highly reccomend this dinner cruise to anyone who wants to have a great romantic night with the one you love. the staff is amazing and the food was just so delicious. i have been on many dinner cruises and the 5star was by far the best one i have ever been on. you can tell that the staff and the chefs take a lot of time and care to make sure that you have a great evening. worth every penny!

This is my second time on the Star of Honolulu.
Last time, the dinner cruise was amazing.
This time, I participated in the seasonal whale watching.
The lunch was delicious! Making leis and experiencing ukulele and hula was so much fun! The crew members were also wonderful people, as expected!
Star of Honolulu is the best!!
And luckily, we were able to see whales.
We witnessed a lively baby whale breaching multiple times, followed by the mother whale occasionally spouting water and showing her large back as she followed along. It was breathtaking!
I highly recommend this tour to everyone.
Finally, Star of Honolulu is the best!!!!

I arrived in Honolulu and joined the tour right away, so I was a bit concerned about my physical condition, but I was able to enjoy the experience without any seasickness.

I thought we would go quite far offshore, but to my surprise, we were able to see whales even in areas where we could still see the town! Honestly, considering the nature of the activity, I wondered if we wouldn't see as many as I expected, or if I might miss the chance to see them altogether. However, it pleasantly exceeded my expectations. We were able to see the whales spouting multiple times, and although I missed capturing the jump on camera, I was thrilled to see it up close.

I participated in a plan without meals, but if your main goal is to witness the whales, I would definitely recommend the option that includes lunch. Many encounters happened while people were eating, so having a meal included would be advantageous. It might be a good idea to either have an early meal before boarding or bring snacks like bread or sweets to nibble on once you've had your fill of whale watching. Water, coffee, and tea are available for free.

Even for those without meals, you can participate for free in activities like ukulele playing, hula dancing, and lei-making, which I think would provide a fun break and enjoyable moments.

今回は食事なしのプランで参加しましたが
とにかく鯨の姿を目撃することを目的として乗船するのでしたら
昼食付きの方が食事しているタイミングで
遭遇する事の方が多かったですので断然こちらの方がお薦めです
先に早めの食事を済まされてから乗るか
あるいはパンやお菓子などを持参されて
鯨を見飽きたらちょっとつまむ　というのがいいのではないでしょうか
お水とコーヒー、紅茶は無料で飲むことが出来ます

食事なしの人でも
ウクレレ、フラ、レイづくりの体験教室に無料で参加出来るので
気分転換も出来て楽しいひとときが過ごせることと思います

We used the Three Star Couple Plan for our family. Since we had a window seat on the sunset side, we were able to enjoy the sunset from our seats. It was cloudy before boarding, but the clouds cleared up during the sunset, and the view was very beautiful. I have also experienced a dinner cruise with Navatek, but this one had better food and staff service. The meat, in particular, was tender and delicious.

For those who choose not to have transportation included, the trolley's Red Line takes a significant detour towards Aloha Tower. Even if you take the first bus from DFS around 9:20, you may not arrive until about 11:10. If there’s a bit of traffic, there’s a possibility you might not make it! If you're interested, why not take this opportunity to try THE Bus? If you take bus number 19 or 20 from Kuhio Avenue, passing by Hilton towards the airport, it will take about 20 minutes. I had participated in this ship's sunset cruise before, but this time the atmosphere was different and I enjoyed it again. It was a refreshing cruise with the wind in my face, and whenever a whale was spotted at the bow or stern of the ship, everyone would dash over with shouts of excitement.

When I got tired, lying down on the chairs and beach loungers on the deck felt really nice. We had a meal included in our package, but since the deck was so pleasant, we hardly ate and just relaxed there. I was worried about seasickness, but thanks to taking motion sickness medication, I had no issues at all.

As for the whales, I was able to see them spouting water a few times, and at one point, I saw one arching its back as it dove down. However, it was very difficult to take pictures.

　肝心の鯨は潮吹きを数回見れたのと一番近かった時は背中を丸めて潜っていく姿も見れました。しかし写真を撮るのは非常に難しかったです。

Had a great show and good food.

I had two people which have trouble walking. The trek from the bus drop off, through the mall, to the ship was a bit too long. Also, I had a guest who is very particular about how his meat is cooked and they did not even ask how you want your steak done. Could improve on those two points for the benefit of us old folks!

I signed up for the Memorial Photo Cinderella Package Plan along with a set deal.

At first, I wasn't planning to sign up, but since my desired plan for the Memorial Photo Cinderella Package didn't work out, I opted for this great set plan.

I had read experiences from others, so I didn't have high expectations, but it turned out to be quite fun (maybe it was good that I didn't expect much). He was very satisfied (*^_^*).

The floor I was on had only Japanese people, but I was able to make friends with the couple next to me, and the staff were entertaining (the staff were foreigners but spoke Japanese fluently).

This was my first time in Hawaii, and since it was our honeymoon, we decided to indulge a bit and booked the three-star couple's plan. Before the ship set sail, they had a hula dance performance in front of the ship, creating a wonderful atmosphere right from the start. Once we were seated, we were welcomed with a photo opportunity and champagne, which really elevated the mood. Since it was November, the sun set shortly after we departed, and the sunset was incredibly beautiful and romantic.

