I participated in the all-you-can-eat steak and crab course. There was a mistake with my reservation, and I had to add one more person at the last minute, but the process was smooth, so thank you. The food was a bit disappointing as the crab was too salty, but the show was very exciting and fun. Since it was Friday, the fireworks lasted about five minutes, but they were beautiful. The deck was quite windy and cold, so a thick jacket is necessary. The shuttle was also a nice bus. I had a wonderful time.

I participated at the end of January, having seen reviews beforehand, and thought, "If I get to see it, that would be lucky☆". As the reviews said, I couldn't see it, but since it was raining until the boat departed, there was a rainbow throughout the tour. Once we got out to sea, there wasn't a single cloud in the sky, and we were able to see a very magical rainbow (and it was a double rainbow! Plus, it was huge!) against the blue sky and vast ocean. Personally, since I got to see the rainbow, I found it quite enjoyable (laughs).

**[What I Liked About This Tour]**
The breakfast was more delicious than I expected. There were bread, white rice, scrambled eggs, sausages, and more... I thought it was very Japanese-friendly with ketchup and soy sauce available.

**[Advice for Future Participants]**
I recommend boarding the boat as soon as possible after getting off the bus. The window seats are popular, so everyone was vying for them. They take your picture before boarding and come around to sell it during the trip. I don't remember the exact amount, but it seemed to be around $20 to $30. By the way, we prepared a tip before disembarking, but there was no tip box, and we didn't have a chance to meet the staff or captain when getting off, so there was no timing to give it.

「見れたらラッキー☆」くらいで参加しました。
口コミ通り見ることは出来ませんでしたが
船の出発まで雨が降っていたこともありツアー中ずっと虹が出ており
沖まで行けば雲一つない快晴でしたので青い空と広大な海に
とても幻想的な虹（しかも２重！そしてデカい！）が見れました。
私的には虹が見れたので、まぁまぁ楽しかったです（笑）


【このツアーで気に入ったところ】
思っていた以上に朝食が美味しかったです。
パン・白ご飯・スクランブルエッグ・ソーセージなど・・・
ケチャップやしょうゆもあり日本人好みだな～と思いました。


【これから参加する人へのアドバイス】
バスから降りたあとはなるべく早めに乗船することをオススメします。
やはり窓際の席は人気があるためみなさん取り合いでした。
乗船前に写真を撮ってくださり乗船中に売りに来てくれます。
はっきりとした金額は覚えてませんが20ドル～30ドルくらいだったような。
ちなみに私たちはチップを用意して下船しましたが
チップを入れる箱もなく下船の際にスタッフやキャプテンとも
顔を合わせることがなかったため渡すタイミングがありませんでした。

While I was having lunch on the first floor, a whale suddenly appeared much closer. I've heard that whale watching can be a matter of luck, but I think we were definitely lucky that day. The scenery was breathtaking, and the buffet and cultural experiences were great as well.

I participated in the Sunset Dinner Cruise (All-you-can-eat crab & steak) course.
It was cloudy on the day, so the sunset wasn't great, but since it was Friday, the fireworks from the Hilton were truly wonderful. I was surprised by the number of passengers, which was more than I had imagined; the dining experience felt more like a crowded and noisy banquet than a dinner cruise.
It wasn't really a leisurely meal...
We enjoyed the fireworks on the deck (it was cold, so my jacket came in handy).
After that, we had a great time with shows and dancing inside the ship.

I participated in the 5-star course. I joined with a bit of nervousness, but the transition from the shuttle bus to boarding, the welcome drink, the photo with the captain, and the guidance to our seats were all very smooth. The course meal, along with three types of cocktails and wine, was delicious as expected. Each dish highlighted the flavors of the ingredients, and the presentation was beautiful. The cold dishes and sorbet were served with chilled forks and spoons wrapped in napkins, which truly reflected the 5-star experience.

What stands out in my memory is the changing colors of the sky and the night view of Honolulu from our seats on the boat, along with the silhouette of Diamond Head. Fortunately, I was able to see a rainbow rising from Diamond Head along with the sunset, making it a Sunset-Rainbow Dinner Cruise.

During the bright appetizer course, there was Hawaiian music, and as the sun set, we enjoyed lobster with jazz piano performance. For the main meat dish, there was a jazz live performance, and by that time, it had become completely dark.

It was a wonderful presentation where scenery, food, and music harmonized beautifully. Everyone, the 5-star experience has a dress code, which might make choosing an outfit a bit challenging, but I found it easy to participate by dressing up a little more than usual. 振り返って目に浮かぶのは、船の席から観える刻々変わる空の色とホノルルの夜景、ダイヤモンドヘッドの山の稜線でした。今回は幸運にも夕日に加えてダイヤモンドヘッドから立ち上がる虹を見ることができ、Sunset-Rainbow Dinner Cruiseでした。
景色の明るい前菜時にはハワイアン、夕日の日没時はロブスターにジャズのピアノ演奏、メインのお肉料理にはジャスライブ、その頃には辺りはすっかり暗くなっていました。
景色料理音楽が上手く調和した素晴らしい演出でした。
皆さん、5Starはドレスコードありで、洋服が迷われると思いますが、いつもより少しおしゃれをするくらいで気軽に参加出来ました。デッキに出ると風が強いですが、寒くはなかったです。

We had a wonderful evening aboard the Star of Honolulu! And although we chose the least expensive option -- the Casual Dinner Buffet, the service was excellent, as was the food. The staff was welcoming and attentive. The Polynesian performance added a touch of magic to the evening. The views of Waikiki and the sunset were spectacular. Overall, an enchanting evening which I highly recommend. I plan to cruise again with Star of Honolulu on my next trip!

