I recommend Friday because of the fireworks at Hilton. The food was mediocre, but the atmosphere was nice, and I enjoyed it to some extent.
ヒルトンの花火があがるので、金曜日がおすすめです。料理はイマイチでしたが、雰囲気があって、それなりに楽しめました。

On the first night of my arrival in Hawaii, I wasn't very familiar with the hotel, so I mistakenly went to the wrong meeting place (it would have been nice to have a more detailed map of the meeting location since there were multiple entrances to the hotel). I ended up missing the bus and had to take a taxi, but I managed to arrive just in time for the departure and was able to participate without any issues.
I didn't have high expectations for the buffet food, but the show on board was impressive and very engaging as we could watch it right in front of us.
Since it was a sunset cruise on a Friday, we also got to see fireworks, which made for a satisfying experience.
The boat rocked more than I expected, and since the cruise was quite long, I think those who are prone to motion sickness should take precautions. However, I didn't see anyone around me looking unwell.
ハワイ到着初日の夜でホテルの中もまだよくわかってなかった為、集合場所を間違えてしまい（ホテルの出入り口複数あったのでもう少し集合場所の詳しい地図があるとよかったなあ・・・）バスに乗り遅れタクシーでなんとか出航時刻に間に合う時間に到着、無事に参加出来ました。
ビュッフェの料理はあまり期待出来ませんが船内でのショーは目の前で観覧できとても迫力がありよかったです。
サンセットや金曜日だったので花火も見れて満足なクルーズでした。
思ったより船が揺れるのと、時間も長いので乗り物に弱い方は対策をした方がいいと思います。でも周りに具合が悪そうな方はいなかったです

Just when I thought the sunset would be ruined by the clouds, they cleared up for about ten minutes at the perfect moment, allowing us to see a beautiful sunset. One of the grandmothers said she couldn't finish the full course, so we chose the buffet. Whether it was the quality of the passengers or the wonderful hospitality of the crew, the atmosphere was lively despite the vocals being a bit lacking, and the two grandmothers were very satisfied. The opinions of the two grandmothers are everything for the two grandfathers on this trip. Thanks to that, I was able to sleep soundly that night.
雲がかかってせっかくのサンセットが、と思っていた瞬間10分強、ベストなタイミングで雲が切れ美しい日没がみられました。フルコースは食べきれないとババの一人が申しましたのでビュッフェを選びましたが、乗船客が良かったのか、クルーのホスピタリティーが素晴らしかったのか、ボーカルはいまいちでしたが、それなりに盛り上がり、ババ2名は大変満足しておりました。ババ2名の評価はジジ2名にとって旅行のすべてです。おかげ様で当日は枕を高くして眠ることができました。

I was fine when I participated over 10 years ago, but this time I got seasick. The foreign person next to me seemed to be even more affected by seasickness. It's a relatively large three-story boat, but those who are not good with boats should be careful. Since it's quite far from the center of Waikiki, I requested a shuttle service and paid an extra fee to get a window seat. This time, I chose the 3-star course, but I could hardly eat due to seasickness. The taste was quite bland. During the cruise, I happened to see a whale jump. The weather was nice, and the scenery was beautiful, so now the seasickness is a good memory (laughs). Compared to my last visit, I feel that the level of staff service and the clientele has dropped a bit, but I still enjoyed the show!

隣の外国の方のほうが、船酔いのげんなり度がすごかったです。3階建ての比較的大きな船ですが、船が苦手な人は気を付けたほうが良いかもしれません。
ワイキキの中心から距離があるので送迎をお願いし、追加料金で席も窓側にしてもらいました。
今回は3スターのコースでしたが、船酔いでほぼ食べれずでした。
味は大味です。
クルージング途中に偶然クジラがジャンプした瞬間が見れました。
天気も良く、景色も良かったので、船酔いも今となっては良い思い出です(笑)
前回参加した時に比べると、スタッフのサービスも客層のレベルも少し落ちた気がしますが、ショーも楽しめました！

Since I was traveling with my 5-year-old son, we chose the cheapest buffet option. The dishes featured a lot of vegetables from Hawaii, which I think would be appreciated by women. I was surprised to find yakisoba and white rice available. Overall, the food isn't extremely high quality or diverse, but it’s enough to fill you up. I was shocked at how expensive the drinks were... (soft drinks $5, alcohol $10). The dance show after sunset was surprisingly long, and the dancers changing costumes one after another was quite a sight to see.
5歳の息子を連れての旅行だったので、一番安いビュッフェコースにしました。
料理はハワイ産の野菜が多く、女性には嬉しいかなと思います。
焼きそばや白米があったのは意外でした。
料理全般的にはものすごいクオリティが高いわけでも種類が豊富なわけでもないですが、十分お腹がいっぱいになります。
ドリンクが高いのがビックリでした…（ソフトドリンク$5、アルコール＄10）
日が落ちてからのダンスショーが意外と長く、次から次へと衣装を変えて踊るダンサーは見ものです。

