I participated because I wanted to see whales. I was able to enjoy watching the whales swimming alongside the boat. Although I didn't see any jumping whales, I could feel the presence of these large animals as they spouted water and showed their tails, making it a tour filled with the dynamism of nature.

I participated using the hotel shuttle service. A large bus came, and it was very comfortable.

船内のスタッフさんは日本語を話せる人はいませんでしたが、必要な船内放送は日本語で流れるのでそこまで問題はありません。

船からみるハワイの街並みもとても綺麗でした。

Thank you guys for the amazing time! Would highly recommend this trip. We did see whales, beautiful views of paradise, some crap traps, and the site for the open shark dive. We loved the crew so much, we have now signed up for the shark dive! We can’t wait! The crew were fantastic, captain and skipper both knew and shared a ton of great information about the island. They took their time and were not in a rush. The sunset was also amazing. Could not have asked for a better trip!

I boarded the cruise that departed at 10:30. About 10 minutes after setting sail, while we could still see the streets of Waikiki, there was an English announcement saying, "Look towards 3 o'clock," and we spotted a whale's spout. We changed spots here and there to see whales… whales… whales… Mostly, we caught glimpses of parts of their bodies coming out of the water, and if we were lucky, we could also see the whale's tail.

At one point, there was an announcement saying, "There are dolphins!" and we were able to see a pod of dolphins as well! For almost the entire two hours, we were able to see something, which felt like a great deal. The view of Diamond Head from the sea was also beautiful!

The boat rocked quite a bit. One adult on board got seasick, and my one-year-old daughter threw up… Even though the staff provided paper towels and water, I think it would be wise to be well-prepared for seasickness (paying attention to meals beforehand, bringing drinks, and having a change of clothes ready).

2時間のほとんどで何かしらを観ることができて、とってもお得でした。海からのダイヤモンドヘッドの眺めもまたいいです！

船はかなり揺れました。
同乗の大人1名が途中船酔いでダウンし、1歳の娘は吐きました…。吐いてもスタッフの方がペーパータオルやお水をくれたりといろいろとよくしてくださったのですが、船酔い対策はいろいろと万全に（直前の食事への留意、飲み物を持ち込む、着替え用意）されたほうがいいかと思いました。

On my way back to the mainland U.S. via Hawaii, I had a 14-hour wait for my flight. It was my first time in Hawaii, and I heard that this winter season is perfect for whale watching, so I joined a sunset tour. I participated alone, but I had a great time. The guide was entertaining (laughs).

It would have been even better if we could have gotten closer to the whales, but perhaps because the boat was larger than the smaller ones, we observed from a bit further away. However, I was very satisfied to see the whales' tails. Unexpectedly, I also saw two dolphins. The sunset was beautiful and soothing. I'm glad I participated!!

We first admired the stunning views of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the sea, and soon the crew spotted a whale and informed us. We could only see its back, but it was spouting water. After that, we were able to see it several more times. The crew was very friendly, the weather was great, and it turned out to be a comfortable and enjoyable cruise, creating wonderful memories of Hawaii. This was my first time in Hawaii during this season, and I wanted to see whales at least once, so I participated in the tour. Boarding started at 8:15, and first, we took a commemorative photo by group. During the tour, the staff will ask if you'd like to purchase a photo ($26).

Before departure, we helped ourselves to pineapple banana bread and drinks (coffee, tea, water, and other beverages are available for a fee). While we were eating, the naturalist provided explanations about the whales (no explanations in Japanese).

Since it was a large boat, the rocking wasn't too bad, but if you're worried, it's advisable to take motion sickness medication. Shortly after departure, whales appeared, and there was a great cheer from everyone on board! The boat slowly approached the direction of the whales and stayed there for a while. It seems we couldn't get closer than 100 yards.

Although we couldn't see them jumping, we were able to see them spouting water and their pectoral fins and tails multiple times. The view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the sea was also lovely. We returned to Aloha Tower around 11:00.

The women's restroom had about 30 stalls, and there was also a wheelchair-accessible restroom. It seems there are no public restrooms at Aloha Tower, so it's better to take care of that on the boat.

