This time, I went for the first time with my daughter. Unfortunately, the weather was quite chilly in the morning, but it warmed up in the afternoon, and we were able to fully enjoy the water park! Looking at the map, it seemed very large, and I thought we definitely wouldn't be able to cover it all in the time we had, but in reality, it was just the right size, and we managed to experience almost all the slides. I think it was also because it was a weekday.

There are many slides for two or more people, so the whole family can enjoy it! However, since one staff member manages several slides, they pause and start every 30 minutes. 2人乗り以上のスライダーが多いので家族全員で楽しめるかと...！ただ、幾つかのスライダーを係員1人で掛け持ちしているため、30分ごとにスライダーが休止になったり始まったりします。このシステムは少し面倒だなぁと感じました。開いているスライダーに人が集中するため、混んでいる時期はかなり並ぶかと思います。行くなら平日がオススメです。ただ日本とは比べ物にならない位空いているので、時間に余裕のある方は行く価値あります！
実際に遊べる時間は4時間位でしたが、存分に楽しむことが出来ました！また機会があったら行ってみようと思います。

We arrived in about an hour by bus from the Hyatt Regency Hotel! It can get cold on the bus, so having a light jacket would be a good idea. We were fast asleep, so we arrived in no time. Since we got there right when it opened, it was quite empty, and we were able to experience all the attractions without waiting in line at all. I've heard that going on a weekday is less crowded.

The attractions open every 30 minutes in rotation, so it’s a good idea to check when the ones you want to ride will be operating. Meals like hamburgers and yakisoba are sold for about $11, and the taste was average. Drinks are expensive, so it's better to bring your own, but be careful as you can only bring one unopened bottle of water per person.

Lockers are a bit pricey at $13, so I just carried my valuables and left them on the free beach beds without any issues. Unlike pools in Japan, the slides were the main attraction, and the thrill was completely different! Some of them were even similar to roller coasters! It was not crowded since it was a weekday. The food stalls and slides had only a short line, so we were able to enjoy a lot within the time we had! The smoking area was conveniently located and easy to find, which was appreciated by smokers. The lifeguards were attentive, blowing whistles to warn running children and monitoring the lines for the slides. I felt it was stricter in that regard compared to pools in Japan, which made me feel safer.

One of the highlights of this trip was Wet 'n' Wild Hawaii! Since my 9-year-old was looking forward to it, we chose an all-you-can-eat BBQ lunch plan that allowed us to navigate efficiently.

I took everyone's advice and prepared for the cold on the bus, but it was incredibly chilly. On the way back, I asked them to raise the temperature a bit, and they did.

We participated with my child and my daughter. There are many types of slides, but considering the number of times we could slide and the cost, I feel like it might not have been worth it to slide in Hawaii. My daughter said she had fun.
We arrived right when the park opened and entered. First, we stored our belongings in a locker. There are large and small sizes, but I wasn't sure about the size, so I chose a large one, but a small one might have been fine. Alternatively, since we didn't have any valuable items, we could have just left them in the shade.
The staff member was managing two slides and moved between them every 30 minutes, so one of the slides was closed at any given time. Also, when they opened the slides every 30 minutes, there was a line, and we couldn't ride immediately. Some slides had only two or three tubes, and I thought that if there were more tubes, the turnover rate might improve. Just before we were about to leave, we were in line to ride the Shaka, but around 2:40 PM, a staff member came and said it would be closed for about 15 minutes for inspection or something. Since we wouldn't make it back in time for the 3:15 PM bus, we had to give up and leave after waiting in line for about 15 minutes. スライダーは、係員の人が二つのスライダーを掛け持ちしていて、二つのスライダーを30分毎に移動します。なので、二つのうちどちらかが閉まっています。また、30分毎にスライダーを開ける時には、列ができておりすぐに乗れない状態です。中には、チューブが2、3個しかないものもありもう少しチューブの数があれば回転率は上がるかもしれないと思いました。帰る直前にshakaに乗ろうと並んでいましたが、2時40分頃に係員がきて、検査だかなんだかで15分くらいクローズする、と言われました。3時15分の帰りのバスの集合時間に間に合わなくなるため、折角15分位並んでいましたが、諦めて帰りました。あと、コンクリートが熱くなっていますか、スライダーに乗るときビーサンだと邪魔になります。ビーチシューズを持って来れば良かったと思いました。

I was able to enjoy various water slides. The crowd was mostly families, and it started to get quite crowded around noon. At first, I could slide down the water slides right away, but as it got busier, I ended up waiting almost an hour, and time flew by quickly.

