Upon arrival, I was first guided to a buffet of fruits and cheese. The cruise offered a beautiful view of the sunset sinking on the horizon. At night, the view of the city from the high-rise hotel was very beautiful.

I had always wanted to go whale watching, so when I finally came to Hawaii after five years, I quickly signed up for a tour. Since it’s a natural experience, I thought it would be lucky if I got to see a whale, but I also had the desire to actually encounter one. I spent two hours on deck searching for whales, but the result was just a brief glimpse of a back and a fluke... it was disappointing.

However, right after boarding, I was able to see a huge rainbow over the ocean, and I also got to see the view of Diamond Head that can only be seen from the sea, which was amazing. The banana bread was moist and delicious as well.

If I have the chance again, I would love to participate and hopefully see a whale breach next time.

一度はホエールウォッチングに行ってみたいと思っていたので､5年ぶりにハワイに来ることになり早速申し込みをしました。自然との闘いなのでクジラに出会えればラッキーと思いつつ､でもせっかくなら出会いたいという欲望もあって2時間は甲板でクジラを探しましたが､結果はほんの一瞬だけ背中と腹びれが見えただけ･･･残念でした。
でも乗船してすぐに海にかかる大きな虹を見ることが出来たり､海からしか見られないダイヤモンドヘッドの姿も見ることが出来て最高でした。
バナナブレッドもしっとりとして美味しかったです。
また機会があったら参加して、今度はクジラのジャブを見てみたいです。

After the meal, the night view of the hotel cluster in Waikiki from offshore was wonderful. It's worth seeing from a different perspective. Additionally, the hula show held on board is also a fun experience that involves the guests.

While we strained our eyes looking out to sea, we sadly didn’t spot any whales, perhaps they were on their New Year’s break. However, we were able to leisurely enjoy the views of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the ocean, making for a refreshing cruise. Due to scheduling conflicts, I didn’t receive the next free boarding voucher, but many others did. If the opportunity arises again, I would love to participate.

Food was delicious, entertainment beautiful. We had a 2 yo with us and while they provided orange juice for him as his complimentary drink, he received no fork or napkin. When we asked for one, the waiter said he would see if he could find one and never came back. There were also dinner rolls in the table for all except the child. We were told we had to share ours with him.

Cruise was ok.. but not worth the price. The food was ok as some was good and desserts were bad. It was a buffet so you can go back for second of u liked it. No need to dress up. Everyone was in shorts and beach type clothes. .. will I tell someone to do the cruise again- absolutely not. Keep your money. Now the sun set price on the boat was the best thing going it cost $30.. they give u a cool frame . But technically I had the same picture on my phone ..

Before boarding, I thought the cost of USD 80 per person was a bit high, but it turned out to be an incredibly satisfying experience. The night view of Waikiki from the boat, the Hilton fireworks, and the starry sky were all amazing. The boat rotates so that you can enjoy the view from either side.

I wore a light shirt over my swimsuit, but it got a bit cold towards the end. A fellow passenger sitting next to me offered me a bath towel to cover up. Overall, the atmosphere, including the crew, was very pleasant.

With illegal fireworks killing and injuring people all over Oahu, it was great to be out on the water aboard the Star of Honolulu for its New Year's Eve cruise. The surf and turf dinner was excellent, as was the live entertainment. Beverage service was quite slow; the large number of diners ordering beverages simultaneously clearly overloaded the staff. Prospective participants need to be prepared for the fact that in order to see the midnight fireworks better, hundreds of attendees move to one side of the boat causing it to tilt quite a bit. But that was the only detectable motion; even people with motion sickness could take this cruise. I had a good time and would do it again. The event was a good value, too.

The smiling crew guided us on board, and once we were seated, we were served banana bread along with coffee and tea. After departure, we enjoyed a humorous talk about whales by a naturalist, and then we went out on deck to take in the beautiful blue ocean and the views of Oahu from the sea that we don't usually get to see. Although we didn't encounter any whales, the informative announcements about whales and the Hawaiian sea kept us entertained throughout the cruise. A free voucher for a re-challenge was issued, so I definitely want to return to Hawaii again.

This is my second time! I thought the same last time, the food is delicious♪ Everything I ate was tasty, but the lobster is definitely the best🦞 The show was wonderful, and the staff provided excellent service; everything was perfect. I was very satisfied to see the sunset and fireworks.

This time, it might have been a bit early in the season, but we persevered and managed to catch a glimpse of a whale swimming just at the last moment. We were able to see a honu and what I think was a flying fish, and the sea breeze felt wonderful! That's what my partner said.

今回は少し時期が早いのか中々見られずでしたが、ギリギリまで粘って探してくださり少しだけクジラの泳ぐ姿を見れました。

ロブスターにステーキのフルコース、シャンパンにカクテルもついて良かったです。
