The initial date I had booked was canceled due to weather conditions. It wasn't raining, but it was probably quite windy. I received an email about the cancellation around 8:00 AM on the day of the event, so I recommend checking your email before heading to the location. If the event is canceled, you can choose to either get a refund or reschedule. I opted to reschedule. The process is completed on the Veltra website. Since bad weather is unavoidable, if you really want to go parasailing, it's a good idea to incorporate it into the earlier part of your Hawaii trip so that you can reschedule if it gets canceled. I appreciate that safety is prioritized.

It was my first time parasailing, and I was a bit scared, so I chose the 120m option. Even at 120m, it was high enough, and the view was beautiful, which made me very satisfied. The boat was small and quite fast, so it's better to take motion sickness medication beforehand. I filmed a video of my parasailing experience with a GoPro, and I'm glad I got some very immersive footage.

At one point, I was splashed into the sea and got a little wet, so it's better to wear a swimsuit. If you're bringing a camera or smartphone, I think it's a good idea to put it in a waterproof case just in case. 途中、海にドボンされ、少し濡れるので水着で行った方がいいです。カメラやスマホを持ち込む際は念の為防水ケースなどに入れると良いと思います。
1月の参加ということもあり、少し肌寒く、ラッシュガードを羽織っての参加でちょうど良かったです。

I think it would be beneficial to check the days when low tide coincides with the tour time, as participating then may enhance your satisfaction. While the dry season is likely the best time to join, I still had a great time even on a cloudy day.

I didn't mind the rocking of the boat. I took motion sickness medication, which seemed to help, and I was able to enjoy myself without feeling sick. The light snack of spam onigiri was delicious. There were also cocoa, miso soup, and snacks available, which made for a fulfilling experience.

In January, the weather was cloudy, so the sea felt cold, but I gradually got used to it. I participated in a swimsuit, rash guard, rash trunks, and reef shoes, which kept me comfortable. Each group received one stand-up paddleboard (SUP), allowing us to enjoy it to the fullest. The water was quite shallow, so there was no worry about drowning. After thoroughly enjoying the SUP, I joined the snorkeling activity. Even for first-timers, the staff provides support, so you can enjoy it with peace of mind. I brought a GoPro, so I was able to capture videos underwater. I recommend bringing your smartphone in a waterproof case or a waterproof camera to take plenty of photos and videos. Many Japanese participants joined, and there were explanations in Japanese each time, with all the staff being very kind. Luggage is stored under the chairs by group, so it's advisable to bring a bag that can get wet since there is a possibility of getting splashed. 1月の参加で天気も曇りでしたので海は冷たく感じましたがだんだんと慣れてきました。服装は水着+ラッシュガード、ラッシュトレンカ、リーフシューズで参加し、快適に過ごせました。SUPは1グループに1つ配られるので思う存分楽しむことができました。結構浅瀬なので溺れる心配もありませんでした。SUPを十分に楽しんだ後はシュノーケルに参加しました。シュノーケルが初めての人でもスタッフがサポートしてくれるので安心して楽しめます。GoProを持って行ったので海中の動画を撮ることができました。防水ケースに入れてスマホを持っていくか、防水カメラを持っていくと写真や動画がたくさん取れて楽しめると思います。日本人が多く参加しており、日本語での説明も毎回あり、スタッフは全員とても親切でした。荷物はグループごとに椅子の下にしまいます。水に濡れる可能性があるので水に濡れても良いカバンで参加するのがオススメです。コインロッカーはないので、パスポートなどの貴重品は持参せず、チップ分の現金とクレジットカード1枚だけ持って行くと良いと思います。

帰りのバスでマラサダのキッチンカーに寄ってくれて、そこは現金が使えず、クレジットガードのみだったのでマラサダを食べたい人はクレジットカードを持って行くと良いと思います。

チップは船上のスタッフさんに渡したのと、帰りにバスの運転手さんにも渡しました。それぞれ用意しておくのがいいかと思います。

It was unfortunate that we encountered wind and rain during the rainy season.

First, everyone freely brought pineapple banana cake, coffee, and tea from the front of the first floor and enjoyed them at their seats. The cinnamon-flavored pineapple banana cake was very delicious.

