I participated in a tour starting in the afternoon.

The bus driver was a cheerful local woman who was studying Japanese. For almost an hour on the way to the location, she worked hard to provide an easy-to-understand guide.

On the boat from the port to the sandbar, there was a Japanese guide who explained the details in Japanese, which was very helpful.

One thing you should definitely bring is underwater goggles. Before going turtle watching, there’s time to play at the sandbar, but snorkeling gear isn’t provided there yet, so having underwater goggles to play around with, especially when the tide is low, greatly enhances the fun!

When we participated, the water was about chest-high, so the underwater goggles were useful, and others mentioned they wished they had brought theirs too.

While the water might be clearer at low tide, the water clarity is high regardless of the tide level, so it’s not a problem at all. In fact, the clarity is even more noticeable, and I enjoyed swimming around even with the high tide!

During the turtle watching, we were able to see them resting among the coral reefs and also got to see them gracefully coming up to the surface up close, which was great.

However, turtle watching takes place in deep water, so while you wear a life jacket and float, you end up swimming for quite a while, which can be tiring.

After the turtle watching, we were treated to a much-anticipated barbecue lunch. While the tour participants were playing in the sea, the captain and crew were grilling meat on the boat, and when we returned from the water, a delicious aroma filled the air.

We enjoyed a barbecue buffet while sipping warm tea and coffee to warm up our chilled bodies.

I’ll be clear about this.

This barbecue was the most delicious part of my trip to Hawaii!

The bone-in short ribs and chicken were incredibly tasty! The rice was perfectly cooked, and it paired wonderfully with the chili beans!

The view from the boat was amazing, and after swimming and getting tired, I ate heartily. The pineapple for dessert was also delicious.

I made the best memories!

昼からのツアーに参加しました。

バスの運転手は現地の陽気な女性の方で日本語は勉強中との事でした。
でも現地までの1時間弱、ずっと一生懸命解りやすくガイドしてくれました。


港からサンドバーまでのボートには日本人のガイドの方がいましたので、細かい注意事項など日本語できちんと説明してくれました。


是非持っていったほうがいいものは水中ゴーグルです。
ウミガメウオッチングをする前にサンドバーで遊ぶ時間があるのですが、そこではまだシュノーケルが配布されませんので、干潮時以外は潜ったりして遊ぶのに水中ゴーグルがあれば楽しさ倍増です！


私達が参加した時は胸の高さくらいまで海水があったので、水中ゴーグルが役に立ちましたし、他の方も持ってくればよかったと言ってました。


干潮時の方がキレイかも知れませんが、とにかく海水の透明度が高いので潮位が高くても全く問題ないです。
むしろ透明度がより分かるし泳いで遊べるので私は潮位が高くて楽しめました♪


ウミガメウオッチングではサンゴ礁の間で休んでる所も見れたし、そこからふわ〜と海面に上がって来るところも間近で見れてよかったです。


ただウミガメウオッチングは足の着かない所で行うので、ライフジャケットは付けてるので勝手に浮いてはいるのですが、数十分泳ぎっぱなしになるので結構疲れます。


ウミガメウオッチングが終わるとお待ちかねのバーベキューランチです。
ツアー参加者が海で遊んでる間にキャプテンとクルーが船上で肉を焼いてくれていて、私達が海から戻ってくると香ばしい香りが漂っていました☆


海で冷えた体に準備されてあるあったかいお茶やコーヒーを飲みながらバーベキュービュッフェをいただきます。


ハッキリいいます。


このバーベキュー、今回のハワイ旅行で一番の美味しかったです♪♪


骨付きカルビとチキンがまあうまいこと！
ちゃんとご飯が炊いてあるし、このご飯とチリビーンが合うぅ〜♪


海上からの眺めは最高だし泳いで疲れて腹が減ってるのもあってモリモリ食べました。
食後のパイナップルも美味しかったです。

Also, the air conditioning on the shuttle bus was too strong. I had read in reviews that there would be towels on the seats of the return bus, but there weren't any. I thought it might be necessary to announce that large bath towels are essential.

You can have an amazing time even with small children! The sea was beautiful, truly a paradise. On the day of the tour, we met at the location specified by Veltra, which was accurately shown on Google Maps! It's no surprise that this tour is so popular. They also provide inflatable rings and stand-up paddleboards, which made it so much fun! If you want to take lots of photos, don't forget your waterproof gear. Since we had our child with us, we didn't go snorkeling, but I hope to try snorkeling once my daughter learns how to swim.

