There weren't many fish while snorkeling...
I only saw one sea turtle swimming far away...
I've participated in similar tours four times in the past, but this snorkeling experience was the worst.
The staff was fine. The captain's child was helping out diligently and was very cute.

シュノーケリングはあまり魚をいません、、、。
海亀も1匹遠くで泳いでいただけです、、、。
過去に4回類似ツアーに参加しましたが、シュノーケリングは一番ダメでした。
スタッフは問題ないです。船長のお子さんが一生懸命お手伝いしていて可愛かったです。

I have participated in other dolphin tours, but I felt that this tour was expensive and I should have chosen one of the more affordable options considering the content.

We bought a USB as a memento of our honeymoon, but there were really very few photos taken of us. The pictures taken from our seats on the boat mostly showed the boat's walls and the background scenery was lacking. Other groups had photos of themselves swimming in the ocean, but we didn't have any of those, which was really disappointing when we got back. Given that they said they wanted to take many photos of those who purchased the USB, I thought the number and quality of the photos were quite lacking. Moreover, the USB was expensive.

Even while swimming, we were told not to follow the cameraman, even though we were just swimming straight. It made me feel really uncomfortable, even though that wasn't our intention. When we were sitting on the edge of the boat, they were attentive to us, but they weren't paying attention to other groups of girls. They also guided us to indoor seats without mentioning that we could fit more people on the deck (those seats didn't allow us to see the surrounding scenery and were hot, making it hard to feel like we were on a cruise). I wish they had been a bit more considerate of everyone. Even though the Japanese guides might have been trying to be nice by saying things like "The sea is beautiful!" or "You seem a bit down," from our perspective, it felt a bit insensitive and lacking in consideration.

However, the crew that joined us locally was cheerful and considerate, which made it a lot of fun. The dolphins swam right next to us and below us, which was magical. We could hear their calls, and it was moving.

So, I think there are people who will enjoy this tour and those who won't. Especially since it was our honeymoon. We didn't have any photos underwater that we were looking forward to as mementos, nor any fun photos taken from the deck. Haha. I also felt that the guide's attitude was not very favorable, and while we did get to swim with the dolphins, I think I will use another tour next time.

他のイルカツアーに参加した事もありますが、このツアーは価格も高いし、内容も含めて他のもっと価格を抑えたツアーを選べばよかったと思いました。
新婚旅行の記念にusbを買ったけど、私たちを撮ってくれた写真は本当に少なく、船の座った席で撮った写真はバックの景色も船の壁ばかりで、他のグループは海で泳いでる写真もあったのに、私たちのものはなく帰ってきてみて、スゴくがっかりしました。
usb購入した人を多く撮りたいと言っていただけに、あまりにもな写真の数と内容だなと思いました。しかも、usb高い。
泳いでるときも、まっすぐ泳いでいただけなのにカメラマンの人についてこないでと言われて、そのつもりもないのにすごく気分が悪かった。
船の縁に座っていたときも私たちには注意していたのに、他の女の子のグループには注意していなかったり、もっとつめれば座れるデッキの席も何も言わず屋内の席に誘導したり（その席は周りの景色も見えないし暑く、クルーズしてる気分には到底なれない）、もう少し全員に配慮してくれればいいのになと思いました。また、屋内の席にいるのに海が綺麗だよーとか元気ないねーとか日本語ガイドさん達も気を利かせていっていたのかもしれないけど、
こっちの立場からすれば、ちょっと無神経で言葉にも配慮がないのかなと感じてしまいました。
しかし、現地合流のクルーは陽気で気を使ってくれたりと、とても楽しかったです。
イルカもすぐ横や下を泳いでいて幻想的。鳴き声も聞こえて感動しました。

なので、このツアーに合う人と合わない人がいると思います。
新婚旅行だったので尚更。記念に楽しみにしていた海の中での写真も無く、デッキから撮った楽しそうな写真もなく。笑
何となくガイドさんの態度も好感が持てず、イルカと泳げたからまあいっかというくらいで、
次回は他のツアーを利用すると思います。

I participated in Dolphin University on my honeymoon! On the day of the event, a bus with "Dolphin University" written in Japanese arrived at the meeting point, which was very easy to understand.

There were Japanese staff members, and the name verification was completed quickly!

The bus was filled with travelers from Japan, so I felt relieved since I was tired of English!

On the way to the destination, a lively female staff member shared a lot about the charm of dolphins, precautions, and their origins—mainly the appeal of the dolphin instructors!

My excitement grew on the bus...

We arrived at the ocean on the west side of Hawaii!!

As soon as we boarded the boat, the cheerful staff increased, and we set sail into the blue sea!!

About 10 minutes later...

Wow, dolphins were swimming nearby!! The staff said we were lucky today! They found the dolphins, so we were going into the water!

When we all swam together, right below us...

Dolphin instructors!!! I was incredibly excited! To be able to swim so close to wild dolphins!!

Moreover, when I put my face in the water, I could hear the dolphins' ultrasonic sounds! I thought to myself, "So this is what it’s like to communicate with dolphins!"

The dolphins swam back and forth around us, sometimes playing with floating debris. The dolphin instructors were so cute!

Next, we headed to the snorkeling point... During that time, I sat at the front of the boat, feeling the splashes of water and experiencing the great outdoors, my excitement was at its peak!!

At the snorkeling point, there were sea turtles and fish! I am truly grateful for the beautiful sea! The underwater view was so clear, with lots of fish! I couldn't help but exclaim, "Hawaii is the best!"

It was really fun! On the way back, as the staff said, 90% of the people were fast asleep on the bus back to Waikiki!

I hope many people get to experience the conversation with wild dolphins!!

I would love to participate again when I go to Hawaii!

テンションMAXっす！！

おもわず、ハワイサイッコーと言ってしまいます！

本当に楽しかったです！
帰りのバスはスタッフの言うとおり
9割の方が爆睡でワイキキ地区へ帰りました！

味わってみてほしいです！！

I came to Hawaii for the first time on my honeymoon. This time, I enrolled in Dolphin University. They picked us up at the hotel at 6 AM, and it took about an hour to get to the port. The staff provided a detailed explanation of the experience on the bus, which made me feel very reassured. However, it was a bit cold on the bus.

Once on board, we enjoyed listening to Hawaiian music while searching for dolphins. The beautiful sea and mountains were breathtaking. It seemed we were lucky that day, as we were able to spot a pod of dolphins. I think we saw more than 30 of them. For us, who had dreamed of swimming with dolphins, it was a very precious experience.

After that, we moved to a spot where we could see sea turtles. We thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling, paddle boating, and kayaking! On the way back to the port, we were treated to cheeseburgers, juice, and snacks.

At the end, we learned a Hawaiian dance and danced together! It became a very fun memory! Thank you very much!

ハネムーンで初めてハワイへ来ました。今回イルカ大学へ入学させていただきました。朝6時にホテルまで迎えに来て頂き港までの約1時間。バス内では丁寧に体験の説明をしてくれるのでとても安心です。ただバス内は少し寒かったです。
乗船してからは、楽しくハワイの音楽を聞きながらイルカを探します。
綺麗な海と山が絶景です。
この日は運が良かったようで、イルカの群れを見付けることができました。
30頭以上は見たと思います。イルカと泳ぐことを夢見ていたわたしたちにとって、とても貴重な体験でした。
その後エリアを変えて海ガメのいるスポットへ移動しました。シュノーケルやパドルボートやカヤックも存分に楽しめました！
港までの帰り道は、チーズバーガーやジュース、お菓子までいただきました。
最後はハワイの踊りを教えてもらってみんなで踊りました！
とても楽しい思い出となりました！

The meeting point is easy to find as they will come to pick you up in a bus marked "Dolphin University." During the bus ride, you won't be able to sleep because there are important explanations to listen to, so make sure to pay attention. However, the conversation is enjoyable, and before you know it, you’ll arrive at the port.

From there, you’ll board a blue boat and set off! On the boat, goggles, fins, and wetsuits for those who want them are distributed. I borrowed a wetsuit to protect against sunburn. While there is some shade on the boat, depending on where you sit, you might be in direct sunlight the whole time.

Once we set off, everyone sings songs and throws plumeria into the sea, asking to meet the dolphin guides. Thanks to this, on the day I participated, we were able to visit many spots with lots of dolphins. When we arrived at the dolphin spot, we jumped straight into the water. There was no time to waste; we just jumped in. Once in, we swam, swam, and swam. By the way, I can't swim at all. (I could only stay in place kicking with a boogie board.) Gradually, I drifted away from the group, unable to see the dolphins... I realized how foolish it was to think I could swim with dolphins when I couldn't swim at all. Just then, a staff member threw me a float and pulled me along. Thanks to that, I was able to meet the dolphin guides even without being able to swim.

