The sunset cruise was larger than I expected. I chose the three-star option, and it was packed with volume. The lobster was particularly large, with a firm texture, and it was very delicious.

Since I added a commemorative option, there were arrangements for photos, cake, and champagne. However, the photos were taken right after boarding the ship, so the background was land. I wish we could have taken some pictures in a nicer location on the water.

The cake was not what I expected; it was a large whole cake, so it felt more like something to take home rather than to eat on the spot. I ended up having to eat it for breakfast over the next couple of days, so it might not have been necessary.

One reason I added the option was to sit by the window, but there were people who sat by the window without the option, so it might not have been necessary after all.

Everyone was dressed very casually, so I think you don't need to worry about a dress code. The cruise had delicious food, and the singing and dancing were really great. At the end, everyone stood up and danced together, which was a lot of fun.

The price is a bit on the high side, but I’m glad I booked it. For those considering it for a honeymoon, you might not need to add the option. I definitely recommend the tour!

ケーキは、思っていた感じではなく、大きなホールケーキでしたので、その場で食べるというよりは、持って帰る用という感じでした。笑
向こうで食べ切るために、２日ほど朝頑張って食べるという感じになったので、いらなかったかもしれません。笑
オプションをつけたのは窓側がいいからということもありましたが、つけていなくても窓側に座れていた方もいたので、特につけなくてもよかったかもと思います。
服装は、本当にラフな感じで皆さん参加されているので、ドレスコードは気にしなくて大丈夫だと思います。
クルーズは、お料理も美味しく、歌やダンスもとてもよかったです。最後にはみんなで立って一緒にダンスをしたり、大盛り上がりで楽しかったです。
お値段は少し高級ですが、申し込んでよかったと思います。
ハネムーンでご検討されている方でも、オプションは別につけなくてもいいかもです。ツアー自体はおすすめです！

The steak wasn't that good, but the crab and chicken were. Fireworks were nice but for the price we paid, I'm a little disappointed. The dances they performed are rhe same you would see at a luau. The men's slap dance was entertaining.

This activity is for those who like to treated like a VIP. From arrival to departure, you feel like a special guest. This boat is enormous. 4 floors of dining & entertainment. The views from the 4th floor walk around area can’t be beat. The food is good and the drinks are outstanding. If you get cold easily, bring a light jacket. The dining area is air conditioned. Supposedly, you can see the Hawaiian Village fireworks on Friday nights. A great way to get some fantastic photos and memories.

I used the 5-star course, but I made a mistake with the meeting time and ended up arriving just in time for departure, so I couldn't participate in the welcome event. However, the staff were very polite and accommodating without showing any displeasure. Even though it was past the time, I was able to take a commemorative photo with the captain.

Before the meal, we received three drink vouchers for each of us. On the table, there was a menu for the course, the sunset time (which varies by month), and the schedule for live performances. During the meal, we could step away for a moment to watch the sunset from the exclusive 5-star deck. Therefore, I recommend checking the sunset time first. The portion sizes were just right and the food was very delicious.

The waiter was attentive and frequently checked in with us. The sunset was beautiful, and I was very satisfied.

The Best Way to Experience Oahu Sunset

This is truly a 5-star luxury experience and the best Oahu sunset dinner cruise. From start to finish you are treated like royalty by friendly and helpful staff. We had the package that includes transportation to and from Waikiki and 4 drinks each (1 Captain's Bellini drink and 3 premium drink tickets). When you arrive you are greeted by dancers, the crew, and captains. You have an opportunity to meet the captains and get amazing photos before setting off on the cruise. The boat was very accessible with elevators to each of the decks. The 5-star luxury SuperNova deck is beautiful and spacious. You are treated to a 7-course dinner and live jazz trio band. At any point you are free to roam the private top deck area for incredible photos of Oahu, Waikiki, Diamond Head, ocean, and sunset. I would advise anyone who signs up for the 5-star luxury deck to wear the appropriate attire (business to formal). I don't think you would be allowed boarding with swimsuits or t-shirts. Dress pants, sneakers and collared shirts should be fine for men, but be aware some guests will dress very formal and be celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, weddings, etc. We highly recommend the 5-star luxury dinner experience as it was one of our favorite parts of our Hawaii trip.

the crew was friendly and we easily found our way to the table. The ship was clean while a bit snug easy to move around. We really thought the entertainment was well done and varied with polynesian dancers and jazz musicians. Our dinner was well presented and prepared.
The Deluxe 3 Star was the way to go.

