My wife and I used this service.

The good point is that there is entertainment, and they showcase Hawaiian dances, which was enjoyable.

On the downside, during the meal, having to crack open the lobster shells was a hassle, and it was bothersome that my clothes and hands got dirty with lobster juice. Additionally, it was disappointing that there were no wet towels provided to clean our dirty hands.

Every time I go to Hawaii, I always experience the sunset dinner cruise. A bus comes to pick you up at the hotel, so you can participate with peace of mind. Besides the expectations going in - it was good, just wouldn’t go again. That’s not our scene.

1. I booked sit down dinner, not buffet, overall food presentation look good, taste good too. Drinks are good too.
2. Service is just so so, the server for my table never gets me things I asked for, example, refill water, lemon, and my second glass of drink, I understand it's a busy task and have to serve all plates and take finishing plates away, and each server takes care of couple tables, but this should not be used as an excuse for service quality.
3. The show is good, but it's kind short, I wish we can see the full stage of Luau show, but the center stage is pretty small, so in order to accommodate every guest, they always have couple dancers on each side,

We had a great time at Pacific Star as a couple. Since I can't eat lobster, we participated in the buffet style. A huge number of people lined up to board the cruiser. I was a bit worried about whether I would have a seat since I arrived later by shuttle bus, but they had properly arranged tables for our group, so I was able to sit down.

This is my fifth time in Hawaii, and my husband’s third. We’ve come for the Honolulu Marathon and with friends this time. It’s our second trip to Hawaii with this couple.

We participated in a cruise for the first time. There were times when the sunset by the window was hot, but it was absolutely wonderful. The food was amazing! The sunset was stunning! The dancing and, above all, the music were incredibly fantastic. My husband was dancing.

I want to go again and highly recommend it. Thank you!
