This time, we visited Hawaii for a wedding trip and were looking for events that both families could enjoy. In the end, we were very satisfied. There were buffet and course meal options, but we chose the buffet. For reference, the dining areas were divided by floor:
1st floor → Buffet, course meal (the lowest tier?)
2nd floor → Course meal (mid-tier)
3rd floor → Course meal (probably the highest tier)

Honestly, the 1st floor had a lot of foreigners. The 2nd and 3rd floors seemed to have many Japanese, Koreans, and Chinese, possibly because they were part of tours. ただ、景色を3階に見に行くことが出来るので、
私たちは食事が終わったら、2階、3階で景色を見ながらダンスを見ていました。
そういう意味では、1階でもまったく問題なく楽しめました！

I boarded the Three Star with my friends. Although our seats were somewhat difficult to see the entire show from, being almost right next to the performers allowed us to communicate with them, which was fun in its own way. I think there’s an advantage to sitting farther away, as you can see the whole performance and enjoy it more leisurely. I don’t think there are any particular problems with any of the seats. The show was packed with live performances, dancing, and interactive segments, making it a lot of fun. I thought I would just chat casually with my friends while watching the show, but it turned out the show was so enjoyable that I couldn’t do that. I didn’t have high expectations for the food since it was cruise fare, but the shrimp was incredibly delicious and shocking. Even the dessert was tasty. For those who want to drink a lot, it might be different, but the offerings were more than sufficient without any additional charges. At one point, I went out to the deck to enjoy the scenery from the ship, and it was also wonderful. While window-side seats might be nice, I enjoyed it from the deck as well. スタッフの人に、ハネムーンだから席を替えてもらえないか交渉したところ、「二人掛けの席にキャンセルが出たら、移動できる」と言われたが、もし席の移動ができなかったら船を下りて返金してほしかった。
ちなみに、ホテルから港までの送迎バスも満員で、約３０分、席がなくて知らない人の隣に座らされました。詰め込みすぎ。

② 料理について
正直、あまりおいしくない。高価なだけに、期待しすぎた。ロブスターはぱさぱさ。しかも、おしぼりは出されなかったため、トイレが長蛇の列に。ハワイはおしぼりがでないことを知っていたので、大きいウエットティッシュを持ち歩いていましたがこんな日にかぎって持ってくるのを忘れました。ロブスターを出すときぐらい、おしぼりかフィンガーボウルを用意すべきでは？
③ ショーについて
ショーは良かったです。ホテルからの送迎バスを降りたら、ウェルカムダンスをしてくれていて、気分が盛り上がりました。

しかし！船のガソリンが足りなかったのか？時間配分のミス？なんの間違いなのか、船が港についてから１５分くらいは、ショーが続いていました。
昔、このツアーに参加した時は、ちゃんと海の上でショーをやってくれていたような。。

④ 総評
とにかく残念なツアーでした。二度と、参加しません。

Since it was a bit far from Waikiki, I think it's better to include transportation. I was surprised by the large ferry! My husband and I participated together. I was a little disappointed that we had to share a table. I also thought it was noisy. However, the food was very delicious! It was wonderful to see the sunset and the fireworks from Hilton as well! At the end, dancing in a circle with everyone was really fun! I recommend the lobster!

I have lived in Hawaii since 1985. My niece from Indiana visited for a week. I took her on the Star of Honolulu Sunset Dinner Cruise, having never been on it myself. I didn't know what to expect. It was awesome! We both loved it. The pre-boarding hula & Hawaiian music, the on-board entertainment, the food, the views and the friendly staff were all very enjoyable. When other friends and family come to visit, I will be sure to take them. It was the highlight of my niece's visit!

