I participated with my mother and son. Unfortunately, my son was in a bad mood and we couldn't go into the sea, but the scenery was beautiful, and the food we had on the boat (sandwiches and salads) was delicious, so we were very satisfied! There were sea turtles that often come to play swimming around the boat, and they were so cute. The staff also noticed that we were staying on the boat and talked to us. I was worried about the weather, but we were blessed with good weather, and the sandbar had very nice conditions with water up to my ankles. The staff's response was wonderful, and I was able to have a great time. Since it can be quite cold on the water during this season, I recommend bringing long sleeves in addition to a towel. This time in Hawaii, we weren't blessed with good weather, as there was a storm with rain and wind right up until the day before the tour. On the day of the tour, when we left Honolulu, the weather was still bad, and I was worried. However, when we arrived at the location, it was cloudy but slightly sunny. Yay! The sandbar was a place I had wanted to visit for a long time, and I was really glad I finally got to go. It was a wonderful place.

The ocean is beautiful, anyway. Unlike Waikiki Beach, you definitely should visit the white sandbar. However, it was windy and quite cold that day, so I refrained from snorkeling. But a sea turtle came really close, approaching the people who were snorkeling, as if it were swimming alongside them. For the first snorkel outting of our trip, this was a great way to get the ball rolling. Other than the long drive to get to the boat launch everything was smooth sailing. The crew was great and fun to travel with and were very knowledgable on the sites we visited. The trip to the sand bar was a treat. Only regret is we would love to have stayed at the reef longer.

１月３１日、集合場所でバスに乗った時からスタッフのお気遣いが感じられ、乗車中でもハワイの草花の話、町並みの話など、あっという間に現地に着きました。

ウミガメの遭遇率はほぼ１００％と言ってもいいのではないでしょうか。

それと、私が「さすが、責任あるツアー会社だな」と思ったことは、すべてにおいて”安全性を最優先している”という点。

これは参加者にとって極めて重要な点ですね。

初心者の私たちにも常に目配りを怠らず、特にシュノーケルの際には、案内のスタッフ以外にボートが一艘用意してあり、楽しんでいる参加者のそばで１名のスタッフがしっかり皆んなの安全を見守っていてくれたのです。

しかも、それをことさらアピールすることなく、さり気ない安全対策、私たち熟年？夫婦はしっかりと見ていましたよ！

I wanted to visit the beautiful sandbar I saw on TV, so I decided to join this tour. The weather on the day was cloudy with occasional light rain. They picked us up at the hotel. I've visited Hawaii several times, but this was my first time participating in this activity. I was really looking forward to it, but unfortunately, we were hit by heavy rain and strong winds on the day, so we couldn't enjoy snorkeling. I was looking forward to the sandbar floating in the sea, but it felt different from the photos on the website; the water didn't recede, and it felt like we were in shallow water. (Since it's a natural sea, there are some unavoidable differences due to tidal changes...) The snorkeling was also short, lasting only about 10 minutes, so I didn't feel satisfied. However, it was great to see wild sea turtles up close.
