We used this for our honeymoon on the last day. Most people were dressed quite casually, especially the men who often wore T-shirts, shorts, and slippers. I had my husband wear long pants and shoes just to be safe, but it seemed like it wasn't a big deal. I wore a long dress, and the staff complimented me with "Pretty dress!"

We didn't have a guaranteed window seat, but we were seated by the window. However, the distance between our table and the next was very close. We happened to be seated next to two Korean guests, but if they had been Japanese, I think we would have heard everything they talked about, even if we didn't want to. (laughs)

The female staff member who served us wasn't very friendly; she tried to take our plates away even while we were still eating and the drinks took a long time to arrive. And they weren't very good...

I rated the food three stars this time. The appetizer salad looked like rabbit food, with 5-6 leaves of greens arranged and topped with a vinegar-like dressing. The greens were very bitter, and I think it would be a matter of personal taste. I was okay with it, but my husband couldn't eat it and had it taken away. However, the lobster was a whole one per person, and it was very plump, making us feel quite luxurious! There were performances and dances on stage, and audience participation dances as well. We aren't good at that sort of thing, so we just watched everyone dancing from our seats, but it was fun. The dancers looked like they were having a great time.

We returned to Waikiki around 8 PM, which allowed us to do some shopping and make good use of our time. The sunset was beautiful, and overall, I think it was a good dinner cruise. However, considering the high price even for three stars, I felt that once was enough for this experience.

服装はみなさん結構ラフな感じで、男性は特にTシャツ・短パン・スリッパの方が多かったです。主人には一応長ズボンと靴をはいてもらって参加しましたが、あまり気にしなくてよかったようです。私はロングワンピースを着ていましたが、スタッフの方に「プリティードレス！」と誉めていただけました。
窓際席の確約はしていませんでしたが、窓際席に案内してもらいました。ただ隣の席との距離はとても近いです。私達はたまたま両サイドが韓国の方だったのですが、日本人だときっと話す内容が聞きたくなくてもまる聞こえだと思います。笑
サービスをしてくれた女性のスタッフは、食べている途中でも少しステージを観ているだけでお皿を下げようとしてきたり、愛想はあまり良くない方でした。そしてドリンクはとても来るのが遅いです。そして美味しくなかった、、、。
料理は今回３スターにしました。前菜のサラダ(？)はまるでウサギのエサのような葉野菜が5～6枚並べられて上からビネガーっぽいドレッシングがかかっていました。その葉野菜がとても苦く、好みが分かれそうなお味でした。私は大丈夫でしたが主人は食べれず残して下げてもらっていました。しかし、ロブスターは一人にまるまる1匹出てきて身もプリプリ、とても贅沢な気分を味わえました！ステーキも柔らかく美味しい方だとは思いますが、ワイキキでたくさん美味しいステーキを食べてきた私達からしたら少し残念な印象・・・。でもディナークルーズの料理と割り切るときっと美味しいお料理だと思います！
ステージでは演奏やダンスがあって、客席参加型のダンス等もありました。私達はそういうのが苦手で席で皆さんが踊っているのを見ていましたが楽しかったです。踊っている方たちも楽しそうでした。
帰りは20時頃にはワイキキに帰れたのでそれからショッピングが出来たりして時間を有効に使えました。
夕日も綺麗に見えましたし、総合して良いディナークルーズだとは思いますが、いくら3スターといえ高額な料金なので、この程度なら一度体験できればもう次はいいかな、といった感じの印象でした。

After that, we spotted tails and spouts about five times, with intervals of 5 to 15 minutes. Although we didn't see any spectacular jumps, we were able to see the whales.

The view of the hotels in Waikiki and Diamond Head from offshore is truly breathtaking. The curry rice for lunch was very Japanese, and while the variety was limited, the other dishes were delicious as well. I came to Hawaii in January when whales are often seen, so I decided to sign up for a tour. It ended in the morning, which made it easy to plan my day.

There were not many Japanese people.

Since the pickup was around 7 AM, I had lunch in my room. It seemed like there was time to have breakfast before the boat reached the whale watching point, so a plan that included breakfast might have been nice.

To be honest, I didn't think it would be possible to see whales this reliably. I wasn't able to see them jumping out of the water, but I was satisfied to see rainbows when they spouted water.

