To wrap up our trip, we went on a sunset dinner cruise.

We went with my parents, relatives, and a one-year-old, totaling four people. The staff was cheerful, the meal featured a whole lobster, and we got to enjoy a show—everything was perfect! Plus, we were lucky enough to see a rainbow, making it an even more fortunate cruise.

We had a great time, and my parents were very satisfied and said they want to go again!

Since it was the last day of our honeymoon, we decided to indulge a little and join this plan. The location with a view of the sunset was amazing, and not only the sunset but also the night view of Waikiki Beach was fantastic. The food exceeded our expectations in terms of taste, and the performances on board were incredibly fun.

Rather than writing more details here, if you want to have a great time on your last night in Hawaii, I recommend experiencing this at least once.

The sunset was very beautiful, along with the night view of Waikiki and the fireworks.

It was great to interact with many people who were not Japanese (about 1 Japanese to 4 non-Japanese). It was refreshing since Hawaii is usually filled with Japanese tourists (laughs). The crew members were all kind and treated us well.

While a dinner cruise on a large ship is nice, I think a smaller, more relaxed cruise is also good.

However, the food (especially the meat) ran out quickly, so I couldn't eat as much as I wanted...

I participated in a cruise in September 2011.

The sunset was very beautiful and worth seeing.

The dance show after dinner was not great. If you want to see something proper, it's better to check out the dinner shows at the hotel.

As for the food, everything was delicious except for the main dishes of meat and fish. The meat tasted good, but it was too tough. The waiter was somewhat kind, but not very good.

Overall, it was neither good nor bad.

However, if you're prone to motion sickness, it's better to take some anti-nausea medication at the beginning to enjoy it even more.

We had a great time even with a baby! Since you're going for it, I recommend trying a higher class for an even better experience.

The food was just okay. The crab was a bit salty.

The sunset was indeed wonderful. I enjoyed it even without requesting a window seat.

I used the dinner sunset cruise again this year, just like last year. I guess the fact that I use it every year means it's enjoyable! Several decades ago, when I was on a tuna boat, I docked at this Aloha Tower and explored the area. Now it has become a market street, but back then, the entire market street was filled with warehouses and was quite empty. I remember the security wasn't very good either.

When boarding the cruise, they have a welcome dance at the pier, so I wish I could have taken a little more time to watch it. Of course, once on board, I enjoyed the food and the great performance. Foreigners are really good at having fun in places like this. I also took a cue from them and, even though I couldn't communicate, I cleared my mind and actively enjoyed dancing. The final YMCA was a lot of fun.

My initial impression of the sunset dinner cruise was that the food would be bad and it would just be a boring wait for the sunset, giving me the feeling that once was enough. However, since it was my wife and daughter's first time in Hawaii, I decided to book the Star of Honolulu, which I had never been on myself.

It wasn't a five-star experience, just a star course, but surprisingly the food was good, and the show featuring Hawaiian and hula dancing was authentic. My two-year-old daughter was captivated and even took a photo with one of the dancers.

We participated in the dancing until the end and truly had a wonderful time. Because of that, I only caught a glimpse of the sunset through the window. Still, it was so enjoyable that it more than made up for it.

Next time I visit Hawaii, I definitely want to participate again. Thank you very much to all the staff!

This was not my first cruise, so I honestly didn't find it particularly novel. However, the weather was great, all the staff were friendly, and the dancers were happy to take photos with us, making for a very enjoyable time!

Additionally, the passing staff offered advice on the timing of the sunset and photo opportunities, allowing us to capture beautiful sunset pictures.

For my husband, it was his first cruise, and everything was a huge thrill for him. Seeing his reaction made me very happy as well.

I attended with a friend. There were indeed many couples, but groups can enjoy it as well. Dinner with a view of the Waikiki nightscape is fantastic. The space between the seats was a bit narrow and cramped, but the food was delicious. The sky turned a particularly beautiful pink from dusk until sunset, creating a magical atmosphere. It's a color of the sky that you can't see in Japan.

Since we planned to rent a wheelchair in Hawaii, I checked the option for wheelchair assistance when making the reservation.

◆ Cruise Day [Going]
As soon as the driver spotted us with the wheelchair near the meeting point, he carried my mother to the bus and prioritized her boarding. Throughout the ride to the ship and until we reached our seats, the cruise staff pushed the wheelchair for us.

◆ Cruise Day [Returning]
From the ship's seats to the bus and until we got off at the hotel, the cruise staff pushed the wheelchair. The elevator was also prioritized. When boarding the bus, they kindly suggested, “The scheduled bus has steep steps and is dangerous for your mom, so please use this bus instead.” After getting off the bus, they had already unfolded the wheelchair and prepared it for us.

