This is a nice little park, with a wonderful kids play area, a lazy water float under a water fall and a couple of deep drops. Perfect for people with access problems (I am round with bad knees). Many of the slower "rides" have ramped access to them. The staff quality is misleading. Some of the staff were excellent and fun, seemed to really enjoy working at the park and playing with the toys, showing guests how to have a good time. However; some of them looked bored and like they would rather be eating liver. Every year I like to get an airbrush tatoo which lasts the length of my vacation, to I pick a special one. This time, it didn't even last the afternoon. The guy did not clean my skin, or dust it afterwards and it came off before we left the park. This is a nice way to spend a few hours at a slower pace. Thrill seekers or action junkies will find this way too tame; recommended fore everyone else!

I went with a 9-year old and the waterpark was a blast. They don't have a ton of slides, but the ones they do have are amazing. I wouldn't recommend it for much younger children because most of the rides not only have a height requirement, but are pretty intense as well.

I participated in the Big Splash Package.

The wave pool and thrilling slides offer an intensity that you can't experience in Japan. My top recommendation is the wave pool and the white V-shaped slide called "Shaka." The tube slide that you go down in complete darkness is also a lot of fun.

It might have been the off-season, but the park was not crowded, allowing us to enjoy the attractions without long wait times. Even when there was a line, it was only about 5 to 6 people.

The staff who took care of us on-site were energetic and very friendly. The travel time from the hotel is quite long, but on the way back, you’re so tired from playing that you can fall asleep in no time.

You can experience everything in a day, so it may not be a place you want to visit again soon, but I definitely recommend it for first-timers.

ホテルとの移動時間が結構長いのですが、帰りは遊び疲れているのでぐっすり眠ればあっという間です。

一日いれば一通り遊び切れる内容なので、もう一回行きたくなる程のものではないですが、初めての方には絶対お勧めです。

However, it was a bit disappointing that the return meeting time was early when transportation was included. With lunch included, the time flew by.

This was my second time participating. I highly recommend the Big Splash Package! This time, we took advantage of the summer vacation family special rate (with transportation included), which was quite a deal.
*For 2 adults and 1 child, it was $136 (normally $184, with the Splash rate at $134, so for just $2 more, we got meals and a bodyboarding experience).

As a dad planning a family of surfers, the ability to safely bodyboard was a deciding factor for me.

The meals were all-you-can-eat, and the beef and chicken were delicious.

The bodyboarding experience was as fun as I expected.

My little one was riding just like this.

Local bodyboarders were also riding standing up!

The kids' pool has plenty of slides, so I don't think they'll get bored.

The time was a bit short, but it surprisingly used up a lot of energy, so it was just right.

Since this was my sixth time in Oahu, I was looking for places I hadn't been to yet, and I signed up for this popular tour.

My impression is that the facility wasn't as large as I expected, and although we had about four hours, it was sufficient. I think it's good for those who have been to Hawaii multiple times, but it might feel like a waste of time for first-time visitors. Toshimaen is larger in scale (laughs).

The most interesting part was the Shaka, which is like a halfpipe. Be careful not to hurt your neck! The Cliffhanger wasn't as scary as I thought, so I went down about ten times.

What I liked here, unlike in Japan, is that it wasn't crowded. The pool itself was average and not very exciting, so I just kept going down the slides, and I got tired climbing back up, resulting in muscle soreness. Therefore, I recommend going on the last day.

In the wave pool, the waves can reach 2 meters, which could pose a drowning risk even for adults... I wonder if such regulations would be too strict in Japan? Basically, overseas, the mindset seems to be that if someone drowns, it's their own fault; it's all about personal responsibility. If you go with the image of a Japanese theme park, you'll be pleasantly surprised in a good way (laughs). You can easily spend a whole day here, but it's definitely worth the fun. Also, as someone else mentioned, when riding the Shaka attraction, be sure to lift your butt off the seat. Your swimsuit will definitely tear, and you might end up with some skin irritation. Be careful!

I visited an adventure park for the first time. It's enjoyable for both adults and children, and my boys, aged 5 and 8, were able to enjoy most of the attractions. They said it was the most fun part of our trip to Hawaii, even more than the pool.

I particularly recommend Hurricane Bay, where you can take bodyboard lessons. You can enjoy riding the waves, both big and small. For beginners, the staff (who were really cool) help you catch the waves. During the lessons, no one else is allowed in the pool, so we felt a sense of exclusivity while others waited by the poolside.

I definitely recommend participating in the Big Splash Package. My husband and kids got so caught up in the fun that they scraped their feet. If you have aqua shoes, it's a good idea to bring them along.

I was very satisfied with the tour and especially with Alan. I left something on the bus on the way back, and the staff was very kind in handling it. All the staff on-site and on the phone were Japanese, which was very reassuring. I definitely want to use Alan's services again next time. Thank you very much!