It was my experience on the day I arrived in Honolulu, and I almost ended up being late. I misunderstood the pickup location and couldn't make it on time. When I called, they told me the bus had already left, so I needed to go directly to the port. I was anxious in the taxi because they said the ship would leave at the departure time. I barely made it in time and jumped onto the ship, but I was disappointed that it didn't depart for a while. Even after the time they mentioned had passed, many people were still boarding, and it didn't leave for about 30 minutes, so I wished they had communicated that better. They mentioned that men should wear aloha shirts, but most of the people boarding were in regular clothes. I really hope they provide accurate information. I actually spent time getting an aloha shirt and almost got delayed because I confused the pickup location with another tour.

That said, the night view of Waikiki was beautiful, and the food was delicious. The Hawaiian dance show was wonderful, and since it was Saturday, I got to see the fireworks at Hilton. On the way back, I took the designated bus and safely returned to the hotel. Although there were troubles, I decided to switch my mindset, thinking this would also become a memory of Hawaii.

とはいえ、ワイキキの夜景はとってもきれいで、食事もおいしかった。ハワイアンダンスのショーもすてきだったし、土曜日だったので、ヒルトンの花火も見られた。
帰りは指定のバスに乗って無事ホテルまで戻った。トラブったけど、これもハワイの思い出になるだろうと、気持ちを切り替えたのだった。

Let me start by saying that everyone was so friendly. My husband was here on a business trip so I came to do this tour on my own. The free transportation they provided went very smoothly. Pick up from my hotel and drop off at the end. One of the reasons I picked this tour group was the guarantee to see whales. Upon arriving, they welcome you and let you know where the lunch buffet is and that you can sit on any floor. The weather was beautiful and the sailing was very smooth. Unfortunately, there were no whales or aquatic life to be seen. At the end of the tour I was given a voucher to come back another day. I came back the next. Unfortunately again, I had the same experience. I found out later from locals that it's hard to see them in major boat trafficking areas. So while I didn't get to see any whales or aquatic life, the trip itself was nice. I was able to converse with other travelers and have some nice water time.

The countdown was also on a boat... I applied because I wanted to see the sunset from the boat. There was a welcome Mai Tai (non-alcoholic options are available), and when we boarded the boat, we were greeted with Hawaiian dance. The roast and beef, which were cut and served on the spot, were delicious. My mother particularly enjoyed the salad that resembled somen noodles. I thought that the floor with the full-course meal had the flamenco dance and Hawaiian music, but no, they were also present on the buffet dining floor, performing and dancing. There was also a dance time where guests could participate, making it a fun experience. We had a great view of the sunset. The night view was enjoyable as well. It's easy to go out to the deck, so we could take plenty of photos. There was also self-service coffee and cakes available. Since my mother and I applied together, we ended up sharing a round table with another family, and we had a great time with them too.

The atmosphere of cruising while enjoying the breeze on the rooftop deck was fantastic. However, the air conditioning on the second floor was too strong, making it quite cold and not very comfortable for a long stay, so I recommend bringing a jacket for those participating. I think it's best not to have high expectations for the food. This time, I happened to choose the fireworks viewing plan, but there was over two hours between sunset and the fireworks, which made the waiting feel tedious and tiring. Ultimately, I think a plan without fireworks viewing would have been better. Next time, I would like to board with a plan that doesn't include fireworks viewing.

屋上デッキで風を浴びながらのクルーズの雰囲気は最高でした。
ただ、２Ｆフロアーはクーラーがききすぎて、寒く、とても長居できないので、参加される方は、上着持参されたほうが良いと思います。
料理はそんなに期待しないほうが良いと思います。
今回たまたま花火鑑賞プランを選びましたが、サンセットから花火までの時間が２時間以上あるので、途中時間を弄び、逆に疲れました。
結果的には、花火鑑賞がついてないプランの方が良かったと思います。
次回は、花火鑑賞付きプラン以外で乗船したいと思います。

I will be boarding the Star of Honolulu, which I've always admired! It's a very beautiful and large ship, and the restrooms are really clean and comfortable.

I opted for the buffet, and I heard that on the day of the cruise, you can add an extra person for $12 for more food. The buffet was very delicious, and I went back for seconds on the sausages! The drink options are plentiful, and you can buy tasty alcoholic beverages if you're willing to spend a little more.