I was unsure about sightseeing in Hawaii since I had elderly parents with me, but the dinner cruise seemed to be quite good for them. They were picked up by a limousine from the hotel, enjoyed the beautiful scenery, and the food was great as well. Conversations that might have become monotonous with just family were lively, and there were many Japanese people around, which made it enjoyable for my elderly parents. It was a very satisfying dinner cruise. I highly recommend it.
高齢の両親もいたのでハワイの観光に迷っていたのですが、ディナークルーズは両親的にはかなり良かったようです。
ホテルからリムジンで送迎してもらい景色もよく食事も良かったとのこと。家族だけではマンネリする会話もいろいろ話しかけられ周りも日本人も多く高齢の両親的には楽しかったそうです。大変満足したディナークルーズでした。おすすめです。

The reception was a bit hard to find, and I had to search for it a little. First, I moved to a spot where I could see the fireworks well and enjoyed a drink (most people had Mai Tais) while watching the fireworks. The wind was calm, and I had a pleasant time. After the fireworks ended, we went sailing out to Diamond Head and circled back to in front of the Sheraton. As we moved away from the lights of Honolulu, the stars became beautifully visible.
受付は少し分かり辛く、ちょっと探してしまいました。
まずは花火が良く見える場所まで移動しドリンク（ほとんどの方がマイタイでした）を頂きながら花火を鑑賞。風も穏やかで気持ちの良い時間を過ごせました。花火が終わると、ダイヤモンドヘッド沖までセーリングし、ぐるっと回ってシェラトン前まで戻ります。
ホノルルの光から遠ざかるので星もきれいに見えます。

The price, service, and food are quite cheap for being on a ship.
The levels and spaces are separated by rank. I was in the cheapest area, but honestly, the MC (master of ceremonies) didn't have enough energy to really get the crowd going, making it difficult to create a lively atmosphere. The hula dancers seemed to struggle without the MC's support for that party vibe.
The area next to us, which was one rank higher, had a great MC and was really lively! I can't say much from the lowest rank, but if the music and MC in our area were as good as in the neighboring area, I think everyone would leave the Star of Honolulu feeling moved.
The MC was just an old man with a ukulele, leaning back and reading in a low tone, while next door, the music and MC were really energizing.

There were more Japanese participants than I expected.
Since it wasn't a large ship, there were times when we got splashed by the waves, but in some areas, we didn't get wet.
The sunset was beautiful because the weather was nice, and I could see it very clearly while holding a Mai Tai!
Next time, I would like to participate when I can see the fireworks on Friday.

King Kamehameha and Elvis Presley must have loved this sunset too.
We went out to sea on a large boat and waited for the sun to set. Ah, a happy moment with family.
Throughout the sunset, there was Polynesian dance and music on board. In the second half, everyone participated and danced along with the choreography.
It was a tour that kept us engaged the whole time.
I didn't have high expectations for the food, so I opted for the buffet, but the atmosphere alone was more than enough.
Above all, that sunset became an unforgettable memory.
I believe it will be an experience that the kids will never forget, even when they grow up.

As soon as we set off, we spotted a pod of dolphins, which made me think we were off to a good start. However, after that, we didn't see anything and it ended there. Given the high expectations, it was disappointing not to see any whales, and the experience ended up being boring. We gathered quite early, and after boarding, we had to wait for over 30 minutes, which was tough with kids. However, we were happy to see a large group of dolphins right after we set sail, although we didn't spot any whales. I really appreciated how hard the captain worked to take us around and how the crew was considerate towards the children; it felt very thoughtful. After disembarking, the return journey was smooth, but I thought it would have been nice to have a little time for shopping.
随分早めの集合なのか、乗船してからぼんやり待つ時間30分以上でした。子連れには辛いですが、、出航してすぐにイルカの大群が見れてハッピーでしたが鯨みえず。
でも船長さんがかなり頑張ってあちこち飛ばしてくれたり船員の方が子供に気遣いしてくれているのはすごくわかり良心的だと思いました。
降りてからはさくさく帰路なんですがちょいとショッピングの時間が取れてもよいかもと思いました。

I thought it would be lucky if I could see a whale, but about an hour after boarding, I encountered a mother and baby whale! I even got to see them jump, and they came quite close, which was incredibly exciting.
I also had the opportunity to experience cultural activities like making leis and playing the ukulele, and I was able to participate in two or three of them as time allowed!