I wished I had a bit more time to stay, and I was a bit disappointed that the air conditioning on the shuttle bus was too strong, making it quite cold.

I signed up for an all-inclusive plan. The basic explanation was quite vague. As soon as we got on the bus, there was an intense cold and the explanation audio started playing. It's essential to prepare for the cold.

The schedule mentioned two bodyboarding lessons, but in reality, there was only one. I wasn't expecting much from this bodyboarding lesson, but it turned out to be incredibly fun. It seemed to be a lesson exclusive to plan participants, and the number of people was just right, allowing us to fully enjoy it. My child even said, "I'm glad we came!"

Although I didn't drink much from the unlimited drinks, it was good to have since outside food and drinks were prohibited (only one unopened bottle of water was allowed), and carrying cash was inconvenient. It was also a good decision to sign up for the all-you-can-eat BBQ lunch. It was delicious, and since the eating area was predetermined, there were no hassles with waiting in line to purchase or securing a spot to eat.

帰りの時間が決まっているので、早めに着替えることをおすすめします。
ハワイでプール?!と思うでしょうが、おすすめです。

During my last trip to Hawaii, I saw this pool from the highway and wanted to visit, so I participated this time. When I arrived, it seemed a bit run-down. I stayed at the Sheraton in Waikiki for 5 nights and 7 days. I paid an additional fee for the convenience of being transported to the hotel by a large bus. I decided to go to Wet 'n' Wild after being recommended by my sister who lives in Hawaii. After arriving in Hawaii, I signed up and participated with my son and niece. Since we drove there with a rental car, my wife and daughter went shopping at a nearby shopping mall.

We arrived at the venue about five minutes after the opening time, but the ticket booth was open, and I was able to receive my tickets immediately after showing the voucher. Since bringing food and drinks into the park is prohibited, we had to dispose of our partially consumed drinks at the entrance. The lockers are assigned automatically; you just enter your preferred PIN, and you get a locker right away. A single large locker was sufficient for the three of us.

The facilities have a great variety of slides! Despite it being the year-end holiday season, we were able to ride most of the slides without any wait. There are single and three-person tubes available. You can freely take the tubes placed near the slide exits. We enjoyed our favorite slides and screamed together, having a fantastic time. (The Tornado was closed, and only two boats were in use for the Raging River, so we waited about an hour.)

園内への飲食物は持ち込みが禁止されているため、飲みかけのドリンクは入り口で捨てていくことになりました。ロッカーも自動販売機で、好きな暗証番号を入力すればすぐにロッカーが割り当てられます。３人分の荷物も大サイズ１つで十分な大きさでした。

I chose the deluxe plan with lunch included. The transportation and attractions were good, but the all-you-can-eat lunch was less impressive than I expected. Even though it was an all-you-can-eat option, it was only available from 12 to 1 PM, and there was no announcement to remind us of the time. What if you get so caught up in the fun that you miss it?

The steak was delicious, but when I drank my cola, I found ants at the bottom! I didn't want that, so I went to throw it away and found 5 or 6 ants in the cup! I thought the color of the cola would hide them, so I tried Sprite next, and then a bee came out... The staff mentioned that they try to catch bugs that get into the drink machine, but I couldn't help but think, are they really serving drinks with bugs in them? That shocking experience left a bigger impression on me than the attractions did.

I participated in the popular Wet 'n Wild! The pickup is at 9:30 AM, so you can take your time in the morning. However, due to traffic, it takes about an hour to arrive at the site by bus. After changing, we quickly visited two pools before it was already noon, and then it was time for the barbecue lunch. I wasn't very hungry, but we headed to lunch. In the afternoon, we experienced the slides and bodyboarding, and before I knew it, it was time to change at 3:00 PM and gather for the bus at 3:30 PM. It all went by so quickly! There are popular and crowded slides, and some slides were on break, so I wish we had a bit more time.

The park itself is small and rather tired but still great fun; esp. for younger kids. When we went (September) it runs with a skeleton staff and they (frustratingly) don't run all rides, all of the time but instead swap them around and so most rides are closed for half of the time. This causes unnecessary queues and limits the number of turns you can have quite a lot. The transport to and from was poorly organised. It was late going and late coming back (we were asked to be out of the park 15 minutes before it closed and then waited 30 mins for our bus to arrive!). However it was still a fun day, but just could have been better!
