I enjoyed the flight while watching the sea shining in the sunset. It was quite high, so of course, there was a sense of fear, but it was safe and enjoyable. I requested some photos, and I particularly liked the one where the captain posed with a shark trying to bite the rope. In the end, you just dip your backside into the water, but they quickly increase the boat's speed and pull you back up. It’s a great conversation starter and an attraction I highly recommend.

This was the highlight of my trip! I loved it, so much fun and the view was amazing! Not for those without a strong stomach though or plenty of seasickness meds on board as the boat ride was a little rough. I think I was one of the only one’s who didn’t have a problem with it! I went for the 150m! The view was great, and it was just the right amount of thrill, so I had a lot of fun! The crew member on the boat didn't seem to speak Japanese and started with a strong "We're going to drop you in, okay?" I was dropped about two times to the point where my lower body got wet, haha. I don't think my makeup came off, so that's a relief.

I was able to hold my GoPro while riding, but I was told it was at my own risk not to drop it. I rode with a group of Japanese people and what seemed to be a Korean couple, and we were lucky to exchange photos via AirDrop. They were also selling the photos taken with a digital camera from below on the way back, and I could buy one for 3,000 yen after checking how it turned out! I usually get motion sickness easily, but I didn't feel sick at all this time, probably because the driver was really skilled! ⭐︎

**Parasailing**

There are no Japanese staff members, but they explained things to us in simple Japanese! I read in reviews that people get motion sickness, so I took motion sickness medication on the bus! The boat rocked a lot, but thanks to the medication, I didn't feel sick at all. There was music playing on the boat, and the staff even high-fived us, which really boosted our spirits! That day was clear from the morning, perfect for parasailing, and I was itching to go as soon as I woke up.

On the boat that towed the parachute, there were 11 participants, including us, but for some reason, my husband and I were chosen first. Maybe our excitement was showing on our faces.

Once we boarded the parachute and it was released, we soared into the sky in an instant! The speed was incredible, and it took me by surprise for a moment, but I hardly felt scared.

It was truly a walk in the sky! Floating in the air while gazing at Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head was a calm and very elegant experience! Since I was with a group of foreigners, the driver and the boat instructor spoke only English, but they occasionally mixed in some Japanese, which made it very enjoyable. 　最後に現実的な話。一緒のグループにいらした方は、最初から、酔いやすいから心配……とナーバスで、実際にボートで酔って吐いていました。酔い止めも飲んでいたとのこと。他に楽しいことが沢山あるハワイなので、バスや電車など、日頃の生活でも酔いやすい方は無理してやることはないと思います。せっかの旅行なのでパラセーリングにこだわらなくてもです。ただ、私みたいにジェットコースターとか、非日常的な乗り物で酔った経験のある方ならば、そこまでナーバスにならなくても。最高の景色が見れて、旅行ならではの経験だから、あまり構えず、とにかく楽しんだ方がいいです。

This was the activity I was looking forward to the most before my trip, and it turned out to be the most fun! I really recommend it!
