I attended with a friend. There were indeed many couples, but groups can enjoy it as well. Dinner with a view of the Waikiki nightscape is fantastic. The space between the seats was a bit narrow and cramped, but the food was delicious. The sky turned a particularly beautiful pink from dusk until sunset, creating a magical atmosphere. It's a color of the sky that you can't see in Japan.

集合場所近くで車イスの私たちを見つけるなり、運転手の方がバスまで車イスの母を運び、最優先でバスに乗せてくれました。
送迎バスに乗ってから船の席に座るまで全て、クルーズのメンバが車イスを押してくれました。

◆クルーズ当日【帰り】
船の座席からバスに乗ってホテルで降りるまで、クルーズのメンバが車イスを押してくれました。エレベータも最優先です。
バスに乗る時も“予定していたバスはステップが急でママには危険だから、こっちのバスに乗って”という気遣いもしてくれました。
バスから降りた後も、降りてくるまでの間に車イスを広げて準備していてくれました。

☆本当に、本当に丁寧な対応でした。

○クルーズの内容
美味しい料理（大きなロブスターとステーキなど）と明るくショーで、楽しく過ごすことができました。まだ杖がないと歩行が不安な母でしたが、“今度来る時は、みんなと一緒に踊れるようにリハビリがんばる♪”と、元気になっていました。

Sunset Dinner Cruise, Cocktails, Dancing.. what a fun night! Let me tell you, seeing a sunset in Hawaii is wonderful but seeing it from the ocean, its like a paint brush painted the skies for the evening. Perfect for that special romantic moment with your loved one!

Unfortunately, I did not see the mystical green flash, but we did see several dolphins and the sunset over the water, magical!

Staff was very attentive and came by my dinner table through out the evening to make sure I was taken care of. Everyone on-board participated in the dancing. Thank you so much for a wonderful Sunset Dinner Cruise!

My wife and I took this cruise and had a great time!

Being new to the area, we asked for some suggestions and several people mentioned the Star of Honolulu to us. So we gave it a shot, and we are so glad we did.

It was easy to get to the pickup point right from our hotel, we actually walked! And then the dinner was great. I am a big eater, and a self-professed food snob, but that lobster and five-course meal was truly amazing. Fireworks capped off the night with a bang, and it was just wonderful.

I made a reservation for dinner the day before the last day, thinking it would be a "memorable experience." The scenery and the food were great, and it became a wonderful memory.

Sunset cruises are available in many countries, but there can be a big difference in quality, so I was a bit worried. However, this time there were no disappointments in any aspect, and I highly recommend it.

I had requested a window seat as an option, but there are plenty of enjoyable moments like Polynesian dance and the final disco time, so it may not be necessary to specify the seat location.

I happened to sign up for the tour during the season when whales can be seen. Also, I thought that even if I couldn't see any whales, just being able to see Waikiki from the sea would be good enough, so I signed up with a light heart.

As a result, it was really great.
1. I was able to see the blue whales multiple times.
2. The food was much more delicious than what I had during the magic show, and even when the whales appeared, I was watching from the dining area while eating.
3. My wife usually gets seasick within an hour, but she didn't feel the engine's vibrations and was surprised by how little the boat rocked.
4. While Diamond Head is a great way to get a view of Waikiki, from the sea, we could see all the way to downtown.
5. I experienced my first ukulele class with Americans, Spaniards, and Hawaiians, which was an unexpected experience. It was also fun to see a white girl enjoying hula dance with sparkling eyes.

My husband and I participated for the first time. The waitress was very attentive and served us promptly. The food was plentiful to the point of being overwhelming! At one point, a whale appeared, and everyone rushed to the side of the boat where the whale was visible, which caused the boat to tilt a bit, surprising us, but we felt very lucky to see the whale.

We enjoyed a romantic dinner while watching the sunset, and both of us were able to experience a delightful moment away from our daily lives. There was Hawaiian music, hula dancing, and a sunset sinking into the horizon. It was the rainy season, but we were blessed with clear skies, making it a great day for a cruise!

About 80% of the participants were Japanese, and 20% were from Western countries.

We took a bus to the boat, and after getting off, we were guided by the staff to our seats, so being towards the front allowed us to sit by the window.

The air conditioning on the boat was the strongest I experienced during my time in Hawaii, so it would have been nice to have something to wrap around me. However, you can help yourself to warm drinks.

Seeing whales depends on luck, but we were able to see them from a distance. Having seen them up close before, I wished we could have seen them a bit closer this time. But it was still exciting!

The meal was a buffet, and everything was delicious. However, the desserts were quite sweet, so I left some behind.

After the meal, we experienced making a lei. I had never done it before, so it was fun! You can take it home with you. The cost is included in the tour.

This was more than just whale watching; it was a really great cruise experience!

食事はバイキングで、どれもおいしかったです。ただスイーツはかなり甘いので、残してしまいました。

食事の後にレイの花輪づくりを体験しました。経験したことがなかったので、楽しかったです♪そのまま持ち帰れます。金額はツアーに入ってます。

今回はホエールウォッチングとしてより、クルーズとしてはすごくよかったです！

Within five minutes of departing, a whale appeared, and we were all so excited! At first, we could only see it from a distance, but eventually, the whale came closer, and cheers erupted all around the boat. It's also reasonably priced, so I highly recommend it!