The meal started with appetizers (unlimited crackers, cheese, and fruits), followed by a whole lobster as the main dish! (Men can earn points by cracking the lobster shell for their partner.) There was also steak and dessert, and the portion sizes were just right—not too much. Each person received tickets for two drinks, so with the initial champagne, there was more than enough to drink.

In addition to the meal, there were singing and dancing performances, making for a very enjoyable time. During the hula dance performance, a local woman jumped in to show off her hula skills, which was quite entertaining. She was wearing a flashy aloha shirt, so I think she was ready to dance from the start. The couple's plan secures a window-side table just for the two of you (the regular plan has shared round tables for five or six people), so I highly recommend the couple's plan for couples!

今回は初めてのハワイ、そして新婚旅行ということでちょっと贅沢してスリースターのカップルプランを申し込みました。船が出航する前に船の前でフラダンスを踊っていて、出航前からとてもいいムードでした。そして席に座ると写真撮影とシャンパンでお出迎えしてくれて一気にムードが上がってきました。１１月という事で、出航後すぐに日が落ちてとても夕日がきれいでロマンチックでした。食事も前菜（クラッカー、チーズ、フルーツ食べ放題）から始まり、メインのロブスター丸ごと一匹です！（男性は女性の為にロブスターの殻を割ってあげるとポイントアップです）そしてステーキとデザートにケーキも付き、食べ過ぎずちょうどいいボリュームです。ドリンクも一人２杯分のチケットをもらえるので
最初のシャンパンもあるので十分すぎるほど飲めます。食事だけでなく歌や踊りのパフォーマンスもありとても楽しい時間を過ごせました。フラダンスの曲の演奏中に一般のおばちゃんが乱入してフラダンスを披露していたのがとてもウケましたおばちゃんは派手なアロハシャツを着ていたので最初から踊る気満々だったのだと思いました。カップルプランは窓際の席で二人だけの席を確保してくれるので（通常プランは丸テーブルに５，６人の相席でした）カップルは絶対にカップルプランがおすすめです！

I read many experiences here and found them very helpful!

First of all, it was great that we chose the plan without transportation and arrived early, allowing our group of six to sit by the window. We were able to toast before the larger groups arrived and go get cheese and fruits.

I was torn between giving it one star or three, but after experiencing it, I’m glad I chose three stars! The food was delicious, and the lobster was impressive, which everyone enjoyed.

The sunset viewed from the boat was truly beautiful, and the night view of Waikiki from the boat was just as lovely!!! The live music added to the atmosphere.

On the way back, we were able to call a six-person taxi from the taxi stand, and it cost about $15 to return to the Pacific Beach Hotel in one vehicle.

I am very satisfied!!!

We participated as a family of seven, including my spouse, our three children, and my parents. It was my parents' first time in Hawaii, and they were moved to tears by this activity, especially since it was our last day. I think this is the perfect activity for creating wonderful memories! We joined through the couple plan, which allowed us to enjoy a leisurely meal together as a family, making it a truly special time. However, I felt sorry for those who participated in the regular plan, as they had to sit at a large communal table. If you decide to join, I highly recommend the couple plan.

I made a reservation for the last night of my stay, and it created wonderful memories to conclude my trip. Since this was a honeymoon, I booked the couple's plan with options. We had a great table for two with a view, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food, shows, live performances, as well as the sunset and the night view of Honolulu.

Because it was a couple's plan, we received a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and a gift of a commemorative photo, which made my wife very happy! If you're on a honeymoon, definitely choose the "couple's plan"!

I participated in a dinner cruise for the first time. I had an elegant image in mind, but it felt quite rushed. It was busy with watching the sunset, having dinner, and enjoying the show. It was nice that two drink vouchers were included. The show was fun because we could watch it up close. I felt like the time was a bit short, so I would have appreciated being able to take a little more time to enjoy the scenery and eat. It ended in the blink of an eye. Watching the sunset over the ocean was really wonderful.

My fiancée took me to the 5-Star on our last evening in Hawaii and it was the perfect end to a wonderful vacation. From the moment the limo picked us up from the hotel to the time we were dropped off, the customer service was INCREDIBLE. I am so glad that he decided to book the 5-Star since the other decks looked pretty crowded and definitely not as intimate as the Super Nova Deck.

We got the Couple's Plan upgrade and we got window seating, a bottle of champagne and this great photo of us on this pretty leather cover. The maître d' and the waiters provided incredible service and the whole atmosphere was very upscale and refined.

The dinner was very scrumptious and I loved how there were many different dishes served throughout the evening. Also, I had been on other dinner cruises where they bombard you with annoyingly LOUD touristy Hawaiian music, but with the 5-Star, it was soothing jazz and I LOVED IT!

This is the PERFECT romantic dinner cruise!!!

The night view of Honolulu is really beautiful.
It's a shame I couldn't see the sunset because it was cloudy.
You get two drink vouchers, so the first two drinks are free.

There is a show, and at the end, everyone dances to YMCA.
It was fun!

ホノルルの夜景がホント綺麗に見えます。
サンセットは曇っていたため見れなかったが残念。
