This was an amazing experience! I went with a group of friends and we all loved the environment of the cruise ship. The food was pretty amazing and the live jazz performance was very enjoyable. My favorite was definitely the Polynesian live dance performance. This 30-minute performance was the highlight of the night. The dancers wouldn't just perform, they would interact with the audience by giving high fives, springing peace signs at unexpected times and made our corner of the ship laugh the entire time. If you get seasick easily, I would recommend taking some kind of precaution/medication (the servers were able to provide some medication, too) since a few of my friends did start feeling queasy for a little bit and had to spend some time on the lower deck. However, don't let motion sickness keep you from the cruise! It was still altogether wonderful time.

We cruised from Aloha Tower towards Diamond Head, allowing us to enjoy a close view of Diamond Head from the sea. By the time we turned back, it was sunset, and I was satisfied with the many beautiful photos I took from the terrace. The tropical welcome drink, food, and dessert were all delicious. We also got to see the show right in front of us. The Polynesian dance performed by the men was particularly powerful and impressive.

I participated in the much-talked-about Sunset Dinner Cruise for the first time this time. I used the 3-star + window seat option + photos + transportation, and I was glad I chose the window seat option. Basically, you end up sharing a round table with other tour guests. Since it’s the most popular 3-star option, most of the seats were filled, but the food was served efficiently, so I had no complaints. Above all, the stage program was entertaining and lively, making it enjoyable. There were quite a few newlyweds on the cruise, so I recommend it as a memorable experience.

I couldn't get a reservation for the Star of Honolulu, so I booked this one instead. It felt a bit smaller than the Star of Honolulu (the Star of Honolulu has four decks, while the Majestic has three).

I had a meal in the first-floor seating, and while the buffet menu was generally good, I couldn't eat the mushrooms or drink the water. The mushrooms tasted like they were rehydrated from powder and weren't good, and the water had a chlorine smell (the American elderly couple at my table complained about it as well). There was live music on the second floor, which was played over the ship's speakers. It seemed to feature quite a bit of older country music. Songs like "Stand By Me" had everyone on board singing along, creating a nice atmosphere. The third floor was the only open deck.

The fireworks lasted about five minutes, which was a nice way to wrap up the cruise. It seemed like the Star of Honolulu was anchored off Diamond Head the whole time, but this one was cruising around, which was a plus.

スターオブホノルル号は、ダイヤモンドヘッド沖にずっと停泊しているようでしたが、こちらはずっとクルーズしていたのも○。

I considered various locations to watch the fireworks limited to Friday, but to secure a spot, I signed up for this tour. As the meeting time approached, the meeting place was extremely crowded with people participating in the same tour, and I wondered how it would turn out. However, once we boarded the bus and arrived at the port for departure, we were smoothly guided to our seats on the boat.

We took our plates from the dinner buffet in order from the nearest seats, and when everyone had finished, the hula show began. We enjoyed various hula performances with changing songs and costumes. The fireworks started right at 8:00 PM. For about five minutes, watching the fireworks and the night view from the boat was truly an amazing experience.

I signed up for the buffet course, but the live performance was only held on the second floor, and we were seated on the first floor, so we couldn't enjoy the performance. After finishing our meal, we were on the deck on the third floor, but I felt that the all-you-can-eat appetizers and drinks course might have been better. However, the fireworks on Friday were wonderful. It was truly a luxurious time.

The sunset dinner was truly a great experience. Everything was very well organized. We were served champagne to begin with and helped ourselves to fresh cheese, crackers and fruit trays. And those were left out for everyone the entire trip, which is beneficial when you have kids who might not like the whole dinner but still want to eat something. The entire dinner was fresh and tasty, and plentiful. Beverages were refilled as necessary but there weren't a lot of soda options. The sunset was beautiful. You just have to keep watch for the ideal time to take pictures of your experience. The entertainment was great, with music and dancers. Great experience overall!!

I usually avoid these typical places, but this one was quite entertaining.
Honestly, I didn't expect much from the food, but the crab was delicious.
I was pretty much silent while eating, and there was unlimited refills.
Since I was eating crab, I completely ignored the show and the scenery.
Actually, the sunset only lasts about 20-30 minutes, so I wasn't sure which was the main attraction, but I did manage to get some nice photos of the sunset.
There were fewer Japanese people, and it was a mix of people from various countries, so I enjoyed the overseas vibe in Hawaii more than in Waikiki.

