I used Three Star with my family.
The table was small and felt cramped.
The entertainment show started just before we docked, and we were left waiting in the heat without any breeze until it ended.
There was a lack of crew assistance, and the atmosphere was lacking excitement.
In such a dull environment, even though there were only individual guests, making everyone hold the shoulders of the person in front and spin around in a circle might not suit the Japanese.

This was a GREAT sunset cruise - food was good, drinks were good (and they did not even make you give in your drink tickets so not trying to get more out of you) and the show was good.

Just one thing to improve upon:
1. Seating took way too long. You know who is coming so you should have assigned seating and it should be really quick - not making people stand in stairwell for 20 minutes just to get seated

The last time I came to Hawaii, I signed up for the buffet plan, and the sunset was incredibly beautiful, making it a lot of fun. However, the people in the next room were having an even better time... so I decided that next time, I would upgrade (laughs).

This time, I upgraded and boarded! Unlimited crab... I didn't expect much, but it turned out to be surprisingly delicious♪ The steak was incredibly tender and juicy, with a deliciousness that brought a smile to my face!!!

The weather started off a bit disappointing, but I was able to see a mysterious sky. Only part of the sky in front was raining, and it looked as if a lace curtain was drawn, changing colors... it was truly a strange sky. In the end, I was very satisfied to see the sunset through the gaps in the clouds.

It's puzzling why we couldn't meet at the designated spot, which was just the hotel parking area and not that large. The hotel staff had also told me that it was fine to wait on this bench, so I wasn't late for the meeting time.

I was able to change the date and board the boat the next day. The scenery and the food were both very good.

The elegant cruising experience I had imagined was quite different; it was crowded with many tourists, creating a noisy atmosphere. Seeing a dirty kitchen when boarding also lowered my mood a bit. The drinking water served had a strange taste and was undrinkable.

The Star of Honolulu sunset cruise, was awesome! My husband surprised me with the dinner cruise to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Once on board, we met and had a picture taken with the Captain. We visited with some of the staff, they were fascinated that we were American Indians. Once the cruise set off, appetizers were served and it was the beginning of the amazing 7 course dinner. Each course was better than the previous dish served. The serving staff were fantastic, took care of any needs or questions we had. The entertainment was extraordinary, from the piano player, Hawaiian dancers to the beautiful singer at the end. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend this to anyone who wants to do something very special for any occasion.

From the moment that we first interacted with staff at the shuttle bus pick-up, the whole package was seamless. Staff made the bus ride and boarding so easy that we just had to be swept along and enjoy the experience. The management on the boat was also superb, but kept personal.
