I attended with my husband and a friend.
We had guaranteed window seats on the second floor, with a jazz live performance.
Since the floor is small, we were able to enjoy both the hula and the performance up close!
There were a few Japanese people as well.
This floor had a dress code, creating an elegant atmosphere, and we had a wonderful time with delicious food and champagne.
We enjoyed the fireworks on the terrace of the top floor!
The only disappointment was forgetting the photos we had purchased when disembarking.

I participated in the 5-star experience as a way to show appreciation to my mother. There were plenty of drink vouchers, and I enjoyed various alcoholic beverages along with delicious food, shows, and jazz. The sunset was also beautiful, offering a different perspective than when viewed from land.

Although it's a large ship, it does sway a bit, so if you're prone to seasickness, it's best to take some motion sickness medication in advance.

There were also guests dressed up for honeymoons and anniversaries, creating a wonderful atmosphere that matched the price, making it a lovely time and space to enjoy.

Day 5 in Hawaii: We were blessed with wonderful weather and spent the afternoon playing at Waikiki beach. After taking a shower at the hotel, it was time for the sunset dinner cruise in the evening. While waiting for the pickup at the designated spot near the hotel, I was surprised to see that the vehicle was a large bus. I thought it was because there would be that many people for the boat, but when we arrived at the dock's parking lot, there were more than ten similar buses. Amazing!

Following the crowd, I boarded the ship while catching a glimpse of the welcoming hula dance and made my way to my assigned seat. After a while, the announcement was made, and we slowly set sail. Once we were out at sea, the sunset over the horizon was stunning, with the waves reflecting a beautiful red hue. I lost myself in the moment on the deck, soaking in the twilight, when my friends pointed out, "Other people are getting food from the buffet." The sunset was likely enhanced by the great weather, low humidity, and clear air.

During dinner, we stopped for a while at sea. In the cabin, there were performances of dancing and singing. On the way back, we enjoyed the night views of Waikiki and Ala Moana... The food was average, I think!

　しばらくするとアナウンスと共にゆっくり船出　沖に出ると洋上で赤く染まった並の向こうの夕陽の素晴らしいこと、　デッキで自分の存在を忘れて夕暮れの刹那に浸っていると仲間から「ほかの人バイキングの料理取ってきているよ」と。　天気に恵まれ湿度も低く空気も澄んでいるからではの夕陽。
　食事中沖でしばらく停船。船室では踊り・唄などの競演。帰りの船上からは
Waikiki・ Ala moanaの夜景を堪能しながら・・・
　食事は並だったかな!

The ship was very large and it was a standard course, but the food was delicious, and I ended up going back for seconds. The bread was soft and tasty, and they served the roast beef sliced on the plate.

After finishing the meal, there was a live band that sang and started dancing, and while we were cruising, fireworks began, so I went to the deck to see them.

The fireworks at the Hilton on Friday were incredibly beautiful and moving. I want to go again.

The cake was presented as a whole, which made a big impact right away. I followed the dress code, but about half of the guests were in casual attire. It can get a bit chilly in the evenings in late December, so I recommend bringing a jacket. However, it was fine inside the ship without one.

The ship was luxuriously designed for its size (it’s not that big, so it can sway easily). The night view of Honolulu from the sea was beautiful.

I had low expectations for the food and was prepared for the possibility of seasickness, which is why I thought, "It was as I expected." I believe it's important to read various experiences carefully and think about them, which I will elaborate on later.

Above all, newlyweds should be particularly cautious, as seasickness and the night view can be greatly affected by the weather. The day we boarded was cloudy, and the ship swayed more than I anticipated (it was unsteady enough to make walking difficult). We enjoyed ourselves without getting seasick, but I saw newlyweds who were both feeling unwell, and one was down while the other was supporting them. Depending on the weather, it could turn into a terrible tour, and it was sad to see.

また、食事に関しては「かなりイマイチ」です。美味しいとは言えません。特にケーキは「甘いだけ」でした。（バイキング）私たちは上から2番目のロブスターのコースにしたのですが、「写真映えする」と言った感じですこの金額を払うのならば、ホテルで少し豪華なディナーを食べる方が賢いと私は思います。
行く方は食事は期待しないで行くことをお勧めします。私達は滅多に食べる機会のないロブスターを食べられて満足でしたが、、、期待はしてはいけません。
乗船するとウェルカムドリンクが用意されていますが、濃いブルーのカクテルはとてもイマイチな味ですピンクのジュースを選べば良かったと後悔しました。

服装は割と自由でした。私達はお出かけ用のワンピースでオシャレを少し楽しむ感覚で行きました羽織るカーディガンなどは欠かせません。（12月）夜風を浴びるので少し寒いです。

参加人数はホノルルマラソンの時期だったからかとても多く、ゆったりとした雰囲気ではなかったのは少し残念でした。

Even in the always-sunny Hawaii, this time of year is winter, so the wind is cool, and being on the water makes the perceived temperature even lower. Despite the strong winds, the large size of the boat meant that we didn't feel much rocking, allowing us to fully enjoy the sunset and the night view of Waikiki.