As mentioned in other reviews, the cruise turned out to be the worst due to troubles with the shuttle service, ruining what was supposed to be a wonderful trip. I arrived at the designated location 15 minutes early and showed my voucher to the staff in cruise uniforms near the bus that was parked at the bus stop, but I was told to wait in the waiting room and was left unattended even after the scheduled time had passed. I showed my voucher again since other tour guests from different travel agencies were being picked up, but I received the same response that the driver would come in and call me, so I should just sit and wait in the waiting room. I complied quietly, but there was no announcement or call, and after 10 minutes past the scheduled time, I became extremely anxious. I called the Japanese support line for VELTRA, but was told that there was no one who could speak Japanese at the moment and that my name was not on the reservation. I persisted, and it seemed they called the staff at the pickup point, and finally, my name was called, allowing me to board somehow. Meanwhile, I received a follow-up email from VELTRA stating, "We received a notification from the cruise company that we would depart if we couldn't meet you on time, and refunds are not possible in case of cancellation," which only added to my anger. It was a cruise experience that left me feeling utterly frustrated.

I wanted to ride the Star of Honolulu, but after seeing reviews about the buffet being overcrowded, I chose this one instead. It was a good decision as we were shown to our reserved seats and it wasn't cramped at all!

The Atlantis is three stories tall. There was a photo opportunity before the cruise, and you can purchase the photos later. (You can choose between just photos or photos & data, and I recommend the photos & data option. You can check the data via email right away.)

I made a reservation for the dinner buffet instead of just appetizers. We were seated on the second floor, which is recommended because there are hula shows and live performances. Plus, our seats were close to the show! I was able to dance with the dancers, which made for a great memory.

Although the selection of the buffet was limited, I still ended up quite full. Additionally, each table has a designated server, so you can order drinks from them, but the drinks do take a little while to arrive. When ordering drinks, you have to leave your credit card with them until the check is settled, which was a bit nerve-wracking... I think there might have been other options, but I can't remember. Fortunately, nothing went wrong.

Before the fireworks, we went out to the deck to watch, and after the fireworks, we returned to the second floor for a finale interactive dance show with the staff.

In the end, everyone got excited, and it was a lot of fun! It became a wonderful memory!

スターオブホノルルに乗りたかったのですが、ビュッフェ形式のランクものは、ギュウギュウに詰め込まれるという口コミを見て、こちらにしました。
予約席に通してもらえ、ギュウギュウ詰めにもならず、正解でした！

アトランティスは3階建て。
クルーズ前に写真撮影があり、後から購入できます。
（写真のみと写真&データ購入が選べるので、写真&データがオススメ。メールでデータがすぐに確認できます。）

アペタイザーではなく、ディナービュッフェで予約。
通されたのは2階席でした。
2階席は、フラショーや生演奏があるのでオススメです。しかも、ショーに近い席でした！
ダンサーさんと一緒に踊ることができ、いい思い出となりました。

ビュッフェの数は少ないですが、けっこうお腹いっぱいになります。
また、テーブルごとに担当者がつくので、ドリンクはその方に頼めばいいのですが、ドリンクが出てくるのは若干遅いです。
ドリンクを注文する時は、クレジットカードを最初からチェックするまでずっと預けるのですが、これが少し怖かったです…他にも方法があったと思うのですが、覚えておりません。
一応、何事もなかったです。

花火の前にはデッキへ出て鑑賞し、花火鑑賞後に、また2階席に戻ると、スタッフの方々とフィナーレの参加型ダンスショーがありました。

最後はみんなで盛り上がって、とても楽しかったです！いい思い出になりました！

On the last day, I participated with my mother. The ship was quite crowded, but I was excited to see how popular this tour is, with so many people joining every day. The first sparkling wine can be hard to get unless you call the waiter, so don't hesitate to ask for it. The breathtaking views were a feast for the eyes, and the food was delicious. Everyone danced at the end, and my mother was very happy and enjoyed it a lot. The whole lobster was a bit difficult to eat, but it was a good experience. I recommend this for a memorable last day in Hawaii.
