We were on our honeymoon and had a really great time. I would give it 4.5 stars but that wasn't an option so they got 5 because it was better than 4. Food was good and entertainment was excellent. Pictures and drinks were pricey but I guess that's expected.

We participated in a three-generation trip with our one-year-old daughter. We wanted to enjoy the show, and I thought it would be impossible for a one-year-old to quietly eat a dinner course, so we opted for the buffet. In the end, it was the right choice. The Mai Tai for toasting tasted like juice, and the alcohol content seemed quite low, but it was refreshing and delicious. I didn't have high expectations for the food, but it wasn't bad. There were desserts as well, which made us satisfied. The show was interactive and very lively; even our one-year-old daughter was captivated by the dancing and guitar performances without getting bored. At the end, everyone stood up to sing and dance together, creating a fun memory. We can enjoy watching the video after returning to Japan. I don't remember much about the food while watching the show (the bread that was served first was delicious), but our one-year-old daughter ate reasonably well. I noticed some dust accumulating by the ship's window, but other than that, the staff were pleasant, and I think it was a good cruise. However, I think once is enough.

3世代旅行で1歳の娘も連れて参加しました。ショーを楽しみたかったのと、1歳児がディナーコースを静かに食べられるはずがないと思いビュッフェにしました。結果、正解でした。乾杯のマイタイはジュースのようで、アルコール度数はかなり低そうでしたがさっぱりとおいしかったです。食事はあまり期待していませんでしたが、悪くはないです。デザートもあって満足できました。ショーは参加型でとっても盛り上がり、1歳の娘も飽きることなくダンスやギター演奏に見入っていました。最後は参加者みんなが立ちあがり一緒に歌って踊って、楽しい思い出になりました。日本に帰ってからビデオを見ても楽しめます。ショーを見ていて食事内容はあまり覚えていませんが（最初に出てきたパンが美味しかったです）、1歳の娘もそれなりに食べていました。船の窓際にホコリがたまっていたのが気になりましたが、その他はスタッフの方も感じよく良いクルーズだと思います。でも、1回経験すればいいかな。

I took my girlfriend on the Star of Honolulu Sunset Dinner Cruise from Aloha Tower. She was new to Hawaii and was not sure what to expect. I appreciated the fact that they picked us up near the hotel we were staying. Upon arrival, we were guided to our casual dinner level, or deck. This was somewhat bothersome, just because there could have been more flow to it. Once we got on the ship, we were seated promptly. The tables were set and an orchid flower was placed in the middle of the dinner plate. (Very nice) Before long, we were off the dock and on to our adventure. The meal was buffet style, food was okay. While we dined, there was a single singer, who sang many of the songs associated with Hawaii and songs from movies about Hawaii. He was friendly and personable. After dinner, coffee and dessert was served on the outside deck. Shortly after, a smoking hot hula show began, where they explained the history of hula, as well as performed several numbers of Hawaiian music and dancing. While this was happening, a beautiful sunset was developing outside on the deck, and I was able to snap many quality sunset photos. We traveled parallel to the Waikiki hotel row, and went slightly past Diamond Head, before we turned back. It was an awesome experience and truly romantic. I have personally done the luau shows in and around Waikiki, and I always seem to gravitate back to the sunset dinner cruise. My belief is that I get the most value for my money on the sunset dinner cruise. I get a boat ride, a meal, a hula show and the beautiful sunset all for the price of one ticket. I will return.

I participated with my family of five. The place was almost full of Japanese people. During the cruise, there was Polynesian dance right in front of us, which was impressive. The all-you-can-eat crab course was just okay. It was very cold inside the room, so a long-sleeved jacket is a must.

Since my parents love crab, I chose this one-star course, but it doesn't suit me due to my constitution. I requested chicken instead of crab through the web application, but it wasn't mentioned on the voucher, so I wondered if my request had gone through. As expected, crab was served. When I informed the staff about the discrepancy, they just looked troubled and didn't seem ready to resolve the issue quickly. I didn't want to prolong what should have been a fun time with such exchanges, so I went ahead and had the crab. The staff didn't seem to check the web request at all, so I believe the request system itself is not functioning properly. I was left with only an unpleasant experience.

We booked a three-star cruise to celebrate our honeymoon. My husband thought we needed motion sickness medication because the ship swayed more than expected. The waiter was very polite, and all the food was delicious. The hula dancers, both female and male, were very impressive. It had been a long time since we danced to music in Japan, so it was fun to dance to songs like YMCA with everyone.

I booked a 5-star experience! The dinner cruise offers an exceptional view of the night scenery and shows from the sea, along with delicious course meals! There is a wide variety of drinks, and the timing of the food being served is just right! I recommend the Friday dinner cruise, as there are fireworks! If you keep the fireworks a secret from your girlfriend or wife, it will surely double their joy. However, the time returning to the port after the meal was long and a bit boring. I felt sleepy, which was tough (laughs).

This was my second time on board. Last time I was on the 3 Star, and this time it was the 1 Star... I really wanted a buffet style meal. Unfortunately, there was no buffet that day, so I decided to focus on eating crab!

Eating the crab required a bit of technique, and I wish I had brought crab crackers... They had the common pliers-type tools available, but it seemed like everyone around me was struggling too. I got so caught up in eating that I didn't enjoy the music or conversation, and my hands ended up all sticky...

I had some expectations, but it was more challenging than I thought. Still, I think I was satisfied. The steak was tender and delicious.

Since it was Friday, we were able to see fireworks from the ship. If you're going to go, I recommend a Friday with fireworks!

The food was delicious, the waiter was attentive, and the music and the hula show gave a nostalgic feeling of the good old days, which I appreciated. However, I gave it three stars because I couldn't see the sunset.

