I think it depends on the plan, but honestly, the food was about what I expected. It felt just as I imagined. However, for those who prioritize the atmosphere and scenery of the dinner cruise, even the most affordable buffet can be enjoyable! We didn't have high expectations for the food with this plan, so we finished eating in less than 30 minutes and spent the rest of the time enjoying the view from above!

Although it wasn't sunny, I was very moved by the beautiful orange sky, even though we couldn't see the sunset properly. Additionally, the staff took photos for us, and they made sure to get my partner to smile, resulting in some really great pictures! Although there is a fee, the quality is professional, so I recommend purchasing them! (Of course, you can check them first, so if you like them, it's a win!)

However, depending on the weather and wind conditions, there was more rocking than I expected that day, so I recommend taking motion sickness medication just in case. Neither my partner nor I usually get motion sickness, but we both felt a bit queasy even while enjoying the breeze outside.

晴天ではなかったので夕日はしっかり見られなかったですが、綺麗なオレンジ色の空にとても感動しました(*´ω`*)
また、スタッフの方が写真を撮って下さるのですが、写真でなかなか笑わない彼が硬くならないように笑わせて下さるのでとても良い写真が撮れました！
有料にはなりますがさすがプロなのでとても綺麗な写真になりますので購入をお勧めします！
(もちろん確認ができますので、気に入れば◎)

ただ、天気や風の状況にもよりますがこの日は思ったより揺れがありましたので念の為酔い止めを飲む事をお勧めします。
なかなか乗り物酔いしない私と彼ですが、2人とも外の風を浴びていても少し酔ってしまいました(^_^;)

I participated in the same course last December and had a great experience, so I joined the same course again this time. However, the service from the staff was so terrible that it turned into a nightmare.

There were three of us, and three chairs were prepared, but four plates were set on the table, so we asked for them to be cleared. They took a long time to respond, and another staff member kindly removed them. After that, the main staff member came to our table, glaring at us, saying things like, "I'm the one in charge" and "Don't ask anyone else." They continued to complain as they walked by (unfortunately, I had no trouble with everyday English), broke a glass, and insisted we "finish, finish" while we were still eating, as if they wanted us to hurry up. The timing of the food being served was also much slower than at other tables, and when the steak was served, we had no drinks.

The person at the next table received an apology after breaking a glass, but of course, we were ignored! In the end, we received only one survey form for the three of us, and when they took it, they slammed it down on the table. They probably crumpled the survey as well. If it weren't for being on the ship, I would have left. I was really looking forward to the last day, so it was very disappointing.

I wasted my time and money. While there may be some ups and downs with other tours, the cost of this experience was far too high. I hope for a more professional attitude in customer service. I would like to see a satisfactory explanation after reviewing the survey.

3名で参加、椅子も3脚で準備されていましたが、4人分のお皿がセットされていたため片付けをお願いしました。いっこうに片付けてくれなく別の方が快く下げてくれました。その後「担当は自分だ」「自分以外の人に頼むな」などテーブルに来てに睨み付けられ、その後も通りすがりに文句を言われたり（残念なことに日常英語には困りません）、グラスを割られたり、頂いている途中の物を「finish、finish」と捲し立てられ、まるで早く終われといわんばかりの対応。食事が運ばれるタイミングも他のテーブルよりもはるかに遅くステーキの時には飲み物なしでした。隣の席の方には、グラスを割った後謝っていましたが、勿論私たちのことは無視！最後は、アンケート用紙・・一人1枚来ている用紙も私たちには1枚。持っていくときにはテーブルを叩きつけて持っていきました。アンケートも握りつぶしているのでしょうね。船上じゃなきゃ帰っていました。最終日に楽しみにしていたのでとても残念でした。
時間とお金を無駄にしました。他のツアーにも当たり外れは多少あるのでしょうがあまりにも代償が大きすぎます。接客にもプロ意識が欲しいですね。アンケートを確認し納得のいく説明が欲しいです。

We had a participation of four parents with two girls, aged 6 and 3.

As for my impressions, the timing was just right. We started by enjoying the food on the boat.

Regarding the meal, I had no expectations for the tour food, but it was better than I thought.