As for the meals, each table had a designated staff member, and we could only order drinks from the city staff. However, since there were many tables to attend to, it took a while to get our orders taken, which delayed the start of our meal, and we had to eat in a hurry. Additionally, the fruit after the meal was served buffet-style, but by the time we finished the main dishes, it was all gone, which was a bit disappointing.

That said, the large lobster was expertly prepared by the staff for my elderly parents and small child, and their impressive skills were a sight to behold. The meat was also much more tender and delicious than I had expected.

食事は、テーブルごとに担当のスタッフが決められており、市のスタッフ以外に飲み物の注文をすることはできませんが、担当するテーブルが多いため、なかなか注文を取っていただけず、食事をスタートするのが遅くなってしまい、急いで食事をとらなければならなかった点と、食後のフルーツはビュッフェ形式になっていたのですが、メインの料理を食べ終わるころにはすっかりなくなってしまっていたことが少し残念でした。
それでも、大きなロブスターを高齢な両親と小さな子供の分は、スタッフが身をほぐしてくれ、その見事な手さばきは見ごたえがありました。
お肉も思っていたよりもかなり柔らかく、おいしかったです。

I have used the Star of Honolulu countdown before, and I recommend the Polynesian Show version. The jazz performance I attended previously had a nice, calm atmosphere, but the countdown really needs to be lively! The fireworks were beautifully visible right in front of us. However, the dinner with tough and flavorless steak and an incredibly chewy lobster was quite disappointing, so let's just say that was part of the experience...

以前もスターオブホノルルのカウントダウンは利用しているのですが、ポリネシアンショーバージョンがおすすめです。以前参加したジャズ演奏も落ち着いた感じがそれなりに良かったのですが、やはりカウントダウンは盛り上がらなきゃ！花火も真正面に綺麗に見えました。しかし硬くて味のないステーキと噛みごたえが半端ないロブスターのディナーはかなりお粗末なので、その辺はご愛嬌という事で。。。

I participated in the reasonably priced buffet type. There weren't many Japanese people, and there were a lot of lively Latin individuals. I had pre-ordered red wine, so ordering just a Mai Tai for drinks was sufficient. The food was better than I had imagined, with plenty of delicious roast beef available, and I was able to eat a lot. However, the atmosphere and shows on the upper deck are a bit different, so for those who want to create special memories, the course option would be better, while the buffet type is great for those who prefer a casual, lively experience! In the end, everyone joined in for a dance with the Latin vibe, and it was a lot of fun.

お安めのビュッフェタイプで参加しました。
日本人は余り居なくて、ノリの良いラテン系の方々が多かったです。
追加で赤ワインは事前予約しておきましたので、飲み物はマイタイだけを頼んで充分。
食事も想像していたより良いローストビーフが沢山出ていて、美味しく沢山食べる事が出来ました。
ただし、アッパーデッキとはショーも雰囲気もちょっと差がありますから、大切な思い出にと言う方はコースを、気軽にワイガヤで良い方はビュッフェタイプでしょうね！
最後は参加者全員でラテン系のノリでダンスになり楽しめました。

I made a reservation on December 27, 2017, but it was changed to the next day due to bad weather. The change was smooth. On the 28th, the weather improved, and I was able to see many whales. My mother, who needs assistance walking, did not go up to the deck, but we were able to see plenty of whales from inside the boat. For lunch, it was a do-it-yourself burger sandwich, which was nice. There were also fruits and cookies available. The guitar player on board was exceptionally talented. Personally, I thought he resembled Kuwaman from Rats & Star (laughs). Compared to the Star of Honolulu, this is a smaller boat, giving it a homey feel, and the captain's gentlemanly demeanor was wonderful. I am very satisfied.

２０１７，１２，２７で申し込みしましたが、悪天候のため翌日に変更。変更もスムースでした。２８日はお天気も回復した、たくさんクジラが見れました。歩行に補助が必要な母はデッキにあがることはありませんでしたが、船内でも十分クジラをみることができました。ランチはいわゆるバーガーサンドを自分ですきな具合でつくるって感じですね。フルーツやクッキーなどもありました。なんといっても船内にいたギター演奏者のうまさといったら格別でした。個人的感想ですが、元ラッツアンドスターのくわまんに似ていました（笑）スターオブホノルル号にくらべて小さな船ですので、アットホームな感じで船長さんの紳士ぶりも素敵。大変満足です。

Best service, show and this young woman was my server the first time I went n I was so surprised when I show her the picture that I took the first time that she remember me and my OHANA . my experience overall was fantastic and that's why I decided to do it again...MAHALO for this beautiful and wonderful experience...

Waikiki from the sea was more beautiful than I expected. The meal was a buffet, and I ended up feeling fuller than I imagined, so I couldn't go back for seconds. The Polynesian dance show after dinner was also enjoyable. It was a time to really feel Hawaii. In the end, we all danced together, and before I knew it, we had arrived. I've visited Hawaii several times, but this was my first time participating in a cruise, and I was able to experience something different.