Love, love, loved the dinner cruise. This was our first time in Hawaii and I must say I am happy that we chose this as one of the activities to attend to. From the very beginning when we got picked up from the hotel, welcoming at the cruise ship, dinner, entertainment and fireworks, this is definitely a night that will be forever cherished. The staff was amazingly helpful and attentive especially our table server Rosey, she constantly made sure we had enough crab (purchased steak and all you can eat crab meal) and glasses were filled with drinks. Just AWESOME!!! The music and performers were great as well. At the end of the night we watched fireworks out on the deck. Overall my husband and I had a most memorable evening and recommend if you have not already done so this is one of the a Hawaii activities you don't want to miss!!!

This was my second cruise, having taken one 10 years ago. Basically, the content hadn't changed. However, the prices had gone up. The weather was nice, so the sunset was very beautiful. We were really looking forward to it. To be told just a few days prior, "It's been canceled. If you'd like, please consider other tours," felt very harsh.

Since we were not satisfied, we went on a similarly priced cruise, but it seems we were directed to the lowest tier of that cruise. I found that to be quite rude. I believe that true sincerity would involve providing a service that exceeds the canceled activity, without us having to say anything.

Due to the very disappointing response we received this time, I am giving this evaluation. Additionally, despite our request for phone support because we were in a hurry, communication was only via email until the day before the trip, and they did not respond to that request. It feels as though they do not value each individual user.

港へ到着すると、バス停からすぐのところに船が停まっていました。船に乗りエレベーターで甲板まで上がり、船長と一緒に写真をとります。この写真は最後に例のごとく売りにまわってくれるので、購入することができます。
甲板ではウェルカムドリンクとクラッカーなどの軽食があり、リッチな気分を味わうことができました。食事はまずまずでしたが、カクテルはとてもおいしく、スムージーのカクテルは特に美味しかったです。飲み物を持ってデッキに出ることも可能なので、夜景や夕焼けを見ながらお酒を飲むことができました。
ウェイターの方もとても親切で、この日はとても波が高く船酔いをしてしまったのですが、すぐに気付いていただき、サービスで胃に優しい飲み物を持ってきていただきました。
波が高いのはこの日だけでは無いようなので、酔い止めは必携です。
また今回は金曜日だったので、ヒルトンハワイアンビレッジからの花火が見れて最高の夜でした。できれば金曜日に行くのがオススメです。
今回、最高のクルーズに参加でき、本当に楽しい夜でした。
機会があればまた参加したいです。

I requested a pickup from Waikiki. There were so many buses that I wasn't sure which one to take. I got on the bus and headed to the cruise. I chose the all-you-can-eat crab, but the meal was just okay. The sunset and the show were really great. It became a wonderful memory. There was a kind employee, and I wanted to give a tip, but I didn't know when to do it, so I ended up not giving one... The people in Hawaii are cheerful. I received a lot of energy from them. In late April 2015, I participated in the 3-star course. This was my first time boarding a ship at the request of my parents, who were visiting Hawaii for the first time.

Unfortunately, the weather was mostly cloudy that day, so we couldn't see the sunset, but it was fun to watch the dancers' powerful performance up close. The final show was longer than I expected, which was satisfying. The seats we were guided to were right in front of the stage, making it even more enjoyable. I imagine that if you were seated at a table further to the side on the same course, the perspective and experience would be quite different. That's just luck, though.

As for the meal, I have a dislike for meat, so I was able to request a fish substitute for the steak in advance, which was great. However, the fish that was served (grilled tuna?) wasn't really to my taste, so I felt bad for leaving it uneaten. My family members who had the steak said it was delicious. The lobster was served whole, and it was fun to eat it in such a grand way. It was tasty!

The clientele was mainly Japanese, along with some people from Korea and China, and a few from Western countries. I had heard that there was a casual dress code, but there were some guests in T-shirts, shorts, and flip-flops, which I found a bit questionable. Well, it can't be helped, but I wish they would check that a bit more.

While the price is somewhat high, I think it's worth experiencing at least once. My parents enjoyed it, so I was glad. Thank you to all the crew members!

