I've been to Hawaii many times, but for some reason, I had never been on the Star of Honolulu. This summer, I went to Hawaii with my elementary and preschool children, so it was a great opportunity to board the ship. The result was a big success! The night view of Honolulu from the ship and the ukulele show, among other attractions, were fantastic. It seems my preschooler also enjoyed it. If you haven't boarded yet, I definitely recommend giving it a try! It looks like I'll be boarding again on my next trip to Hawaii. Highly recommended!

Since my parents had previously participated in the buffet-style option, this time we decided to upgrade and enjoy lobster and steak. The ship was very crowded, so the first drinks took a while to arrive, and we missed the toast, but after that, the service was smooth, which was great. Above all, the staff were moving around with smiles, and I was really impressed by their effort.

All the food was delicious, and we finished everything along with our drinks.

From start to finish, there was live singing, creating an amazing and pleasant atmosphere. (We can overlook the service sounds for this occasion.) When the show started, dancers also came down the aisles in addition to the central stage, which added to the excitement. They performed hula and Polynesian dances, and it was great to enjoy well-known songs that everyone recognizes across generations and countries (like The Carpenters and the Hawaiian version of "Tears of Joy"). In the end, the staff and guests all mixed together for a big celebration. If anyone doesn't want to participate in the chaos, they can retreat to the deck, so that's fine.

It was the last night of our stay in Hawaii, and we had a wonderful time. By the way, if everything goes as planned, we should arrive at the hotel before 9 PM, so we can go out for a short time from there. Even on the last day, there's enough time to pack our bags (laughs).

ショーが始まると中央のステージ以外に通路にもダンサーさんが来るので迫力満点です。
フラやポリネシアンダンスを披露し、あとは世代や国を超えてみんなが知っているナンバーで楽しめるのは盛り上がるし良かったと思います。（カーペンターズや涙そうそうハワイVer.）
最後にはサービスしていたスタッフさんやお客さんも入り乱れての大騒ぎとなっていました。
この大騒ぎに参加したくない人はデッキの方に避難することもできるので大丈夫です。

ハワイ滞在最後の夜でしたが、とても楽しく過ごすことができました。
ちなみに予定通りに進めばホテル到着は21時前なので、そこから短時間ですが出かけることもできます。
最終日にしても荷物をまとめる余裕があります(笑)

As you check in and arrive to the pier, you will be entertained with a Hula performance. You will then be directed with a pleasantly helpful staff to seat you with your tossed salad ready to be consumed. Also you will then receive a welcome Mai Tai which is very addicting and may cause you to purchase more. I had 4 of them. The all you can eat crab legs, steak, and macadamia nut ice cream was amazing. As the sun started to set, I found myself in a very relaxing area of the top deck. I was taking in the views of the ocean, land, and skies as I was just about ready to call it a night. Until we just about to reach the dock, all their employees started a party and danced like crazy. My date is not much of a dancer, but she enjoyed watching me entertain everyone. This night was a night to remember especially the service provided the staff on board. They will make sure you are always satisfied.

We participated as a family of four. It was a one-star experience, but we were satisfied with the all-you-can-eat crab. However, unlike in Japan, there were no crab spoons, so I had to think about how to eat it. The dinner was really good. Additionally, the shows that took place in between were vibrant and very enjoyable. In the end, everyone danced together with the staff, and it was a lot of fun. Since the air conditioning was quite strong, I think it's a good idea to bring a jacket.

Despite the ship having to return to port because of rough water we had a wonderful time. The drinks were good and the food was delicious. The lobsters were delicious and the steak was about the most tender and tasty steak I have ever had. The music and show were great.I was very appreciative that one of the dancers took a picture with me after the show. The staff was eapecialy helpfull and particularly your assitant manager.The Star of Honolulu was the highlight of our trip to Hawaii. We would definitely do it again. Highly recommended.

I boarded with a 1-star rating, but the staff was absolutely amazing. There was a staff member who resembled Reiji from Nakagawa-ke, who was a bit younger and slimmer. His name was something like Frederico, but since the pronunciation was difficult, I would call him "Nakagawa-ke-san" or "Reiji-san" when I needed something. He immediately responded and came to our table, and he was very kind, especially since there were elderly people with us. During the final dance scene, there were even some people who danced until their pants ripped to get the guests excited. The food was delicious, and it was a cruising experience where I could truly enjoy Hawaiian hospitality. Of course, the sunset was beautiful too!!!

Being my first time in Hawaii and using this service, I had quite a bit of anxiety leading up to the day. However, the local staff smoothly guided us to the shuttle bus, and we arrived at the port in about 45 minutes. Boarding the ship and being shown to our designated seats went without any confusion, just as shown in the pictures.

In the room, people from various countries gathered, and as dinner began and the show started, the excitement gradually built up. After finishing the meal, we went up to the deck. The blue of the ocean was a deep azure, unlike any sea I had seen before. About 30 minutes after going up to the deck, the sunset began. It was a pity that it wasn't a sunset over the ocean, but I was still captivated by the beautiful evening sky.

We returned to the cabin, thinking it was over, but that was just the beginning of the main show. Not only the show dancers but also the staff performed wonderfully, and there were guest interactions that kept us entertained until we were almost back at the port. They also guided us back to the shuttle bus, allowing us to return to the hotel with peace of mind.

I was very pleased that even though I booked just a few days before the trip, I received a phone call confirming my reservation. It was a reasonable and wonderful experience. I created joyful and significant memories on my first trip to Hawaii. Thank you very much.

旅行日のほんの数日前に申し込んだにも拘わらず、電話連絡も頂き、予約が確定したことを確実に連絡頂けたことも、大変嬉しかったです。
リーズナブルで素晴らしい企画でした。初のハワイ旅行での楽しく、大きな思い出が出来ました。本当にありがとうございました。

It was a cruise on the lowest floor. There were some performances like hula dancing on other floors and rooms, but perhaps because it was the lowest rank, there were only two hula performers and one musician, creating a cozy atmosphere. That said, the other floors seemed to be quite lively, so I thought maybe it would have been nice to go up one more rank.

また、ご飯ですが、もう２～３種類多くして頂けるとうれしかったです。

When the waves are calm, you can go out on the deck and take photos, but unfortunately, it was quite windy, and perhaps because of that... the waves were choppy, so it felt a bit scary outside.
The food was a course meal... with a dedicated waiter who brought the next dish at just the right time, which made me feel like I was in a high-end restaurant.
For those in the top class, the price is a bit higher, but definitely dress up and enjoy the best experience.

On June 20th, the sunset was late, so we couldn't see the night view, but we were able to see Honolulu and Diamond Head. The food was decent. The crab was all-you-can-eat, and the staff distributed crabs from a basket. Unfortunately, there were no forks for the crab, and since they weren't pre-cut, it was quite difficult to eat.

On the other hand, it was great to see the impressive hula performance right by our table. Additionally, the lively atmosphere created by an American family from Texas really added to the excitement. I think it would have been a quiet tour if it had just been East Asians.
