We participated as a couple! The sunset was of course beautiful, but the live guitar performance on the boat was so much fun! The guitar accompaniment was just okay, but the talk and pacing were exquisite and kept us engaged! You could really feel the experience level was different!

However, it was disappointing that we couldn't go out on the rooftop of the Star of Honolulu with a three-star rating.

Since it was our honeymoon, I wanted to make reservations for a proper dinner a few times during our stay, and that's when I found the dinner cruise.
The scenery was beautiful, and we were provided with a private seat by the window, which made us very happy! The photos turned out beautifully and became a nice memory.
I was a bit concerned about the dishes being a little dirty and that we couldn't go outside for a while after arriving at the port, but overall, I was satisfied!

Last year, my spouse and I participated in the premium tour on the upper deck, and this year we experienced the buffet on the lower deck with our child (and grandchild). It was indeed worth the price. It was enjoyable, but the satisfaction level might be higher in the premium seats...

We used this for my parents' golden wedding anniversary celebration. When I mentioned this to the staff of the Star of Honolulu in advance, they surprised us with flowers at our seats and made an announcement on board, which filled my parents and us with surprise and gratitude. The food and drinks were delicious as well. The sunset is incredibly beautiful, so I highly recommend it.

I participated with my sister. The meal was a three-star lobster and steak. The lobster was a whole large one. It looked impressive, but it was big and difficult to eat, and I felt it was a bit bland. The steak was tender and delicious. Additionally, there was an all-you-can-eat cheese and fruit, and the cheese was very tasty. When the weather is nice, the sunset is very beautiful, and the hula dance show is lovely.

The food and drinks were delicious, and the show was fun; it was the best. The lobster was amazing. If I had to say something, it was a bit disappointing that my seat was not one where I could see the show sitting down, but there were people dancing nearby, so I was able to enjoy it without worrying. The final group dance was really exciting, and the song choices were great, making it a lot of fun. I hope everyone participates and enjoys until the end. I would love to use this place again. I participated to honor my parents. It was a one-star crab course, but just as others had shared in their experiences, the crab was delicious and didn't feel like an all-you-can-eat option. The Polynesian dance show from various countries was unexpectedly wonderful, and since it coincided with sunset, I wished I could have enjoyed it a bit more leisurely. The final circle dance was also exciting and a lot of fun. Since I participated on a Tuesday, there were no fireworks, but I thought it would have been perfect if we could have watched the Hilton fireworks from the boat. If there's another opportunity, I plan to choose the three-star option, which is rumored to have the latest disembarkation and keep the excitement going until the end.

1スターのカニのコースでしたが、他の方の体験談通りで食べ放題とは思えない美味しいカニでした。

Dinner while watching the sunset. There was also a show in between, and the kids had a great time. We went out on deck and in the hallway to take photos at the timing of the sunset over Diamond Head. It was another tour that I’m glad I participated in!

On the third day of my first stay in Hawaii, I suddenly wanted to go on a boat, so I searched online for optional tours and found this sunset cruise on Veltra. I actually wanted to go on a sunset catamaran yacht for about $50, but the day we wanted to go, it wasn't operating, so we reluctantly booked this $96 buffet cruise.
I'm glad we were able to book it on short notice.
In the end, it was a great decision! The space was wide enough to walk around, allowing us to enjoy views of the ocean and the city of Honolulu from various angles. The boat was large, so it didn't sway too much, and they had hula dancing and singing, which really made us feel the Hawaiian vibe! The buffet was also quite delicious, especially the roast beef!
While small boats are nice, I felt that larger ones offer more freedom to sit quietly, walk around, or have fun!

The weather wasn't very good during the day, but as soon as we set sail, the sun came out, and there was applause and excitement!
It was perfect for wrapping up our three-generation trip. Since we were on a boat, the food was just okay, but we were able to enjoy the beautiful sunset, look back on our trip while gazing at Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head, and spend a wonderful time together.
The sticker that served as our ticket (which we wore on our chest) had information about our seats, services, and transportation, making the return guidance smooth.
日中はあまりお天気が良くなかったのですが、出航と同時にお日様が出て拍手がわき、盛り上がりました！
３世代旅行のしめくくりにピッタリでした。
船上なのでお料理はそこそこといったところですが、きれいな夕陽、ワイキキビーチやダイヤモンドヘッドを眺めて旅を振り返り、楽しいひと時を過ごすことができました。

