On the day of the trip, it was cloudy, so we didn't have the clear skies we hoped for at the sandbar, but considering the weather forecast predicted a "storm," we could say we were lucky.

We landed on the sandbar just after 11 AM (about an hour after low tide), and the water level was about knee-deep. After enjoying taking photos and playing water volleyball for about an hour, the water level rose to around mid-thigh when we returned to the boat. It's essential to check the tide levels in advance, as you can't land when it's close to high tide.

The BBQ hamburger for lunch was grilled on the boat, creating a great atmosphere and it tasted good.

During the post-lunch sea turtle watch, we spotted a few from the boat, but it was truly moving to see a large sea turtle swimming right below us during snorkeling. However, it was a bit cold.

The Japanese tour guide, Yukiko (I believe), was cheerful and very good at talking, and she was very kind, taking various photos of our family.

I highly recommend this tour.

日本人添乗員のユキコさん（だったと思います）は明るくとても話し上手で、我々家族の写真も色々と撮ってくれるなど、とても親切でした。

We boarded a boat from the port and arrived at the sandbar after about 30 minutes! This was my second time participating. Last time I was pregnant, but this time I brought the child who was in my belly back then. I was a bit anxious about bringing my one-and-a-half-year-old, but they kindly lent us baby wetsuits and blankets on the boat for warmth, and everyone was very friendly, allowing us to enjoy as a family.

I walked to the sandbar holding my child. It was a manageable distance to carry them. Bringing a swim ring was a good idea; when I got tired of holding them, I let them float in it (laughs). We were able to see sea turtles up close, and my child was delighted. I was so happy when our family of three arrived at the sandbar.

Once we got out of the water, it was cold, so having a bath towel and a diaper change was essential. However, the bus back after getting off the boat was warm, making it comfortable enough for a deep sleep... it was so much fun!

I saw a lot of sea turtles. The staff was amazing!! It was the best memory. I've been to Hawaii more than ten times, and I can't believe I didn't participate in this tour until now. I highly recommend the sandbar adventure if you're in Oahu. We were picked up close to our hotel. The bus trip was very comfortable and the tour guide was informative and entertaining. The sandbar was amazing! We were able to walk around and they also set up a net for those who are interested in playing volleyball. We had hamburgers for lunch with chips and bbq beans. The snorkeling was also enjoyable. We were able to see and swim with the sea turtles and tropical fish along the protected coral reef. The staff was so laid back and organized. I highly suggest bringing swim shoes, towel and extra change of clothing. There is a bathroom in the pier. We love it so much we are planning to do it again.

My first sandbar experience.
I researched the low tide periods in Japan and went during that time.
I think the conditions were really good.

We participated with our family of four, including elementary school students. We were worried about seasickness, but it was quieter than we expected, and we were totally fine. We saw a lot of sea turtles, and at the snorkeling point, there were many beautiful fish! The water at Angel's Beach came up to our knees, but it seemed like the kids were able to practice snorkeling, which was great. For lunch, the kids happily made their own hamburgers. However, it was cold when we got out of the water. But we warmed up with the hot cocoa that was provided. I recommend bringing a thick hoodie and a bath towel.

The weather was unfortunate.
For women, wearing a bright bikini really stands out in photos. You can take beautiful pictures.
However, during snorkeling, it felt stricter than other tours, as we had to line up and those who struggled with swimming or using the mask were scolded. The visibility wasn't very good either. It's better than in Japan, though...

I joined expecting the first image to match reality, but it was somewhat different when I actually went (I think January played a role in this). I had assumed there would be a sandy beach, but there wasn't. We first took a walk to the shallow area after getting off the boat. At that point, the water level was up to my backside. Although the weather was good due to it being the rainy season in January, it was still quite cold. I went in wearing a swimsuit, but I couldn't really immerse myself in the water. After the walk, we returned to the boat, but it was so cold that I had to wrap myself in a bath towel. After that, we had lunch, which was quite tasty. Then we went snorkeling. However, there was an announcement that those who couldn't swim should not participate, and since I couldn't swim, I stayed behind. But there were plenty of items to play with, like inflatable rings, bodyboards, and stand-up paddleboards, so I borrowed those and played in the shallow area. I think even those who aren't good at swimming can have a fulfilling experience. However, it was still cold. Everyone returning from snorkeling was shivering from the cold. I recommend participating during a warmer time of year. The guide was Japanese and easy to understand.

１枚目のイメージ写真を期待して参加したのですが実際行ってみて若干違うな。。と思いました（１月ってのも関係あると思います）てっきり砂浜があると思っていましたがなく、まず船から降りて浅い方まで散歩。降りた時点ではお尻あたりまで水位はありました。１月雨季とあって天気は良かったのですが、普通に寒いです。水着で入りましたがとても体をつけることはできませんでした。散歩終わって船に戻りますがバスタオルをかぶってないといけないほど寒かったです。そのあとははランチ。普通に美味しかったです。そのあとはシュノーケリングへ。ただし泳げない人は参加しない方が良いとのアナウンスがあり私は泳げなかったのでお留守番。ですが浮き輪やボディーボードやサップなど遊べるアイテムが充実しており、それを借りて浅いところで遊んでいました。なので泳ぎが得意ではない人でも充実していると思います。ただやはり寒いです。笑　シュノーケリングから帰ってくるひとたちはみんな寒くて震えていました。
参加するならもっと気温の高い時期をお勧めします。
ガイドも日本人でわかりやすかったです。

We participated as a couple in our 40s. We arrived at the port in no time while laughing at the guide's broken Japanese jokes on the bus ride there. When it was time to split into two boats, they asked for preferences between a Japanese-only boat and an international boat. Since it was a special occasion, we chose the international boat. That said, the woman who guided us was Japanese, so we felt reassured. The BBQ lunch was truly delicious, just as the reviews said!