After meeting many dolphins, we changed spots for a lesson on snorkeling and paddle surfing. I continued snorkeling and was lucky enough to observe a sea turtle for a long time. The fun time flew by. Finally, we had a light lunch on the boat. After all that activity, everything tasted delicious. If you can’t finish your meal, they provide a Ziploc bag for leftovers.

I slept soundly on the return bus. There was also a photo sale, but it was expensive, so I thought it would be better to save that money for my next participation instead of buying any photos.

Lastly, I want to thank the staff for a wonderful time. Next time, I’ll work hard to swim a bit better!

集合場所にはイルカ大学と書かれたバスでお迎えに来てくれるので、わかりやすいと思います。
行きのバスの中では寝かせてはくれません！重要な説明があるのでしっかり聞きましょう。
でもお話しが楽しいのであっという間にポートに到着してしまいます。
そこから青い船に乗って出発！船の上で、ゴーグルとフィンと希望者にウェットスーツが配られます。私は日焼け対策にもなるので借りました。船の上は日陰もありますが、座る位置によっては常に日に当たってるところもあります。
出発してから、みんなで歌を歌ってプルメリアを海に投げ、イルカ先生に会えるようお願いします。そのおかげか、参加した日にはたくさんのイルカ先生のいるスポットへ行くことができました。イルカスポットに着くと、すぐ海に飛び込みます。足から順々に水をかけて…なんてやってられません。飛び込みます。飛び込んだら、ひたすら泳ぐ泳ぐ泳ぐ。ちなみに、私まったく泳げません。（ビート版をもってバタ足してもその場で待機することしかできません。）だんだんみんなの輪から遠ざかる私。イルカを見る余裕もなく…ああ、泳げないのにいイルカと泳ごうなんてなんて浅はかだったんだろうと思っていたら、スタッフの方が浮輪を投げてくれて、引っ張ってくれました。おかげで私は泳げなくても、ちゃんとイルカ先生に会うことができました。
たくさんのイルカ先生と会えたあとは、スポットを変え、シュノーケルやパドルサーフィンをやる授業です。わたしはそのままシュノーケルをしながら、幸運にも会えたウミガメさんをずっと観察してました。楽しい時間はあっという間でした。最後に船の上で軽く昼食です。動いた後なので、なんでもおいしく感じます。食べきれない場合も持ち帰りのジップロックをくれました。
帰りのバスは爆睡でした。写真の販売もありましたが、高かったので、私はその分また次回の参加費用に充てたほうがいいなと思い購入はしませんでした。
最後になりましたが、スタッフの方々、楽しい時間をどうもありがとうございました。
次はもうちょい泳げるようがんばります。

I had a wish to meet dolphins when I went to Hawaii, and it came true. The meeting point was around 6 AM near Waikiki. At the gathering place, there were various people, including couples, friends, and those on company trips. After a while, a large bus came to pick us up. Inside the bus, we started with the instructor's self-introduction, followed by a variety of explanations about recommended points on Oahu, dolphin biology, and important notes for the day. Along the way, we also heard interesting stories about the origin of the existing railway in the Ko Olina area. What I felt most was that everyone from Dolphin University truly loves the ocean and cares for the creatures living in it. If you're going to have the same experience, I definitely recommend going with such people. On the day, I was able to see many dolphins. The dolphins swimming in a pod in the ocean were very mystical. There were also baby dolphins, and they were really cute. We even encountered sea turtles! I was amazed by the vibrancy and abundance of tropical fish. I was healed by the dolphins, moved by the sea turtles, and awed by the largest school of tropical fish I had ever seen. I was completely satisfied!! Thank you so much to the instructor, Juri, and all the staff.

ハワイに行ったら絶対にイルカに会いたいと言う希望を、叶えてくれました。集合はワイキキ周辺だと朝6時あたり。集合場所にはカップルや友達同士、社員旅行の方々など様々な方がいました。しばらくすると、大きなバスが迎えにきてくれました。バスの中では、インストラクターの方の自己紹介に始まり、オアフ島のおすすめポイントやイルカの生体、そして当日の注意事項など、バラエティ豊かな説明を聞きます。途中、コオリナ地区のホテルにもよるのですが、そこに現存している線路の由来の話なども聞けて、とても興味深かったです。何よりも感じたのがイルカ大学の方々は、本当にみんな海が好きで、そして海に住む生き物を大切にしているということ。同じ体験をするなら、そういう方々に連れてってもらう方が絶対におすすめです。当日は、沢山のイルカに会えました。海の中を群れで泳ぐイルカはとても神秘的でした。子供のイルカもいて、本当に可愛かったです。そして海ガメ様にも遭遇！熱帯魚の鮮やかさと多さにも驚かされました。イルカに癒され、海ガメに感動し、今まで見たことがないほどの熱帯魚の群れに圧巻されました。もう大満足！！インストラクターのじゅりさんはじめスタッフのみなさん、本当にありがとうございました。

It was my first time snorkeling, and the experience in the beautiful sea left a strong impression on me. I was lucky enough to see about 30 dolphins, 2 sea turtles, and many small fish. I recommend it for those who can swim reasonably well! For those who aren't very good at swimming, you might not be able to get too close to the dolphins, but since you wear a life jacket and can inform them that you're not a strong swimmer, I think it's doable.

On the day of the trip, I woke up around 5 AM! It was early and I was sleepy, but since it was a special occasion, I went to see the less crowded sea before heading to the meeting point. If I didn't have plans, I wouldn't have woken up this early, so it was a good opportunity.

■ Good points
On the bus to the sea, they explained in Japanese about where we were going, how to swim, precautions, and the ecology of dolphins in an easy-to-understand way. They also provided explanations in Japanese on the boat, which was reassuring. The crew members were friendly and cheerful. After swimming, they prepared drinks, snacks, and cheeseburgers for us.

■ Disappointing points
There was no hula experience or ukulele live performance, which I would have liked to try. The drinks after swimming had a taste unique to foreign countries and weren't very good, so plain water would have been better.

While you can't touch the dolphins or turtles, you can see the pod of dolphins and hear their calls. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and memorable snorkeling experience.

初めてのシュノーケルでしたが綺麗な海での体験はとても印象に残っています。
運が良かったようでイルカ30匹、ウミガメ2匹、小魚、たくさん見れました。
人並みに泳げる人にはおすすめ！
泳ぎがあんまり得意ではない人はあんまりイルカには近づけないかもしれないですけど、
救命具をつけているし泳ぎが得意でないことを申告すれば先頭にしてくれるので出来ると思います。
当日は5時ごろに起きました！朝が早く眠かったですが、せっかくなので人気の少ない海を見てから集合場所へ。用事がなければここまで早く起きなかったのでいい機会でした。

■良かったところ
海につくまでのバスの中、日本語でこれから行くところ、泳ぎ方、注意点、イルカの生態などをわかりやすく教えてもらえます
船の中でも日本語で説明してくれて安心
船の乗務員さんもノリが良く優しい
泳ぎ終わった後に飲み物、スナック、チーズバーガーを用意してくれる

■残念だったところ
フラ体験とウクレレのライブ演奏がなかったのでやってみたかった
泳ぎ終わった後の飲み物が外国特有の味であまりおいしくないので普通の水がいい

イルカやカメに触ることはできませんが、イルカの群れを見たり、鳴き声を聞いたり
総合的にはとても楽しく思い出に残るシュノーケルになりました。

At first, I was worried about whether I would get to see dolphins, but I was really moved to see them up close! The guides were kind, and especially the lady was full of energy! Some people might say she was too energetic, but since it was such a great opportunity, I think I enjoyed it more with a guide who could get us excited like that.

It was early in the morning, and we were constantly swimming, which felt quite athletic, but I had a lot of fun! According to the guide, the university offers other plans besides dolphin snorkeling, but the middle school program only has the dolphin snorkeling plan, so you have to keep swimming continuously, which makes it tougher.

Instead of jumping into a pod of dolphins, we were interacting with wild dolphins, so we stopped the boat far away and swam against the waves to get to the dolphins. If they swam away, we would swim back towards the pod, and it was a cycle of that. Those who may not have much stamina might feel a bit anxious, but you can rest on the boat, and they also provided kickboards, so I definitely recommend trying it out.

