My first time parasailing and I was very nervous. When we got to the dock to where we were going to depart the crew and check in were very cool and assured me that I was going to have a good time. They were right! I had a blast. I was not that nervous going up and being up there for what amounted to be the perfect amount of time(do 600ft or more....it is worth it). Get the photo package....the guys on the boat will take a whole bunch of pictures of you for $30 and give you the SD card when done. It is something that is a must do when in Oahu. Just awesome!

It was my first experience, and it was an incredibly pleasant time beyond my imagination. I was surprised by the stable space when we ascended into the sky with the parachute. Up there, it felt like a different world, an experience where I couldn't hear the voices of the two of us, making it feel like a different dimension. It was truly comfortable. I am thinking of challenging it again with the two of us. Also, we had many photos taken as requested, capturing some great moments, which made it even more memorable.

I attended as a "ride along only" while my husband and daughter parasailed. We ALL had a great time! The ocean was quite rough and it was windy, but the staff was very watchful of the safetly of the guests both parasailing and in the boat. I chose this company because of their concern for safety and they were excellent in all respects. I took photos, but we also purchased those from the company and their photos were much better than mine! The crew was wonderful, the office staff was organized and fun to talk to and the whole experience was most enjoyable! I highly recommend this activity and company to everyone!

We participated as a family.

My husband and our fourth-grade son challenged themselves with the lowest height of 45 meters. Although both of them are afraid of heights, they mentioned that the parasailing itself was stable, and they felt they could have gone higher. I stayed behind with my kindergarten daughter on the lower boat.

Perhaps because my husband and son's combined weight was insufficient, we ended up sharing a ride with a couple who were waiting for their turn, so we flew together as a group of four. We didn't mind, but since the couple seemed to be on their honeymoon, I felt a bit sorry for them...

I was worried about the language barrier, but the staff on the boat and during the transfer were very cheerful, and they occasionally spoke some simple Japanese, so I didn't have too much to worry about. Even if I didn't need to express myself, as long as I could understand what they were saying, it was fine. The driver was particularly lively and seemed to love saying "Hee-Haw!!" like the Japanese comedian Black Mayonnaise, which was very entertaining.

I was recording with a video camera, so I couldn't take photos, but the staff took some humorous pictures for us. They provided them on a memory card for $30, and I recommend buying it.

I wasn't sure about the tipping norms, but I gave the boat staff $20 just in case. I wasn't sure if the driver needed a tip, so I ended up getting off without giving anything.

I read that it’s better to take motion sickness medication, so I prepared some from Japan for the whole family. Thanks to that, even though the boat swayed quite a bit, we were fine and didn't feel sick. This was my first time booking an optional tour without going through a travel agency, and I was worried about whether they would really come to pick me up and if my reservation was confirmed. However, they arrived on time, which put my mind at ease.

As for the experience itself, I believe anyone, even those with a fear of heights, can enjoy it. I have a fear of heights, but I wasn't scared at all! Just at the beginning, when taking off from the cruiser, I felt a bit of fear. (It seemed like everyone taking off was shouting "WAO!!" as they went, haha.) But even those who were scared ended up coming back with smiles.

They offer to take photos for $30. I didn't request any, but I regret not doing so as it would have made a nice keepsake.

Almost no Japanese was spoken. Most of the explanations were in English, which left me a bit confused, but I managed to get by with the atmosphere.

The cruiser sways quite a bit as it goes out to sea. I took motion sickness medication beforehand, so I had no issues, but a friend who joined me doesn't usually get motion sickness and didn't take any, so they ended up feeling sick.

It was a really fun time. I would love to participate again if I have the chance.

This was my first time parasailing, i was terrified. The crew memebers were friendly, and patient with us(i wasnt listening very well because i was scared). They set us up, explained, and helped out with everything. i switched my ride from 400ft to 800ft before i went on, and they set us up, and even pulled us down when i yelled for them to.
It was a good experience, even though i was terrified. Also, they took tons of pictures while people were up there, and i really liked the fact you got your SD card.

First of all, I felt anxious that I didn't receive any emails other than the automated reply, so I called the local office, but there was no staff who could speak Japanese, so I couldn't confirm my reservation. However, later I received a call from this site and an email confirming my reservation, which relieved me.