We went with a group of friends this past Saturday on the Early Bird cruise and it was fabulous! We saw whales pretty much the moment we left the harbor and we got lots of pictures. It wasn't too crowded at all. The ship is very nice, very well maintained and clean. The crew was very friendly and helpful.

I recommend motion sickness medication if you're prone to it. I am, and even though I took it beforehand I still got seasick.

We saw a pod of three whales, dolphins, and albatross. A very neat experience for us and the kids.

The staff's service was good and satisfactory.

I booked a sunset cruise to celebrate our honeymoon.

The staff's response was wonderful, and the food, performance, and sunset were all amazing. I would love to participate again when I go back to Hawaii.

The only disappointing part was when I accidentally wandered onto the Five Star exclusive deck and was treated unpleasantly by the Five Star staff.

Other than that, it was truly fantastic!

I participated in this with a friend on our first trip to Hawaii. (Two couples) The surroundings were overwhelmingly filled with honeymooners and couples. It felt more like enjoying the atmosphere than just having dinner on the boat. However, if you want to enjoy an intimate atmosphere for just the two of you, I think it's better to add an extra option, as you will normally be seated at a large round table (for eight people?). At the neighboring table, there was a group of a honeymoon couple and older individuals, and the couple seemed overwhelmed with questions...

As for the boat's sway, you can definitely feel it. My friend is prone to motion sickness, but they said it was bearable. I think if you don't focus too much on the swaying and concentrate on looking far away, eating, or chatting, you'll be fine.

Regarding attire, there were Japanese parents who dressed up quite formally even for a three-star experience, but there were also people in shorts, T-shirts, and sandals... That sight was amusing. In my opinion, dressing up isn't necessary for a three-star experience. (Later on, we all danced together with music on the boat.) 周りは圧倒的にハネムーンやカップルでいっぱい。
船上ﾃﾞｨﾅｰを楽しむ、というか雰囲気を楽しむ感じですね。
ただ、普通に申し込むと大きな円卓（８人掛け？）に案内されるので、
二人っきりでの雰囲気を楽しみたいのであれば、追加オプションをつけるほうがいいと思います。
隣のﾃｰﾌﾞﾙは、ハネムーンカップル＋年配の方のグループで
カップルは質問攻めで可哀相でした・・・。

船の揺れですが、やはり感じます。
友人は乗り物酔いしやすい体質ですが、なんとか耐えられる程度、と言っていました。
変に揺れを意識せず、遠くを見たり、食事や会話に集中すれば大丈夫かと思います。

服装ですが、３スターでもきっりしとドレスアップしてきている日本人親子もいましたが
短パン・Ｔシャツ・サンダル姿の人もいて・・・。
その光景はおかしかったです。
私の感覚ですが、３スターくらいであればドレスアップは不要かと思います。
（後半船内を音楽とともに皆でダンス？したりしますし）
ただ、やはり短パン・Ｔシャツ・サンダル姿は浮いているように感じました。
日本でデートで食事をしに行く格好、くらいの感覚は必要と思います。

I participated in whale watching during my mother and aunt's first trip to Hawaii, as it was the season for it. If you're expecting the spectacular jumps often seen in whale photos, you might be disappointed. However, if you approach it with the mindset of leisurely enjoying a cruise in Hawaii, you might feel lucky and satisfied to see some whales as a bonus.

They made sure we could see the whales well by moving around to chase them, and with lunch included, I think the price is reasonable.

I chose this tour because it was offered in Japanese, and while there were Japanese announcements during the cruise, it was disappointing that the staff's explanations about the whales right after departure were only in English.

ただ、日本語対応コースだったので参加したのですが、航行中のテープアナウンスは日本語もありましたが、出航直後のスタッフのクジラの説明など英語のみだったのが残念でした

I saw the tail fin while the water was splashing and the back was moving. Everyone was extremely helpful. My husband and I were directed to our table right away. When we decided to go up deck for the view we went back to our table and had our salads waiting for us. The lobster was delicious and they even helped crack it open. The entertainment was fun and engaging and when it came to disembark the ship, it was fast and painless...no line! My favorite part was the view of Honolulu and Waikiki at sunset.

We participated as a family.
The sea was rough, so it was very rocky.
Many people were feeling unwell.
I recommend bringing motion sickness medication.
There was a Japanese staff member, but their service was not very attentive, which was disappointing.

On February 4, 2011, I participated in a whale watching tour with a friend and my friend's mother, making it three of us.

I had joined a dinner cruise on the Star of Honolulu last summer, so this was my second time on this ship.

Since the season and time of day were different from my last visit, I was deeply moved by the view of Waikiki and the lush Diamond Head from the sea.

Even when I thought I could enjoy this scenery without seeing any whales, a whale appeared, and I was further touched to see dolphins swimming alongside the whale, playing together.