We went out on the deck to enjoy the scenery and have our meal, and by the time we finished eating, the show began.

After the show, it was sunset time, which was perfect for taking photos.

In the end, we all danced together upon arrival. The experience was lively and enjoyable without any downtime. The parents were very happy as well. I think it's a perfect finale for a trip.

The food was exceptional especially considering the number of people being served. The staff was polite and very accommodating. The young entertainers interacted with the crowd and performed in their traditional attire. We came back to the port with a bang, singing and dancing. I would definitely recommend this cruise. My only disappointment was that the harbor/tower area used to be filled with shops. It was our last night on the island and it would have been nice to purchase those last minute sovereigns. Now it’s just empty with a few eateries.

It was more fun than I expected! This time, I stayed for three weeks, and this was the last tour. That said, I only organized three tours, all through Veltra. Since it was Friday, there were five buses at Aloha Landing, which shows its popularity. First, we had dinner on the Star of Honolulu. There was a service ticket for two drinks (including alcohol), and my wife was satisfied with her Blue Hawaii. We reserved a bottle of champagne but couldn't finish it. The appetizers were quite good too. The main attraction was the lobster, which I haven't had since I ate it in Los Angeles ten years ago. Compared to Ise lobster (I might get scolded by the Ise lobster), it was a bit coarse, but still quite nice. I couldn't finish the steak. The dessert cake was delicious as well. The fireworks were beautiful, but it's more impressive to watch them closer to the beach. The live show was of a pretty high level. Just listening and watching was enough, but there were also opportunities to participate, which was a lot of fun! I enjoyed it more than the price suggested. I will come again next time. Highly recommended!

This was a GREAT sunset cruise - food was good, drinks were good (and they did not even make you give in your drink tickets so not trying to get more out of you) and the show was good.

Just one thing to improve upon:
1. Seating took way too long. You know who is coming so you should have assigned seating and it should be really quick - not making people stand in stairwell for 20 minutes just to get seated

The last time I came to Hawaii, I signed up for the buffet plan, and the sunset was incredibly beautiful, making it a lot of fun. However, the people in the next room were having an even better time... so I decided that next time, I would upgrade (laughs).

I was at a loss for words due to their attitude, especially since I was looking forward to the fireworks.

It's puzzling why we couldn't meet at the designated spot, which was just the hotel parking area and not that large. The hotel staff had also told me that it was fine to wait on this bench, so I wasn't late for the meeting time.

I was able to change the date and board the boat the next day. The scenery and the food were both very good.

待ち合わせ場所はホテルの駐車スペースでそんなに広い場所でもないのに、なぜ会えなかったのか不思議でたまりません。ホテルのスタッフにも、このベンチで待っていればいいよと言われたので、こちらが待ち合わせの時間に遅れたわけでもありません。
翌日に変更してもらって船に乗ることはできました。景色も料理もとてもよかったです。

The elegant cruising experience I had imagined was quite different; it was crowded with many tourists, creating a noisy atmosphere. Seeing a dirty kitchen when boarding also lowered my mood a bit. The drinking water served had a strange taste and was undrinkable.

The Star of Honolulu sunset cruise, was awesome! My husband surprised me with the dinner cruise to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Once on board, we met and had a picture taken with the Captain. We visited with some of the staff, they were fascinated that we were American Indians. Once the cruise set off, appetizers were served and it was the beginning of the amazing 7 course dinner. Each course was better than the previous dish served. The serving staff were fantastic, took care of any needs or questions we had. The entertainment was extraordinary, from the piano player, Hawaiian dancers to the beautiful singer at the end. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend this to anyone who wants to do something very special for any occasion.

Fantastic from beginning to end

From the moment that we first interacted with staff at the shuttle bus pick-up, the whole package was seamless. Staff made the bus ride and boarding so easy that we just had to be swept along and enjoy the experience. The management on the boat was also superb, but kept personal. The Friday night fireworks just completed a beautiful night.

Dinner while watching the sunset, along with hula and live music entertainment, was all fantastic! We enjoyed everything from Mai Tais to roast beef, salad, and dessert. The staff were all kind, and we had a wonderful time.
