sail, we saw the sunset, and then enjoyed a meal along with band performances and dancing. The food was delicious, and the band and dance were very impressive. However, the tables are mostly for four people, so be prepared to share. I was seated with a newlywed couple from Korea, but we were spaced out enough that we didn't mind each other. That said, depending on the table arrangement, some seats were quite close together, so if you're concerned about that, it might be better to opt for a two-person table or upgrade your course.

I had imagined a dinner on the deck, but it was actually inside the ship, so please be aware of that (it might have been mentioned in the description). Also, due to the nature of dining inside the ship, many people go out into the aisles to see the sunset, so if you want to take photos, you should move early to secure a good spot.

Despite these downsides, the band (two older gentlemen on guitar and bass) and the energetic dances by performers in traditional costumes were very impressive, so my overall rating is satisfactory! Without those performances, I think my rating would have been around 2.5.

また、甲板でのディナーをイメージしていたのですが、普通に船内ですので気をつけて下さい(もしかしたら説明には書いてあったのかも知れませんが)
あと、船内でのディナーという性質上、サンセットを見るために多くの人が通路に出てしまうので、早めに移動しておかないと写真を撮ったりするのは厳しいです。
しかし、それらのマイナスがあっても、バンド(おじ様2人のギターとベースバンド)や、民族衣装を着たダンサー達の激しいダンスなど迫力満点だったので、最終評価は満足です！
それらの演出が無ければ、評価は2.5くらいだったと思います

We participated as a group of five family members. There were various course meal options, but we chose the buffet since we could eat what we liked. The food included several types and desserts, which were more than enough for us.

- It's convenient as there is a bus service to the departure location.

- Upon boarding, we were welcomed with Hawaiian dance and music.

- Even before departure, the performers played the ukulele inside the ship, setting a Hawaiian mood.

- As we set sail, we passed by Pearl Harbor, with the USS Arizona on our right.

- After departure, the staff guided us in taking turns to get food.

- After that, we enjoyed our meal while watching the Hawaiian dance show and took photos against the backdrop of the sunset over Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head on the deck.

- During the Hawaiian show, we were encouraged by the staff to join in the dance. In the end, everyone danced together, creating a lively atmosphere (participation is not mandatory).

It was my first experience with Hawaiian dance, and it was a great experience. There were also people from Japan, and we were able to interact a bit with others from different countries, joking about "I can't dance!" which made for a fun time.

料理のコースは色々あったのですが、好きな物を食べれるということでビュッフェにしました。
料理も数種類ありデザートもあり私たちには十分な種類と量でした。

・出航場所まではバスで送迎なので楽です。

・乗船時にはハワイアンダンスと演奏でお出迎え

・出航するまでも船内では演奏者の方がずっとウクレレで演奏してくれてて気分もハワイになってます。

・出航するとパールハーバーの横を通るためアリゾナ号が右手に。

・出航後はスタッフが順番に料理を取りに行く案内をしてくれます。

・その後は食事をしながらハワイアンダンスショーの観覧やデッキでサンセットに染まるワイキキビーチやダイアモンドヘットをバックに撮影など思い思いに過ごせます。

・ハワイアンショーではスタッフに促されダンスに参加。最後はみんなで踊って大盛り上がり。（参加しなくても大丈夫です。）

ハワイアンダンスは初めてだったのでいい体験でしたし、日本の方も居ましたが他国の方とも『踊れな～い(笑)』と言い合いながら少しですが交流でき楽しい時間でした。

On the last day of our first trip to Hawaii, my mother and I went on a dinner cruise. It was my second time doing this. We were blessed with great weather and got to see a beautiful sunset. After much deliberation about the meal plan, we decided on the roast beef buffet. Since the lobster from last time wasn't great, I was torn between crab and roast beef, but I'm glad I chose the roast beef! The portion was just right, the seasoning was good, and we could enjoy as much dessert, fruit, and drinks like coffee as we wanted, which made the kids happy too. After the meal, we enjoyed a Hawaiian dance show. At the end, there was a dance time that involved the passengers! Thanks to the lively crew, we were all smiles. I'm really glad we went! I recommend it to anyone visiting Hawaii for the first time!

I attended with a friend. The food was decent, but we enjoyed the show and the jazz performance. In the end, everyone participated and danced, which was a lot of fun. The sunset viewed from the boat was beautiful as well.