当日は生憎の曇り空が多く、サンセットは見れませんでしたが、ダンサーさんの迫力あるショーが間近で見れて楽しかったです。
終盤のショーは思ったより長くやってくれて満足です。
今回、案内して頂いたお席もステージの前だったのでより、楽しめました。
同じコースでも端の方のテーブルになるとまた見方や感じ方も違ってくるのでしょうね。こればかりは運ですが。

食事は、私はお肉が苦手なので、事前にお願いしてステーキをお魚に変更してもらえてのも良かったです。
ただ出てきたお魚（マグロのグリル？）もあまり好みでなかったので、残してしまって申し訳なかったです。
ステーキを食べた家族は、美味しかったと言っていました。
ロブスターは丸まる一匹出てきて、豪快に食べれたのは面白かったです。美味しかったです！

客層は主に日本人とあと韓国、中国の方、少し欧米の方でした。
服装も一応カジュアルドレスコードとお伺いしていたのですが、Tシャツに短パン、ビーチサンダルの方もいて、ちょっとどうかと思いました。
まぁしょうがないのでしょうが、そこはもう少しチェックして欲しいですね。

そこそこお値段も張りますが、一度は乗船する価値はあると思います。
両親も楽しんでくれたので、良かったです。

This was my first time participating in a Hawaii tour. I usually plan my own trips, focusing on the places I want to see and visit, so I haven't participated in many local tours. However, this time, since I was traveling with my wife after several years, I thought it would be nice to join a tour that we could both enjoy as a memory. The content of the tour was great, and I was able to have conversations with people from various countries, which made for a fun time. The only downside was that one of the meals was not very good. 　ラウンジ１は客席が少数の為、生演奏やダンスなどのパフォーマンス担当も数人ですが、いきなりウェイターが踊り出したり客参加のダンスが始まったりと、飽きさせない工夫がされていて感心しました。
　食事はともかく、楽しかったですよ。
　次回はグループで参加したいですね。

I attended with my 84-year-old mother, who uses a cane, and my husband. The five-star experience allowed us to enjoy a calm and delicious dinner, and even when we went out onto the deck, it wasn't crowded. We were able to fully enjoy the sunset and fireworks, even with my elderly mother. I was very pleased with the thoughtful gesture of reserving the front seat for my mother on the return shuttle bus, even though we were the last to board.

It's my 3rd time with Star of Honolulu and they never fail to amaze me!
I was greeted with a beautiful smile by Kathleen at the ticket office. She was very nice, friendly, and it seems like she was enjoying her job. Before we boarded, the dancers are always very entertaining, a unique way to welcome their guests (yes, I've been to other dinner cruises and only Star of Honolulu has this great idea).
At the boat, here comes the cheerful and very energetic Freddie, who took us to our table. He didn't realize there were eight (8) of us but he was able to accommodate us right away having our own table by the window! He is the Assistant Floor Manager and I was really impressed with his friendliness and bright personality, he is funny too! The couples that we were with are visitors from Canada, celebrating their Silver Wedding Anniversary. I forgot to mention this special occasion when I made the booking so I told Freddie if there’s a way he can announce it after dinner. Knowing how busy they were, I never expected it to happen but I was extremely happy and grateful that he didn't forget. After the Polynesian entertainment, he immediately pulled my couple family towards the stage to make their dance. All the other couples, honeymooners, anniversary celebrants, followed. It was an honor!! Thank you so much Freddie for that, it was a memory of a lifetime for my family.
I would also like to give credit to Jay, who was our server that night, in fact all the crew members because they know how to take care of their guests, they're fast and attentive! The One Star package is not bad at all, I actually like this better than the Three Star believe it or not and IT'S ALL YOU CAN EAT CRAB LEGS!! Yummy! The steak was delicious also, so tender and juicy!
Will definitely cruise with Star of Honolu again and again! True "Aloha" spirit..good impression for those visiting the islands for the first time...greatly satisfied with the services they offer. Thumbs up SOH!!