There was no particular communication on-site either (I received a call from another company I booked through this site), but the staff arrived a little late for the scheduled pickup.

Initially, I had requested a female instructor when making the reservation, but a male instructor showed up.

It was clearly stated that there might be cases where my request could not be accommodated.

However, I felt that it was inconsiderate of them to send a male staff member who couldn't speak Japanese, especially since they knew I could only speak Japanese when I called in advance.

When I inquired via email whether it was okay not to speak English at the time of booking, I was told, "Don't worry, we will provide a Japanese instruction manual in advance." However, there was no guidance in Japanese at all. Upon being picked up, I was only asked to sign a sheet with a list of participants, which included only Japanese participants (other foreign participants had a book with explanations and a consent form). As soon as we arrived at the sea, we were immediately taken onto the boat and set off without understanding what was happening.

Even after departure, the explanations were only in English, and I was completely lost... I felt anxious as I could only rely on gestures and broken phrases. Moreover, although two women participated, we were forced to have a man who came alone placed between us, resulting in an awkward atmosphere in the air. I was really glad I didn't ask for any photos.

While parasailing itself was very interesting, I don't think I will use this tour company again.

This was definately one of the best activities on our vacation. Our kids had a blast. My wife and I went along just to watch and had a lot of fun also. We were so glad that we had them take pictures for us as they turned out great. From our shuttle driver, to the office personnel, to the boat crew, everybody was wonderful. Highly recommend it!

The experience was amazing. The only complaint I have was that we were staying at the Mariot Waikiki and the van driver went to the Waikiki resort to pick us up. We could not find the driver or him us. When I talked with staff trying to locate himshe was rude and said if we did not find the driver in 2 mins he would leave us and there would be no refund.
We ended up finding him in about 10 mins. with the help of valet parkers from out hotel. He did not leave us Thank goodness. The van driver knew we were lost and waited. He was very nice. The staff on the boat were amazing. My 73 year old mother even parasailed and they acommadated her needs. : ) We were there on a make a wish trip, they allowed my 12 year old son who fought cancer last year to go up twice and to drive the boat. They were just amazing!

This was my second time surfing in Hawaii. I was drawn in by the cute name and made a reservation. I signed up for a group lesson, but there was only one student, so it turned into a completely private session! Yay~~ (*^^)v

The instructor was a boy who spoke a little Japanese, but it was so much fun. Even though I was a poor student, thanks to the instructor, I was able to ride the waves!!!

A photographer rode on a board and took pictures, so they were very dynamic and full of life.

My friends had separate plans for the day, but next time they said they would join this school too.

ハワイでのサーフィンは２回目。
かわいいネーミングに魅かれ、予約しました。
グループ・レッスンに申し込んだのですが、生徒はたった１人だったので、完全プライベート☆やったぁ~~(*^^)v

先生はボーイズで、日本語が少しでしたが、
とっても楽しかったです。
出来の悪い生徒だったのに、先生のおかげで波にも乗れました！！！

If you are taking your own transportation to Oahu Parasailing, leave early in order to be on time. It is easy to get lost or stuck in traffic. The staff is very friendly! If you get motion sick then you should take some Bonine or Dramamine before. You will be on a boat with 3-5 other groups. You might get motion sick waiting for everyone to take their turn parasailing. The boat Captain and riggers are really nice. They will prepare you and give you all the rules and safety precautions before. They take safety very seriously here so don't be offended if they yell at you for not following the rules. It's their job to make everyone feel safe and get everyone back to shore in one piece. This is very fun for everyone! It is a nice boat ride and parasailing tour. Do not bring expensive cameras out, you will be splashed by the waves. You won't be soaked after the boat ride, but it’s not worth the risk of ruining your expensive camera. I’m scared of roller coasters. My wife also isn’t fond of roller coasters or heights, but since we came all the way to Hawaii, we thought it would be a waste to leave without trying anything. So, we signed up for it despite our fears. Once we actually tried it, our bodies were securely strapped in, and there was absolutely no fear. We were able to enjoy the beautiful sky and ocean of Hawaii, and my wife and I were overjoyed, saying, “I’m glad we did it! It wasn’t scary at all!” The staff were fun, and we had a truly wonderful and enjoyable experience, leaving us very satisfied. One downside is that the boat can sway depending on the wave conditions over the ocean, which might cause a bit of seasickness. My wife took motion sickness medication from the start, so she was fine, but I thought I would be okay and almost felt a little queasy. However, even with that, the overall experience was fantastic, and I was really satisfied.