I participated in a 5-star plan for my honeymoon. There was a shuttle service to the hotel where we received a sticker (to be placed on the chest as instructed) and three drink vouchers per person. Excitedly, we quickly arrived at the port where the ship was docked.

As we headed towards the entrance of the ship, there was a line of participants, but it seemed that the staff checked the stickers on our chests and prioritized the 5-star guests for boarding. We were guided to the top deck, the 4th floor, where the captain and staff welcomed us. We were greeted with a welcome drink and a one-spoon meal on the deck. There was also an opportunity to take photos with the captain, which could be purchased for $27 (it seemed like most people were buying it).

When we were shown to our table inside the ship, there was a Japanese couple sitting on both sides who were also on their honeymoon in Hawaii. We used our drink vouchers and started with a toast of beer.

After that, the dishes were served one by one, and each was delicious. The staff was attentive to our drink orders and the pace of our meal, providing friendly and pleasant service. Throughout the evening, there was live jazz music played on the piano and saxophone, creating a special and wonderful atmosphere. We also had the chance to go back out on deck to enjoy the sunset and take photos.

At the end, there was a gift of a single rose for the women. From start to finish, we experienced VIP treatment and spent a graceful and lovely time. This is truly a recommended experience for a night in Hawaii.

終始ピアノやサックスのジャズの生演奏があり、特別で素敵な時間でした。途中で再度デッキに出てサンセットを眺めたり、写真を撮ったりもできます。
最後は、女性に1輪の薔薇のプレゼントもありました。
最初から最後までVIP待遇で優雅で素敵な時間を過ごすことができます。
ハワイの夜に本当におすすめの体験です。

I booked this sunset cruise trip as a get-away trip for me and my mum. My mum is 70 years old and she has bad knees so we have limited activities we can enjoy in Honolulu. The Star of Honolulu is probably the biggest cruise I can find in Oahu. It even has an elevator so my mum does not need to climb stairs!
I was super impressed with the service. As soon as we boarded the ship, we were brought to deck #4 through the elevator, this is the top deck. We were greeted by crew members, have our private photo opportunity with the captain and two beautiful dancers. we enjoyed our onboard drink and appetizer before being brought to our table. by the way we have six alcohol drink vouchers as part of the package. we had a five-course meal: soup, salad, lobster, wellington beef, icecream, and desertl food is absolutely delicious. this is absolutely five star luxury dinner. Most of people were celebrating anniversary, honeymoon or birthday. The crews are super friendly and attentive. When my mom and I walked to the deck to take sunset pictures, they came out to help us! I highly recommended the tour, it will make your the other half feel so special. My best memory of Honolulu.

I participated in a 5-Star Cruise. I was surprised by the VIP treatment starting with the welcome drink we received on board. We could choose up to three types of alcohol, and the cocktails were generously sized, which was satisfying. The food was all exquisite, especially the beef, which was tender and delicious, leaving me very satisfied.

The international participants varied greatly in age, with many couples and pairs. The space between tables was spacious, providing a sense of privacy. I signed up for the 5-star plan, and here are my impressions.
The interior on the top deck felt elegant. The deck is exclusive to 5-star guests, which adds a special touch since guests on other plans cannot access it.

An Absolute must do while in Waikiki

Initially I was a bit skeptical about booking the sunset cruise because it had mixed reviews. It was my husband’s birthday so I took a chance. The booking I must say could be a bit easier to navigate, however this review is about the amazing experience. The transportation to the dock was free and luxurious from our hotel. Arriving at the dock we were greeted by music and the nicest staff, where we were then guided to the top deck to a welcome ceremony with Hors d’oeuvres and photos with the captain. After which we were shown to our table and the luxurious dining experience commenced. There were seven courses of excellent food and amazing staff. Our server Tyler was very nice and accommodating. The live piano jazz was a nice touch. The view was absolutely amazing so many photo worthy moments out on the deck! The overall experience was well worth it. The only con I would say is that the ship is a bit weathered, needs painting and updating in the dining rooms. Despite the dated decor we had a fantastic time.

Highly enjoyed the entertainment; the singer has such a beautiful voice and I can listen to her sing all night long.

The dinner was good. Wished temp was hot on dishes, but presented beautifully. Server was a nice young lady, pleasant smile.

View of the island was so beautiful. I was slightly hungover though from night prior, so did not want to get up and explore the balcony.

Would definitely recommend this adventure!

It's been a while since I visited Honolulu. The view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the sea was absolutely stunning.