They also recommend renting wetsuits, which help prevent sunburn, and more importantly, the water in Hawaii is colder than you might expect, so I suggest borrowing one. The price is $10, which I think is reasonable.

The university's boat is a bit larger and seems to have a restroom, but the middle school's boat is smaller, and everyone gets packed in. There is no restroom on that boat. I signed up for the university program, but due to a boat malfunction, I ended up using the middle school boat. The boat sways quite a bit, so if you're anxious, I recommend bringing motion sickness medication.

Since it was an early morning trip, I had plenty of time to play after the tour! I definitely want to do this again when I come to Hawaii.

ガイドのみなさんも親切で、特にお姉さんが元気ハツラツ！
元気すぎてつらい、とおっしゃる方もいるようですが、せっかくの機会なのであれくらい盛り上げてくれるガイドさんのほうが私は楽しめるなぁなんて思います。
朝早かったし、常に泳ぎ続けて割と体育会系でしたが、とにかく楽しめました！
ガイドさんのお話だと大学はイルカシュノーケル以外にもプランが組まれているけど、中学ではイルカシュノーケルのみのプランなのでひたすら泳ぎ続けなければいけないからよりきついよ、と言っていました。
イルカの群れがいて、その中に飛び込むというより、野生のイルカを相手にしているので遠くに船を止めて、そこから波ににあらがってひたすらイルカの側まで泳ぐ、イルカが離れていけばまた群れに向かって泳ぐ、の繰り返しでした。
体力のない方は少し不安かもしれませんが、船で休むこともできますし、ビート板の貸し出しをしていましたので是非やっていただきたいです。

また、ウェットスーツの貸し出しを推奨していますが日焼け防止にもなりますし、なにより思ったよりもハワイの海は冷たいので借りることをお勧めします。
お値段も10ドルなので許容範囲かな、と思うのですが。。。。。。
またイルカ大学の船は少し大きめでお手洗いもついているようですが、イルカ中学の船は小さめでみんなでぎゅうぎゅうになって乗船します。
お手洗いはついていません。
私は大学で申し込んだのですが、船の故障？により中学の船を使用することになりました。
船はかなり揺れますので、不安な方は酔い止めの持参をお勧めします。

朝早くの便だったのでツアー後もたっぷり遊べました！
私もハワイに来た際には是非またやりたいなと思います

This time, I participated with a friend.

We were picked up near the hotel and traveled by bus for about an hour from the center of Waikiki to the harbor. During the bus ride, the guide provided explanations about the climate of the Hawaiian islands, recommended spots, and the ecology of dolphins, making the time fly by.

After boarding the boat, we arrived at a spot where we could see dolphins in about 30 minutes. When we dove from the boat and put our faces in the water, we saw a pod of nearly 30 dolphins. Since it was a time when the dolphins were resting, they moved slowly, allowing us to get close and swim with them. According to the guide, it was quite lucky to see so many dolphins at once.

After that, we moved to a spot where we could see sea turtles and tropical fish and enjoyed snorkeling. We were also freely allowed to use paddleboards and kayaks.

Although it was a half-day tour, I had a rich experience and was very satisfied.

今回は友人と2名で参加いたしました。

ホテル周辺まで迎えに来ていただき、
バスでワイキキ中心部から船着場まで1時間ほど移動しました。
バスに乗っている間は、ガイドの方から
ハワイの島の気候やおすすめスポット、イルカの生態などについて
ご説明があったのであっという間でした。

船に乗り込み30分ほどでイルカに会えるスポットに到着。
船からダイブし、水面に顔をつけると30頭近くのイルカの群れが。
イルカが眠っている時間帯ということもあり、動きもゆっくりで
間近まで近寄って一緒に泳ぐことができました。
ガイドさんのお話では、一度にこれだけ多くのイルカを見れることができるのは、
かなりラッキーなケースとのことでした。

その後は、ウミガメと熱帯魚が見れるスポットに移動し
シュノーケリングを楽しみました。
パドルボードやカヤックも自由に貸していただきました。

半日のツアーでしたが、濃い時間を過ごすことができて大満足でした。

It was an incredibly satisfying experience!! Please be sure to enjoy the beautiful West Coast sea, dolphins, and the fun time with sea turtles.

The staff (class representative) who took care of us from pick-up to drop-off was very energetic and friendly. On the bus ride there, we learned basic knowledge about Oahu, precautions for diving into the sea, and even about the house of a local celebrity, which made the travel time fly by with enjoyable lectures.

When we arrived at the port, we boarded a boat with a cheerful and handsome staff member waiting for us, and off we went! During the homeroom, everyone on the boat sang a prayer song together. We cruised towards the first lesson with Dolphin Teacher. When we spotted the dolphins, we were beyond excited! Seeing wild dolphins up close and swimming right above them was an indescribable experience☆☆ We moved around to various spots on the boat and swam with them twice.

After that, we had the second lesson with Sea Turtle Professor. We moved to a snorkeling spot and enjoyed the beautiful, clear sea filled with many fish! We even encountered Sea Turtle Professor twice at a distance where we almost bumped into each other! (Just a reminder, touching is not allowed!)

We didn't have time for the third lesson, which included kayaking, but it was a thoroughly satisfying class.

Above all, the love the staff had for Dolphin Teacher and their passion for the sea was amazing, and I’m really glad I enrolled in this school. Although I signed up for the tour on my own, it was also nice to see my husband having such a great time. He seemed to enjoy it so much that he wanted the T-shirt the staff was wearing, so we later visited the staff room (Dolphin University office).

Lastly... as mentioned in the items to bring, the boat can sway quite a bit, so if you're even a little worried, definitely take motion sickness medication!

お迎えからお見送りまで担当してくれたスタッフ（学級委員）はとても元気いっぱいでフレンドリーな方でした。
行きのバスではオアフ島の基本的な知識、海にもぐる際の注意点、途中にある小錦さんの家を教えてもらったりと、楽しい講義であっという間の移動時間。
港についたら、陽気でイケメンなスタッフが待っている船に乗り、出向！
ホームルームでは船上の皆でお祈りの歌を大合唱。1時間目のイルカ先生の授業目指して、クルージング。
イルカ先生を見つけた時は大興奮！野生のイルカを間近で見れて、真上を泳げたときは言葉にできないくらいの感動でした☆☆船でスポットをいろいろ移動しながら、2回も一緒に泳げました。
その後は、海カメ大教授の2時間目。シュノーケリングスポットに移動して、たくさんの魚たちとともに、透明度の高い綺麗な海を満喫！海カメ大教授もぶつかってしまう距離で2回も遭遇できました！（触るのはNGなので要注意です！）
時間がなくて、カヤックなどの3時間目の体育はできませんでしたが、大満足の授業でした。

なにより、スタッフの皆さんのイルカ先生への愛や海への情熱がすごくて、この学校に入学できて本当によかったです。
また私が勝手に申し込んだツアーでしたが、一緒にいった主人がとても楽しそうにしていたのも嬉しかったです。相当楽しかったようで、スタッフが来ていたTシャツが欲しいということで、後日職員室（イルカ大学の事務所）にも伺いました。

最後に…持ち物にも書いてありましたが、船がかなり揺れるので、ちょっとでも心配な方は酔い止めは絶対飲みましょう！

I participated this time with the desire to meet dolphins! On the shuttle bus, I enjoyed learning about dolphins and Hawaii, and then we set off to meet our dolphin teachers! The participants were of various ages, from small children to elderly people. The staff were all cheerful and attentive to each participant, providing wonderful support for those who couldn't swim.

We quickly arrived at the spot and headed into the ocean! It was my first time snorkeling, but before entering the water, they taught us very clearly how to swim, and since I was wearing a life jacket, I felt safe swimming.

The dolphins I had longed to see came very close in groups, and I was able to see them multiple times!! It was the season for births, so we even got to see baby dolphins. They were much smaller and incredibly cute compared to the adult dolphins!

After swimming with the dolphins to my heart's content, we headed to another spot to meet beautiful fish and Professor Turtle. There, I was able to meet Professor Turtle right away!! Professor Turtle was really very close!! I was so excited!! (laughs)

However, no matter how close you get, touching Professor Turtle is a no-go. Some participants did touch him, but I think it would cause a lot of stress, so please refrain from touching them, even if they are close. They are wild animals.

After encountering many sea creatures, those who wished could participate in marine sports, and those who still wanted to snorkel did so, and I think everyone had a great time. We could do a lot of marine sports like SUP and kayaking!