I don't know when I'll be able to go to Hawaii next, so I wanted to do something that can only be done while I'm young, like skydiving or parasailing. My friend, who is not good with heights, said she could manage parasailing, so we went with that. After it was over, she said it was super fun and that she was glad we did it! We were picked up and went straight to the boat. There was no one who spoke Japanese, and the explanations were all in English. I understood that we needed to put our bags and shoes under the seats by watching the gestures. While the staff was explaining, my friend asked me to put her bag under my seat, and as I was doing that, I was scolded by the staff who said, "Look!"

When I tried to take a picture of the scenery with my phone camera while the boat was moving, I was told, "Don't let go!" I was fine with preparing for the jump because I carefully watched the other customers who were going before us and mentally prepared myself. When it was our turn and we were getting ready, my friend tried to move the belt she had around her legs down to her waist, and the captain scolded her, saying, "Under your thighs!" They also told us where to hold on, and even though the staff couldn't speak Japanese, they seemed to know the necessary words, so I think there's no need to worry.

Before we jumped, they asked if we wanted to take pictures, and I requested it. When we got back to shore, they said something like, "If you had fun, please give the captain a tip," and everyone gave about $20. 次いつハワイに行けるか分からないので、若いうちにしか出来ない事、カツ、ハワイでしか出来ない事で、スカイダイビングかパラセイルだったのですが、一緒に行く友達が観覧車もダメな人で、パラセイルならなんとか大丈夫だろうと言うのでパラセイルに。そんな友達も終わってから超~楽しかった♪やって良かった♪と言ってました★ピックアップしてもらい直ぐにボートへ。日本語が話せる人はおらず説明はずっと英語。ジェスチャーを見て荷物と靴は座席の下に入れる等分かりました。説明をスタッフがしている最中に、友達に荷物を私が座ってる座席の下に入れてと言われ、下に入れてると「ミテ！」と説明してるスタッフに注意をされました。ボートが走行中に携帯のカメラで景色を写真に撮ろうとしたら「ツカマッテ！！」とボートから手を離すなと注意されました。どうやって飛ぶ準備をするのか等は、先に飛ぶお客さんの様子をシッカリと見て学習して心の準備をしたので大丈夫でした。私達の番が来て装着して準備をしている時に、友達が足に通したベルトを腰の下に移動させようとしたらキャプテンに「モモノシタ！」と注意されました。持つ所も「シタ」と注意をされ、スタッフは日本語は話せなくても必要な言葉は知っているようなので心配はいらないと思います。飛ぶ前に写真を撮るかと聞かれ頼みました。岸に着いた時に「楽しかったらその分キャプテンにチップを渡してくれ」というような事を言われ皆20ドルぐらい渡してました。私達は細かいドルが無かったので日本円で2000円渡すと、他のお客から無表情で20ドル受け取ってたキャプテンが笑顔になって喜んでました。撮られた写真はSDカードで渡され、船着場の直ぐ近くにこのツアーの店があり、そこの大画面に表示させてちゃんと撮れてるかチェックしてくれ30ドル支払います。一眼レフのデジカメで、一組あたり約30~35枚とってくれます。飛んでる最中の海の景色も数枚入ってます。その支払いを待っている最中にカウンターを見ると、ボロボロなアルバムの様な物が･･･それはこのアクティビティーを分かりやすく出発から帰るまで全部を写真と日本語で説明してる日本人向けの物でした。どうもこの店に来て直接申し込みをする人用のようです。が、もう一冊用意してピックアップの車の中で読めるようにしてくれたらいいのになと思いました（＾＾；写真はボートから見た先に飛んでる人です。

I participated at my husband's request. It was our first experience. The staff member was kind and communicated in broken Japanese. The driver only spoke English. All the other guests were foreigners, which felt a bit isolating...

We had a nearly 10-minute aerial walk per group. However, since we were last in line, I started to feel sick and ended up throwing up at the peak. I had taken motion sickness medication beforehand. The summit was quite high and it swayed a lot. Before returning to the boat, we jumped into the sea.

