I was really looking forward to the Heaven's Sea Tour and participated in it.

I chose the afternoon tour, but the water level was high, reaching chest level in some areas, so I couldn't take my camera into the sea, which was a bit disappointing.

It was early October, and it was a bit cloudy, so the water temperature was low. I wanted to go snorkeling, but unfortunately, I couldn't...

My husband & I were coming to Oahu, Hawaii for the first time. He is a certified scuba diver, but hadn't done any snorkel or scuba for years. We wanted to do a snorkel trip, since he enjoys it. I had never snorkeled, & from the reviews I read, I thought this trip would be enjoyable for both of us.
We had a lot of fun - on the boat, in the water, talking with the crew & fellow "snorkelers." It is a great trip for beginners - you get good instruction & practice before you are taken to a coral reef.
Bonus: we got to see several Green Turtles on our way to the reef. We would do this trip again!

This is my second time! Two years ago, when I visited for my daughter's wedding in Hawaii, we chose a beach close to heaven as a family and relatives' memory. The beautiful cobalt blue sea, sea turtles, and coral reefs from that time are etched in my mind as precious memories. The DVD that captures those memories never gets boring, no matter how many times I watch it.

This time, it was a trip just for my wife and me. We quickly made a net reservation for the heavenly... and participated in the afternoon session on October 12. I also joined the snorkeling, which I couldn't do last time due to an injury on my eyelid, and enjoyed the coral reefs and beautiful schools of fish, as well as a delicious BBQ. The staff's response was also very pleasant!

I travel to Hawaii every year, and I would like to walk on the sandbar again next year.

Honestly, I can't swim and I'm not good with the ocean (water). I thought, "I don't want to go," even before participating. However, as I got on the boat and moved forward, I was greeted with views I had never seen before. I didn't even have the time to raise my camera...

When we arrived at the sandbar, we went into the water. The water was deep enough to reach around the waist of a man in some places, and shallow enough to reach the knees in others. The water was clear enough to see the bottom. I've never seen anything like this! Even though I was scared, I wanted to get in the water! Even though I can't swim, the guides (a Japanese woman and a local woman) were watching over us closely.

We snorkeled right there, and in the deeper areas, we could see corals and fish. Since I can't swim, I snorkeled just before it got too deep.

If you're going to Oahu, Waikiki is a nice place, but I definitely recommend going to the sandbar at least once.

泳げない私は深くなる手前でシュノーケルしました。

オワフ島へ行くのなら、ワイキキもいい所ですが、
一度はサンドバーに行く事をお勧めします。

I went on a summer limited Sunrise Tour! Exploring the beautiful sandbar and experiencing the sunrise in Hawaii is a rare opportunity, and since the plan has you returning in the morning (even though it's before dawn), I think it's a great way to make the most of your day! In our case, we had a schedule to leave Hawaii that afternoon, so we decided on it right away★ After returning to the hotel, we were quite rushed though.. lol

On the day of the tour, it seems there were very few waves, one of the calmest days of the year, so I didn't have to worry about seasickness, but it was quite cold~《>_<》A large bath towel provided by the hotel is a must. The snorkeling, which I was looking forward to, was unfortunately a bit disappointing due to low underwater visibility. There were some fish, but not many. By the way, it's fine for those who can't swim since life jackets are provided. However, as expected, if you want to go deeper on your own, you can't dive. lol

After that, we all searched for sea turtles from the boat, and they popped their heads up quite a bit and swam very close, which was really fun.

当日は波が１年でも１，２を争うくらい無い日だったらしく、船酔いの心配は無かったのですが、いかんせん寒かった~《>_<》ホテルで貸し出してくれる大きなバスタオル必須です。
期待のシュノーケルは、意外と水中の透明度が低くて残念でした。魚もいるにはいるんですが多くないかな。　ちなみにライフジャケット着用のため、泳げない人でも大丈夫です。一方当然ですが深いところへ自主的に行こうと思っても潜れませんでしたｗ
その後、船上よりみんなで海亀を探しますが、ぽこぽこ海面へ顔を出してくれるし、すごく近くを泳いだりするのでとても面白かったです。

クアロア牧場の山々も望め、景色はすばらしかったのですが、時期的に寒かったのとシュノーケリングが少し残念な感じでした。
スタッフはとても親切で写真も撮ってもらえるし、温かい朝食はおいしく頂けました☆

It was truly a place overflowing with nature and nothing else. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and a bit chilly on the day we visited, and the tide wasn't low, but we were able to see turtles swimming along the way, and the staff were kind. Thank you, Hana.