It was so much fun that I ended up playing without thinking about my stamina. I was definitely tired, but I think I enjoyed it so much that I forgot about that! There were also hamburgers, snacks, drinks, and fruits, which was perfect since I was hungry after all the activity.

Before arriving at the port, the staff and participants danced the hula, making it a very enjoyable and fulfilling activity!! Everyone was really into it, dancing the hula and having fun. (At first, I thought it would be embarrassing, but it was actually a lot of fun!)

Lastly, I recommend that anyone who gets seasick take motion sickness medication beforehand. One of my companions didn't take any and seemed to struggle a bit. (laughs)

I definitely want to participate again!! Thank you very much.

イルカに会いたい！との思いで今回参加させていただきました。迎えのバスの時に、イルカやハワイについて楽しく学び、まずはイルカ先生に出会うために出発です！
参加者の年代は幅広く、小さなお子さんからご年配の方までいらっしゃいました。スタッフの方々はみなさん明るく、参加者一人ひとりにもしっかり気遣っていて、泳げない方にも楽しめるような対応が素晴らしかったです。
すぐにポイントにつき、海へ！
初めてのシュノーケリングでしたが、海へ入る前にとてもわかりやすい泳ぎ方を教えてもらい、またライフジャケットも着ていたので、安心して泳げました。
念願のイルカ先生も群れでとても近くに来てくれて、何度も見ることができました！！時期的に、出産の時期らしく赤ちゃんイルカも見ることができました。大人のイルカよりも、小さくとても可愛かったです！
そして思う存分イルカ先生と泳いだあとは、綺麗な魚たちとカメ教授に会うため、また別のポイントへ。
そこでも、早速カメ教授に出会うことができました！！カメ教授は本当にとてもちかい！！興奮しました！！笑
そしてどんなに近くても、カメ教授に触ることはNGです。しかし参加者の方の中には、触っている方もいましたが、、、大分ストレスになると思いますし、どんなに近くにいても触ることはやめてあげてください。野生の生き物なので。
たくさんの海の生き物達と出会った後は、希望者はマリンスポーツをしたり、まだシュノーケリングをしたい人はしていたりと、皆さんそれぞれでとても楽しんでいたと思います。マリンスポーツはSUP、カヤックなど沢山できました！
楽しすぎて、ついつい自分の体力のことも考えずに遊びました。さすがに疲れましたが笑でもそんなことを忘れてしまうくらい、とても楽しんだと思います！
またハンバーガーやお菓子、飲み物、果物もあり、いっぱい動いてお腹も空いていたのでちょうど良かったです。
港に着く前はスタッフ、参加者でフラを踊り、とても楽しい、充実したアクティビティでした！！
もう皆さん、ノリノリでフラやダンスを踊っていました。笑（最初は恥ずかしいと思っていたのですが、実際はノリノリで楽しかったです）
最後に。船酔いをする方は必ず酔い止めを飲んでおいた方がいいことをオススメします。同行者は飲んでおらず、少しキツそうでした。笑

It became the best memory of my first trip to Hawaii! 初ハワイ旅行の最高の思い出になりました！

In June, my husband and I participated in this event. The weather that day was clear, and the wind was calm, making for perfect conditions.

We were staying at Embassy Suites and gathered at the Sheraton parking lot at 6:05 AM. Since it was quite early, I recommend securing breakfast the day before and having it in your room. On this day, participants from Dolphin University and Dolphin Middle School shared a large bus. During the ride, there were discussions about dolphin ecology and snorkeling instructions. I recommend staying awake to listen, as there were many interesting and important topics. For a brief moment, we even saw the tree used in the "This Tree, What Tree" commercial from the bus.

After about an hour, we arrived at the port, where those interested could rent wetsuits for $10. Most participants rented them that day. The boat we took from Dolphin Middle School was an open speedboat, and it was quite windy on board, so renting was definitely the right choice. After using the restroom, we finally boarded the boat. We took off our shoes and sat on the edge of the boat. Our belongings were secured in the middle of the boat, tied with ropes to keep them afloat. Since there was no cover, I think it's better to have a bag that closes securely.

That day, we were lucky enough to encounter a pod of dolphins less than ten minutes after departure. At the captain's signal, everyone jumped into the sea together. Since we were wearing life jackets, there was no fear of drowning. I was truly moved by the sight of dolphins gracefully swimming directly below us. After getting back on the boat, we moved to a spot where we could swim with sea turtles. At this point, a few people were feeling seasick, so I think it's essential for those who are prone to motion sickness to take medication beforehand. My husband usually gets very seasick, but thankfully, he didn't feel ill this time, possibly due to the medication. The water was very clear, and there were many sea turtles, allowing us to swim close to them multiple times. We also saw many beautiful tropical fish, making it the most stunning snorkeling experience I've had.

After returning to land, there was an explanation about purchasing photos. A dedicated photographer accompanied us throughout the tour and took over 500 pictures that day. Downloading the photos costs $50, but they were truly professional and captured beautiful images, including underwater shots, so I was glad I purchased them. For those who may not have internet access, it seems you can also buy a USB for $55.

Among the tour participants were a grandmother in her 70s and elementary school students, both of whom seemed quite anxious at first but ended up having a great time. Even if you're not a strong swimmer, the instructors provide excellent support. Regardless of age or experience, you can truly enjoy the beautiful waters of Hawaii, so I highly recommend this experience.

エンバシースイーツに泊まっていた私たちは、6時5分にシェラトンの駐車場に集合です。かなり朝早いので、朝食は前日のうちに確保し部屋で済ませてから来たほうが良いと思います。この日は、大型のバスにイルカ大学とイルカ中学の参加者が混乗する形でした。バスの中では、イルカの生態のお話や、シュノーケリングのインストラクションなどがありました。かなり面白い話や大事な話が聞けるので眠らず頑張って起きていることをお勧めします。一瞬ですが車中から、「この木なんの木」のＣＭに使われている木も見れました。

約1時間で港へ到着し、希望者は10ドルでウエットスーツを借りることができます。この日はほとんどの参加者が借りていました。イルカ中学で乗るボートは屋根のないスピードボートで、船上はかなり風を強く感じるので、借りて正解でした。トイレを済まし、いよいよ船に乗り込みます。靴は脱いで、ボートの淵へ腰かけます。荷物は船の真ん中にあるバーに、ロープにくくりつけて宙に浮かせた状態にします。特にカバーなどはしないため、ふたがしまる袋のほうが良いと思います。

この日は運よく出港から10分弱で、イルカの群れに遭遇できました。キャプテンの合図でみんなで一斉に海へ飛び込みます。救命胴衣を着けているので溺れる不安はありません。海の中で真下を優雅に泳ぐイルカの姿に本当に感動しました。再びボートへ乗り込み、次はウミガメと泳げるスポットへ移動します。この時点で数名船酔いしている方がいて、乗り物に弱い人は事前に酔い止め必須だと思いました。夫も普段は非常に乗り物に弱いタイプなのですが、薬が効いたのか酔わずにほっとしました。こちらも海の透明度が高くウミガメが多くいて、何度も間近に泳ぐことができました。きれいな熱帯魚もたくさん見れて、いままでシュノーケルした海の中で一番きれいでした。

陸へ戻った後は写真購入について説明があります。ツアー中ずっと専属のカメラマンがついていて下さり、この日は500枚以上撮影してくれました。ダウンロードには50ドルかかりますが、さすがプロフェッショナル、水中も含め非常に美しい写真を撮ってもらえるので私は購入してよかったです。インターネット環境があまりない人は、55ドルでＵＳＢ入りを購入することもできるようです。

ツアー参加者の中には70代のおばあちゃんや小学生もいて、二人とも初めはかなり不安だったようですが最後はとても楽しんでいました。泳ぎが苦手でもインストラクターの方が手厚くフォローしてくれます。年齢経験問わずハワイの美しい海を堪能できるので、本当にお勧めです。

I participated in a dolphin tour for the first time! During my stay in Hawaii, I joined various optional tours, but meeting the creatures of nature was truly precious and became my best memory.

On the day of the tour, I rubbed my sleepy eyes as I headed to the pickup bus early in the morning. It seemed to be a popular tour, as there were many people on board. The guide greeted us with high energy from the start! Wearing a wetsuit for snorkeling ($10) was optional, but it was recommended for warmth, and they were absolutely right. After snorkeling, my body got colder than I expected, so renting one is essential. If you don’t have cash on hand, you’ll need to go to the office later to pay, so it’s better to bring some cash with you.