I was planning to give it 5 stars based on the reviews, but since it was already fully booked the day before, I participated with 3 stars. Therefore, my expectations weren't high, but I ended up having a more enjoyable time than I imagined.

To have a better experience, here are some points to keep in mind:
1. You should board as early as possible after check-in. Seating is determined on a first-come, first-served basis. I felt that there were seats where it was difficult to see the show or the scenery. I think it's better to board early to secure a good seat.
2. Allow plenty of time. The scheduled end time was 7:30 PM, but we didn't start disembarking until 8 PM. I think it's best not to schedule anything immediately afterward.

I also had a great time talking with a family that came from Alaska. However, when the sails were lowered, it became quite windy, so a jacket is a must.

I had a great time. Honestly, one of the highlights of my trip. I met some awesome people on the cruise. The only suggestion I would make is to have it be like a real bar in which people can drink what they want. There wasn’t a good variety of drinks for $60 per person but it was still an awesome experience. However the staff had great customer service skills and I’m all about that. Austin the bartender was dope! The most I’ve ever tipped a bartender in my life.

I set this for the last day of my trip. First, the bus's air conditioning was too cold. From the assigned seat, I couldn't see the stage. The boat wasn't cleaned. I had a window seat, but the window hadn't been cleaned. A child took out all the sugar packets from the sugar container, and when I looked at the bottom of the container to clean it up, it was covered in mold. The sugar and cream looked so old that I couldn't tell how long they had been there. The food wasn't tasty either. I was puzzled as to why this tour was ranked number one on VELTRA.

旅行最後の日に設定しました。まずバスの空調が寒すぎ。案内された席からはステージが見えない。船が清掃されていない。窓側の席だったのですが、窓の掃除がされていない。子供が砂糖入れの砂糖袋を全部出してしまったのでかたずけようとその砂糖入れの底をみるとかびだらけ。砂糖とクリームはいつのものかわからないほど古そうでした。食事もおいしくない。どうしてこのツアーがVELTRAで1位なのかが不思議でした。

I used the 3 Star service. The meeting time is 4:45 PM and departure is at 5:30 PM, but if you don't have a reserved seating plan, seats will fill up in the order of arrival. It's better to arrive by the meeting time so you can enjoy some fruit while waiting for departure. After setting sail, there was a lot of entertainment, and the food was good. When I went downstairs to the restroom, I passed by the crab and buffet plan seats, and I could definitely feel the difference that comes with the price of the 3 Star service.

3スターにて利用しました。16時45分集合17時半出航ですが、席指定プランでなければ来た順に席が埋まって行くので、着いたら果物など食べながら出航待ちできるので、集合時間には行った方がいいです。出航後は盛りだくさんのエンターテイメント内容で、お料理も良かったです。お手洗いに階下に降りた際、カニかビュッフェプラン席の横を通りましたが、席の感じはやはり3スターのお金を出しただけの差は感じました。

The cruise was beautiful, the staff were very friendly and the duration of the trip was good. It was nice to receive a nice welcome and get a complimentary drink with the trip. The selection of the food was ok. Overall it was a nice experience and I would do it again.

The fish dishes and chicken were delicious, and the roast beef was excellent. My sixth-grade child ate a lot and enjoyed watching Hawaiian dance, dancing together, and taking plenty of photos on the deck. Unfortunately, it was drizzling, but we had a great time and I’m glad we participated.

でしたが、魚料理、チキンも美味しく、ローストビーフも最高でした。
小学校6年の子もお腹いっぱいしっかり食べ、ハワイアンダンスをみたり、一緒に踊ったり、デッキで写真をとりまくったり。
あいにく小雨が降ってましたが、充分楽しめたし参加して良かったと思います。

It was my first time in Hawaii and my first whale watching experience. Towards the end of the cruise, I finally saw a couple of small, cute spouts and just a glimpse of one tail. It seems some people missed the tail. During the cruise, they provided commentary about the whales and the scenery, which kept us entertained. We also got to see a big rainbow after a light rain, so that was a nice bonus.

初ハワイの初ホエールウォッチングでした。
クルーズ後半にやっと小さめの可愛らしい潮吹き(２匹のよう)と、１匹の尾びれだけチラッと見えました。尾びれは見逃した方もいたよう。クルーズ中は、鯨の生体や景色の事を放送し、退屈しないようしてくれてました。小雨後の大きな虹見れたのでとりあえず○