送迎バスに乗ってから船の席に座るまで全て、クルーズのメンバが車イスを押してくれました。

◆クルーズ当日【帰り】
船の座席からバスに乗ってホテルで降りるまで、クルーズのメンバが車イスを押してくれました。エレベータも最優先です。
バスに乗る時も“予定していたバスはステップが急でママには危険だから、こっちのバスに乗って”という気遣いもしてくれました。
バスから降りた後も、降りてくるまでの間に車イスを広げて準備していてくれました。

☆本当に、本当に丁寧な対応でした。

○クルーズの内容
美味しい料理（大きなロブスターとステーキなど）と明るくショーで、楽しく過ごすことができました。まだ杖がないと歩行が不安な母でしたが、“今度来る時は、みんなと一緒に踊れるようにリハビリがんばる♪”と、元気になっていました。

OK, there was a pod of 200 dolphins swimming all around our boat - which was a trip, sunset views were awesome - you won't see a sunset like this one in Waikiki, believe me I went one TWO sailing trips in Waikiki last week, which were great too ... but on this trip we actually saw the sun slip away behind the ocean horizon. The crew was so friendly and chill and accommodating ... no pressure ... no trying to shamelessly sell you stuff, actually, Captain Patrick shared all the free stuff to do along the coast, we saw the Black Pearl from Pirates of the Caribbean and the new Disney hotel too. The snorkeling was great! The food was simple and healthy and tasty! Yum! I understand that this is a newer tour so we only had about 18 people on a 49 capacity boat .... so lots of room to stretch out and get some tanning done. Thank you all at the Ocean Joy for such an amazing experience! We will be back the Kai oli oli again!!

Sunset Dinner Cruise, Cocktails, Dancing.. what a fun night! Let me tell you, seeing a sunset in Hawaii is wonderful but seeing it from the ocean, its like a paint brush painted the skies for the evening. Perfect for that special romantic moment with your loved one!

Unfortunately, I did not see the mystical green flash, but we did see several dolphins and the sunset over the water, magical!

Staff was very attentive and came by my dinner table through out the evening to make sure I was taken care of. Everyone on-board participated in the dancing. Thank you so much for a wonderful Sunset Dinner Cruise!

I picked this cruise because I wanted to get out and do something for the Fourth of July, but I didn't want the hassle of dealing with huge crowds of people, fighting traffic, and being around a bunch of screaming teenagers running around.

This was the perfect choice for me. I am a big guy, so I like to eat...buffet style all the way, and I am a happy man. So the food was good. Drinks were available at reasonable prices, and the best part was nobody seemed to be there to get drunk, but just enjoyed some drinks and the night. The fireworks were the best ending to a good night. I made a great choice, obviously.

I took my sister on this sail last night..and this is by far the best sail (tour wise) this island has to offer. Tropical winds, beautiful deep blue ocean and amazing hawaiian coastal scenery.

Crew on-board both the Spirit of Aloha and Honi Olani are superb and exceed your service expectations. Fortunately, for the adult beverage people, this became an Open bar sail (Beer is usually $1 and mixed drinks are $2) but this is because the boat departed late.

No one comes on-board to get drunk or rowdy..we were all in silent agreement to enjoy our drinks, enjoy our scrumptious dinner and have a wonderful time.. everyone on-board did just that.

Everyone who boarded the vessel were strangers, but we all became friends by the end of the night. Thank You Hawai' Nautical for a wonderful evening of good food, drinks, friendly conversations and laughter.

It was my honeymoon! I was torn between this and a three-star option, but I definitely think this one is better. There are crew members who are second-generation Japanese, so language is not a problem at all, which is reassuring. The ship is smaller than I expected (it has sails) and feels like a luxurious cruise.

The food is a buffet. You can take whatever you like whenever you want, but there are no refills, so if you don't eat the good stuff early on, it will be gone (laughs). However, overall, the flavors are delicious even for Japanese people, and I enjoyed a lot of it! (Desserts are served later too☆)

The sunset is truly beautiful! There’s nothing obstructing the fireworks, so it’s really nice.

スリースターと迷ったんですが、断然こっちのほうがいいとおもいます♪日系二世のクルーがいるので、言葉も全く問題なく安心です。思ったよりはだいぶ小さい船(帆が付いています)でお金持ちのクルージングって感じ。
料理はビュッフェ？です。好きな時に好きなモノを取って食べる感じですが、追加はないので、最初の方に食べないと美味しいモノはなくなります(笑)でも、全体的に日本人にも美味しい味付けで沢山いただきました♪(後でデザートも出てきます☆)
夕日はほんとに綺麗です！花火も遮るものが何もないのでとてもいいです☆
