Great way to spend an Evening!

We had so much fun on the Spirit of Aloha Waikiki Sunset Cruise with Cocktails! The crew offered great service along with upbeat music and a great vibe. Our sailing occurred on a bit of a rainy afternoon, however the captain did a great job navigating us away from the rain. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset with enjoying cocktails and food. I couldn't recommend Spirit of Aloha Waikiki Sunset Cruise with Cocktails more!

Amazing Views & Delicious Food

We celebrated outer sons 13th Birthday on the Prince Kuhio Cruise. The crew was amazing and very polite! The food was absolutely delicious from the salad to the entree and cheesecake. But the show stopper was the amazing view of Waikiki beach and seeing the sunset. What a wonderful experience. I highly recommend if you are visiting Honolulu.

I applaud the crew of young people, however they were too laid back & very unprofessional. “Dinner” was just a takeout tray of food. How am I expected to eat while I bob up and down on the ocean. Table, uhhh NO…The crew was more concerned with their good time & conversation. The ship was beautiful, the view was lovely but definitely not worth what I paid. I did the same sail for $50 minus the “dinner”.

It's a positive experience

This tour is just as advertised. We were able to check in at 5:45 though people were already lining up by around 5 p.m.

There is no alcohol available on board but there are unlimited non-alcoholic beverages.

Dinner is totally fine. Not amazing but edible and tasty.

For me, I would rather have spent the money on a dolphin cruise or a view that is further from Waikiki but it does give you nice views of the city and diamond head.

Overall it was a positive experience. It was a lot of couples but would also be fine for a family.

Relaxed sunset sail!

I had a blast on this sunset sail. It was the perfect "pau hana" (happy hour, end of work day)!

For drinks, they had cocktails, beer, wine, & non-alcoholic drinks. I really liked the appetizers (chicken, rice, and veggies). It was just the right amount of food to go with the Mai Tais that I had!

This is a docked catamaran. Unlike beach catamarans, you will not have to walk knee-deep in the water to board the boat. You'll be perfectly dry as you board the boat on the pier (as seen in the photo). This makes it a great choice for those who want to dress up a bit for the sunset sail, those traveling with little ones, guests with mobility issues, etc.

I loved that this was conveniently located in WAIKIKI! It's right at the Hilton Hawaiian Village (not to be confused with the Hilton Waikiki - which is a different hotel).

We really enjoyed our time on the Moana catamaran sunset sail. The crew was very helpful and friendly and the catamaran was in good condition. We had a great view of Waikiki. Read carefully though - dinner is not included as part of the sail even though it’s called a sunset dinner sail with BYOB!

From boarding to dinner, to the gorgeous evenings, riding the “wave” back in to the dock - it was absolutely excellent, Food arrive timely and hot, It tasted very good and the meat was so tender you cut with a fork not a knife. I would do this again when I return, The value was definitely there.

Trip was great! The crew was very friendly and answered our random questions. I loved getting to sail for the majority of the time that we were on the water, and getting a view of Waikiki & Diamond Head from the water! We had a great view of sunset as well, and planes taking off from HNL. It was BYOB, but they also had drinks for sale on the boat ($5/drink or $20 bottomless). The boat had a decent number of passengers, but I don’t think it was sold out, so it didn’t feel too crowded. The attached photo is of the boat before we boarded and left the marina.

Great Crew, Wonderful Views

This sunset cruise was nearly perfect! My family and I were able to book our experience in the same week we took the cruise, I felt it was priced quite fairly and the process was very easy. The website's description was very helpful and I appreciated having the option to purchase dinner if I so wanted to. I did not buy the dinner package but the other guests who did seemed quite happy with their meals, though there weren't tables to place your food on. If you do choose to get the dinner, eat it before you get out to the open waters as you and your food can get pretty wet from ocean spray depending on where you sit. If you don't want to get wet there's plenty of seats that stay dry, though the catamaran can fill with many guests so arrive early if you want the best seating options. Overall, my family and I loved our experience, my mother was a bit worried as the crew didn't discuss emergency protocol but I never felt like this was a concern. The 90 minute trip had excellent views, wasn't too rocky, and I liked being able to bring my own drinks or purchasing drinks from the crew. I would highly recommend this activity to couples, families with older children, or friend groups. If I ever return to Oahu I would thoroughly like to do this again!

It was just okay, but the waitresses on the vessel made up for it.

The service provided on the dinner cruise by the servers was excellent. They were friendly and nice, always with a smile! I expected more interaction by the captain. He didn't introduce himself to the people on board or had anything to say to us. This dinner cruise was a disappointment, but we tried to make the best of it. The dinner was good, but two of my family members got sea sick because the waters were choppy and the vessel was rocking back and forth pretty bad. At least a photographer took a nice picture of us that we purchased! Thank God I took motion sickness medication before I boarded the vessel.

Great time on the catamaran, staff was super accommodating. We went as a non-drinking family and it was very nice. There was even a proposal on the boat while we were there. Mixed crowd there was some Shorts and t-shirt and a also people were dressed up.

The food we were served was amazing. I expected it to be decent, but not 5 star restaurant quality considering it had to be made in bulk and served on a boat. It was delicious!
My family sat downstairs because the top got filled up quickly and we would have had to sit separately. If you want to sit in the open air, I suggest being in line to board a little early.
I would definitely do this again.

I loved the crew and the whole vibe the Cruise offered!! We had beautiful music playing and the sunset was gorgeous! If you’re looking for one of the best evenings you’ll have in Oahu, book this cruise without any reservations. It was easy to find. There’s a direct bus that goes from the Waikiki area and lands you on the basin where you’ll find your catamaran docked! Do it!

After a 20 minute walk in the sun, we arrived just in time to board and were told it was cancelled. They did a refund but we were disappointed especially since everything else is booked weeks ahead of time.
