I often come to Hawaii, but it was my first experience seeing Waikiki and the sunset from the ocean. My parents in their 70s and my teenagers were all delighted across generations.

I was worried about getting seasick since I had that experience during a previous whale watching trip, but I had no problems at all this time. The hotel shuttle arrived on time, which was very reassuring.

Onboard, there was a buffet along with Hawaiian dance entertainment, and as expected from Hawaiians, they were great at getting everyone excited! I couldn't help but join in and dance with my kids. I'm satisfied that I was able to make my parents happy.

I debated until the last minute whether to go for the star rating, but choosing the buffet course was the right decision. Whether dining in the restaurant or getting takeout, the portions were quite large, and I was feeling a bit heavy, so the buffet, where you can take as much of what you like as you want, was great. The somen salad and grilled chicken were delicious. The roast beef, which I had high expectations for, was tough due to its thickness. I thought it would be better if it were sliced thinner, so I deducted one star for that. The desserts were decent as well. The hula dance show was very lively and fun. The crew was friendly and smiling, making it a great memory.

I skimped on the $1 shuttle and stayed in the Waikiki area, but I recommend not being stingy with that $1 and opting for the Sheraton pickup if you're staying along Waikiki Beach!

The food was great, the views were nice, I highly recommend it!
There were mostly Japanese people, but I was able to fully enjoy the Hawaiian atmosphere!

I really wanted to see it live, so I decided to try whale watching for the first time. Since this is the only season to see them, I thought it would be a great opportunity.

In the morning, we headed to the port on a large bus, where a somewhat older but impressive cruise ship was docked. Other guests from different buses boarded, and we received explanations about the whales' behavior, how to respond when we spot them, and the best locations to find them.

As we set sail, we enjoyed a leisurely cruise while gazing at Waikiki Beach and heading out to sea just past Diamond Head. It seemed like the whales appeared somewhere, but I missed them. However, I was able to see a few blows and breaches from a distance afterward.

When everyone turned in unison toward the direction of the sighting, it created a strange sense of unity, and I really enjoyed it. Whether or not you see them is a matter of luck, but even just the cruising experience was highly satisfying, and I was able to spend the morning in a pleasant and meaningful way.

出現した時に全員が一斉にその方向に向かうのは妙な一体感があり、とても楽しめました。見れるかどうかは運次第ですが、クルージングだけでも満足度は高く、午前中の時間を心地よく有意義に過ごすことができました。

We boarded the boat and moved to the front on the second deck early after lunch. Thanks to moving early, we secured the best spot for viewing! About 30 minutes later, we spotted a spouting whale! After that, it showed up multiple times. It was swimming close to the boat, and dolphins were swimming alongside it as well. Capturing photos was challenging, so I filmed everything on video. Later, I laughed at my excited voice while watching the video (lol). It was such a wonderful experience!

30分程経って、潮を吹く姿を発見‼︎
それからは何回も姿を見せてくれました。

1. Participation with family. The all-you-can-eat items are not that many, but you'll get full. The roast beef is delicious.
2. The meal takes place in a somewhat narrow room at the front of the boat.
3. In other courses, there are musical performances by a duo band (which I could see from outside), but in this course, there is only one ukulele performer singing. There are various perspectives on the evaluation, so I can't say much, but they weren't very skilled.
4. The Polynesian dance show rotates between rooms, so they run out as soon as it ends. It feels very hectic. I think it's good to actively participate in the "experience."
5. Photography is optional, and if you don't like it, you can skip buying, but the photos were very nice, so I purchased them.
6. The weather on the day was good, and being able to see the sunset sinking on the horizon was very nice.

1.食べ放題アイテムはそんなに多くないけど、お腹いっぱいになります。
　ローストビーフは美味しいです。
2.船の先頭の少々狭めの部屋での食事となります。
3.他のコースでは音楽演奏は二人組のバンド演奏とかですが(外から見えました)このコースでは一人のウクレレ演奏者が歌うのみ。評価についてはいろいろな観点があるのでなんとも言えませんが、あまりお上手ではありませんでした。
4.ポリネシアンダンスのショーは各部屋を掛け持ちですので、終わると同時に走って出ていきます。非常に慌ただしい感じがします。"体験"は積極的に参加すると良いと思います。
5.写真撮影はオプションで、気に入らなければ買わずにすみますが、非常にいい写真でしたので購入しました。
6.当日の天候はよく、水平線に沈む夕日を見られたのは非常に良かったです。

The weather was great, and we were able to see a lot of whales in a perfect location! There were many mother and calf whales, and we were captivated by the gentle commentary in English. We also got to see spouts and jumps, which had everyone applauding! It might depend on the weather and luck, but this day was filled with both, making it one of my best memories! ✨

天気も良く、絶好のロケーションで沢山のクジラを見る事ができました！
母子クジラが多く、優しい解説のアナウンス(英語)と共に見入りました。
潮吹きやジャンプも見る事が出来て、その時は皆が拍手喝采でした(^^)
天気と運による所もあるかも知れませんが(^^;)
この日は天気も運も良く、最高の思い出の１つになりました✨
