I couldn't participate in the tour I wanted to join, so I urgently signed up for this one, and it was pretty good. My friend and I joked, "Aren't we going to ride something like a North Korean boat?" but it turned out to be a luxurious ship where we could enjoy a buffet. During our time, they served hamburgers, and we could add vegetables, cheese, and meat as we liked. There were also cookies and fruit. It felt like a light meal, but since eating too much can cause seasickness, it might have been just right.

However, on the day we went (February 18), it was cloudy, then rainy, with strong winds and cold! Even when we took refuge inside the ship, the air conditioning was blasting, making it even colder. I would have appreciated it if they had offered jackets or blankets for rent.

We saw whales three times. I only saw the tail fin, but my friend, who was feeling seasick, said they saw a breach. We also witnessed a pod of dolphins jumping over the waves, which was breathtaking.

I’m glad I could go during the limited period for whale watching. However, it was really cold and uncomfortable, so I hope that can be improved. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

ホエールウォッチングができる期間は限られているということで、この時期に行けて良かったです。
ただ、本当に寒くて不快だったので、それだけ改善していただければと思います。楽しい思い出をありがとうございました。

We were very fortunate, we had a lovely sunny day and we saw 3 or 4 whales. The crew were very helpful.The buffet meal was of good variety, tasty food and people were able to return as many times as they wanted. With regard to the whales, as stated in the tour blurbs there are rules about how close the boat can get to the whales because of this and how fast they breach and disappear I would suggest putting the camera aside and fully enjoying the experience with your own eyes, which is quite a thrill.

The boat was three stories high, with the second floor being an indoor area with snacks and sofas, and the third floor being an open area with just tables and chairs. Even though I boarded a bit late, there were relatively many seats available on the second floor, but the air conditioning was too strong, so I moved to the open area on the third floor. There was also coffee, tea, and water available for self-service.

After departing, we quickly moved to the points of interest, visiting several spots. At first, it took a while for anything to appear, and I thought it might be a disappointing day, but then I heard cheers from a group of foreigners and saw a spout and a tail! After that, the whales appeared several times, and all the passengers gathered on one side to take pictures. Eventually, it was time to return to the port.

I was able to see the beautiful blue ocean and whales for the first time, and personally, I was very satisfied with the tour!

While moving at high speed, the boat swayed quite a bit, so I recommend bringing motion sickness medication for those who are prone to seasickness. Also, the day I participated was mostly clear with hardly any clouds, but even so, the wind and air conditioning indoors made it a bit chilly, so having a light jacket that you can put on quickly would be a good idea.

ここにもコーヒー、紅茶、お水は置いてあったんでセルフサービスでいただきました。
出航してしばらくはポイントまで高速で移動し、いくつかあるポイントを回る感じでした。
はじめはなかなか現れず、もしかしたらはずれの日かなぁって思っていたら、外国人グループの歓声とその方角を見ると潮吹きと尾びれが！！
その後もたびたび現れては乗客みんなが片側に集まってカメラを構えるのが何度か続き、時間になって港に戻りました。
綺麗な青い海と初めて鯨を見ることができ、個人的には大満足のツアーでした♪

高速移動中は船がかなり揺れるんで酔いやすい人は酔い止めを持参することをおすすめします。
あと参加した日は雲がほとんどない快晴でしたが、それでも移動中の風や空調のきいた屋内は肌寒いので、すぐにはおれる上着があるといいと思います。

I participated on the day of arrival and was satisfied to create great memories from the very first day. This was about my seventh time in Hawaii, but it was my first time on the Star of Honolulu, and I enjoyed it quite a bit compared to other tours I've participated in.

I chose the one-star and the cheapest plan, but the singing and Hawaiian dance were truly wonderful, and my whole family was satisfied.

The food was average, neither good nor bad. My family members who ate the crab said it was a bit salty. Personally, I found the steak to be tough, but my family said it wasn't a problem for them, so it might not be an issue for others. The chicken was the most moist and delicious. If you're expecting a delicious meal, you might feel disappointed.

