We decided to come here as a family for our first trip to Hawaii. Both adults and children had a great time. Perhaps it was the warm climate, the air, and the sense of openness in Hawaii, but the theme park allowed adults to return to their childhood, even if a little shyly. Each attraction was dynamic, and the scale was vastly different from Japanese theme parks. Moreover, attractions like Cliffhanger and Shaka, which are thrilling, were harmoniously combined with more relaxing attractions like Kapolei Cooler, making it a very enjoyable and pleasant theme park. Kaz, the shuttle driver, was amazing! I was imagining Wild Blue in Yokohama, but maybe it was the time of year, as it was empty and we could ride as much as we wanted! My 18-year-old daughter and I forgot our ages and had a blast (laughs). Just don't expect much from the shower and food. You could say it's natural (laughs).

We were really looking forward to it as a family, but on the day, it was unfortunately pouring rain! Although we changed into our swimsuits, the rain and cold made it feel like swimming was out of the question. However, the kids boldly jumped in without a care. The facility was so appealing that I couldn't help but wish for better weather...

The pool itself was well-equipped, and there were plenty of lifeguards, which made it feel safe and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the changing rooms and shower areas were not very hygienic and were difficult to use. Overall, the attractions were decent, so I would like to visit again on a sunny day.

I participated on October 27. I arrived in Oahu on the 23rd and spent most of my time shopping, so I felt a bit guilty towards my child. However, I think bringing them to this facility helped make up for it. My child is still small, so they couldn't experience thrilling slides, but they were more than satisfied just playing on the slides and equipment in the children's zone. Even though it's a children's zone, the slides and other attractions are enjoyable for adults as well, so parents could have fun without getting bored. The downside is the short duration of stay, but there's not much that can be done unless the facility's hours are extended. Paying the regular adult and child fees might feel a bit pricey, but taking advantage of Alan's free child admission system makes it feel like a good deal, and overall, I think it's satisfying. Also, the locker keys are self-managed, allowing you to open and close them freely throughout the day (locker usage fee is charged), so you can bring cameras, videos, or cash without worrying about theft while playing. Considering the duration of stay, it would be better to grab a meal at the food stand inside the facility.

　10月27日に参加しました。　23日にオアフ島に到着し買い物ばかりにつき合わせていたので、子供には悪いな~と思っていましたが、こちらの施設に連れてきて罪滅ぼしになったかなと思いました。　私の子供はまだ小さいのでスリリングなスライダー等は体験できませんでしたが、子供ゾーンの滑り台や遊具での遊びだけでも十分に満足していました。　子供ゾーンといえども、滑り台等は大人でも楽しめる物なので、親も飽きる事無く楽しめました。　マイナス点は、滞在時間が短い事ですが、施設の営業時間が延長されない限り仕方が無いでしょうね。　大人料金と子供料金を正規で支払っては割高感があるでしょうがＡＬＡＮさんの子供料金タダのシステムを利用させて頂けばお得感も有り、トータル的に満足出来ると思います。　あと、ロッカーの鍵は自己管理で終日開け閉めは自由に出来ます(ロッカー使用料は有料)ので、カメラやビデオ又は現金等を持っていっても、盗難等気にせずに遊べますよ。　食事は滞在時間の事を考えると施設内のフード売店で済ませたほうが良いでしょうね。

I have been to Hawaiian Waters once, and it was indeed fun! My first time in Hawaii! I did a lot of research and decided to go to the Hawaiian Water Adventure Park. I arranged just the entrance fee through Alan without transportation and took the "bus" as my means of getting there. It said it would take about 50 minutes, so I thought that was fine, but it actually took an hour and a half...
Plus, since it was my first time in Hawaii, I couldn't really appreciate the scenery, and the announcements were inconsistent. My anxiety kept growing.
So, in my opinion, you should definitely go with transportation included!!! It's a waste of time otherwise, and it's a lot easier for anyone to go.
The pool is amazing!! I don't go to pools much in Japan, so I'm not sure, but there are so many slides that you can only find in Hawaii!
It's super fun! I highly recommend it! I’ve decided that when I go to Hawaii again, I will definitely go to the pool!

On October 5th, I participated with transportation provided but no meals included. It was sunny and hot, but the pool water was cold, and there was a breeze that made it feel a bit chilly. The shuttle bus on the way there was freezing due to the strong air conditioning, but on the way back, it was more comfortable, likely considering we were wet.

Since I attended with my two children, aged 5 and 2, our options for attractions were limited, but the wave pool was very fun, especially since we could borrow large floats. The water at Keiki Cove wasn't very clean. However, the kids had a great time. The dining area gets quite crowded around lunchtime, so I recommend going early. Also, you need to settle the payment before lining up, so if you unknowingly queue at the counter first, you'll have to start over.

Overall, I rate the experience highly, but since time is limited, I think it's better to have a light meal quickly and spend more time enjoying the attractions.

