It's a theme park with various slides, but the quality of each is somewhat rough and falls short compared to those in Japanese pools. For some reason, they were operating in a sequence, and it was often the case that the attractions I wanted to ride were not in operation. There was often no information about when they would reopen, which was confusing. The operating hours were from 10:30 to 15:30, and even then, I found myself with too much free time. On our honeymoon, both of us were visiting Hawaii for the first time and learned about Wet 'n' Wild. It seems the meeting place for the tour had changed, and we weren't aware of it, but the bus driver kindly came to pick us up at the original meeting spot. Then we set off.

The driver only spoke English, but I thought it was very considerate that they provided audio guides in English, Japanese, and (probably) Chinese.

And we arrived! Since we usually go to Nagashima Spa Land, it didn't feel very large, but the intensity of each attraction definitely felt like something you'd find overseas. The slides had almost a 90-degree drop, which was quite thrilling! The wave pool was 220 meters deep at its deepest point, and the waves were really strong.

It was so much fun! The drinks were mostly carbonated, which felt very American, but the food portions were just right, and everything was really delicious.

I think they will have even more fun once they get a little older. (I had three kids with me: a first grader, a third grader, and a sixth grader.)

When you think of Hawaii, the ocean certainly comes to mind, but I was drawn to the dynamic water park with American quality and made a reservation. You can add a shuttle bus option, but to save money, we chose to meet there. We considered taking TheBUS to the nearest stop and walking from there, but it turned out to be more complicated than we thought. As you can see from the first photo, a highway stretches in front of the facility, making it clear that walking is not feasible. We ended up taking a taxi from there, but considering safety and convenience, it seems better to opt for the shuttle bus or rent a car.

When we actually arrived, about 90% of the visitors were Japanese. It seems that it’s not very popular among locals or tourists from other countries. Each facility was smooth, and we were able to enjoy several attractions in just a few minutes, but three of the main attractions were unexpectedly closed without any explanation. Additionally, one of the popular attractions, a six-person boat slide, had a long ride distance but only two rides available, so we had to wait about two hours in the direct spring sunlight until it was our turn.

I somewhat regretted that it might not have been worth the over one-hour trip from Waikiki, but now I think it was a good experience. Hawaii is indeed about the ocean!! If you have the time, I recommend checking it out. There were plenty of family attractions, so it's great for a family visit!

実際に到着すると来園者の9割は日本人でした。現地の人や他国の観光客にはあまり人気がないようです。施設一つ一つはスムーズで数分でいくつものアトラクションを楽しむことが出来ましたが、メインアトラクション3つが特に説明もなく運休。おまけに人気アトラクションの一つである6人乗りボートスライドはライドの距離が長いのに対し、乗り物が2つしかなかったため自分たちの番まで約2時間春の直射日光の中待たされました。
ワイキキからわざわざ1時間以上もかけて行く程でもなかったのかなと少し後悔もしつつ、いい経験だったなと今では思っています。ハワイはやはり海！！時間に余裕があるのなら足を運んでみては如何でしょうか？ファミリーアトラクションは豊富だったので家族で行くのはオススメです！

The children were absolutely delighted. I don't think there are any facilities like this in Japan that have only slides. The Shaka was a thrilling attraction that drops almost vertically. There were also other interesting slides that I think adults can enjoy as well.

However, the Tornado, which I was looking forward to, was out of order. Instead, we were able to use the Da Flowrider (bodyboarding and surfing), which usually incurs an additional fee, for free. Because of that, the Ohana Highway had a long line, and we waited for about 30 minutes without any sign of moving. Since it seemed unlikely we would make it in time for our meeting at 15:10, we ultimately gave up. This attraction has a slow progression, so caution is needed. There were also attractions that were not operating and some that had limited hours of only a few hours. For lunch, I imagined a BBQ where we would grill our own food, but it turned out to be a buffet with beef, salad, rice, and pineapple.

We were overwhelmed by the numerous slides we had never seen before (´-`)

This time, we were picked up from the nearest hotel, but the distance to the pool was quite long, which left an impression on us. It took about 40 minutes.

We stayed from 11 AM to 3 PM, which was a short time, and the slides in the pool had time restrictions, so we were worried about whether we could ride all of them within that time. However, there were not many people in the pool, and we were satisfied that we could ride all the slides.

Especially, the slide called the FlowRider allowed us to experience a surfing-like sensation, which was a distinctly different kind of fun compared to the other slides.

私たちは11-15時と滞在時間が短く且つプール内のスライダーが時間によって制限されており、時間内に全て乗れるか不安でしたがプール自体の人も少なく全部のスライダーに乗れて満足しました。

特にフローライダーと呼ばれるスライダーはサーフィンのような感覚で波に乗れることができその他のスライダーと比べ一際違った楽しみ方ができました。

またハワイのプールと言えば外人が多いというイメージが強く若干白人のビキニ姿等も楽しみにしていたのですが意外と日本人も多く結局僕は彼女のビキニ姿ばかり追いかけていました（笑）
そういう意味ではカップルで行く方には是非オススメです（笑）

なんだかんだ言ってプール内の施設も充実してて楽
しかったウェットアンドワイルドです！！

I went to Wet 'n' Wild Hawaii. I visited in early March, and the weather was nice and not cold, so a bikini was enough to walk around outside. I was wondering if there would be many people participating in the tour, but there were actually quite a few (mostly young people).

Upon arrival, there was a simple baggage check before entering. The line for entry was a bit chaotic, and I wasn't sure where to stand, but we were able to get in without much confusion.

Once inside, the first thing to do is to store your belongings in a locker. To elaborate on the lockers, you pay for the locker fee in advance at the machine shown in the first image. The large locker costs $18, and the small one costs $13 (as seen in the second image). We used a small locker for the two of us. We managed to enter with just the essentials. You can pay with cash or credit card, and you will receive change. After payment, a paper with your locker number is issued, and you can use that locker. The only day it rained during my week-long stay was the day I went to Wet 'n' Wild Hawaii, but since I was going to get wet in the pool anyway, it was actually nice that it was less crowded because of the rain.