Before joining the tour, I was worried about not seeing any dolphins, but in reality, I was able to see many dolphins! They were swimming in groups of 10 to 20, and some were playing on the surface in groups of three or four. I was able to capture great footage with the video camera I bought for this day!

After that, we moved to the snorkeling point. I was lucky enough to see many fish and even a sea turtle! It came up to the surface to take a breath, and it was so cute! ハワイ滞在中はいろんなオプショナルツアーに参加しましたが、やはり自然の生き物たちに会えるというのはとても貴重で一番の思い出になりました。

当日は朝早いので眠い目をこすりながらお迎えのバスへ。人気のツアーなのかたくさんの人が乗っていました。朝からガイドさんがテンション高く挨拶してくれます(^^)シュノーケル時のウェットスーツ（１０＄）の着用は任意ですが防寒にもなるので着たほうがいいですよ〜と説明がありましたがまさにその通り。シュノーケル後は思った以上に体が冷えるのでレンタル必須です。持ち合わせがないと後ほどオフィスに出向いて支払わないといけないようなのでいくらかの現金は持っていった方が良いですね。

ツアーに参加するまではイルカが見れなかったらどうしよう？と心配していましたが、実際はたくさんのイルカに会うことができました！！１０〜２０頭の群れで泳いでいたり、３，４頭で水面で遊んでいたり様々です。この日の為に買ったビデオカメラでもバッチリ撮れました♪

その後移動しシュノーケルポイントへ。たくさんのお魚、そしてウミガメにも運良く会うことができました！！水面に上がってきて息継ぎをしに来ていましたがその姿がとってもかわいい(^^)旦那さんと２人で大興奮の１日でした！こんな経験なかなか無いですし素敵な思い出になります。また参加したいぐらいです！楽しい時間をありがとうございました。

As soon as we were picked up, we were greeted by energetic staff, which felt great. On the bus to the site, there was very clear explanation, making us fully prepared for participation (like how to interact with wild dolphins and sea turtles). At the end, we were advised to rent wetsuits. Even though it was said to be warm, the seawater looked cold, so we rented them (at $10 each), and it turned out to be a great decision.

As soon as we arrived at the port, we boarded the boat and started preparing, and the dolphin search began right away. Sometimes they find dolphins within five minutes, but we took about 30 minutes to reach the North Shore without spotting any. The wind was really strong, so please make sure to bring something to wear over your clothes. A bath towel won't be warm enough. When a pod of dolphins is spotted, the instructor will tell you to get ready to jump in, so please head to the back entry point as much as possible. And try to stay close to the instructor! If you can keep up, there's a high chance you'll swim with the dolphins. My husband and I were able to swim close enough to touch them (but definitely don't touch!). It was truly a precious experience. Also, being able to canoe while enjoying the magnificent nature of the North Shore was fantastic. The canoeing time was a bit short, but it was really great. I highly recommend canoeing! Along the way, a sea turtle popped its head up, making for a very fulfilling tour.

港に到着してすぐに船に乗り込み着々と準備をして早速イルカ探しが始まります。早い時は開始５分で見つかるみたいですが、私達はなかなか見つからずノースショアの方まで３０分くらい進みました。風がすごい強いので絶対に羽織るものを持っててください。バスタオルじゃ寒いですよ。イルカの群れを見つけるとインストラクターが飛び込む準備を！と言われるのでなるべく後ろの飛び込み口に行ってください。そしてなるべくインストラクターの近くに！ついていければ高確率でイルカと泳げると思います。私たち夫婦は触れるぐらい近くで（触っちゃ絶対ダメ）イルカと泳ぐことができました。本当に貴重な体験でした。またノースショアの壮大な自然を見ながらのカヌーができたことも最高でした。ちょっとカヌーの時間が短かったですが本当に良かったです。カヌーオススメです！途中ウミガメが顔を出してくれてとても充実したツアーでした。

We participated as a couple because we could see dolphins up close. It was very early in the morning, but our guide, Julie, was so entertaining that we didn't feel sleepy on the bus and had a great time. It was June, but the temperature was low, so everyone borrowed wetsuits (for $10). Also, some people felt sick on the boat, so motion sickness medication is a must!!

As soon as we got on the boat, we could see many dolphins jumping. At the same time, everyone jumped into the sea! During the first swim with the dolphins, those who were unsure of their swimming abilities were allowed to go in first. Because I was nervous about swimming, I was able to go in first and see the dolphins up close!! During the second swim, I couldn't get to the front and was at the back, so I couldn't see the dolphins at all. I'm glad I got to see them during the first swim. If you're slow at swimming or at the back, you won't see the dolphins at all.

What got me even more excited than the dolphins was snorkeling. I was truly moved to see various kinds of fish up close. The cheeseburger and snacks we had for lunch tasted ordinary, but they felt really delicious because we were tired, haha.

The staff were kind and many of them were fun. However, since there were 17 groups, I thought it might have been a bit too crowded. The hula dance was fun, but from the back, it was hard to see what was being danced because there were too many people. I also couldn't see the turtles very well. However, swimming with dolphins and snorkeling are experiences you don't get often, so I think it's worth participating at least once!

朝はとても早かったですが、担当のジュリーさんの話が面白くて、バスの中も眠くならず、楽しく過ごせました。

二回目のイルカと泳ぐ際は、前の方に行けず後ろにいた為、イルカは全く見えなかったので、一回目で初めに見せてもらえてよかったです。泳ぎが遅かったり、後ろの方にいるとイルカは全然見えません。

イルカ以上にテンションが上がったのが、シュノーケルです。いろんな種類のお魚が間近で見れて、本当に感動しました。
お昼に食べたチーズバーガーとスナックは、普通の味ですが疲れてるのもありとても美味しく感じました笑

スタッフの人も優しくて、楽しい方が多かったです。しかし17組もいた為、少し人数が多すぎかな？と思いました。
フラダンスも、楽しかったのですが後ろの方だと人数が多すぎて、何を踊ってるのかがよく見えませんでした。カメもあまり見えなかったです。
ただ、シュノーケルやイルカと泳ぐのはなかなかない機会なので、一度は参加したほうがいいと思います！

It's best to buy food in advance since mornings are early. I've heard that being hungry can make you more prone to seasickness.

During the bus ride, we received explanations, and as soon as we arrived at the port, we headed out to sea. According to the guide, if we depart late, we might have to wait if other tours are ahead, which reduces our chances to try again and meet dolphins. In that regard, Dolphin Academy has an advantage because of its smaller group size, allowing for quicker departures compared to the university. On the other hand, families can relax more, so the university is recommended for them.

The weather was clear, and although it was May, we didn't wear wetsuits and it wasn't particularly cold. Not everyone borrowed one this time, but it seemed to be fine. However, it can get chilly when the wind hits you after getting wet, so I recommend having a bag ready with a bath towel and a jacket.

Due to rain the previous night, the water clarity was a bit low, but we were able to see dolphins. About 5-6 dolphins swam about 10 meters away from us. I brought a camera, but it was quite difficult to get good shots. Fortunately, a professional photographer was there, and you can get photos for about $50. In my excitement of seeing the dolphins, I accidentally dropped my wedding ring, and if the photographer hadn't picked it up, it would have been a disaster, so I recommend removing rings and such in advance.

天気は快晴だったので５月でしたがウェットスーツは着用しませんでしたが特に寒いこともありませんでした。今回は参加者全員借りていませんでしたが特に問題なかったようです。
ただ、濡れた後に風が当たると寒いので、バスタオルと上着はすぐに出せるかばんを用意することをお勧めします。
昨晩雨が降ったせいで透明度は少し低かったですが、無事イルカを見ることができました。大体5-6匹で10m先を泳いでいました。ただしカメラはもっていきましたが、きれいに映すのはかなりむずかしいです。そこについてはプロのカメラマンがついてくれるので、写真自体は50＄ほどでもらうことが可能です。
イルカを見れた興奮のあまり、気づかない間に結婚指輪を落としてしまいカメラマンさんが拾ってくれなかったら大変なことになっていたので、指輪等はあらかじめ外しておくことをお勧めします。

イルカの後は少し浅瀬に移動してカメやさかなをみられました。こちらは泳ぎに自信がある人はライフジャケットを外してもよいとのことでした。
カメは息を吸うときしか水面に上がってきませんが、この日は運よく何回も間近でカメを見ることができました。

一息ついたところでスープとスニッカーズ的な奴とパイナップルを配ってくれます。特にパイナップルは甘くておいしいのでおすすめ。

シュノーケリングと言っても、潜水などは必要なく基本的に浮いているだけなので未経験者も心配ないです。
注意点としては、更衣室等はないので濡れてもいい上着とパンツを持ってきておくことをおすすめします。

総評としてはイルカもカメも見れて、午前中で終わるので午後は買い物など違うことができるし、日本ガイドなので英語ができなくても安心で非常に良かったです。

It was my first trip to Hawaii, and I wanted to see dolphins and sea turtles, so I signed up for this tour. The meeting time was around 6 AM, which was tough because I was sleepy, but during the bus ride to the west coast, the guide kept sharing information about Hawaii and explaining about the dolphins, which made it enjoyable.