After that, we listened to an explanation about whales using a translation app on our phones. We were then allowed to move freely up to the fourth floor of the ship, so we carefully made our way to the top observation deck and enjoyed the view.

Fortunately, the rain wasn't too heavy, so we were able to enjoy the scenery of Honolulu. We could see Diamond Head and the cityscape from the sea side. It was particularly meaningful for me since I had hiked up Diamond Head the day before on the same optional tour with Veltra, which took about 30 minutes.

The waves were high, and although we couldn't see the whales, we were able to spot their spouts several times. We saw the spouts relatively close by, and all the passengers were excitedly pointing at them. If the weather had been better, we might have seen even more.

The shuttle service was only available in the morning, allowing us to spend the afternoon leisurely, which was nice.

そのあとクジラについての説明を携帯の翻訳アプリを使って聞きました。その後は船の４階まで自由に移動してよいとのことだったので、船の揺れに気をつけながら最上の展望階に上がり、眺めていました。
ただ雨は大半は大丈夫だったので、ホノルルの風景は楽しめました。ダイヤモンドヘッドや街並が海から側から眺められます。ダイヤモンドヘッドは前日同じベルトラさんのオプショナルツアーで、３０分かけて登った後だったので感慨深いものがありました。
波が高く、クジラは姿は確認出来なかったのですが、潮吹きを何度か見られました。割と近くで何度か潮吹きが見られたので、乗船客の皆んなが指を差して盛り上がっていました。天候に恵まれれば更に良く見えたかもしれません。
送迎付きは午前中だけで体験できるので、午後も有効にゆったり過ごせるので楽でした。

Premier seat reservation for a family of four.
I was hoping to be seated on the front side, but we ended up on the edge of the front row. I was worried about whether we would be able to see properly, but it turned out to be quite impressive because we were so close (though we did get a little splashed).
I think the theater has good visibility with steps in all the seats, but if you have small children, it might be wise to be careful with your seat selection. If a larger person from Europe or America sits in front of you, you might not be able to see.

The luau was lovely. Food and entertainment were excellent. We were extremely disappointed that the luau was moved from outside (Oceanside) to inside. We had cancelled a different luau in order to attend this one advertised as oceanfront. The weather was a bit cool but not prohibitive.

We booked the Kaneohe sandbar standard package as we had our 2 year old kid travelling with us. We got to do a bit of everything swim, snorkel, kayak and paddleboard. My son enjoyed his first kayak ride. There is a good deck once u reach the sandbar where we can relax in between activities. The crew were friendly and hospitalable. We enjoyed the music onboard. I would definitely recommend the Kaneohe sandbar experience to anyone visiting Oahu !!!!

I enjoyed a thrilling and exciting time. My son, who is in his third year of middle school, was also happy. Although my reservation was confirmed, the email from Veltra only registered one ticket, so I had to pick up another ticket at the service counter. However, the staff were kind, and even though the two of us couldn't speak English, we were assisted without any difficulty. It seems better to head to the reception early, as there were many people who entered just before the show started. I also remember seeing a note that drinks could only be purchased inside the venue, but it was quite vague. When I asked the staff checking tickets if I could bring in a plastic bottle, they just ignored the question.

こういうこともあるので、早めに受付に向かう方が良さそうです。
ただ、ほとんどの方は開演直前になって入場して来られる感じでした。
また飲み物は店内購入以外持ち込めないような記載があった気がしますが、わりとアバウトで、ペットボトル持込可能かをチケット確認のスタッフに聞いたら、スルーでした。

The weather was nice, and the wind was calm, so I didn't feel seasick at all. As soon as we headed out, we were able to see a mother and baby whale. Although the staff only spoke English, they were very service-oriented and moved us to another area to search for and show us another whale. I had hoped to enjoy the cruising even if we didn't see any whales, but it turned out to be the best whale watching experience!

天気も良く風も穏やかで船酔いも全くしませんでした。沖に出てすぐに親子のくじらを見られました。英語のみですがスタッフもサービス精神があり、また別のエリアに移動して別のくじらも探して見せてくれました。
くじらが見られない日もあるようだったので、クルージングだけでも楽しめればと思いましたが、最高のホエールウォッチングになりました！

I had a great time seeing whales, dolphins, and turtles! The ocean was incredibly beautiful. Captain T J, Kristin, and Minako were all kind and easy to understand.