I made a reservation from Japan and participated in the trip on the fifth day of my Hawaii vacation. I was relieved that the bus driver was also Japanese. I was worried about getting seasick since I get motion sickness on airplanes, but after taking some motion sickness medication, I didn't feel sick at all! The captain's driving was amazing! During snorkeling, I saw a lot of fish, and a sea turtle even rushed towards us. I was told not to touch it, but it came over to me, so I couldn't help it, haha. The BBQ meat during the meal was very delicious. It's a shame I couldn't eat much because I was worried about seasickness. The staff's conversations were entertaining, and they even took a two-shot photo with us, making it a very fulfilling tour.

I participated in the afternoon session. The sandbar had water up to my knees even in shallow areas. Still, I was able to take many wonderful photos! The staff members all spoke Japanese and were very proactive in taking pictures and showing great consideration. Also, the lunch was delicious! It was so good that I went back for seconds! Snorkeling was a lot of fun, with sea turtles coming very close and plenty of fish to see!! This was my third time. Each time, I rate it as the most enjoyable activity for my family. The hospitality of the guides is excellent. The hamburgers on the boat are delicious too. Don't forget the $5 for beer. We always see sea turtles, but this time we were able to see a manta ray. Everyone was thrilled. I will work hard again to return to the sandbar soon.

I used the service on November 14, 2019. When the bus arrived in front of the hotel, the driver called out my name, so I was able to board without any confusion. There was no place to change into swimsuits, so I wore mine both to and from the location. After arriving, we headed to the sandbar by boat. There were sales of motion sickness medication and sunscreen on the boat, but I think it's better for those who are prone to seasickness to bring their own. Once we arrived at the sandbar, we had some time to take commemorative photos individually, and then we split into groups for snorkeling and non-snorkeling activities. Snorkeling was only for those who could swim, as it required swimming 20 minutes in deep water. For those not snorkeling, one kayak and four stand-up paddleboards were available, and we could play while being taught how to use them. I didn't go snorkeling, but I was able to see a sea turtle while playing. The turtle came quite close, but touching or chasing it is prohibited. Lunch was a buffet with bone-in short ribs, fruits, and unlimited drinks. There were staff members who could speak Japanese, which was reassuring. Captain Bruce seems to cooperate with Japanese television filming as well.

2019年11月14日に利用しました。バスはホテル前につくと運転手さんから名前を呼んでくれたので迷わず乗ることができました。水着は着替えるところがないので行きも帰りも着たままでした。現地に着いてからはボートでサンドバーへ向かいました。ボートの中で酔い止めや日焼け止めの販売はありましたが、酔いやすい方は用意して行った方がいいと思います。サンドバーではまず着いて記念撮影を各自で撮る時間があり、その後シュノーケリングをする人としない人に分かれて行動しました。シュノーケリングは片道20分足のつかない海を泳がなくてはいけないため泳げる人のみの参加でした。シュノーケリングをやらない人はカヤック一台とサップ四台が用意してありやり方を教えてもらいながら遊ぶことができました。私はシュノーケリングにはいかなかったのですが、遊んでいる時にウミガメをみることができました。かなり近くまでカメさんが来てくれますが触ることや追いかけることは禁止されています。お昼ご飯はバイキングで骨付きカルビやフルーツ、ドリンクも飲み放題でした。日本語対応スタッフもいるので安心でした。キャプテンブルースは日本のテレビ撮影などにも協力しているようです。

This was the tour I was looking forward to the most on this trip. It takes about an hour by bus from the hotel in Waikiki to the boat dock. I was really worried about seasickness, but I was perfectly fine with motion sickness pills and a wristband. The sandbar was truly beautiful and worth the visit! I took a lot of photos during the sandbar walk. The snorkeling was done in a place where you can't touch the bottom, so it's limited to those who can swim. I saw a lot of fish, and there were also many sea turtles, which made for a valuable experience. I wasn't expecting much from the food on the boat, but the barbecue was really delicious! The guide was also a wonderful person.

この旅で1番楽しみにしていたツアーでした。
ワイキキのホテルからバスで1時間程でボート乗り場に着きます。
船酔いがとても心配でしたが、酔い止めと酔い止め防止バンドで完璧に防げました。

It was so much fun!
We are both in our sixties; my husband has good athletic ability, but he can't swim. Therefore, playing in the ocean is not a priority for us.
I, who have poor athletic ability, can swim. Somehow, we made it to the sea.
It was a great decision to try stand-up paddleboarding and canoeing in the beautiful ocean! My husband seemed to enjoy it too, and next time we want to try snorkeling as well!
The staff was friendly, which was great.