My friend who was going with me wanted to choose between "Heavenly Sea" or an "Experience Swimming with Dolphins," and after looking into it, I felt a strong desire to see the "Heavenly Sea," so I decided to join this tour.

I have been to a Luau, Sunset Dinner Cruise, Dinner Show.. quite possibly all over O'ahu! This is by far, the best activity I have ever done. The crew was very friendly and informative..Most of them are interns so they actually do their job for free!

Once we board the Barefoot 1 which is actually a pretty small catamaran but don't let this discourage you because once your on your way to the submerged sandbar..everything is perfect! Imaginine drinking a nice cold refreshment and for you alcoholic drinkers, a nice beer, out in the middle of Kaneohe Bay. Sitting on the Sandbar with the nice breezy tradewinds while taking in all the beautiful views!! TALK ABOUT RELAXATION!!

Once we had our freshly grilled burger lunch at the sandbar, we head pass toward Turtle reef, where we saw at least 10 huge sea turtles! We participated as a family. Since our children are small, we planned to skip snorkeling from the beginning, but we were very satisfied.

Encountering sea turtles was a bit mysterious. As I quietly watched the surface of the sea, I saw turtles lifting their heads here and there. They were incredibly cute.

However, it was a little disappointing that, as I had known from the start, it was during a time when the tide was not completely out, so I couldn't see the sandbar like in the photos. Also, when I went snorkeling to the outer side of the reef, it seemed like there were fewer fish than I expected.

But the staff were very enjoyable and lively, which made for a satisfying experience.

The dreamlike sandbar was amazing. Three years ago, I participated in a tour filled with activities in Kaneohe Bay. I heard there was a sandbar very close by, but I couldn't imagine it at all. When I actually went there, I realized it was very close to the previous location. I understood that the sandbar is right in the middle of the ocean.

The highlight of such tours is the personality of the staff. Everyone was so natural, blending into the Hawaiian atmosphere, which made it really enjoyable and allowed me to participate in a relaxed manner.

The staff were friendly, and there were Japanese speakers, so I felt completely at ease without any language barriers.

It required careful consideration on how to spend the limited days in Hawaii, whether to enjoy the beautiful scenery or prioritize the kids' fun. I felt I could have planned a bit better. We participated as a family of four, and the sandbar was beautifully exposed, making it absolutely stunning. There weren't many fish while snorkeling, but we were able to spot about ten sea turtles from the boat, which made the kids very happy. On the way back, it was a bit cold due to the strong wind, but I definitely want to go back to that beautiful paradise of a sea again.

I attended this snorkeling activity with my boyfriend (he had done it before and wanted to go again). Our tour guide on the bus was hysterical. So much fun and information was provided by him. I liked that he remained part of the experience by coming on the boat with us. The staffing was incredible as well. Tons of fun and very helpful. I was glad that they provided lunch as well. Quick and easy burgers, some fruit, sodas, etc. And of course, the snorkeling was beautiful! I would recommend it to anyone, of any age. If you can't swim, or haven't snorkeled, don't worry! They provide easy instructions to learn how to snorkel quickly, and they have both noodles and lifevests if you can't swim! You may even luck out and sight some sea turtles on your way to the reef!!! If you're considering this activity, go for it! You'll love it!

We were blessed with the best weather, and it was said that the sandbar was quite shallow that day, which was lucky. We participated via Alan, and Captain Bruce took us to the best spot in the heavenly sea where we could swim with sea turtles. When we went, the white sandy beach didn't appear (＞＜) It was about knee-deep... But standing in the middle of the sea felt quite strange.

I participated on the morning of July 14th. A stunning sandbar appeared in the midst of a deep blue sky, pure white clouds, and the ever-changing blue ocean! It was a beautiful scene unlike anything I had ever seen before, making me question whether it was a dream or reality. It was a miraculous landscape created over many years. I was thrilled to see the honu (sea turtles) up close and had an amazing time. The malasadas were also very delicious.

I initially booked this event for my ten- and seven-year-old grandkids. However, it turned out to be a terrific day for all three generations. The friendly crew of the Barefoot I made us feel welcome from the time we arrived at the dock. It was a very windy day, but, the catamaran was steady. The energetic, enthusiastic and entertaining crew covered the basics of snorkeling and equipment during our ten-minute cruise to the submerged sandbar in the middle of beautiful Kaneohe Bay. The sandbar stop was the perfect opportunity for first time snorkelers to practice in a comfortable environment and the waist-deep volleyball was a real hoot! The crew grilled our burgers and served lunch at the sandbar. Much to our surprise and delight our cruise director, Jenner, serenaded us with voice and guitar while we ate.
