I was picked up from Waikiki and had a transfer plan to Aloha Tower, and boarding the Star of Honolulu was nice, but the salad, bread, and steak were overcooked, and although there was an all-you-can-eat crab option, it was just okay. The pace was disappointing, as we were told to eat before sunset. However, the sunset from the deck was incredibly beautiful. After that, we waited a long time for the Hilton fireworks, and I was moved by both the fireworks and the view of Waikiki from the sea. There was no need to pay extra for guaranteed window seats! I recommend avoiding the upgrade for guaranteed window seats.

# couple booked but we ended up going as 2 1/2 couple3s as one was sick. Great atmosphere interaction was supurb from the multi national public all guided by a great host. Buffet dinner was excellent and then the show topped it off for a great evening awesome value for money here.

I made a reservation for a luxurious 5-star dinner (7-course French) by the window to enjoy my last night in Honolulu. When the third course, a salad, was served, water started dripping from the air conditioning above. I called the waitress, but she tried to leave the salad there, so I asked for the manager. We moved to another table, and they offered us a complimentary bottle of wine, but it was the worst dinner cruise I’ve ever experienced. Unfortunately, we also couldn’t see the sunset. The show and the meal were good, but I have no desire to go on this cruise again.

I participated in the buffet plan with a friend. Due to the limited space, we had to go outside to get our food, which I thought was a bit inconvenient. The taste was quite average... but the dessert cookies were delicious. Since it was on a boat, it naturally swayed, and the motion was quite significant, so those who are prone to seasickness might find it hard to enjoy their meal.

Since we participated on a Friday, we were able to see the fireworks from Hilton Hawaiian Village, but the outside and rooftop areas were quite crowded, so we watched from inside through the glass. It was still beautiful. The staff members were kind and attentive, responding well to requests from guests, such as when a table was wobbling.

After the fireworks and finishing our meal, the Hawaiian dance show began. I was captivated by the men's muscles (laughs), and there were also dance lessons, which made it enjoyable to watch. The climax was when all participants danced together! The staff joined in, forming a circle to dance, and the choreography was unique and fun. It really felt like a festive atmosphere, like "What did we come here for today?" (laughs).

金曜日に参加したのでヒルトンハワイアンヴィレッジであげる花火が見られたのですが、外や屋上はかなり混んでいて船内のガラス越しから見ました。
それでも綺麗でしたよ。
スタッフの方々は親切で、色々と声を掛けてくれたり、テーブルがガタガタするというお客さんからの要望にもしっかり対応していました。
花火も終わり、食事も済んでくると、ハワイアンダンスショーが始まります。
男性の筋肉にみとれつつ（笑）、ダンスレッスンなどもあって見ていて楽しかったです。
そして、クライマックスは参加者全員でダンスダンスダンス！！
スタッフの方も混じって輪になって踊り、振り付けもなんだかユニークでおもしろかったです。
ほんとにお祭り騒ぎ的な、「今日は何しに来たんだっけ？」みたいな感じでした（笑）
参加者に日本人も多くいましたが、みんな楽しんで踊っていました。
普段あんなにバカ騒ぎしないので、私はすごく楽しかったです。
想像していたサンセットディナークルーズとは一味違いました。

Spectacular Dinner Cruise

This dinner cruise was truly spectacular. We checked in and seemed to be upgraded from the roast beef dinner to the steak and crab dinner. Love it! We were seated at an intimate table for two on the side of the stage and were able to start eating while the rest of the guests were seated with efficiency. It didn't take long for us to be on our way and dinner was served. The steak was medium rare and delicious and the crab (if not a little cold) was wonderful. Entertainment was superb! We enjoyed the beautiful sunset and even spotted a few whales in the distance and enjoyed the Polynesian entertainment. We were able to stroll all decks and since the 2nd deck was not occupied enjoyed a quiet moment before returning to the dock. Enjoyed every minute.

However! Once we got offshore, the clouds cleared up, and we were able to see a beautiful sunset!!
Afterward, we filled up on delicious lobster and steak, and by the end of the show, everyone got up to dance and take pictures with the dancers, creating a lively atmosphere. I was impressed by how well the dancers engaged the crowd. I was completely satisfied both in heart and stomach☆
I also participated in the luau show at the Hilton, but I felt like I would want to join this one again.

I wanted to relax and watch the show with my family, so I felt a bit guilty about that. The view from the boat was wonderful, so I mostly enjoyed the scenery rather than watching the show. I think it would be a fun memory for friends to enjoy together, but it may not be suitable for large families.

My friends and I were finally able to get together on Oahu, and we knew that we wanted to spend it out on the water. This cruise was the perfect choice since we got to snorkel at TWO spots (both filled with fish, coral, urchins, etc.), sipped on cocktails, devoured plates and plates of food, watched the sunset AND got to see whales! We literally couldn't ask for more!

After leaving the harbor, we headed out to the first snorkel spot and got the first glimpse of whales and after we got out of the water (which was really warm by the way), we saw even MORE whales!

The food was really hearty and filling (pulled pork, teriyaki chicken, a really tasty pasta salad, white rice, veggies and fruit) and the crew kept all of our drinks topped up :)

Really happy that we got to go on this cruise, and can't wait to go again on my next visit!

The content is in line with tourist prices. The food and the show are not particularly amazing. However, in Hawaii, where food prices are high for tourists, I have no complaints about the price and content. The guidance for customers and the serving process are well executed, so there is no stress, but the staff's response feels more like task execution than hospitality. I'm glad I participated, but I won't be returning. How about trying it once? If you don't have overly high expectations, I can recommend it as a normal experience.

I had a hard time finding delicious meals in the U.S., but the food was better than I had imagined. It might be important not to have too high expectations...

Since a lot of people board at once, the interior of the ship is quite cramped, but watching the sunset while cruising and seeing the fireworks on Friday night felt luxurious.

As for the show... well, it was just okay. Having everyone dance at the end might be fine if it's just young people! (This time, my parents and grandparents were with me, so it seemed a bit tough for them.)

The view of Honolulu and Diamond Head from the ship was very nice. The food was quite delicious as well. There was live music and a hula show, which were enjoyable. The transportation service was also well organized.

I thought it was great that there was live music and a show during the meal. Also, we could step out onto the deck, so we were able to take nice photos with the sunset in the background. They also took pictures of us at our seats, and we received a photo in an album at the end.

The food was average... The all-you-can-eat crab was a bit difficult to eat. Towards the end, the guests were getting into the show, but for some reason, it seemed aimed at Japanese tourists with "Young Man" by Hideki Saijo! It had the vibe of the 1980s, so for us, who are 28 and 30, and for the younger couples, it felt a bit awkward. I think those from an older generation would really enjoy it.
