The weather was also nice, and we could enjoy the view of the town from the sea, making it a pleasant cruise overall!

The morning meeting time was just right, and we were able to do the zipline option in the afternoon. The boat was large, so I didn't get seasick, which made it really enjoyable! I didn't see the big whale I was hoping for, but I did see a baby whale. Next time, I want to participate again hoping to see a big adult whale!

I was really happy to capture the tail fin flapping on video while I was prepared to film! If the weather had been nice, I would have wanted to go outside to see, but since it was raining this time, I watched from indoors. However, it was still visible from inside, so the rain wasn't too much of a concern. In that sense, it was a fun activity even in rainy weather, so I was glad. I would like to go again when I visit in winter!

Since I was staying at Hilton Hawaiian Village, I went directly to the meeting place. Please note that there is no office at the meeting location. I used Google Maps for navigation, and there were both Japanese and foreign participants. Drinks and snacks were provided as we departed. The yacht ride was comfortable, and we enjoyed views of Diamond Head and Oahu from the ocean side, which are not usually seen during sunset. There was plenty of time to enter the water, but I didn't go in because I didn't bring a snorkel, there didn't seem to be many fish, and it looked cold. However, those who did go in seemed to be having a great time floating around. If I had brought a snorkel, I might have gone in since I enjoy seeing underwater. On the way back, it felt quite cool due to the wind, so I think it's essential to have something to wear, especially during this season.

I participated in early February. Unfortunately, we didn't see any whales and just ended up cruising. I was really hoping to see whales, so it was disappointing. They did issue a free boarding ticket for the next time, but it only covers the boarding, and you have to pay for the trip to the location yourself. Due to scheduling conflicts, I had to give up on it. I think those who are planning to participate should consider their schedule in case they don't see any whales.

Since I went to Hawaii in February, I decided to go whale watching, which is something you can only do during this time of year.

I read many reviews saying that people didn't see any whales, so I boarded the boat with a mindset of "Well, it would be nice to see a whale if we do." However, my skeptical expectations were wonderfully betrayed, and I was able to encounter a mother and calf whale multiple times!! The participants were multinational. The crew spoke English, but there was no language barrier. They did a great job of keeping the atmosphere lively. There was a wide variety of drinks, and the sunset over Waikiki from the sea was amazing. I would love to go again. However, when you drink, you will need to go to the restroom... Be sure to take care of that before boarding. It seems there is a restroom in the bottom of the boat in case of emergencies. Just let the crew know.