I don't think the waves were very high that day, but as we went further out, it became a bit tough for me (I tend to get seasick easily). I took motion sickness medication, but I was on the verge of feeling unwell. Although there weren't many people around me who were seasick, I did see someone vomiting in the restroom, and one of my family members also got sick. １スターと一番安いプランにしたのですが、

食事は可もなく不可もなく、普通だと思います。
カニを食べた家族は少ししょっぱいと言っていました。
ステーキは個人的には固く感じましたが、家族は気にならなかったと言っていたので気にならないかもしれません。
チキンが一番しっとりしていておいしく感じました。
おいしい食事！を期待して乗ると、期待外れと感じるかも。

波はそんなに高い日ではなかったと思いますが、沖に行くにつれ私には少しつらかったです。（かなり船酔いしやすいほうではあります）
酔い止めを飲んでいましたが、具合悪くなるスレスレでした。
周りに酔っている人はいなかったものの
トイレに行ったら嘔吐している人もいましたし私の家族も１人戻してしまいました。
家族の場合はマイタイ+ビールのちゃんぽんが良くなかった疑惑があるので、
船の揺れもありますし、お酒を飲んで参加される方は少し気にしながら飲むといいかもしれません。

また参加したいと思えるツアーです。

The outside deck was too crowded, but it was better inside the boat where there were fewer people, making it easy to see out of the windows on both sides. It was a sunny day, and the sun was reflecting off the water, so sunglasses were a must. When I asked the bus driver on the way back to drop me off at Ala Moana, he agreed.

I participated thinking I would see whales like in the photos above, but I could only see a spout in the distance and a small tail fin. If you join with expectations like those in the photos, you might feel quite disappointed. I think it's better to have the mindset that seeing even a little would be lucky. However, the tour guides and the view of Waikiki from the sea are fantastic.

As for the weather and the taste of the beer, it feels incredibly luxurious. Just be careful of seasickness!

遠くの方で潮が吹き尾びれが小さく見える程度です。
余りに写真の様な期待をして参加すると”がっかり度”が大きいですよ。

ただ、添乗員の皆さまや海から見るワイキキは最高ですよ。

後は天気とビールの味は最高に贅沢な気分になります。

I participated in the dinner buffet course. I was worried because I tend to get seasick, but the ship was large, so it didn't sway too much. I took medication and was able to enjoy myself without getting sick until the end.

The buffet started right after the ship began to move, and we had time to freely explore the ship and take photos of the sunset. Finally, there was an Aloha dance show performed by the crew. Most of the explanations were in English, so it was a bit difficult to know exactly what time it was, but I still felt I was able to enjoy a leisurely and elegant time. There was a lot of food, but I thought the taste was just okay. Since it was cloudy, we couldn't see a beautiful sunset, but unlike the course guests, the buffet group had the opportunity to experience the Aloha dance, which was a unique experience that can only be had in Hawaii.

Since there was plenty of time for the show, I think it's recommended for those who want to experience the culture. If you can gather at the ship early, you can see the show before boarding.

もし早めに船に集合できるのであれば乗船前にショーが見られます。

Watching the fireworks from the boat isn't a must, but the view from Tantalus was very pretty.

⇒ヒルトンの花火がはじまります。（少し前から見やすいところにポジション取りをしておくと良い。その前にデッキにあがることもできます。本当に夜景はきれいです）
⇒再びショーがはじまり、みんなも参加して盛り上がったところで、船がつきます。楽しかった！（ショーの前に記念撮影の写真を受け取りました）
⇒船を降りたら、車にのってタンタラスの丘へ。（記念撮影を有料で行っています。きれいに撮ってくれるので、アリだと思います。）
⇒ホテルまで送迎、でした。
サンセット、というより夜景がきれい。豪華な雰囲気、にぎやかな雰囲気を楽しみたい方にはおすすめです。料理はおいしいけど、期待しすぎないように。