When we arrived at the harbor, there was an explanation about renting wetsuits. On the day I participated, about half of the people rented them. I rented one too, and I think it was the right decision. The sun was strong, and it was hot if you stayed still, but since we were going into the ocean, the wind on the boat was much colder than I expected. Other participants who didn't rent wetsuits kept saying they were cold, so I recommend renting one!

Shortly after we set off, we arrived at a spot where we could encounter dolphins! The guide mentioned that it was rare to see so many dolphins so quickly, but we encountered quite a large pod. At the same time, sea turtles were swimming nearby, and it was incredibly moving! They were really cute!

朝6時頃の集合になるので眠くて大変でしたが、西海岸への往路のバスでは担当の方がずーっとハワイのガイドやイルカの説明などをしてくれて楽しめました。
ハーバーに到着する際にはウェットスーツのレンタルについて説明がありましたが、わたしが参加した日は半分位の方がレンタルしていました。わたしもレンタルしましたが、これはレンタルして正解だったと思います。日差しが強く、じっとしていれば暑いのですが、なんせ海に入りますし風を切って走る船上は想像以上に寒いです。レンタルしなかった他の参加者の方は「寒い」とずっと言っていたので、レンタルされることをお勧めします！
出発してから間も無く、イルカに出会えるスポットに到着！こんなに早くたくさんのイルカに出会えるのは珍しいとガイドさんも言っていましたが、かなりたくさんのイルカの群れに出会えました。また同時にウミガメも近くで泳いでおり、すごく感動しました！本当に可愛かったです！
この日は波が高く、ボート？で遊ぶ予定が急遽中止になってしまい残念でしたが、十分に楽しめました！
ランチのハンバーガーも美味しくいただきましたが、作ってあるものを食べるので冷めた状態なのが少し残念でした。これは仕方ないと思いますが…
全体的には大満足で、とても良い思い出になりました！

Encountered a pod of 30 dolphins! 30頭のイルカの群れと遭遇！

The pickup time is at 6 AM. Please gather wearing your swimsuits.

Since we were staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, the pickup location was in front of the Ilikai Hotel next to the Hilton. It's easy to find as it's also a trolley stop.

A little earlier than the scheduled time, a small yellow bus, resembling a school bus, arrived. We boarded this bus and headed to the west coast, taking about an hour from Honolulu.

To quickly get out to sea from the harbor, the staff member on the bus provided us with important information and instructions. Although it was early in the morning, there was no time to sleep on the bus.

Regarding equipment, since the water is cold and those who are not good swimmers might find it easier to float in a wetsuit, we rented one for $10. Most of the tour participants rented wetsuits as well.

The dolphins we can see in this area are the Hawaiian spinner dolphins. They are named for their spinning jumps. They are about 1.8 meters long, smaller than the bottlenose dolphins often seen in aquariums, and they have a black coloration from their heads to their backs.

Upon arriving at the harbor, we put on our wetsuits and quickly boarded the Zodiac. After about 10 to 20 minutes of searching for dolphins, we spotted a group of around 30!

We positioned the boat ahead of the direction the pod was swimming and waited. When we saw the dolphins' dorsal fins, we all jumped into the water together at the signal.

This was my first time snorkeling so far out, and I’m not a strong swimmer.

I was really scared before jumping in, but...

It was absolutely fine!!

As long as you listen carefully to the staff and follow their instructions calmly, there's nothing to worry about. The snorkeling gear we used was good, and I didn’t get any water in my eyes or mouth.

When the staff member called out, "Look down!" and I peered below, I could see a group of dolphins swimming beneath us!!

That day, we tried four times and saw dolphins every time. Moreover, the captain skillfully positioned us at a spot with clear water. Truly a legend.

By the fourth time, I was able to see them up close, almost within reach. I didn’t notice it while snorkeling, but later when I reviewed the video from my waterproof camera, I was surprised to find that it even captured the sounds of the dolphins. It was a truly precious experience to get a glimpse into the lives of wild dolphins.

By the way, due to strong winds that day, snorkeling in shallow waters was not possible because the water was murky. If you are mainly considering snorkeling in shallow waters, it might be good to keep in mind that it could be canceled depending on the day.

Finally, we returned to the boat and enjoyed some fruit and warm tea, and we had the remaining snacks (pastries, juice, cheese, granola bars) after getting back on the bus. On the return bus, there was an announcement about the sale of photo data taken by a professional photographer. I purchased some photos, and they beautifully captured the scenes during the briefing and the dolphins we saw that day.

Personally, I would have loved to hear more detailed information about the ecology and population of Hawaiian spinner dolphins, as well as the relationship between Hawaiians and dolphins.

港から素早く海に出れるようにと、バスの中でお姉さんが注意事項などの説明をしてくださいます。朝早いですがバスで寝ている暇はありません。

装備については水が冷たいのと、泳ぎが得意でない方はウェットスーツを来た方が浮きやすいということで$10でレンタルをしました。ツアー利用者のほとんどがレンタルをしていました。

この地域で見られるイルカはハワイアンスピナードルフィンという種。ジャンプするときにスピンすることからこの名前がついているそうです。
サイズは水族館でよくみるバンドウイルカより小さい1.8m程で頭から背中にかけて黒くなっています。

港へ着くとウェットスーツを着て、早速ゾディアックに乗り込みます。
イルカを探しながら進むこと10～20分くらいたったでしょうか、30頭ぐらいのグループを発見！

群れの泳ぐ方向へ先回りして船でスタンバイ。イルカの背鰭が見えてきたら合図と共にみんなで一斉に海へ飛び込みます。

私はシュノーケリングをこんなに沖でやるのは初めて。しかも、泳ぎも不得意。

飛び込む前までは凄く怖かったのですが。。。

全く問題ありませんでした！！

お姉さんの話をよく聞いて落ち着いてその通りに動けば何も心配はいりません。
使ったシュノーケリングの器具もよかったのか、目や口に水が入ってくることもありませんでした。

「真下を見てー！」というお姉さんの声で下を覗きこむと何匹ものイルカの群れが泳いでいるのが見れました！！

この日は4回トライし、4回ともイルカを見ることができました。しかも、水の濁りも少ないポイントで待ち伏せてくれた船長の腕は確かなものです。さすがレジェンド。

4回目にいたっては手が届きそうなほど間近で見ることができました。
シュノーケリング中は気づかなかったのですが、後で防水カメラのムービーを見返したら、なんとイルカの鳴き声まで収録されていてビックリ。
野生のイルカの生活を覗かせてもらうことができた本当に貴重な経験でした。

ちなみに、この日は風が強かったため海が濁っているということで浅瀬でのシュノーケリングは無しでした。
浅瀬でのシュノーケリングをメインで考えられている方は、日によっては無くなるケースがあることも想定しておいた方がいいかもしれません。

最後に船にもどりフルーツと温かい紅茶をいただいて、残りの軽食（菓子パン・ジュース・チーズ・グラノーラバー）はバスに戻ってからいただきました。
帰りのバスでプロの写真の方が撮影した写真データの販売案内があります。写真を購入したのですが、レクチャー中の風景や当日に見たイルカの写真までとってもきれいに獲れていました。

あと、個人的にはハワイアンスピナードルフィンの生態や生息数、ハワイアンとイルカの関わりなどについてもっと詳しい話が聞ければもっと嬉しかったです。

I had almost no experience with snorkeling, but I wanted to see dolphins up close, so I participated alone. Despite my age and the fact that I usually only do desk work, I was a bit worried about my physical fitness, but being optimistic by nature, I joined in on a whim, and it was really great. I felt so moved!! It became the best memory of my trip to Hawaii. I also think that being able to speak Japanese helped me participate with peace of mind. The burger I had on the boat was delicious, and I truly had a wonderful time.