We participated as a couple with our 12-year-old, 7-year-old, and 4-year-old. We had pre-ordered photos and sparkling wine. The initial welcome drink was, well, not great. The kids said, "It doesn't suit our taste." (laughs). When we were shown to our seats, I thought, "Huh... here?" However, compared to other dinners, the buffet was the cheapest, and since there were fewer people, I guess it was understandable that it was the smallest area.
As we set sail, a funny ukulele-playing man started interacting with the guests, and a humorous female waiter did a silly dance. There was also a beautiful little waitress who reminded me of Namie Amuro, and she suddenly started dancing, creating a fun atmosphere. The timing was different from other dinners, so while the fancy dinner guests were enjoying Hawaiian dance performances during sunset, we were free to watch the sunset. After seeing it, I thought, "I wonder if we won't get to see the dance," but when we returned to our seats, a mini dance started, and we got to see it. In the end, the dancers invited guests to join in, and we had a blast with that classic song! Plus, we got to see fireworks. Overall, it was a lot of fun. Having pre-ordered the sparkling wine made it easy since we didn't have to keep ordering it.

It was a bit rocky and I almost got seasick, but everything from the hospitality was great. The matcha tiramisu for dessert was delicious, and the welcome drink had a tropical flavor. The sunset and fireworks were beautiful too.

It was a pleasant cruise with great weather. Everyone on the deck was thrilled when a mother and baby whale spouted together! On the way back, a pod of dolphins appeared and put on an impressive spin show. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and I think it was enjoyable as a cruise even if we hadn't seen any whales.
天気もよく気持ちよいクルーズでした。クジラの親子がそろって潮吹きしたのでデッキのみんなは大興奮！
帰路にはイルカの群れが現れ、派手なスピンを見せてくれました。

I made a reservation for 13 people for a company trip. Most of us were foreigners, but there were no issues at all. We boarded the boat before 6 PM, and watching the sunset over the sea was amazing and moving. Although it was March, the sea at sunset can be a bit chilly, so I think it's better to have something to wear. If you drink too much, you'll need to go to the restroom, but it's very cramped... It might take a bit of courage to go.

There are no instructions in Japanese, as there are few Japanese participants, but I didn't have any particular issues. Additionally, it was great to see Diamond Head from a different angle since we went further out than I expected. I was very satisfied to see whales, dolphins, and a rainbow. I would like to participate again on Friday. Considering the price and content, I highly recommend it.

Authentic hula dance show 本格的なフラダンスショー

I joined this tour because I wanted to enjoy a dinner cruise while watching a beautiful sunset. When we headed to the dock by bus, we were welcomed with a hula dance.
There were about ten types of dishes (they cut thick slices of roast beef right in front of us) and nearly ten types of desserts. While the variety wasn't extensive, the flavors were really delicious. The staff guided us to the food in order, and since there weren't many customers on the day we participated, it wasn't too crowded, making it easy to get our food.
Then the hula dance show began. It wasn't heavily advertised in the tour details, so I didn't have high expectations, but it was truly amazing! There wasn't a stage, but the performance was breathtaking, and I was really moved. There was also a segment where guests could participate, and the kids had a lot of fun.
One downside was that the hula dance show was ongoing, so I couldn't take pictures of the night view of Waikiki. I wish they could have paused the show for the best photo opportunities.
However, it was truly enjoyable and exceeded my expectations!
綺麗な夕日を見ながらディナークルーズを楽しみたいということでこちらのツアーに参加しました。
バスで船着場へ向かうと、フラダンスでお出迎えをしてもらいました。
料理は10種弱(目の前でローストビーフを分厚く切ってもらいました。)デザートも10種弱とそんなに種類は多くはありませんが、味はとても美味しかったです。係の人が順番に料理の方へ案内していたのと、私たちが参加した日はそんなにお客さんが多くなかったためかそれほど混雑せずに取りに行くことができました。
それから始まったのがフラダンスショーです。ツアー内容にもそんなに大々的に書いてなかったのであまり期待していませんでしたが、本当にすごかったです！ステージのような台はありませんでしたが、圧巻のダンスにすごく感動しました。また、お客さん参加のコーナーもあり、子供達もとても楽しんでいました。
ひとつ残念だったのは、フラダンスショーがずっと行われていたため、ワイキキの夜景の写真を撮ることができませんでした。ベストショットの際にはショーを中断し、写真の案内をしてもらえればよかったなと思いました。
ですが、期待以上の内容で本当に楽しかったです！