While the 5-star experience is a bit pricey, the French cuisine on the top deck is well worth it. The safety measures are excellent, with spacious seating that ensures a private atmosphere without shared tables, allowing you to leisurely enjoy a memorable seven-course dinner. Plus, you receive three drink tickets per person, which might make it a good deal in the end. The waitstaff's manners were perfect as well.

Additionally, there is a dedicated deck for 5-star guests, where you can enjoy cocktails while feeling the breeze after your meal or take memorable photos. You can indulge in a romantic dinner while watching the sunset, accompanied by hula performances and jazz music. I was delighted to receive a rose from a staff member on my way out. The opportunity to take photos with the captain and the captain's greeting are unique to the 5-star experience!

I would love to return to the 5-star service again.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, it was my fifth trip to Hawaii in nine years, and my husband's first. I learned about the Star of Honolulu tour from a TV program introducing Hawaii and quickly booked it through Veltra.

We were picked up at the hotel, and on the crowded large bus, there were only two other Japanese groups, so I couldn't understand the driver's English explanations at all, but I was excited to see the Americans enjoying themselves. We were welcomed with hula dancing in front of the ship! Once on board, we were the only ones taken to the top floor by elevator, where the captain, chef, and staff greeted us. After nervously taking photos, we enjoyed a delicious appetizer of one spoon and a pre-dinner drink at a table while feeling the pleasant sea breeze. I was really looking forward to the next course, but it was a bit embarrassing since we were the only ones there.

We were shown to our table inside the ship and used the three drink tickets we received beforehand, starting with a toast of beer. After that, we ordered champagne, red wine, and whiskey to match the dishes. We enjoyed soup, salad, lobster, a palate cleanser of sorbet, steak, and dessert while gently swaying with the ship. I completely forgot about my worries of seasickness and was immersed in the atmosphere. During the meal, we went out on deck to take photos with the sunset, Waikiki Beach, and Diamond Head in the background. Around us were couples in love and families enjoying special dinners, and the spacing between tables was wide, maintaining social distance, with plenty of space inside the ship.

It turned out that the bus was full because the other guests were on the lower deck in a buffet-style setting. Our location was indeed a special and luxurious one. We were enchanted by the wonderful dinner while listening to jazz piano, saxophone, and beautiful singing. The service was excellent, and while we were eating, a waiter came to ask, "Is it delicious?" He had a very impressive kind smile. However, I asked for a refill of bread midway, but it seemed he forgot, and later he apologized for running out of bread. The restrooms were clean and very nice.

Both my husband and I were able to enjoy a graceful and happy time that made us forget about the pandemic. This was truly a wonderful experience.

After about a three-hour cruise, when we went outside, the waiter saw us off to the bus. On the return bus, we were still savoring the afterglow as we arrived at the hotel. Surprisingly, all the explanations for future tours were in Japanese. I wished they had started in Japanese from the beginning!

スターオブホノルルのツアーはハワイを紹介するTVで知り、ベルトラで見つけすぐに申し込みました。
ホテルでピックアップされ満員の大型バスの中は日本人が2組位しかいなくて運転手さんの英語の説明は全く分からなかったのですがアメリカ人の方々の盛り上がっている様子にワクワクしました。船の前でフラダンスを踊りながらの歓迎！船に乗ると私達だけがエレベーターで1番上の階に案内され、船長さんやシェフ、スタッフが出迎えてくれました。緊張しながらの写真撮影が終わるとワンスプーンのオードブルと食前酒が並んだテーブルで心地よい潮風を感じながらの前菜は全部美味くて、次のお料理が凄く楽しみになりましたが、私達しかいなかったので少し恥ずかしかったです。
船内のテーブル席に案内され事前にもらった3枚の飲み物チケットを使い、最初はビールで乾杯。その後はお料理に合わせてシャンパン、赤ワイン、ウイスキーなどを頼みました。スープ、サラダ、ロブスター、お口直しのシャーベット、ステーキ、デザートを穏やかな揺れの中で頂きました。心配した船酔いなんて全然忘れて雰囲気に酔いしれた感じです。食事の途中で甲板に出て、サンセットやワイキキビーチ、ダイヤモンドヘッドを背に写真を撮ることも出来ました。周りはラブラブカップルや、家族や友人との特別なディナーを過ごしている感じで、隣との間隔も広くソーシャルディスタンスが守られていましたし、広い船内はゆったりしていました。
というのもバスは満員だった訳だから、他の人達は下の階のビュッフェスタイルの方だった事が後から分かりました。それだけ私達の場所は特別に豪華な所でした。ジャズピアノとサックス、素敵な歌声を聴きながら最高なディナーに酔いしれました。サービスも満点で食事を食べていると「美味しいですか？」と感想を聞きにこられました。優しい笑顔がとても印象的なボーイさんでした。ただ、途中でパンのおかわりを頼んだのですが忘れちゃったみたいで後からパンがなくなってしまったことを謝っていました。トイレも清潔でとても綺麗でした。
私も主人もコロナ禍を忘れる程の優雅で幸せな時間を過ごす事が出来ました。こんなに素敵な経験は初めてです。
約3時間程のクルーズが終わり外へ出るとさっきのボーイさんがバスまで見送りしてくれました。
帰りのバスの中では余韻に酔いしれながらホテルに到着。今後の色々なツアーの説明はなんと全部日本語でした。最初も日本語にして欲しかったなぁと思いました笑
今はコロナ禍で日本人は少なかったですがパンデミック前は日本人だけのバスが出るくらい人気のツアーだそうで、みんなベロベロになって下船するみたいです。
今回は全体的に優雅で落ち着いた雰囲気で食事が出来ましたが、次回は下の階で盛り上がるのも経験したいと思いました。こんなに素敵な経験と感動はなかなか味わえ無いと思います。本当に有難う御座いました。