We were picked up at the designated hotel and off we went to West Oahu! During the drive, our guide Julie kept the atmosphere lively with stories about Hawaii and dolphins, and before we knew it, we had arrived! We boarded the boat and set sail to see the dolphins! I had heard that the chance of seeing them was 90 percent, but there was a thrilling tension about whether we would actually see them. The staff worked hard to find a pod of dolphins, and we were able to swim close to wild dolphins!

After that, we enjoyed our time with activities like stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, and snorkeling! For lunch, we had homemade cheeseburgers, and we also got to enjoy sweet cut pineapple☆ Finally, we all came together for a hula dance with the staff and all the tour participants! It was a wonderful moment of unity☆ I have visited Hawaii many times, but I have never experienced such an emotional moment! This is a tour I would recommend to friends and family! I would love to participate again myself!

On my third trip to Hawaii, I finally participated in the long-awaited dolphin tour. I was thrilled to encounter a large group of dolphins right after we set sail. It was truly exciting to see them, as it all depends on luck.

As for the tour details, we took a dedicated bus early in the morning and learned about Hawaii and dolphins for about an hour until we reached our destination. After that, we got on the boat and prayed in Hawaiian to see the dolphins. Once we spotted them, we dove right in, moved to different locations for snorkeling and marine sports, and had lunch on the boat. It was quite packed with activities.

However, with so many participants, everything felt like a conveyor belt. It was more about seeing the dolphins underwater than swimming with them, which was different from what I had expected.

They didn’t teach us how to swim or anything. They only signaled us to look underwater when the dolphins came.

It was disappointing, considering how many dolphins we saw.

At the snorkeling point, they were feeding the fish, which was shocking for me as a diver. However, the participants were excited because a honu came close and there were plenty of fish.

The view from the boat was uniquely Hawaiian and very nice.

The burgers and juice for lunch were not tasty, but the warm tea was good.

The return bus ride felt very commercial. It created an atmosphere for buying photos, which were expensive.

Overall, while the schedule was sufficient, the content felt like a conveyor belt, which was disappointing. It might have been better with fewer participants. Paying $150 per person for this is high. I won’t participate again.

Although I got to see the dolphins and they created a fun atmosphere, it was still a bit disappointing. There was no request for tips.

３回目のハワイ旅行で初めて、念願のイルカツアーに参加しました。
出航して直ぐにイルカの大群に遭遇でき大興奮しました。
会えるかどうかは運なので、会えて本当に嬉しかったです。

ツアーの内容としては
早朝から専用のバスに乗って、一時間ほど目的地につくまでハワイやイルカについて教えていただき
そのあと船にのってイルカにあえるようハワイ語で祈ります。
イルカを見つけたらそのままダイブ
場所を移動しシュノーケルとマリンスポーツ
船の上で昼食
と盛りだくさんでした。

でも、参加人数が多く全てが流れ作業
イルカと泳ぐというよりかは、水中でイルカを見るといった感じで思ってた感じとは違うかな～

泳ぎ方など一切教えてくれません
イルカが来たら水中を見ることだけ合図で教えてくれます。

あんなにたくさんのイルカに会えたのに残念。

シュノーケルポイントは魚にエサを与えていたので、ダイバーとしてはショックでした。
ホヌが近くまで来て魚もたくさんいたので参加者のみなさん興奮してました。

ボートから見る景色はハワイならでわでとてもよかったです。

昼食のバーガーとジュースはおいしくないです。
あったかいお茶は美味しかった。

帰りのバスは営業感満載でした。
写真を買う雰囲気にさせます。
高いです。

全体的に、スケジュールは充分なのに内容は流れ作業で残念。
少人数だったらよかったかな。
これで１人150ドルは高いです。
もぅ参加はしないです。

イルカに会えたし楽しい雰囲気を作ってくれるのに少し残念。
チップの請求はなかったです。

I was able to see dolphins perfectly in the beautiful, crystal-clear sea like a pool! The staff dove in and took pictures of sea turtles with my waterproof camera. It's a memory I'll cherish for a lifetime. Thank you! The staff were kind and cheerful, and everyone was happy to take commemorative photos. The dolphin plush toys they gave as souvenirs to the kids were so cute that I want to participate again when I have children! (laughs)

The morning gathering was very early, but the guide explained everything in a lively manner, making the bus ride enjoyable. However, since all the necessary information was provided on the bus, I thought it might be better to use a microphone, as there were times when it was hard to hear.

We boarded the boat at the port and set sail. On the day I went, I was very lucky and was able to see a pod of dolphins about ten minutes after leaving the port, and I also spotted two turtles. When we found the dolphins, we went ahead, and at the captain's signal, we jumped into the sea. The water was incredibly clear, and you could see the bottom. Watching the dolphins swim effortlessly right next to us was truly beautiful, and I couldn't take my eyes off them. When we found another pod of dolphins, the instructor swimming with us gave directions like "toward the mountains" and "out to sea," and we swam in that direction. After swimming for a while, we got back on the boat and repeated the process at different points. According to the explanation, there are times when it’s hard to find dolphins, and you might swim for a longer time. I thought that could be tough for those without much stamina, so I was glad we saw them quickly.

Throughout the trip from the port to the boat and back, a photographer was with us, taking commemorative photos and capturing beautiful shots of the dolphins and turtles. On the return bus, they provided information about purchasing the photos, so I felt we didn't have to force ourselves to take pictures during the tour.

When we got out of the water, they had cookies and cheese prepared, but since it was cold, the warm tea was the most delicious. It was the end of May, and I was glad I wore a wetsuit. I thought it would be chilly with the wind on my wet body while moving on the boat.

Overall, it was a very satisfying tour. Thank you very much to all the staff!

朝の集合はとても早かったですが、ガイドさんがとてもテンポよく説明してくれるので、バスの移動時間も楽しく過ごせました。ただ、必要なことはすべてバスの中で説明されるので、マイクを使ったほうがいいのでは…と思うこともありました。聞こえづらいこともあったので…。
港でボートに乗りいざ出航。私が行った日は、とても運がよく、港を出て１０分ほどでイルカの群れに会うことができ、カメも２匹は見ることができました。イルカの群れを見つけたら、先回りして、船長の合図で海に飛び込みます。海はすごくきれいで、底が見えるほどでした。自分たちがいるところのすぐそばをイルカがすいすい泳いでいく様子は、本当にきれいで、目が離せませんでした。また新たなイルカの群れを見つけたら、一緒に潜っているインストラクターが「山のほう」「沖のほう」と指示を出してくれ、そちらに泳ぎます。しばらく泳いだらボートに上がり、また違うポイントで海に入って泳ぎ…を繰り返しました。説明によると、なかなかイルカの群れに会えず、もっと長い時間泳ぐこともあるそうです。体力がない人にはそれは大変だなぁと思いました。すぐ見れてよかった。
港からボートに乗りまた港に帰ってくるまで、ずっとカメラマンさんがいてくれます。ちょこちょこ記念撮影をしてくれ、イルカやカメの写真もとてもきれいに撮ってくれています。帰りのバスで、写真購入の案内をしてくれるので、ツアー中は無理に自分たちで写真を撮らなくても大丈夫だと思いました。
海から上がったときには、クッキーバーやチーズを用意してくれていますが、寒いので温かいお茶が一番おいしかったです。５月末でしたが、ウェットスーツを着用してよかったです。海から上がったあと、ボートで移動するときは濡れた体に風が当たり、寒くなると思うので…。
全体的には大満足のツアーでした。スタッフの皆さん、本当にありがとうございました。

I participated with ten colleagues. While I slightly regretted not choosing the ranch tour instead of the dolphin cruise, it turned out to be the right choice.

Waking up early was tough, but I took motion sickness medication and wore a seasickness wristband (which I bought on the bus for $20, thinking it would be worth it if I could use it multiple times), and I felt great. The weather was nice, and we encountered dolphins early on. Although they sometimes swim away, they came quite close, allowing us to see them well. After that, we were able to swim near a large turtle, which was an amazing experience.

Before swimming, we sang a song to pray for safety and threw flowers together. The crew's singing and Hawaiian dance were also great, and the hamburgers and chips we had on the boat were delicious. I found the chips at the airport on the way back and bought some as souvenirs.

On the last day, I arranged to meet with one of the crew members, Mai, to experience yoga in the park. I definitely want to go back to Hawaii to see the dolphins again. I highly recommend it!