I took a taxi to the port instead of using the shuttle bus. The trip there took almost twice as long due to rush hour. I think those who don't use the shuttle bus should leave the hotel early.
Perhaps because the ship was large, it didn't sway much, and I was able to enjoy the food, music, and dancing. Honestly, I didn't have high expectations for the food since we were on a ship, but I was surprised by the plump lobster and perfectly cooked steak that were served. The servers were also very pleasant. However, it was a bit noisy for having a conversation while eating, so I think a different course would be better for those who want to chat.
On the way back, there was a taxi stand right where we disembarked, so I was able to return quickly without having to call for a taxi.
送迎バスを利用せず、タクシーで港まで向かいました。行きはラッシュアワーのため、帰りの倍近く時間がかかりました。送迎バスを利用されない方は早めにホテルを出たほうがいいと思います。
船が大きいためかあまり揺れず、食事や音楽、ダンスを楽しむことができました。船の中ということで正直料理にはあまり期待していなかったのですが、ぷりぷりのロブスターといい焼き具合のステーキが出てきて驚きました。サーバーの皆さんの感じもよかったです。ただし会話しながら食事するには少々騒がしいので、そうしたい方は別のコースがいいと思います。
帰りは船を降りてすぐのところにタクシー乗り場があったので、電話で呼ぶこともなくすぐに帰ることができました。

Food service was somewhat quick, but understandable and good. Drinks did take some time and got confusing but the wait staff remembered and was very organized. Bartender could have used more help or another bartender to handle the people capacity. Overall great service and wonderful show!

We participated with nine people, including my 83-year-old mother, three sons, a daughter-in-law, and a two-year-old grandchild. The lobster and steak were fairly good, but it was disappointing that the drinks took a long time to be served and didn't arrive at the same time as the meal. The Polynesian show and music were great, and everyone at the table was friendly. Before we docked, almost all participants joined in dancing, which was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunset due to the clouds, but that can't be helped. I felt like there wasn't enough time.
母親83才、息子3名と嫁、孫2歳も含めて9名で参加しました。ロブスターやステーキはまあまあ美味しかったけど、飲み物のサーブに時間がかかって食事と一緒のタイミングでなかったのは残念。ポリネシアンショウや音楽はテーブル席の側で皆フレンドリーで良かった。入港前に参加者ほぼ全員参加でダンスして盛り上がって楽しかったです。目的のサンセットは曇りで夕焼けを見れなかったのはしょうがないです。時間が足りないと感じました。

On the last day in Honolulu, I participated in a tour. It seems that lobster and steak are specialties here, but since the meal options overlapped with other optional tours for the three-star rating, I opted for the one-star all-you-can-eat crab and steak.
I was quite anxious about the meal quality given the one-star rating, but the crab was shoulder-cut snow crab, and the meat was decent, so it was satisfactory. Personally, I think the meal quality is sufficient even for a one-star rating. However, it was more of a one-time offer for seconds rather than an all-you-can-eat experience, as they only came around once to ask if I wanted more.
The show takes place in several areas on the same floor, so you can see it well from any seat. I recommend going to the top of the boat for a better view of the scenery.
ホノルル最終日に参加してきました。こちらはロブスター&ステーキが名物なのか3スターの場合、他のオプショナルツアーと食事内容がかぶっていたため、1スターのカニ食べ放題とステーキで申し込みました。
1スターという事で食事内容にかなり不安を感じていましたが、カニは肩付きズワイガニ、身入りも悪くなくまずまずでした。個人的には食事内容はワンスターでも十分だと思います。ただ食べ放題と言うよりは、一度だけおかわりを聞きにきてくれただけでした。
ショーは、同じフロア内で何ヶ所かにわかれて行われるので、どの場所に座ってもよく見る事が出来ます。
景色は船の1番上に上がって見る方が綺麗に見えると思うのでおすすめです。

It was a reservation for a local tour the day after arrival. The all-you-can-eat crab was very satisfying. I was surprised by the large number of passengers. You can also enjoy a show on board. It's perfect for couples. The night view from the upper deck of the ship is nice, but it's quite windy. My skirt kept blowing up, and I didn't know where to look.
とりあえずの到着翌日の現地ツアー予約でした。
蟹食べ放題で大満足。凄く沢山の乗客数にびっくり。船内でのショーも楽しめます。カップル達には最高ですね。船上階からの夜景もいい感じですが、風強いです。スカートめくれすぎて目のやり場困りましたよ。

It was the most casual compartment on the first deck at the stern. The food was not very good, and the portions were small. The cruise ship felt a bit old. There were few restrooms, and performers were changing in front of them one after another, making it even more difficult to use. I thought it was commensurate with the price.
I was glad to have the opportunity to see the sunset from the sea and the night view of Waikiki.