特におすすめなのがハリケーン・ベイ。ここでボディ・ボード・レッスンを受けます。大・小の波がきて波乗りが楽しめます。初めての人も係りのお兄さん（かっこよかった~）が波にのせてくれます。レスッスンの間は私達以外の人はプールに入れません。一般の人はプールサイドで待ってます。とても優越感に浸りました。
（そうそう入場も団体入場口から1番早く中に入れましたよ)

ぜひビッグ・スプラッシュ・パッケージでの参加をお勧めします。それから遊びに夢中になって主人と子供が足を擦りむいていました。アクアシューズをお持ちでしたら持参されるといいですよ。
今回、ツアーはもちろんですがアランさんに大満足です。
帰りのバスに忘れ物をしたんですがその時の対応もすごく親切でした。現地でのスタッフや電話の対応もすべて日本人でとても心強かったです。次も絶対アランさんを利用したいと思いました。本当にありがとうございました。

I took my children, aged 5, 9, and 11, and my 5-year-old took a swimming test. Since he passed the test, he was able to enjoy thrilling rides with his siblings and me, which doubled the fun. If you have a child who meets the height requirements and is not afraid of water, I highly recommend having them take the swimming test. I participated with the Splash Package. There were various slides, and it was the perfect attraction for me since I got bored with the boogie boards. Entry was prioritized for tour participants, so while the park opened at 10:30, those on the tour were allowed in from 10:10. However, even though there weren't that many people in the park, there were long lines for drinks and food. Although drinks are free, during lunchtime, it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to get drinks and food. I also thought that a departure time of 15:00 seemed a bit early.

I recommend it for those who are tired of Waikiki Beach.

We participated in the Splash Package for two adults and two children (grades 2 and 6). It was so much fun!! I enjoyed it even more than the kids. There are slides and wave pools in Japan, but the sizes are different. The waves are bigger here. Time flew by in an instant. I thought the gathering time of 2:45 PM was a bit early, especially since the operating hours are until 4:30 PM. Bringing food and drinks is completely prohibited!! They had strict checks, similar to those at an airport. Also, the lockers are small for $5 and large for $9, but for a family, you definitely need the large one. It's a locker that allows you to access it freely throughout the day, so you can enjoy without worrying about money or cameras.

I went with 7 teenagers. They seemed to enjoy the park. It was very expensive compared to waterparks in California. The extra money we spent to have the BBQ lunch was not worth it. The kids would have preferred hamburgers and fries.There is not much for adults to do except the lazy river. The park was really clean and seemed kept up. The kids liked the surf rider and went on many times. The 5 dollar wristband for that was a good value.

We went as a family of four. This was our fourth visit to Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park, and this time we chose the Big Splash Package for the first time, which I think was the right decision. The kids really loved the bodyboarding lesson at Hurricane Bay that was included in the package. With the instructor giving them a good push at the right moment, they were able to ride the waves surprisingly far and seemed to have a lot of fun. I was worried about my second-grade daughter, but she played and rode the waves the whole time.

I didn't have high expectations for the barbecue lunch, but it turned out to be surprisingly satisfying, with plenty of meat and vegetables. For activities, we went on the water slide with inflatable rings as much as we could, but the kids still wanted to do more. It’s such a fun place that I wish we could have stayed a little longer.

本当に楽しい場所なので、もう少し滞在時間を長くしていただけないかなと思いました。

It was more fun than I expected!! My fourth-grade daughter loved the water slide where you ride on a float, and she went on it over and over again. I thought it might be crowded, but when we actually lined up, the wait time was short, and we were able to ride. I was also happy that the steak at the barbecue lunch was delicious! I will definitely go again next time!!

This is my second time at Hawaiian Water Adventure. First impression: the time seems a bit short. The park closes at 4:00 PM, but the departure is at 2:30 PM, which feels a bit harsh. I didn't feel this during the off-season last time, but this time it's crowded because of summer vacation, so I felt that the attractions were busy. I wish there had been a little more consideration for that. The lunch was delicious. That steak was seasoned perfectly. Lastly, please make sure to experience the shaka!

I went based on a recommendation from someone who had been there before. I chose the Big Splash package (which includes everything), and the time flew by. I felt like even the time spent eating barbecue was a waste. I thought maybe next time I could skip lunch, but my husband and kids said it was delicious, so they want to have lunch included again next time. I mistakenly used the voucher for the free bodyboard lesson at another attraction (I realized this later), but the staff was accommodating, and that attraction was really fun. We participated in the Big Splash package as a family. It was an incredibly well-organized tour, with staff from the water park who spoke Japanese, so communication was easy. Lunch was included, and we were very satisfied with the tour. Although our stay was only about 4 hours, we felt it was enough to enjoy ourselves. Since we had our child with us, I thought that bodyboarding lessons might be difficult, but the instructor helped my son (2nd grade) ride the waves, and he had a great time.