I'm the type to get seasick, and I forgot to bring my motion sickness medication, so I was a bit anxious. However, the ship is large, so it didn't sway much, and I had no problems at all.

The only disappointing thing was that we didn't see any whales. I was excited to join because it was said that there was a high chance of seeing them, but we didn't see any whales, sea turtles, or dolphins—nothing at all. We just ended up staring at the horizon for the entire time.

For those who didn't see anything, there is a free return ticket for the next time, but it seems that it’s only valid for this season and must be used by April of this year. Also, it doesn't include hotel pick-up or the buffet.

飲み物も充実していますし、お金を出せば美味しいお酒も買えます！
船酔いするタイプの私ですのですが酔い止めを忘れて乗ってしまい不安でした。ですが船自体が大きいのでそこまで揺れず全く問題なかったです。

ただ一つ残念だったのが、ホエールが見えなかったことです。高い確率で見られるとのことでワクワクして参加しましたが、ホエールは勿論。ウミガメもイルカも何も見えませんでした。
見えないのをただただひたすら海の水平線を眺めて終わりました。

見えなかった方には次回の無料乗船券がもらえるのですが、今期のみで今年の4月までに行かなくてはならないそうで、ホテルへの送迎やブュッフェは付属しないとのことでした。

ハワイに行くのは一年に一度程度ですので、そんなに短い期間の乗船券だと使えません！！
しかも英語で説明されるので日本語しかわからない我々はどこでチケットをもらっていいかわからず戸惑いました。
チケットをもらわずわからないまま帰宅した方も大勢おられたようでした。

もう少し日本語ができるスタッフがいてくれると助かると思います。

I've been to Hawaii more than ten times, but this was my first sunset cruise. I participated with my wife on our last day. The buffet food was average, but the entertainment was rich, with enjoyable songs and hula, and the final dance with all the guests was a highlight. The staff was friendly, and we had a great time. I recommend it as a perfect way to end your trip. The buffet-style class was sufficient.

On New Year's Eve, I took my parents in their 50s and participated as a family of four. We chose the plan that included lobster. We were told that a window seat wasn't available for four people, so we were seated at a middle table for eight, but the family we shared it with was from overseas, which allowed us to enjoy an exotic atmosphere. The lobster was incredibly delicious!! I splurged, but I really felt it was worth it to choose this plan! We enjoyed the scenery from sunset to night view, and the boat didn't sway much, so I almost forgot I was on a boat. The show was absolutely fantastic! It was so much fun to participate with everyone! At the end, we were able to take photos together. It seemed like my parents had a great time, so I definitely plan to make a reservation for next time!

I was worried about whether I would see any whales on my long-awaited whale watching tour, but I was able to meet many whales.

At first, they were far away, and I couldn't see them up close, so I thought maybe that was all there was. Just as I started to relax and have lunch, I was able to see a whale jumping through the glass! It was from the side, so it was beautifully visible, and everyone on board applauded enthusiastically. 念願のホエールウォッチングで、見れるか心配だったけど、沢山のクジラたちに会えました。

始めは遠くにいてなかなか近くで見れなかったので、もうこのくらいなのかなぁと油断してランチを始めたら、ガラス越しにジャンプするクジラを見ることが出来ました！！それも、横からだったのでキレイに見れて参加者全員拍手喝采でした❇
なので、海面が穏やかでも油断大敵だなと思います！

また、3歳の子どもと参加しましたが、アクティビティも沢山あったし、食事もライスも麺もあったので食べてくれましたし、飲み物も有料や無料があってどちらも良かったです！

そして、クジラたちたちと離れても景色も海の色も空の色も素晴らしいので大満足なツアーでした！

また、ハワイに行くときは必ず参加しようと思います！

I used this service with my friend's family. Since it was Christmas, the city was very crowded, and the bus took longer than expected. I think it was tough for the driver. We enjoyed catching glimpses of the Christmas decorations in the city from the bus. Thank you for the drive.

The sunset cruise was, as always, beautifully scenic and very romantic.

Even more than that, the party afterward was so much fun. Singing and dancing together with the staff and other guests was a blast. It became a wonderful memory.
