We chartered a boat for a family trip with three generations, totaling nine people. We booked the two-hour course, which turned out to be just the right amount of time to relax and enjoy meals on board. However, if you plan to have a longer meal on the boat, a longer course might be better.

We brought takeout food and drinks with us, but there were plenty of utensils provided, and it was helpful that cold drinking water was available. There was also a cooler on board, so we could keep our drinks and fruits chilled. There were two restrooms available, and we were able to bring a stroller on board as well. Although we didn't use it, there was also a microwave (or oven?!) available.

From the boat, you can see Waikiki and Diamond Head. The time spent lying outside while enjoying the panoramic view was absolutely the best!

The boat arrived at the dock about 15 minutes before the departure time. Since there isn't a waiting area like a terminal near the dock, it might be better not to arrive too early.

クーラーボックスも設置されているので、飲み物やフルーツなどは冷やしておくこともできます。
トイレは2か所ありました。
ベビーカーも積み込むことができました。
使用してはいませんが、電子レンジ(オーブン?!)もありました。

船上からはワイキキやダイヤモンドヘッドを見ることができます。
特に屋外で寝転がりながらパノラマビューを見ながら過ごす時間は最高でした!

船は出発時刻の15分くらい前に桟橋にやってきました。
桟橋付近にはターミナルのような待つ場所がないので、あまり早めに行かない方がいいかもしれません。

I participated five years ago and had such a great time that this time I joined with my parents and my brother's family, a total of ten people. The view of the Waikiki hotel district from the ocean side was refreshing, and we could see Diamond Head up close. The sunset was incredibly beautiful. The kids and my father had so much fun and were very happy, saying they want to participate again.

This time the waves were high, and I got a little seasick, but that's also a good memory.

The arrangements for the bus and boarding by Veltra were perfect, allowing us to participate without any confusion. Since we boarded in mid-August, the interior of the ship was rather warm before departure, and even out at sea, a jacket was unnecessary. The entertainment in the first half, featuring Tahitian and hula dances, exceeded our expectations, and we were impressed by the professionalism of the waitstaff, who sang and danced in their costumes. In the second half, there was an interactive show set to music from the 70s and 80s, with some people getting into the spirit while others just watched. The ship's windows were large and open, allowing us to enjoy the sunset, Diamond Head, and the hotels of Waikiki from our seats at the table.

We received amazing service my wife and I! We celebrated our 1 month anniversary being married and Armando took outstanding care of us and we had such an amazing time. At the very end of the night we were pleasantly surprised with the song we played for our first dance on our wedding day, we were invited to dance up front and the servers were so enthusiastic and fun the entire time. 11/10 would recommend to a friend and we will be returning next special occasion!!

The Star of Honolulu was awesome… what a great time me and my wife had… nice big ship lots of room… and what a show at the end… they do a great job getting us all in position out on the water for the sunset. I would highly recommend this option for a dinner sunset cruise… plenty of helpful staff and dinner service was superb…!!!!