Since I went to Hawaii for my honeymoon, I thought it would be a memorable experience to sign up for this sunset cruise. On the day of the cruise, we were guided to a luxurious room along with others who were also celebrating honeymoons or anniversaries, and we enjoyed a variety of delicious dishes accompanied by performances of Aloha and jazz. → The portions are quite generous. However, they are delicious!

Here are some points to note for the Sunset Dinner Cruise on the Star of Honolulu:
- Men are prohibited from wearing shorts → There were men who were advised to wear long pants (available for rent) in the restroom. Aloha shirts are acceptable for the upper body.
- The air conditioning is set quite strong, so especially for women, I think it's essential to have something to cover up.

Amazing Family Birthday Celebration!

My family and I had the opportunity to celebrate a milestone birthday with the Star of Honolulu. We opted to have the Luxury experience and it was the best decision. From the initial boarding process, to the welcome reception with the captain, it was easy and seamless. The appetizers and the welcome Bellini's were an added bonus with the beautiful backdrop of the Honolulu skyline and ocean. The dining experience was amazing. From the welcome hula dancers to the curated jazz piano and saxophone combination, the cruise did a great job curating a luxury experience.
We were able to experience beautiful views of the ocean and the city from the water as there were large windows circumferentially about the dining room. This also helped to heighten the sunset experience and for us to better appreciate the allure of the Hawaiian sky.
Most importantly, the food selection was amazing. Our collective most impressive course was the lobster bisque. It had an exquisite flavor and the lobster itself was so tender and succulent. The only draw back is we wish we had a larger bowl! The main courses of lobster tail and beef wellington were made to perfection and the paired sides were delicious. The bartender was also top notch, and made delicious and eye appealing cocktails that really elevated our experience.
Importantly, the wait staff were so attentive and friendly. This also helped to elevate the experience. Much attention was given to the small details that ensured that the experience was five star luxury at its finest. Without a doubt, we would recommend this dining experience when visiting Honolulu. Whether it be for a birthday celebration, a date night, or just because, this experience was a highlight of our Hawaiian vacation and we are so happy to have incorporated it in our itinerary.

I made a reservation on this site, and they provided smooth transportation to the hotel. All the staff were wearing masks! Most of the guests were tourists from the mainland United States, and there were actually more people not wearing masks! There were very few Asians (from Japan, Korea, China), and unlike before COVID, it felt like Japanese was hardly understood at all! I managed to communicate through gestures!

We received six drink tickets for two people, which was great! Outside, there was a photo opportunity with the captain, and at the end, they asked if we wanted to buy one for $27! Everyone in the VIP course we used was buying one! If you're a couple, they might ask if you want two, so it seems better to clearly say that one is enough!

We enjoyed listening to piano performances and singing, the atmosphere was nice, and we were able to see the sunset, which was wonderful! Thank you very much!

こちらのサイトで予約して、スムーズにホテルまで送迎していただき、スタッフの方は皆さんマスク着用されていました！
利用者の方はアメリカ本土からの観光客が多く、マスク着用してない方のほうが多かったです！
