I thought I would probably never experience a cruise in Japan unless something special happened, so I participated as a memorable dinner during my trip. With a three-star booking, I was able to enjoy a beautiful view, oversized lobsters, and delicious steaks! I was also happy to have two drinks included. This was my third time on the Sunset Sailing Mai Tai Catamaran, and for the first time, I saw other Japanese participants besides ourselves.

It's a nice and relaxing dinner cruise. The price is great and they have free pick-up from Waikiki. I had dinner on the top deck and the views from Waikiki are amazing. The food was good and the steak was freshly grilled for us. We got welcome drinks and there are other drinks available for purchase. The boat is spacious and the crew was very friendly. They played local music, there's a hula girl, ukulele player and even fire knife dance at the end. Thank you Capt. Chuck & Capt. Tiger for being such great hosts, my friend and I had a great time at the Prince Kuhio.

The 5-star and 3-star plans were fully booked, so I chose this course. The buffet was more delicious than I expected. There were fruits, coffee, and desserts as well. Basically, a man sings solo, and along with that, a lovely lady and two men perform hula dances. In another room, groups were dancing hula and it was quite lively. At the end, it was fun to dance in a circle with people from various countries. During the fireworks, going up to the deck on the ship to enjoy the view of the night scenery and fireworks is beautiful. Since the wind is strong, I recommend bringing a thicker outer layer.

The Sunset Dinner Cruise on the Star of Honolulu offered a variety of experiences, but since the full course can be quite filling, my favorite is definitely the Pacific Star. If you're unsure, I think it's fine to choose based on your appetite. However, the live performances during the meal on the 5 and 3 Star are indeed luxurious. All the stars have excellent service from the staff, making for an enjoyable time. As for transportation, while it does come at a cost, I recommend the option with pick-up as it's convenient.
