The weather was nice, so I made an online reservation the day before. Unfortunately, I couldn't see any whales as I booked the whale watching at the last minute, but the lunch was more luxurious than I expected, and soft drinks were free. Considering it was a lunch cruise, it was fantastic. As soon as we boarded, we were told we could start eating, so I thought I could have had a lighter breakfast. Great time. You have access to all decks. Naturalist answers all question. Plenty of seating. Servers available for sodas and coffee and cocktails. Breakfast is optional at additional charge. Bring your camera for photos of whales and view of waikiki. Enjoyed very much. Tour was wworrth. The money for sure. We did early bird . We were back before lunch time. Bring light jacket for early morning. You will enjoy this ride. Super big ship very stable. Stay on deck for best views. They know exactly where the whales are.

Unfortunately we did not see any whales - they did offer a free return trip but we did not have the time to take this offer up.

I understand it is a gamble - but the weather was very bad and windy - locals told us that when the water is that rough you tend not to see whales - maybe they should have given us option prior to boarding.

Since it was April 1st, I wonder if the whale season had already passed, as I couldn't spot any. It's disappointing.
However, I was able to see parasailing from the boat, and I enjoyed lunch while cruising, so that was nice.
Lunch was a buffet style, and I made my own ham sandwich, which was delicious along with the fruit.
It would have been amazing to see even a little bit of whales; I'm really disappointed.

I expected it, but I didn't see any whales at all. As others have mentioned, the air conditioning was too strong, and it was really cold. Just wearing a T-shirt feels like I might catch a cold in Hawaii. Be sure to bring something to wear over it. There was also a children's program to keep the kids entertained, but there were too few participants, so it seemed impossible for everyone to join (laughs).

The weather was perfect, but we couldn't see any whales. I was happy to have announcements in Japanese after getting on the bus, but on the return trip, there was nothing, and there were no coupons or anything for the next time in case we didn't see anything. The weather in March was not great, with strong winds and a bit chilly. However, the whales were surprisingly active, much to the guide's amazement, and we were able to see many of them! Although it was a large cruise ship, they made precise turns and got close whenever whales appeared, which was very satisfying! I highly recommend it to anyone who is considering going.

The air conditioning inside the ship and the sea breeze on the deck were cold, so long sleeves were a must.

I was a bit anxious after reading reviews that mentioned not seeing whales and people getting seasick. I also had concerns about getting to the meeting point on my own, but I was able to smoothly take the bus from my hotel without any issues. I used the service on March 11.

It was a little cold, but the view of Waikiki from the sea was absolutely wonderful. I thought that even if I didn't see any whales, it would still be nice to go cruising.

Once we got out to sea, I was able to spot whale spouts and tails several times, and I even saw whales jumping and a mother and calf. It was great! I'm really glad I participated.

Also, once on the boat, they take photos of you, which are later sold for $20. I wanted the photos, but the price was too high for me to consider buying (I wish it were at least $5), and I felt bad declining. If you're not planning to buy, it might be better to skip the photos altogether.

集合場所にも自分で行かないと行けない不安もありましたが、ホテルから路線バスでスムーズに行く事が出来て、問題なし。
3月11日に利用しました。
少し寒かったのですが、海から見るワイキキは凄く素敵で、クジラが見れなくてもクルージングに来たと思えばいいかな。と思ってました。

沖に出るとクジラの潮吹きや尾ひれを何度か確認出来、そしてクジラのジャンプ？や親子を見る事が出来ました。良かった～～♪
参加して良かったと思いました。

あと船内に入ると写真を撮られるのですが、後で20ドルで販売されます。
写真は欲しかったのですが、値段が高くて買う気になれず(せめて5ドルとかにしてほしい)、断るのも申し訳なくなります。
買う気がない方は写真を撮らずにスルーした方がいいかもしれません。

I went whale watching using a wheelchair on a trip with my mother. The staff were very kind and helped us out. We were able to see the whales spouting water and swimming alongside us, and we even saw their tails twice. I was worried we might not see anything, so I was glad my mother enjoyed it.

I felt like I waited quite a while before we set sail. Since it was a large ship, the view from the deck was wonderful. However, whales didn't appear for a long time, and when they finally did, it was from quite a distance. During my last trip in January, I was able to see mother and baby whales up close, so I was a bit disappointed and thought it was just bad luck this time. The cruise, with the whales not showing up, felt a bit slow, and some people were resting because they were tired. I experienced a bit of seasickness from the slow-moving ship, so I recommend that those who are prone to motion sickness take medication beforehand.