I had a stand up paddle board lesson with Alison on 5/31. She brought along the correct sized board for me, something the rental places at Waikiki did not, and we had a great time. After a couple of minutes of getting used to the balance, I was off and running....err...paddling that is. It was a beautiful day, before and after the rain squall, and we saw numerous sea turtles swimming by us. Alison was fun, friendly, and easy to talk to and was an excellent instructor. I had the lesson my first day in Hawaii and it was so much fun, I did it every day I was there.

The second day I had a regular surfing lession with (Mollie, Matty? something like that, I forget now. But it was great fun also, I caught a few nice waves and she was really helpful....another great instructor. The learning curve for surfing is quite a bit higher than SUP, but I enjoyed it so much I'm taking another surfing lession this Sunday in cold water (wet suit) here in Washington state. First of all, I thought there wouldn't be any staff who could speak Japanese, but maybe we just got lucky? A local male staff member explained everything to us in Japanese with great effort. The shuttle bus only spoke English, but we didn't feel any inconvenience and had a great time♪

First, we went out to sea at quite a speed, and we were launched to a height higher than we imagined (laughs), so if you're worried, I recommend taking motion sickness medication♪

The staff on board will take photos for you, but it costs $30. You'll receive an SD card when you get off the boat, and you can pay inside the building next to the dock. We weren't quite sure where to pay (laughs), but a Chinese participant helped us, and we just followed everyone else (laughs). I definitely recommend getting your photos taken! (≧ω≦)ｂ

Towards the end, there’s a moment when your lower body gets submerged in the water, and around that time, the staff asks from the boat, "Mizu Japon, okay!?" スリルもあり、あんなに高い位置からハワイの景色を一望できる機会なんてそうそうないので、参加して本当に良かった―――――！と思います！！

ちなみに画像は私たちアングルです。あの位船が小さく見えるほど高く上がります(笑)しかし想像以上に安定感があり、気持ち良いですよ！！

The driver who picked us up was entertaining and made the drive enjoyable. The boat crew was good and provided helpful information and made the parasailing a better experience than expected. I definately recommending to everyone to try parasailing at least once while in Hawaii.

My husband and I are from Vancouver, BC Canada. We came to Honolulu, Hawaii for our honeymoon. We decided to do something adventurous as newly weds so we decided to do parasailing! It was also our first time! I did a lot of research on the different parsailing companies and found that Oahu Parasailing did not have any accidents at all. They also had very good reviews so I booked with them through Hawaii Activities. We went with the 8:00am departure & 600ft parasail. On the day of, The driver picked us up at the front of our hotel which was in Waikiki. He was very friendly and knowledgable. While he drived us around the city he told us where to go, where to eat, where the best and cheap things were. He gave us great advice! After we were dropped off, we went into the boat with a group of Japanese tourists. The captian and his assistant were very nice. We participated as a group of three.

We joined with high expectations, as it was advertised that the rope length is 150 meters, the longest in Hawaii.

Since the parachute is pulled by a boat, it felt more like flying far from the boat rather than going high up.

The view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from above was wonderful.

However, both of my companions seemed to experience mild seasickness and parachute sickness, so I recommend taking motion sickness medication for those who are concerned.

I went to Hawaii for the first time.

We rode a boat with about ten people, but everyone except us was speaking in English, which made me a bit anxious. (They provide the minimum necessary information in broken Japanese.)

Also, the return bus pickup was not smooth, and for us who don't understand English, we were somewhat worried, wondering, "When will they come to pick us up?" "Will they even come to pick us up?" "Are we waiting in the wrong place?"

The staff there will take photos of you while parasailing for $30, so if you want photos, it's better to bring some money. (We only had the bare minimum, so we couldn't buy any.)

The parasailing itself was very enjoyable, and I was extremely satisfied!! Next time, I plan to bring enough money to participate properly.

my daughters, both in mid 20's, enjoyed the parasailing, said AMAZING!
my experience was a little unnerving, as I knew what not todo, but wasn't sure what TO DO, couldn't relax for fear of doing wrong thing....More specifics on how one can lean, turn or shift weight, hand position on straps...would be helpful, but perhaps I'll venture To try again.....