I signed up without transportation and took THE BUS to the location. It took about 30 minutes on bus number 2 from Kuhio Avenue to downtown, and then about a 15-minute walk to Aloha Tower. ジャンプする姿を見ることはできませんでしたが、潮を吹いたり、胸びれや尾ひれは何度も見ることができました。
海から眺めるワイキキの町並みとダイヤモンドヘッドも良かったです。
11時位にアロハタワーに帰港しました。
トイレは、女性用は、個室が約30弱程あり、車椅子対応のトイレもありました。
アロハタワーには、公衆トイレは無いようなので、船で済ませた方が良いと思います。
今回、送迎なしで申込み、現地まではTHE BUSで行きました。クヒオ通りから2番のバスでダウンタウンまで約30分、そこからアロハタワーまで徒歩で約15分程です。
帰りは、アラモアナセンター行きのバスがアロハタワーを通るため、ツアー参加後にそのままショッピングとランチも楽しみました。

I had always wanted to go whale watching, so when I finally came to Hawaii after five years, I quickly signed up for a tour. Since it’s a natural experience, I thought it would be lucky if I got to see a whale, but I also had the desire to actually encounter one. I spent two hours on deck searching for whales, but the result was just a brief glimpse of a back and a fluke... it was disappointing.

However, right after boarding, I was able to see a huge rainbow over the ocean, and I also got to see the view of Diamond Head that can only be seen from the sea, which was amazing. The banana bread was moist and delicious as well.

If I have the chance again, I would love to participate and hopefully see a whale breach next time.

一度はホエールウォッチングに行ってみたいと思っていたので､5年ぶりにハワイに来ることになり早速申し込みをしました。自然との闘いなのでクジラに出会えればラッキーと思いつつ､でもせっかくなら出会いたいという欲望もあって2時間は甲板でクジラを探しましたが､結果はほんの一瞬だけ背中と腹びれが見えただけ･･･残念でした。
でも乗船してすぐに海にかかる大きな虹を見ることが出来たり､海からしか見られないダイヤモンドヘッドの姿も見ることが出来て最高でした。
バナナブレッドもしっとりとして美味しかったです。
また機会があったら参加して、今度はクジラのジャブを見てみたいです。

When I had the chance to go to Hawaii in January, I thought this was my opportunity and signed up. I waited on the deck for two hours, filled with excitement and anticipation, but unfortunately, they never appeared. I understand that encounters with nature depend on luck, but it was disappointing. 　クルーズ自体はとても最高な思い出になりました。時期的にもクジラはみれたらラッキーかなという気持ちだったので、クジラを見れなくてもきれいなサンセットを見れてよかったです。クジラを見れなかったサービスも兼ねてということで、海から見る街の夜景もとてもよかったです。船に一緒に乗るお客さんは少人数で、添乗員さんは雰囲気の良い美男美女さんで、飲み物やお菓子のサービスもあり、とても過ごしやすかったです。
　ぜひまた機会があれば参加したいと思います^ ^

Before boarding, it was unfortunately raining, but once we got on the boat, the rain stopped and we had clear skies. After enjoying stories from the captain and crew that heightened our excitement about possibly seeing whales, we headed to the deck. While we strained our eyes looking out to sea, we sadly didn’t spot any whales, perhaps they were on their New Year’s break. However, we were able to leisurely enjoy the views of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the ocean, making for a refreshing cruise. Due to scheduling conflicts, I didn’t receive the next free boarding voucher, but many others did. If the opportunity arises again, I would love to participate.

The pickup at the hotel and boarding went smoothly. Our table was by the window, but since we moved to the deck to actually look outside, I don't think it was necessary to be too particular about it.

People from various countries, including the mainland United States, gathered, creating a lively atmosphere, and the staff kept the energy up right until the countdown.

I found myself dancing at the YMCA, which was a bit out of character for me.

I was surprised at how delicious the steak and lobster were, even better than I had expected.

The fireworks were quite close, featuring star mines and large shells, reminiscent of the Japanese style.

On the way back, it gets crowded, so it's best to move to your bus early.

It was a fun New Year's Eve, and I think I got my money's worth.

帰りは混雑するので自分の乗るバスまで早めのご移動を。
楽しい年越しになりました。料金分は十分楽しんだと思います。

Food was delicious, entertainment beautiful. We had a 2 yo with us and while they provided orange juice for him as his complimentary drink, he received no fork or napkin. When we asked for one, the waiter said he would see if he could find one and never came back. There were also dinner rolls in the table for all except the child. We were told we had to share ours with him.

Cruise is ok but not worth the price

Cruise was ok.. but not worth the price. The food was ok as some was good and desserts were bad. It was a buffet so you can go back for second of u liked it. No need to dress up. Everyone was in shorts and beach type clothes. .. will I tell someone to do the cruise again- absolutely not. Keep your money. Now the sun set price on the boat was the best thing going it cost $30.. they give u a cool frame . But technically I had the same picture on my phone ..

It was a very enjoyable cruise. Rather than just leisurely watching the sunset, there was lively music playing, creating a party-like atmosphere that was a lot of fun. Despite being an all-you-can-drink option, the variety of alcoholic beverages was also great.