子供５歳と２歳を連れての参加だったのでアトラクションは限られていましたが、波のプールは大きな浮き輪も借りられて大変おもしろかったです。ケイキコーブはあまり水がきれいではなかったです。が、子供たちは十分に楽しめました。食事は昼時は結構混みあうので早めに行った方がいいかと思われました。それと先にお会計を済ませてから並ばないといけないので知らずにそのまま窓口に並ぶとまた１から並びなおしです・・・。
総じて評価は高いのですが、時間が限られているので食事は早めに軽めにすませて時間たっぷり遊んだ方がいいかと思います。

My husband and I participated together. Since there was no shuttle service, we used the local bus. We set off early in the morning with determination, and it was easy since there was only one transfer, but it took quite a while from downtown Honolulu.

We arrived much earlier than the opening time and waited anxiously, unsure of where to show our voucher. (We skimped on the shuttle cost, but it turned out to be a good experience since we could talk with locals.)

I had some anxiety about my first trip to Hawaii, but the pickup time was as scheduled, and we were able to enter smoothly. We had a total of 13 participants: 6 adults, 4 elementary school students, and 3 preschoolers. The kids were thrilled with the exciting attractions! There was also a pool suitable for toddlers, so both adults and children lost track of time and played without even having lunch.

During the trip with my grandparents, my grandpa took the kids who weren't suited for the pool. However, I regret not bringing them along. I think they would have enjoyed just watching. Also, it would have been nice to let my little grandchild splash around in the kiddie pool. It was late September, but the sunlight (UV rays) was intense. It's best to take more than enough care with sunscreen. The free admission for kids was a great help.

On the bus to the park, we received a brochure, and we were already excited about what to do first. I was worried about the pickup, but it arrived on time, and we got there before the park opened. Since outside food and drinks are not allowed, there was a simple bag check. I had a great time. There were lots of pools and slides to enjoy. Of course, since I had a 3-year-old with me, we couldn't go on the intense slides, but the slides in the children's pool were quite enjoyable for little ones.

Considering the time needed for changing and lunch (which can take about an hour with kids), the actual playtime was around 3 hours, which felt a bit short. However, given the intense Hawaiian sun, I think this duration was just about right.

The cost was also cheaper than booking through major options, and in the end, we took the same shuttle bus as the larger groups, so when you factor in transportation costs plus admission fees, I think it was a good deal.

I was honestly hesitant at first about going to the pool, especially since we went all the way to Hawaii, but we had a great time. My first-grade son was thrilled and said he definitely wants to go again. The power of the wave pool is incredible. I thought it was just an ordinary pool with a lot of floaties until the waves started. Among the many slides, the one where you go down headfirst, as shown in the photo, was my son's absolute favorite. You don't really find that in Japan. I think families with children will definitely enjoy it. As many have mentioned, the short duration is a downside. We were a bit rushed because we lost track of time waiting for the waves to start... I recommend it for families who love pools and slides.

I visited Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park for the first time. I went with a group of 4 adults and 5 children (2 in 1st grade, 2 in 3rd grade, and 1 in 4th grade).

The kids, of course, and the adults had a great time as well.

The atmosphere felt like we were all challenging ourselves at an amusement park with thrilling rides.

There were some slides that were a bit tough for the 1st graders, but the 3rd and 4th graders were able to try almost everything (though I did push them a bit). For the 1st graders, there was a fun pool for kids, and they happily played there.

One thing I noticed, as mentioned in other reviews, was that the time felt a bit short. Fun times seem to fly by, and it might just feel shorter because of that.

In our case, we gathered at 8:30, took a bus that stopped at other hotels, and arrived at the park around 10:00. After receiving an explanation, we entered around 10:30. Lunch was at 12:00, so the maximum time we could play in the morning was about an hour and a half. In the afternoon, we had to gather at 2:45, so even with a 30-minute lunch, we only had about 2 hours to play in the afternoon. I wished we could have played for at least another hour!

小学1年には、KID'S用の楽しいプールがあったので、喜んで遊んでました。

気になったのは、他の書き込みにもあるように時間が少し短い？と感じました。
楽しい時間はすぐに時間が経ち、短く感じるのかも？知れませんが、

私達の場合
8時半に集合でバスに乗って他のホテルを回って、パークに移動
パークに10時くらいに到着し、説明をうけて10時半頃に入場
12時から昼食なので、午前中に遊べる時間はMAX1時間半
午後は2時45分に集合だったので、昼食が30分としても、午後に2時間程度しか
遊べませんでした。
せめて後一時間くらいは遊びたかったかな！と思いました。

でもトータルで考えると、すごく楽しかったので、また行きたいです。

However, the use of bodyboards was alternating, and the time for each wave was short (about 5 minutes?), which seemed to leave them a bit frustrated. There were some quite intense rides, and as someone who isn't good with roller coasters, it was tough for me, but I managed to enjoy it somewhat. We each had our own meals, which I think was the right choice. The hot dogs were delicious. There was a height restriction for some rides, and surprisingly, it was quite strict, so the kids couldn't pass and ended up crying. They seemed really frustrated and are fired up for a revenge attempt. Since the park opens later, I might try taking the bus next time.

This is my second visit to Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park. Last time, my child was only 5 years old, so we couldn't participate in many attractions. The Shaka ride, in particular, was thrilling and the kids were super excited.