　仕事仲間１０人で参加しました。牧場ツアーとドルフィンクルーズのどちらかを選ぶ時に牧場にすれば良かったかなと少々、後悔しながらの参加でしたが、こちらにして正解でした。
　朝早いのは辛かったのですが、酔い止め薬も飲み、船酔いのリストバンド（２０ドル、何回でも使えるなら良いかと思ってバスで購入）も良かったのか体調もばっちりで、お天気も良く、早い段階でイルカに遭遇でき、逃げてしまう事もあるそうですが、近寄ってくるぐらい近くまできて、しっかり見ることができました。その後、大きな亀さんとも蹴ってしまいそうなぐらい近くで泳ぐ事もでき、本当に良い体験ができました。
　泳ぐ前に無事を祈る歌を歌ってお花をみんなで投げたり、クルーの方の歌やハワイアンダンスも良かったし、船の上で食べたハンバーガーもチップスも美味しくて、チップスは帰りに空港で見つけて、お土産に買って帰りました。
　クルーの一人のmaiさんとは、最終日にヨガの待ち合わせをして、公園でヨガも体験する事ができました。
　また、ハワイに行ったら、イルカに会いに行きたいと思います。本当にお薦めです。

I was able to swim close to wild dolphins! And it was just about 5 to 10 minutes after we set sail! I was surprised! I had some anxiety, but thanks to the guide's careful instructions, I was able to fully enjoy the experience! It became the best memory!

I was so excited! When Julie signaled us to "look down!", I put my face in the water with the snorkel and saw a school of about 50 dolphins swimming slowly by. Hello! There were even some smaller dolphins. While I was watching, I didn’t realize I was being swept away, and when I lifted my head, I thought, "Oh no, where did everyone go?" Since I’m not confident in my swimming, I was able to borrow a floating ring to hold onto, which made me feel safe entering the ocean. It was very early in the morning, so I got hungry, and I was really grateful for the bread, drinks, and fruit provided by the staff. Thank you very much! The water in Hawaii is said to have different minerals, and even after getting out of the ocean, it felt strangely refreshing and not sticky. I could ride the bus back without needing a shower, just drying off with a towel.

Actually, I went dolphin watching on the Big Island four years ago. I couldn’t forget how much fun it was, so I wanted to try it on Oahu this time, and it was just as I expected. I’m happy to have had my picture taken; it became a wonderful memory.

もう大興奮です。ジュリさんの【下を見て～！】の合図でシュノーケルで水面に顔を付けると５０頭くらいはいる群れで、ゆっくり泳いできます。こんにちわ！少し小さい子供のイルカもいました。見ているうちに自分が流されていることに気が付かなくて、顔あげたらあれ～みんなは何処？ってことにもなります。泳ぎに自信が無いので、つかまるタイプの浮き輪も借りれますので、安心して海に入れます。朝がとても早かったのでお腹が空いてしまって、スタッフからのパンや、飲み物・果物大変ありがたかったです。ありがとうございました。ハワイの海はミネラルが違うとかで海から上がっても不思議とサラリとしていてべとつきません。シャワーを浴びなくてもタオルドライだけでバスに乗って帰ってこれます。
実は４年前にハワイ島でイルカウォッチングしました。その時の楽しさが忘れられなくて、オアフ島でもやってみたくて今回申し込みしました。期待通りのツアーでした。写真撮ってもらってうれしいです。大変良い記念になりました。

The main event we had planned for the last day of our stay in Hawaii. We gathered at a nearby hotel at 6:20 AM. I thought I would sleep on the bus, but staff member Julie kept the atmosphere lively with stories about Hawaii and dolphins, so I couldn't sleep at all. (laughs)

On the bus, they provide information about the day's schedule and tips for swimming with dolphins, so I recommend staying awake and listening intently.

As we approached the ocean, we were asked about renting wetsuits. The rental fee was $10, and all the women borrowed one. I had a desire to get a tan, so I didn't rent a wetsuit, but surprisingly, the sea breeze on the boat was strong, and the seawater wasn't that warm offshore, so I thought it might have been better to rent one.

Once we arrived at the port and changed into our swimsuits, we set off! We departed with about 25 participants and a crew of four, including the captain. Cruising with the wild mountains of Hawaii in the background while feeling the wind was incredibly pleasant—pure bliss. Just this alone was refreshing.

There seem to be various routes, but we first headed north to search for dolphins. After about 15 minutes of searching without success, we decided to head south. With information from other tour boats, we searched for about 40 minutes... and finally encountered a large pod of dolphins!

The atmosphere on the boat became frantic! I quickly put on my life jacket and snorkel. At the captain's signal of "GO!", all participants dove into the sea. At that moment, a group of about 30 dolphins approached us, swimming right beneath us. I couldn't help but shout "Wow!" underwater.

After that, we tried to predict the dolphins' path while swimming hard to get ahead of them. Even for someone like me who exercises regularly, it was quite intense, but if we didn't get ahead, we wouldn't see the dolphins, so everyone was swimming with great determination.

Fortunately, we were able to swim with the dolphins several times and returned to the boat feeling completely satisfied both physically and mentally. The thrill of encountering wild dolphins in the ocean is something you can't experience often, so I was really glad to have participated in the tour.

After returning to the port and changing, we headed back, but everyone was sound asleep in the car, likely due to exhaustion. (laughs) The car was a bit chilly, so please dress warmly on your way back.

朝早く6時20分に近くのホテルに集合です。バスの中で寝ようと思っていたのですが、スタッフのジュリーさんがハワイやイルカのお話で車内を盛り上げまくるので、一切寝られず。（笑）
バスの中で、1日のスケジュールやイルカと泳ぐ際のポイントを教えてもらえるので、寝ずに一生懸命聞くことをお勧めします。
海に近づくと、ウェットスーツの貸し出しを聞かれます。貸出料は10ドルでしたが、女性の方々は全員借りていました。私は日焼けをしたいという願望もあり、ウェットスーツは借りませんでしたが、案外と船上では海風が強く、海水も沖合ではそこまで温かくないので、借りても良かったかな〜と思いました。
港に着き、水着になったらいざ出発！25名ほどの参加者と、キャプテンをはじめとするクルー4名と共に出航です。
ハワイの野性味あふれる山々をバックに風を感じながらのクルージング。すごく気持ちよく、至福の一言。これだけでも、爽快です。
様々なコースがあるようですが、まずは北上し、イルカを全員で探します。15分ほど探しましたが、見つからない為、南下してみることに。他のツアー船からの情報も参考に、探すこと40分ほど、、、ついにイルカの大群とご対面！
慌ただしくなる船上！私も急いでライフジャケットとシュノーケルをセット。キャプテンのGO!という合図に参加者全員が海へダイブ。その瞬間、30頭位のイルカの群れが私たちに近づき、真下を通過していきました。
思わず、うぉ〜！と水中で叫んでしまいました。
その後は旋回するイルカの進路を予想しながら、先回りを試み、ハードに泳ぎます。普段運動している私でもかなりハードでしたが、先回りしないとイルカには会えないので、皆さん一心不乱に泳いでいました。
幸いにも、何度かイルカの大群と泳ぐことができ、心身ともに大満足で船に戻りました。
野生のイルカと海の中で出会った感動はなかなか味わうことが出来ないので、ツアーに参加出来て本当に良かったです。
港に戻り、着替えて帰路に着いたのですが、帰りの車内は、疲労困憊のせいもあり皆さん爆睡でした。（笑）
車内は少し冷えるので、暖かい格好でおかえりください。
クルージング気分あり、イルカとのご対面あり、楽しいスタッフの皆さんあり、大満足のハワイ最終日となりました。スタッフの皆さんありがとうございました！

I was able to see both dolphins and sea turtles clearly with my own eyes! I was especially thrilled to see the sea turtles up close and even swim with them. I also encountered a pod of dolphins several times, but they were too fast for me to get close… However, I could always hear their "kyu kyu" sounds, which was very soothing even when I got tired from swimming. I definitely want to participate again the next time I go to Hawaii.

イルカもウミガメも肉眼でしっかり見れました！
特にウミガメはかなり近くで見て、一緒に泳げたので、めちゃくちゃうれしかったです。
イルカも何度か群れに曹禺できたのですが、泳ぐのが早いため、近づく事はできませんでした…
ただ、「キュキュ」という鳴き声が常に聞こえてきてたので、泳ぎ疲れた時でもかなり癒されます♡
次にハワイに行く時も、必ず参加したいです。
