Great time had by all! Great for 7 year olds! The fresh water shower when coming out of the ocean was a special touch. It rinsed the salt water from my hair and suit before returning to dry land! Good food too! Best meal I’ve had on one of these trips!

We very much enjoyed this trip to the sandbar, with perfect weather, crystal clear ocean, and amazing views everywhere you look. We saw sea turtles and lots of fish when snorkeling at a beautiful coral reef. We would very much like to do this again sometime, potentially bringing additional friends or family.

Our day on the water was so much fun. The kids made friends, the lunch was delicious, and they even took time to spend with our 5 yr old to help her get comfortable with her equipment out in the water. Would definitely do again.

My family had a fantastic time on the sandbar cruise. It was our first time.

Every staff member was very friendly and professional. They helped us with everything we needed. Activities on cruise & sandbar was fun and enjoyable.

My kids loved the sandbar & learning how to snorkel there. And the best part is that they serve you lunch and have beer for sale.

We had a great experience and will likely do it again when we return to Oahu.

Our best excursion!

We did a total of 3 excursions in Hawaii and this was by far the best one! The sandbar was such a unique experience, lunch was super yummy, and there was ample time for snorkeling. They even had a makeshift freshwater rinse at the end and hot drinks to keep us warm on the way back. 100% would do this excursion again. Thank you to the whole crew for an amazing time!

The Captain and the helper were very energetic and explained everything in detail. I had a fear from water depth and was scared to go to snorkeling with my kids. Jason , one of the captain’s helpers guided us and helped do the snorkeling all the way. A big thank you to him, the captain and the female helper. It was a great experience!

My daughter (age 8) and I had an amazing time at the Kaneohe sandbar. We saw baby sharks and several turtles while snorkeling! The amount of time we spent there was perfect. The crew did an excellent job. I highly recommend this experience!

Kualoa Ranch Private Beach at Secret Island - Kayak, SUP, Volleyball & More

Great way to spend the day.

We had a great time on secret island. We were running late for our scheduled time and they allowed us to reschedule. We felt it was cost effective since we had access to chairs, stand up paddle boards, and Kayaks. Overall, we would recommend.

A great day out at the sandbar

Never play at the sandbar before and this was SUPER FUN! the crew was fun yet professional. Perfect length of time to be at the sandbar. As for the snorkeling, it was good, but we got kicked non stop from the people in front of us, LOL. Not the crew's fault obviously. Just a note to self for next time, will give myself some space from the people in front of me. Just a suggestion, not sure it is feasible or not... adding slide will be better. But all in all, it was a great time and thank you for doing what you are doing!

We took the morning tour and we got a lot of time to snorkel and hung out with 3 sea turtles (with a safe distance away of course!). I appreciate how our local staff emphasized the importance of keeping safe the reef & the animals who call the ocean home. We got access to paddle boards and delicious coffee! Thanks again for a great time!

From start to end this was a great day on the water! We had a great crew that operated the sandbar excursion flawlessly. On our day we had a bit of rain, however this did not prevent anyone from having fun. The food was great as well as the bar service. Took 5 friends out with me to experience the sandbar for the first time! We had such a blast! Yuko was our captain and she was the absolute best! Some snacks and drinks were provided, you can BYOB. Floaties, snorkel gear, and a paddleboard were offered. The sandbar was beautiful! Highly recommend this to anyone!

AMAZING TRIP!! Definitely worth it!!

We took the free transportation that was offered, which was great.

Got to the boat and quickly got out in the bay. We had TONS of time at the sand bar. I recommend bringing a floatie or ball of ton want. We joined in with the volleyball they brought which was so fun! We stayed there during lunch so when we were done eating we went back out.

Saw more sea turtles than I can count! Even saw some on the sand bar.

Snorkeling we had plenty of time and all equipment was provided.

Definitely one of the best excursions we did while there. We definitely do it again!

We loved this snorkel experience from beginning to end! The staff was friendly, encouraging, knowledgeable with the ocean, fish and answered all our questions. The food was delicious and even the hot chocolate was yummy. When we go back to Oahu in the future, we will do this particular cruise again. I recommend it to everyone of all ages.

We had a great time on Captain Bob's Kaneohe Bay Sandbar Snorkel & BBQ Lunch tour! Everything about the trip was well planned and very organized! The sandbar was a great experience because you are walking in shallow water in the middle of a bay!! The snorkeling was my favorite part. The reef that we snorkeled on was crescent shaped. Being the crew did such a great job of watching us - I was able to swim around the entire sight without being in fear of danger. It was such a peaceful experience! I even had a turtle swim right under me! I he was just about a foot underneath! The lunch was perfect and delicious. It was cooked right on the boat while we were on the sandbar!
A need touch that I appreciated was that they had laundry baskets underneath the seats on the boat. We kept out belongings in them and this kept them from getting all wet and sandy!

Beautiful Sandbar but waves dependent on weather

We went out on a cloudy morning accompanied by showers. The waves were choppy too. The sandbar was beautiful despite the weather, didn’t see any turtles on the sandbar but my daughter and husband who went with the snorkeling group saw turtles by the reef. The current was stronger there though but Kevin, the tour guide made sure everyone was safe. There was not enough paddle boards nor floaties for everyone on board and some groups hugged theirs till the end. We shared our paddle board with another couple. Trevor was okay but he tended to give attention to certain groups whereas Kevin was the one whom I have noticed that was attentive to everyone.

We had a great time on the snorkel trip! The crew was very friendly and helpful and the setup (paddle birds, floaties, etc) was great. We were skeptical at first that we would see any turtles, but one came right up to the boat and swam around with us while we were swimming and then we saw several more on the snorkel trip around the reef. Highly recommend this activity!

The guidance to the sandbar and snorkeling points was accurate, and we were able to see many sea turtles up close. They taught each of us how to paddleboard very carefully, and even though it was our first experience, we had a lot of fun.