The bus was delayed waiting for passengers, resulting in a departure that was about 40 minutes (or possibly more) later than the original schedule. We also got caught in traffic, and I ended up watching the sunset from the bus. I had reserved a window seat to see it from the boat... I felt disappointed. When we arrived at the boat, the sunset had already disappeared, and it was dark outside. The guests next to us were already having seconds on their main course, and when our bus arrived, we felt the gaze of others as if we were the reason for the delay in the boat's departure, which was a bit disheartening.

Also, even if you secure a window seat on the boat, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll be on the side where you can see the sunset. The bus and the inside of the boat were very cold, so a jacket is essential.

ご飯は美味しかったし、ウェイターさんも対応がいいし、音楽も、フラショーも古き良き時代というかんじで、ちょっとしたノスタルジーを味わえところはよかったのですが、かんじんのサンセットを見れなかったという意味で星3にしました。

バスが遅れている乗船客を待ってしまったため、当初のバス出発時刻よりも40分(それ以上かもしれません)近く遅れての出発となりました。交通渋滞にもひっかかり、夕日が沈むのをバスの中から見る始末。。これを船から見るために窓側の席を予約したのに…という気持ちでした。船に着くと、夕日はすぐに沈んでしまい、外は暗くなってしまいました。両隣のお客さんもすでにメインをおかわりしている頃で、私たちのバスがつくと、私たちのせいで船の出発が遅れてるかのような視線をあびて、少し残念な気持ちになりました。

あと、船は窓際席を確保しても、サンセットが見える側とは限らないようです。バス、船内はとても寒いので、上着は必須です。

On the last day of our honeymoon, we included this tour in our itinerary. At the time of booking, I was unsure about the grade, but since it was a once-in-a-lifetime memory, I opted for the 5-star experience. The food, the wonderful live performances and singing, the sunset and night view from the observation deck, and the fireworks were all amazing. The staff's service was excellent, and everything was top-notch. The night view from Tantalus was also spectacular, and I would definitely recommend this for creating memories like a honeymoon.

申し込み段階ではグレードをどうしようか迷っていましたが、一生に一度の思い出作りと5スターを申し込みました。

We gathered at the meeting time and set off, but I don't know if it was because of the crowd, but we arrived just before sunset. Even after boarding, there were so many people that I couldn't move at all... After the sun went down, the boat departed... The main dish was supposed to be fish, but I ended up with two pieces of meat instead... I asked to have it changed to fish, but it still feels a bit unsatisfactory, haha. Overall, they kept the atmosphere lively, and I had fun. That's why I'm wondering if they could clear up the usual issues in the future.

It was my first sunset cruise. The steak was tender and very delicious, and they kept bringing baskets of crab, truly making it an all-you-can-eat experience. The hula dancers, all beautiful with nice bodies, danced inside the ship, and I was able to create special memories while watching the sunset over the sea.

In the second half, the staff encouraged everyone to stand up and dance in a circle, which was really fun. The staff members were all very kind, escorting the elderly to their cars and buses, which I found very impressive. Thank you very much for everything.

This was my second time on a 3-star dinner cruise, and I participated with my husband and his mother. The first time we went was just the two of us during our Hawaii wedding, but this time the experience was significantly better, and my mother-in-law was very satisfied. The finale of the show was interactive and created a sense of unity, and the overall duration of the show was long, keeping the entire floor lively until just before we returned to port. Many staff members spoke a little Japanese, and my mother, who was invited to dance, looked like she was having a great time. 3スターのディナークルーズ2回目となった今回は主人と主人の母と3人で参加しました。1回目は私達のハワイウェディングの際に2人で参加しましたが、今回はその時より格段に内容が良くなっていて、義母も大変満足していました。ショーの最後は参加型の一体感のある内容になっており、ショー全体の時間も長く帰港するギリギリまでフロア全体が盛り上がっていました。日本語を少し話せるスタッフも多く、踊りに誘われた母はとても楽しそうに踊っていました。もう少し安くなったら星5つですが、以前より食事の質も良くなっていてオススメですよ〜！

改装中だったためトイレが混んでて困りました。酔ってるため一階まで降りるのは大変ですし、スタッフは忙しそうで案内してくれず困ってる客が長蛇していました。
毎回思いますが、テーブルに案内する時にでも、フルーツやチーズ等のある場所や、自由に食べて良いことを教えてもらえないと、初めての人は分からないと思います。

I recommend getting the star seating. The dancers and crew are satisfying, but the buffet seating isn't great. It feels cramped in a small space. The food is also mediocre. I thought I would be able to see whales up close, so I imagined a dynamic experience. However, due to conservation measures, there was quite a distance, which was different from what I expected. Still, the weather was nice, and I enjoyed a morning meal, and it was fun to stick to the deck and watch the surface of the sea. We were also able to take photos with Diamond Head in the background. I thought it was great for those with children, as it wasn't dangerous at all. As someone who enjoys swimming with dolphins and diving, this is our impression. It wasn't that we couldn't see them at all, and it was nice to encounter a mother and calf whale. However, we could only see their backs and fins popping up in the distance.

クジラを間近で見れると思っていたので、ダイナミックな感じを想像していました。

でも、お天気も良くて、モーニングも頂けましたし、甲板にへばりついて海面を見ているのも楽しかったですよ。
ダイアモンドヘッドバックに撮影も出来ましたしね。
お子様をお連れの方は、危なくありませんしいいなと思いました。
イルカと一緒に泳いだり、ダイビングをするのが好きな私達の感想です。
全く見れないって事ではなかったし、親子のクジラに遭遇出来たのも良かったです。
でも、遠くにポコポコって背中やひれが見える程度ですよ。
